A guessable session cookie vulnerability exists in the Web Interface functionality of GeoVision LPC2011/LPC2211 1.10. A specially crafted series of HTTP requests can lead to an authentication bypas. An attacker can bruteforce session cookies to trigger this vulnerability.
Versions of the package servst before 2.0.3 are vulnerable to Directory Traversal due to improper sanitization of the filePath variable.
Directory traversal vulnerability in Action View in Ruby on Rails before 3.2.22.1, 4.0.x and 4.1.x before 4.1.14.1, 4.2.x before 4.2.5.1, and 5.x before 5.0.0.beta1.1 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files by leveraging an application's unrestricted use of the render method and providing a .. (dot dot) in a pathname.
The WP User Manager – User Profile Builder & Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 2.9.17 via the (profile template scope) function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary .php files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where .php file types can be uploaded and included.
An issue was discovered on the D-Link DWR-932B router. qmiweb allows directory listing with ../ traversal.
Zoo 2.10 has Directory traversal
Zephyr's HTTP server (subsys/net/lib/http) provides a static-filesystem resource type (HTTP_RESOURCE_TYPE_STATIC_FS, available when CONFIG_FILE_SYSTEM is enabled) that serves files from a configured root directory. Before this fix, both the HTTP/1 and HTTP/2 front-ends placed the raw, attacker-controlled request path into client-url_buffer (assembled in on_url() for HTTP/1 and copied verbatim from the :path pseudo-header for HTTP/2) without resolving ./.. segments. The static-FS handler then built the on-disk filename by directly concatenating the configured root with that raw URL (snprintk(fname, ..., "%s%s", static_fs_detail-fs_path, client-url_buffer) at http_server_http1.c:603 and http_server_http2.c:490) and opened it with fs_open(fname, FS_O_READ). Because the handler is reached via wildcard/leading-dir (fnmatch FNM_LEADING_DIR) or fallback resource matching, a request such as GET /<prefix/../../<file is dispatched to the handler and, after the underlying filesystem (e.g. LittleFS/FAT) resolves the .. segments, escapes the configured web root, letting an unauthenticated remote client read arbitrary readable files on the mounted volume (information disclosure). The HTTP server requires no TLS or authentication to reach this path. The fix adds http_server_remove_dot_segments(), which canonicalizes the path portion of the URL before resource lookup in both protocol handlers, neutralizing the traversal. Affects releases v4.0.0 through v4.4.0 for deployments that register a static-filesystem resource.
The RobotCPA plugin 5 for WordPress has directory traversal via the f.php l parameter.
The s3bubble-amazon-s3-html-5-video-with-adverts plugin 0.7 for WordPress has directory traversal via the adverts/assets/plugins/ultimate/content/downloader.php path parameter.
The Salon Booking System – Free Version plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in versions up to, and including, 10.30.25. This is due to the public booking flow accepting attacker-controlled file-field values and later using those stored values as trusted paths for email attachments. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary local files and exfiltrate them via booking confirmation email attachments.
Directory traversal vulnerability in the mTheme-Unus theme before 2.3 for WordPress allows an attacker to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the files parameter to css/css.php.

A malicious actor with access to the network could exploit a Path Traversal vulnerability found in UniFi Protect Floodlight devices to access files on the UniFi Protect Floodlight.
Allows the extraction filter to be ignored, allowing symlink targets to point outside the destination directory, and the modification of some file metadata. You are affected by this vulnerability if using the tarfile module to extract untrusted tar archives using TarFile.extractall() or TarFile.extract() using the filter= parameter with a value of "data" or "tar". See the tarfile extraction filters documentation https://docs.python.org/3/library/tarfile.html#tarfile-extraction-filter for more information. Note that for Python 3.14 or later the default value of filter= changed from "no filtering" to `"data", so if you are relying on this new default behavior then your usage is also affected. Note that none of these vulnerabilities significantly affect the installation of source distributions which are tar archives as source distributions already allow arbitrary code execution during the build process. However when evaluating source distributions it's important to avoid installing source distributions with suspicious links.
File Browser is a file managing interface for uploading, deleting, previewing, renaming, and editing files within a specified directory. Prior to 2.63.14, it does not stop the HTTP file handlers from following symbolic links before they open, serve, write, share, or list a file. As a result, a scoped user — and in some cases an unauthenticated public-share recipient — can cross the intended scope boundary by following a symlink whose path is lexically inside their scope but whose target is outside it. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.63.14.
NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit) is a suite of open source Python modules, data sets, and tutorials supporting research and development in Natural Language Processing. Prior to 3.10.0-rc1, nltk.data.load() in NLTK is vulnerable to path traversal via URL-encoded path separators and traversal segments when using the nltk: URL scheme. The unsafe-path regex check is performed before url2pathname() decodes the %xx sequences (a classic decode-after-check / TOCTOU-style flaw), allowing an attacker to bypass the protection documented in NLTK's SECURITY.md and read arbitrary files from the filesystem. While literal traversal strings such as ../../../etc/passwd are correctly blocked, encoded variants such as %2fetc%2fpasswd, %2e%2e%2f..., and ..%2f..%2f slip past the regex and are subsequently decoded into a real filesystem path. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.10.0-rc1.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Marvell QConvergeConsole 5.5.0.64. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the getFileUploadBytes method of the FlashValidatorServiceImpl class. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose stored credentials, leading to further compromise. Was ZDI-CAN-10499.
picklescan before 0.0.35 contains an unsafe pickle deserialization vulnerability allowing unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary server files by chaining io.FileIO and urllib.request.urlopen. Attackers can bypass RCE-focused blocklists to exfiltrate sensitive data like /etc/passwd to external servers.
SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, the patch for CVE-2026-41894 ("Path Traversal via Double URL Encoding") sanitized the /export/ route but the identical root cause remains in the /assets/*path route. In publish mode (anonymous read-only HTTP endpoint, default port 6808), an unauthenticated remote attacker can read arbitrary files inside WorkspaceDir — including conf/conf.json (which contains the AccessAuthCode SHA256 hash, API token, and sync keys), temp/siyuan.db, temp/blocktree.db, and siyuan.log — by double-URL-encoding .. segments. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0.
Cockpit CMS before release 364 contains a path traversal and local file inclusion vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files or execute PHP files by including unvalidated PATH_INFO derived from REQUEST_URI in filesystem path construction without containment checks. Attackers can inject dot-dot sequences into the URL to traverse outside the designated spaces directory, and when the resolved path ends with a .php extension, the application passes it to include(), enabling local file inclusion on deployments using the PHP built-in server or certain non-default Nginx configurations.
Caddy is an extensible server platform that uses TLS by default. Prior to 2.11.4, on Windows, Caddy path matchers treat /private\secret.txt as outside /private/*, but file_server later resolves the same request path as private\secret.txt on disk. An unauthenticated remote client can bypass Caddy path-scoped auth/deny routes protecting /private/*. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.11.4.
Barco Control Room Management through Suite 2.9 Build 0275 was discovered to be vulnerable to directory traversal, allowing attackers to access sensitive information and components. Requests must begin with the "GET /..\.." substring.

Gradio before 6.16.0 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the FileExplorer component's preprocess() method that allows unauthenticated attackers to escape the configured root directory by supplying path segments containing directory traversal sequences or absolute paths. Attackers can provide crafted path segments that cause os.path.join to discard the root_dir prefix entirely, resulting in arbitrary file read or exposure of sensitive files outside the intended directory.
Unauthenticated Arbitrary File Download in WPC Product Options for WooCommerce <= 3.2.1 versions.
A vulnerability has been identified in SiNVR/SiVMS Video Server (All versions < V5.0.0). The streaming service (default port 5410/tcp) of the SiVMS/SiNVR Video Server contains a path traversal vulnerability, that could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to access and download arbitrary files from the server.
Taipy 4.1.1, fixed in commit 129fd40, contains a path traversal vulnerability in the ElementLibrary.get_resource() method in taipy/gui/extension/library.py that allows unauthenticated attackers to escape the intended module directory by exploiting an incomplete path containment check using str.startswith() without a trailing path separator. Attackers can send crafted GET requests with path traversal segments targeting a prefix-matching sibling directory on disk, bypassing the directory containment check because Flask's path converter and Werkzeug's WSGI layer preserve the traversal segments while the resolved path still satisfies the flawed startswith comparison, enabling unauthorized file access outside the intended library directory.
The package github.com/argoproj/argo-events/sensors/artifacts before 1.7.1 are vulnerable to Directory Traversal in the (g *GitArtifactReader).Read() API in git.go. This could allow arbitrary file reads if the GitArtifactReader is provided a pathname containing a symbolic link or an implicit directory name such as ...
A Directory Traversal in the Web interface of the Allied Telesis AT-GS950/8 until Firmware AT-S107 V.1.1.3 [1.00.047] allows unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary system files via a GET request. NOTE: This is an End-of-Life product.
TVT NVMS-1000 devices allow GET /.. Directory Traversal
Artica Proxy before 4.30.000000 Community Edition allows Directory Traversal via the fw.progrss.details.php popup parameter.
Banana Slides through 0.4.0, patched in commit e8bc490, contains a path traversal vulnerability in the generate_image() function within the AI service backend that allows unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary image-format files outside the intended uploads directory by exploiting an incomplete path prefix check using os.path.startswith() without a trailing separator. Attackers can supply crafted markdown image references in user-controlled page descriptions that resolve to sibling directories whose names share the uploads folder prefix, bypassing the directory confinement check and causing the application to read files from unintended locations via PIL Image.open().
Routinator does not properly check the module component of rsync URIs, which are used to create the file system paths for the Routinator cache. This allows for path traversal by having a module name containing .., potentially providing an attacker access to the entire Routinator rsync cache.
A downloadFile.php download_file path traversal vulnerability in rConfig through 3.9.3 allows attackers to list files in arbitrary folders and potentially download files. NOTE: the discoverer later reported that there was not a "fully working exploit.
Pat Infinite Solutions HelpdeskAdvanced <= 11.0.33 is vulnerable to Directory Traversal via the Attachment/DownloadTempFile function.
The Log module in SECUDOS DOMOS before 5.6 allows local file inclusion.
This affects all versions of package static-dev-server. This is because when paths from users to the root directory are joined, the assets for the path accessed are relative to that of the root directory.
/var/WEB-GUI/cgi-bin/downloadfile.cgi on FiberHome HG2201T 1.00.M5007_JS_201804 devices allows pre-authentication Directory Traversal for reading arbitrary files.

With this vulnerability, the attacker can bypass authentication.
HashiCorp’s go-getter library up to v1.8.5 may allow arbitrary file reads on the file system during certain git operations through a maliciously crafted URL. This vulnerability, CVE-2026-4660, is fixed in go-getter v1.8.6. This vulnerability does not affect the go-getter/v2 branch and package.
Pat Infinite Solutions HelpdeskAdvanced <= 11.0.33 is vulnerable to Directory Traversal via the WSCView/Save function.
The LabOne Web Server, backing the LabOne User Interface, contains insufficient input validation in its file access functionality. An unauthenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to read arbitrary files on the host system that are accessible to the operating system user running the LabOne software. Additionally, the Web Server does not sufficiently restrict cross-origin requests, which could allow a remote attacker to trigger file access from a victim's browser by directing the victim to a malicious website. The vulnerability is only exploitable when the LabOne Web Server is running. Installations using only the LabOne APIs without starting the Web Server are not exposed.
