SiYuan: SQL Query in Block Search Exposes Hidden Published Document Content

SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.1, the block search endpoint POST /api/search/fullTextSearchBlock concatenates attacker-controlled paths values into SQL predicates used by non-SQL search modes, allowing an unauthenticated publish visitor to inject a UNION SELECT and return rows from hidden documents by projecting an allowed visible box and path. This issue is fixed in versions 3.7.1.

SiYuan: Path Traversal via Double URL Encoding in /assets/*path (publish mode arbitrary file─read)

SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, the patch for CVE-2026-41894 ("Path Traversal via Double URL Encoding") sanitized the /export/ route but the identical root cause remains in the /assets/*path route. In publish mode (anonymous read-only HTTP endpoint, default port 6808), an unauthenticated remote attacker can read arbitrary files inside WorkspaceDir — including conf/conf.json (which contains the AccessAuthCode SHA256 hash, API token, and sync keys), temp/siyuan.db, temp/blocktree.db, and siyuan.log — by double-URL-encoding .. segments. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0.

SiYuan is a personal knowledge management system. Prior to version 3.6.2, the Siyuan kernel exposes an unauthenticated file-serving endpoint under `/appearance/*filepath.` Due to improper path sanitization, attackers can perform directory traversal and read arbitrary files accessible to the server process. Authentication checks explicitly exclude this endpoint, allowing exploitation without valid credentials. Version 3.6.2 fixes this issue.

SiYuan: Cross-Origin WebSocket Hijacking via Authentication Bypass — Unauthenticated Information Disclosure

SiYuan is a personal knowledge management system. In versions 3.6.0 and below, the WebSocket endpoint (/ws) allows unauthenticated connections when specific URL parameters are provided (?app=siyuan&id=auth&type=auth). This bypass, intended for the login page to keep the kernel alive, allows any external client — including malicious websites via cross-origin WebSocket — to connect and receive all server push events in real-time. These events leak sensitive document metadata including document titles, notebook names, file paths, and all CRUD operations performed by authenticated users. Combined with the absence of Origin header validation, a malicious website can silently connect to a victim's local SiYuan instance and monitor their note-taking activity. This issue has been fixed in version 3.6.1.

SiYuan: Broken access control in /api/bookmark/getBookmark allows unauthenticated publish visitors to read password-protected bookmarked content

SiYuan is a personal knowledge management system. Prior to version 3.6.2, the publish service exposes bookmarked blocks from password-protected documents to unauthenticated visitors. In publish/read-only mode, /api/bookmark/getBookmark filters bookmark results by calling FilterBlocksByPublishAccess(nil, ...). Because the filter treats a nil context as authorized, it skips the publish password check and returns bookmarked blocks from documents configured as Protected. As a result, anyone who can access the publish service can retrieve content from protected documents without providing the required password, as long as at least one block in the document is bookmarked. This issue has been patched in version 3.6.2.

SiYuan: Authorization Bypass Allows Arbitrary SQL Execution via Search API

SiYuan is a personal knowledge management system. Versions 3.6.0 and below contain an authorization bypass vulnerability in the /api/search/fullTextSearchBlock endpoint. When the method parameter is set to 2, the endpoint passes user-supplied input directly as a raw SQL statement to the underlying SQLite database without any authorization or read-only checks. This allows any authenticated user — including those with the Reader role — to execute arbitrary SQL statements (SELECT, DELETE, UPDATE, DROP TABLE, etc.) against the application's database. This is inconsistent with the application's own security model: the dedicated SQL endpoint (/api/query/sql) correctly requires both CheckAdminRole and CheckReadonly middleware, but the search endpoint bypasses these controls entirely. This issue has been fixed in version 3.6.1.

ClearSale Total <= 3.4.2 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection

The ClearSale Total plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the `pagseguro[metodo]` POST parameter of the `clearsale_total_push` AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.2. The handler is registered for unauthenticated users (`wp_ajax_nopriv_clearsale_total_push`), and although a `wp_verify_nonce()` check exists, the failing branch's `die()` is commented out so execution continues regardless of nonce validity. On PHP < 8.0 the attacker-supplied `$metodo` value bypasses the `switch ($metodo) { case 4: ... }` guard via loose type juggling (the string `"4 AND SLEEP(5)"` compares equal to integer `4`), reaching an unquoted `UPDATE wp_cs_total_dadosextras SET metodo=$metodo, ...` query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. WP Review Slider Pro <= 12.7.2 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection via 'notinstring' Parameter

The WP Review Slider Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'notinstring' parameter of the wprp_load_more_revs AJAX action in versions up to, and including, 12.7.2. The parameter is read via $_POST['notinstring'] and passed through sanitize_text_field() — which strips HTML and whitespace but does not provide SQL safety. The value is then concatenated directly into a numeric/unquoted `AND id NOT IN (...)` clause and executed via $wpdb->get_results() without $wpdb->prepare() or intval() casting. Because the value sits in an unquoted numeric context, WordPress's wp_magic_quotes protection (which only escapes embedded quotes) is ineffective. The AJAX hook is registered via wp_ajax_nopriv_wprp_load_more_revs, and the required check_ajax_referer nonce is publicly available via wp_localize_script on any frontend page that renders the plugin shortcode, so an unauthenticated attacker who can reach a public page hosting the plugin can extract arbitrary data from the database via blind/time-based injection.
