org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-platform-component-wiki provides no warning when granting XWiki.ComponentClass programming right

XWiki is a generic wiki platform. In versions starting from 15.9-rc-1 to before 15.10.12, from 16.0.0-rc-1 to before 16.4.3, and from 16.5.0-rc-1 to before 16.8.0-rc-1, when a user with programming rights edits a document in XWiki that was last edited by a user without programming rights and contains an XWiki.ComponentClass, there is no warning that this will grant programming rights to this object. An attacker who created such a malicious object could use this to gain programming rights on the wiki. For this, the attacker needs to have edit rights on at least one page to place this object and then get an admin user to edit that document. This issue has been patched in versions 15.10.12, 16.4.3, and 16.8.0-rc-1.

Termix Vulnerable to Arbitrary Command Execution via Session Hijacking

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. Prior to version 2.3.2, the File Manager functionality in Termix contains a critical Broken Access Control vulnerability due to improper validation of the sessionId parameter. The backend trusts a client-controlled identifier without verifying that it belongs to the authenticated user. This allows an attacker to manipulate the value and access active File Manager sessions belonging to other users. Since these sessions are tied to SSH connections to remote VPS instances, exploitation allows unauthorized interaction with another user's remote filesystem. Because the File Manager exposes functionality such as file reading, writing, uploading, and execution, this vulnerability enables direct command execution on another user's VPS (RCE). Version 2.3.2 patches the issue.

SiYuan: Stored XSS results to Electron RCE in SiYuan marketplace via unescaped `data-obj` attribute (Bypass for CVE-2026-45375's patch)

SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, it does not escape the untrusted fields (name, version, author, description) when they are serialized into the data-obj HTML attribute of each marketplace card. Because the attribute is single-quoted and the value is produced with JSON.stringify() (which does not escape ', <, or >), a package whose name contains a single quote breaks out of the attribute and injects arbitrary HTML. In the desktop client the main BrowserWindow runs with nodeIntegration: true, contextIsolation: false, so the injected markup escalates from DOM XSS to arbitrary OS command execution. This is the same root cause and same impact as the original advisory, reached through a sibling sink the patch did not cover. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0.

Better Auth: Unauthorized invitation acceptance via unverified email match in organization plugin

Better Auth is an authentication and authorization library for TypeScript. Prior to 1.6.11, and in 1.6.14 and later when invitation IDs can be obtained outside the invited mailbox and requireEmailVerificationOnInvitation: true is not enabled, the organization plugin's acceptInvitation, rejectInvitation, getInvitation, and listUserInvitations recipient endpoints use session.user.email and an invitation ID without sufficient verified-email ownership proof, allowing a user with an unverified session for the invited email address to accept an organization invitation after obtaining the invitation ID. This issue is fixed for the original default behavior in version 1.6.11, while 1.6.14 restored compatibility for built-in opaque invitation IDs and leaves affected configurations requiring secure options.

OpenEMR: Stored XSS in prescription CSS/HTML print view via patient demographics

OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to version 8.0.0.1, a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the prescription CSS/HTML multi-print feature allows a patient portal user to execute arbitrary JavaScript in a clinician's browser session. Patient demographic fields (name, address) are rendered without output encoding in multiprintcss_header(), and portal patients can write attacker-controlled HTML directly into patient_data by calling the PUT api/patient/:num endpoint, which bypasses the intended audit review workflow. Because the XSS fires in the clinician's authenticated session on the main OpenEMR interface, the attacker can access CSRF tokens, session data, and perform actions as the clinician — crossing the patient-to-clinician trust boundary. This issue has been patched in version 8.0.0.1.

Termix Vulnerable to Arbitrary Command Execution in File Manager

Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. Prior to version 2.3.2, the GET /ssh/file_manager/ssh/resolvePath endpoint in the Termix File Manager component unsafely processes the path parameter and embeds it into a shell command executed over the active SSH session. Because the user-controlled value is placed inside double quotes and only double quotes are escaped, shell command substitution syntax such as $(...) is still interpreted by the remote shell. Version 2.3.2 fixes the issue.

Privilege escalation (PR) through realtime WYSIWYG editing in XWiki

XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform offering runtime services for applications built on top of it. NOTE: The Realtime WYSIWYG Editor extension was **experimental**, and thus **not recommended**, in the versions affected by this vulnerability. It has become enabled by default, and thus recommended, starting with XWiki 16.9.0. A user with only **edit right** can join a realtime editing session where others, that where already there or that may join later, have **script** or **programming** access rights. This user can then insert **script rendering macros** that are executed for those users in the realtime session that have script or programming rights. The inserted scripts can be used to gain more access rights. This vulnerability has been patched in XWiki 15.10.2, 16.4.1 and 16.6.0-rc-1. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade may either disable the realtime WYSIWYG editing by disabling the ``xwiki-realtime`` CKEditor plugin from the WYSIWYG editor administration section or uninstall the Realtime WYSIWYG Editorextension (org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-platform-realtime-wysiwyg-ui).

In XWiki Platform, payloads stored in content is executed when a user with script/programming right edit them

XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform offering runtime services for applications built on top of it. A user without script/programming right can trick a user with elevated rights to edit a content with a malicious payload using a WYSIWYG editor. The user with elevated rights is not warned beforehand that they are going to edit possibly dangerous content. The payload is executed at edit time. SiYuan: Mermaid `javascript:` Link Injection Leads to Stored XSS and Electron RCE

SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. In versions 3.6.3 and below, Mermaid diagrams are rendered with securityLevel set to "loose", and the resulting SVG is injected into the DOM via innerHTML. This allows attacker-controlled javascript: URLs in Mermaid code blocks to survive into the rendered output. On desktop builds using Electron, windows are created with nodeIntegration enabled and contextIsolation disabled, escalating the stored XSS to arbitrary code execution when a victim opens a note containing a malicious Mermaid block and clicks the rendered diagram node. This issue has been fixed in version 3.6.4.

Disabling a user account changes its author, allowing RCE from user account in XWiki

XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform offering runtime services for applications built on top of it. When an admin disables a user account, the user's profile is executed with the admin's rights. This allows a user to place malicious code in the user profile before getting an admin to disable the user account. To reproduce, as a user without script nor programming rights, edit the about section of your user profile and add `{{groovy}}services.logging.getLogger("attacker").error("Hello from Groovy!"){{/groovy}}`. As an admin, go to the user profile and click the "Disable this account" button. Then, reload the page. If the logs show `attacker - Hello from Groovy!` then the instance is vulnerable. This has been patched in XWiki 14.10.21, 15.5.5, 15.10.6 and 16.0.0. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. ### Workarounds We're not aware of any workaround except upgrading. ### References * https://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-21611 * https://github.com/xwiki/xwiki-platform/commit/f89c8f47fad6e5cc7e68c69a7e0acde07f5eed5a

SiYuan affected by Remote Code Execution in the Electron desktop client via stored XSS in synced table captions

SiYuan is a personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.6.4, a malicious note synced to another user can trigger remote code execution in the SiYuan Electron desktop client. The root cause is that table caption content is stored without safe escaping and later unescaped into rendered HTML, creating a stored XSS sink. Because the desktop renderer runs with nodeIntegration enabled and contextIsolation disabled, attacker-controlled JavaScript executes with access to Node.js APIs. In practice, an attacker can import a crafted note into a synced workspace, wait for the victim to sync, and achieve code execution when the victim opens the note. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.6.4.

SiYuan: Stored XSS in Attribute View gallery/kanban cover rendering allows arbitrary command execution in the desktop client

SiYuan is a personal knowledge management system. Prior to version 3.6.2, an attacker who can place a malicious URL in an Attribute View mAsse field can trigger stored XSS when a victim opens the Gallery or Kanban view with “Cover From -> Asset Field” enabled. The vulnerable code accepts arbitrary http(s) URLs without extensions as images, stores the attacker-controlled string in coverURL, and injects it directly into an <img src="..."> attribute without escaping. In the Electron desktop client, the injected JavaScript executes with nodeIntegration enabled and contextIsolation disabled, so the XSS reaches arbitrary OS command execution under the victim’s account. This issue has been patched in version 3.6.2.

Budibase Vulnerable to Remote Code Execution via Unsafe eval() in View Filter Map Function (Budibase Cloud)

Budibase is a low code platform for creating internal tools, workflows, and admin panels. Prior to version 3.30.4, an unsafe `eval()` vulnerability in Budibase's view filtering implementation allows any authenticated user (including free tier accounts) to execute arbitrary JavaScript code on the server. This vulnerability ONLY affects Budibase Cloud (SaaS) - self-hosted deployments use native CouchDB views and are not vulnerable. The vulnerability exists in `packages/server/src/db/inMemoryView.ts` where user-controlled view map functions are directly evaluated without sanitization. The primary impact comes from what lives inside the pod's environment: the `app-service` pod runs with secrets baked into its environment variables, including `INTERNAL_API_KEY`, `JWT_SECRET`, CouchDB admin credentials, AWS keys, and more. Using the extracted CouchDB credentials, we verified direct database access, enumerated all tenant databases, and confirmed that user records (email addresses) are readable. Version 3.30.4 contains a patch.

Missing Authorization Validation in mlflow/mlflow

A vulnerability in MLflow versions <=3.10.1.dev0 allows unauthorized access to multipart upload (MPU) endpoints when the `--serve-artifacts` mode is enabled. The authorization logic does not enforce resource-level permission checks for `/mlflow-artifacts/mpu/*` endpoints, enabling attackers to overwrite artifacts belonging to other users. This can lead to unauthorized cross-user writes, model supply chain poisoning, and arbitrary code execution when compromised models are loaded. The issue is resolved in version 3.10.0.

Arbitrary code execution on click of PDF links in Joplin

Joplin is a free, open source note taking and to-do application. A remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in affected versions allows clicking on a link in a PDF in an untrusted note to execute arbitrary shell commands. Clicking links in PDFs allows for arbitrary code execution because Joplin desktop: 1. has not disabled top redirection for note viewer iframes, and 2. and has node integration enabled. This is a remote code execution vulnerability that impacts anyone who attaches untrusted PDFs to notes and has the icon enabled. This issue has been addressed in version 2.13.3. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.

Arbitrary code execution vulnerability when using shared Kubernetes cluster

Garden provides automation for Kubernetes development and testing. Prior tov ersions 0.13.17 and 0.12.65, Garden has a dependency on the cryo library, which is vulnerable to code injection due to an insecure implementation of deserialization. Garden stores serialized objects using cryo in the Kubernetes `ConfigMap` resources prefixed with `test-result` and `run-result` to cache Garden test and run results. These `ConfigMaps` are stored either in the `garden-system` namespace or the configured user namespace. When a user invokes the command `garden test` or `garden run` objects stored in the `ConfigMap` are retrieved and deserialized. This can be used by an attacker with access to the Kubernetes cluster to store malicious objects in the `ConfigMap`, which can trigger a remote code execution on the users machine when cryo deserializes the object. In order to exploit this vulnerability, an attacker must have access to the Kubernetes cluster used to deploy garden remote environments. Further, a user must actively invoke either a `garden test` or `garden run` which has previously cached results. The issue has been patched in Garden versions `0.13.17` (Bonsai) and `0.12.65` (Acorn). Only Garden versions prior to these are vulnerable. No known workarounds are available.
