Microsoft Power Automate Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
Redis is an in-memory database that persists on disk. By exploiting weaknesses in the Lua script execution environment, an attacker with access to Redis prior to version 7.0.0 or 6.2.7 can inject Lua code that will execute with the (potentially higher) privileges of another Redis user. The Lua script execution environment in Redis provides some measures that prevent a script from creating side effects that persist and can affect the execution of the same, or different script, at a later time. Several weaknesses of these measures have been publicly known for a long time, but they had no security impact as the Redis security model did not endorse the concept of users or privileges. With the introduction of ACLs in Redis 6.0, these weaknesses can be exploited by a less privileged users to inject Lua code that will execute at a later time, when a privileged user executes a Lua script. The problem is fixed in Redis versions 7.0.0 and 6.2.7. An additional workaround to mitigate this problem without patching the redis-server executable, if Lua scripting is not being used, is to block access to `SCRIPT LOAD` and `EVAL` commands using ACL rules.
The package convert-svg-core before 0.6.3 are vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Injection when using a specially crafted SVG file. An attacker can read arbitrary files from the file system and then show the file content as a converted PNG file.
SwiftTerm is a Xterm/VT100 Terminal emulator. Prior to commit a94e6b24d24ce9680ad79884992e1dff8e150a31, an attacker could modify the window title via a certain character escape sequence and then insert it back to the command line in the user's terminal, e.g. when the user views a file containing the malicious sequence, which could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands. Version a94e6b24d24ce9680ad79884992e1dff8e150a31 contains a patch for this issue. There are no known workarounds available.

Home assistant is an open source home automation. The Home Assistant Companion for Android app up to version 2023.8.2 is vulnerable to arbitrary URL loading in a WebView. This enables all sorts of attacks, including arbitrary JavaScript execution, limited native code execution, and credential theft. This issue has been patched in version 2023.9.2 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. This issue is also tracked as GitHub Security Lab (GHSL) Vulnerability Report: `GHSL-2023-142`.
An issue in Pagekit pagekit v.1.0.18 alows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via thedownloadAction and updateAction functions in UpdateController.php
A YAML injection vulnerability exists in the Windows.Collectors.Remapping artifact of Rapid7 Velociraptor before version 0.76.6. The hostname field in client_info.json inside a collection ZIP is inserted into a YAML template via Go's text/template without escaping. An attacker providing a crafted collection ZIP can leverage literal double quotes and newlines in the hostname to break out of the YAML quoted string and inject a new mount remapping entry. When an analyst applies the generated remapping file with --remap, arbitrary VQL executes on their machine with NullACLManager (all permissions granted, unsandboxed).
GDI+ in Microsoft Windows Vista SP2 and Server 2008 SP2; Office 2003 SP3, 2007 SP3, and 2010 SP1 and SP2; Office Compatibility Pack SP3; and Lync 2010, 2010 Attendee, 2013, and Basic 2013 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted TIFF image, as demonstrated by an image in a Word document, and exploited in the wild in October and November 2013.
PraisonAI before 4.6.78 fails to safely encode deployment configuration values when generating Python source code for API servers. Attackers can inject arbitrary Python expressions through the deploy.api.host and agents_file configuration parameters that execute when the generated server starts or handles requests.
Microsoft DirectMusic Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
Insufficient validation of node IDs in Qt SVG module allows arbitrary QML/JavaScript code injection when loading malicious SVG files through the VectorImage component in Qt Quick. While QML execution is typically more restricted than native code execution, this could still lead to denial of service, information disclosure, or other impacts depending on the application's privilege level and data access.
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 SP2, 3.5, 3.5.1, 4, and 4.5; Silverlight 5 before 5.1.20513.0; win32k.sys in the kernel-mode drivers, and GDI+, DirectWrite, and Journal, in Windows XP SP2 and SP3, Windows Server 2003 SP2, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, and Windows RT; GDI+ in Office 2003 SP3, 2007 SP3, and 2010 SP1; GDI+ in Visual Studio .NET 2003 SP1; and GDI+ in Lync 2010, 2010 Attendee, 2013, and Basic 2013 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted TrueType Font (TTF) file, aka "TrueType Font Parsing Vulnerability."
Koodo Reader is an ebook reader. In version 2.3.0 and earlier, Koodo Reader is vulnerable to remote code execution through malicious EPUB files because the open-book IPC handler enables nodeIntegrationInSubFrames and EPUB chapter content is rendered with unsanitized innerHTML. An attacker can craft an EPUB book that, when imported and opened by the victim, instantiates a hidden iframe with Node.js API access and executes arbitrary operating system commands with the victim user's privileges. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.1.
Tina is a headless content management system. @tinacms/cli versions prior to 2.4.3 contain a Remote Code Execution vulnerability in the Forestry-to-Tina migration command. The internal helper addVariablesToCode unquotes any value matching the marker "__TINA_INTERNAL__:::(.*?):::" inside the stringified collection JSON. User-supplied label and name fields from .forestry/**/*.yml are placed into that JSON without any sanitisation. An attacker who controls a Forestry-style project can therefore inject arbitrary JavaScript into the generated tina/templates.{ts,js} file. The injected code is written at module top level, so it executes the moment the developer runs tinacms dev or tinacms build, with the developer's privileges. This issue has been fixed in version 2.4.3.
IBM Spectrum Protect Client and IBM Storage Protect for Virtual Environments 8.1.0.0 through 8.1.19.0 could allow a local user to execute arbitrary code on the system using a specially crafted file, caused by a DLL hijacking flaw. IBM X-Force ID: 259246.
Reportlab up to v3.6.12 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via supplying a crafted PDF file.
Inclusion of functionality from untrusted control sphere in Visual Studio Code allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
Babel is a compiler for writing next generation JavaScript. From 7.12.0 to before 7.29.4 and 8.0.0-alpha.13, using Babel to compile code that was specifically crafted by an attacker can cause Babel to generate output code that executes arbitrary code. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.29.4 and 8.0.0-alpha.13.
claude-code-cache-fix is a cache optimization proxy for Claude Code. From 3.5.0 to before 3.5.2, tools/quota-statusline.sh (introduced in v3.5.0) interpolates Claude Code's hook stdin payload directly into a Python triple-quoted string literal. A ''' byte sequence in any user-controlled field of the payload closes the literal early and lets following bytes execute as Python in the user's Claude Code process. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.5.2.
This issue was addressed by forcing hardened runtime on the affected binaries at the system level. This issue is fixed in macOS Monterey 12.6.6, macOS Big Sur 11.7.7, macOS Ventura 13.4. An app may be able to inject code into sensitive binaries bundled with Xcode.
An issue in the code-runner.executorMap setting of Visual Studio Code Extensions Code Runner v0.12.2 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code when opening a crafted workspace.
The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Monterey 12.6.8, macOS Ventura 13.5, macOS Big Sur 11.7.9. Processing a file may lead to unexpected app termination or arbitrary code execution.
Unspecified vulnerability in Adobe Flash Player before 11.3.300.271 on Windows and Mac OS X and before 11.2.202.238 on Linux allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (application crash) via crafted SWF content, as exploited in the wild in August 2012 with SWF content in a Word document.
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2, 3.5.1, and 4, and Silverlight 4 before 4.1.10111, does not properly restrict access to memory associated with unmanaged objects, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via (1) a crafted XAML browser application (aka XBAP), (2) a crafted ASP.NET application, (3) a crafted .NET Framework application, or (4) a crafted Silverlight application, aka ".NET Framework Unmanaged Objects Vulnerability."
LMDeploy is a toolkit for compressing, deploying, and serving large language models. In versions 0.12.3 and prior, hardcoded "trust_remote_code=True" enables HF supply-chain RCE without user opt-in. At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.
An issue found in Wondershare Technology Co.,Ltd Edraw-max v.12.0.4 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands via the edraw-max_setup_full5371.exe file.
emacsclient-mail.desktop in Emacs 28.1 through 28.2 is vulnerable to Emacs Lisp code injections through a crafted mailto: URI with unescaped double-quote characters. It is fixed in 29.0.90.
Roslyn CodeLens MCP Server is a Roslyn-based MCP server providing semantic code intelligence for .NET codebases. From 0.0.9 to 1.17.0, the get_diagnostics MCP tool loads and executes all DiagnosticAnalyzer assemblies referenced by the target solution without any allowlist, signature check, or user confirmation; includeAnalyzers defaults to true, so no explicit opt-in is required. An attacker who can place a malicious .csproj referencing an attacker-controlled DLL in a location the victim opens with the MCP server will achieve arbitrary code execution in the server process with the server's OS privileges. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.17.0.
An issue was discovered in Foxit PDF and Editor for Windows and macOS before 13.2 and 2025 before 2025.2. They allow potential arbitrary code execution when processing crafted PDF files. The vulnerability stems from insufficient handling of memory allocation failures after assigning an extremely large value to a form field's charLimit property via JavaScript. This can result in memory corruption and may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code by persuading a user to open a malicious file.
pyp2spec generates working Fedora RPM spec file for Python projects. Prior to version 0.14.1, pyp2spec was writing PyPI package metadata (e.g. the summary field) into the generated spec file without escaping RPM macro directives. When a packager then runs rpmbuild, those directives get evaluated, so a malicious package can execute arbitrary commands on the build machine. This issue has been patched in version 0.14.1.
Notepad Next is a cross-platform, reimplementation of Notepad++. Prior to version 0.14, NotepadNext's detectLanguageFromExtension() function interpolates a file's extension directly into a Lua script without sanitization. An attacker can craft a filename whose extension contains Lua code, which executes automatically when the victim opens the file in NotepadNext. Because luaL_openlibs() is called unconditionally, the full os, io, and package libraries are available to the injected code, enabling arbitrary command execution. This issue has been patched in version 0.14.
Kitty is a cross-platform GPU based terminal. In versions prior to 0.47.0, a program able to write bytes to a kitty terminal — a remote SSH peer, a downloaded file viewed with `cat`, a log line, an email body rendered in `less`, an issue body in a TUI, etc. — can cause kitty to execute attacker-supplied Python inside the running kitty process, with the user's full privileges. There is no approval prompt, no remote-control permission requirement, no shell-integration interaction, no clipboard touch, and no editor interaction. Version 0.47.0 fixes the issue.
jadx is a Dex to Java decompiler. Prior to 1.5.6, jadx inserts the android:versionName value from an AndroidManifest into the generated app/build.gradle Groovy template without proper sanitization when exporting a decompiled APK as an Android Gradle project. A malicious APK can break out of the string context so that opening or building the exported Gradle project executes attacker-controlled Groovy code on the victim machine. This issue is fixed in version 1.5.6.
Sockeye is an open-source sequence-to-sequence framework for Neural Machine Translation built on PyTorch. Sockeye uses YAML to store model and data configurations on disk. Versions below 2.3.24 use unsafe YAML loading, which can be made to execute arbitrary code embedded in config files. An attacker can add malicious code to the config file of a trained model and attempt to convince users to download and run it. If users run the model, the embedded code will run locally. The issue is fixed in version 2.3.24.

Microsoft Word Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
Microsoft Defender Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to 4.5.128, PraisonAI automatically loads a file named tools.py from the current working directory to discover and register custom agent tools. This loading process uses importlib.util.spec_from_file_location and immediately executes module-level code via spec.loader.exec_module() without explicit user consent, validation, or sandboxing. The tools.py file is loaded implicitly, even when it is not referenced in configuration files or explicitly requested by the user. As a result, merely placing a file named tools.py in the working directory is sufficient to trigger code execution. This behavior violates the expected security boundary between user-controlled project files (e.g., YAML configurations) and executable code, as untrusted content in the working directory is treated as trusted and executed automatically. If an attacker can place a malicious tools.py file into a directory where a user or automated system (e.g., CI/CD pipeline) runs praisonai, arbitrary code execution occurs immediately upon startup, before any agent logic begins. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.128.
Microsoft Excel Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
There is a DDE injection vulnerability in the GoldenDB database product. Attackers can inject DDE expressions through the interface, and when users download and open the affected file, the DDE commands can be executed.
@asyncapi/java-spring-cloud-stream-template generates a Spring Cloud Stream (SCSt) microservice. In versions prior to 0.7.0 arbitrary code injection was possible when an attacker controls the AsyncAPI document. An example is provided in GHSA-xj6r-2jpm-qvxp. There are no mitigations available and all users are advised to update.
BentoML is a Python library for building online serving systems optimized for AI apps and model inference. Prior to 1.4.37, the `docker.system_packages` field in `bentofile.yaml` accepts arbitrary strings that are interpolated directly into Dockerfile `RUN` commands without sanitization. Since `system_packages` is semantically a list of OS package names (data), users do not expect values to be interpreted as shell commands. A malicious `bentofile.yaml` achieves arbitrary command execution during `bentoml containerize` / `docker build`. Version 1.4.37 fixes the issue.
