Solspace Freeform plugin for Craft CMS 5.x is a super flexible form-building tool. An authenticated, low-privilege user (able to create/edit forms) can inject arbitrary HTML/JS into the Craft Control Panel (CP) builder and integrations views. User-controlled form labels and integration metadata are rendered with dangerouslySetInnerHTML without sanitization, leading to stored XSS that executes when any admin views the builder/integration screens. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.14.7.
Contact Form to Email 1.3.24 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts by creating forms with script tags in the form name field. Attackers can craft form names containing JavaScript code that executes when other logged-in users access the form management page, enabling session hijacking or credential theft.
WordPress Plugin WP Symposium Pro 2021.10 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts by exploiting insufficient sanitization of the forum name parameter. Attackers can submit POST requests to the admin setup page with JavaScript payloads in the wps_admin_forum_add_name parameter, which are stored and executed when the forum is accessed.
Projectsend r1295 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts by submitting crafted input in the 'name' parameter of files-edit.php. Attackers can inject JavaScript payloads through the file name field that execute in the browser when the file is viewed by other users, particularly affecting System Administrator users on the Dashboard page.
WordPress Picture Gallery 1.4.2 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts through the Edit Content URL field in the Access Control settings. Attackers can enter JavaScript payloads in the plugin options that are stored in the database and executed when the functionality is triggered, enabling session hijacking or credential theft.
WordPress Plugin Netroics Blog Posts Grid 1.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated editors to inject malicious scripts by failing to sanitize the post_title parameter. Attackers with editor privileges can inject script payloads through the testimonial title field that execute in the browsers of other users viewing the draft post, enabling cookie theft and session hijacking.
WordPress Plugin Testimonial Slider and Showcase 2.2.6 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated editors to inject malicious scripts by failing to sanitize the post_title parameter. Attackers with editor privileges can inject JavaScript payloads through the testimonial title field that execute in the browsers of users viewing the draft post, enabling cookie theft and session hijacking.
Motopress Hotel Booking Lite 4.2.4 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts by submitting payloads in accommodation type fields. Attackers can inject script tags through the title and excerpt parameters when creating accommodation types, which execute in the browser when visitors access the accommodations page.
Grav contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in shortcode-core attribute handlers where the XSS detection scan only matches payloads containing literal angle brackets, allowing shortcode parameters to bypass validation. Attackers with admin.pages permission can inject malicious JavaScript through shortcode attributes that execute in any viewer's browser, including administrators, enabling session hijacking via admin nonce theft.
An authenticated user with upload permission to a hosted repository can store content that causes arbitrary JavaScript to execute in the browser of any user who browses that repository directory via the HTML index page in Sonatype Nexus Repository versions 3.6.0 through versions before 3.92.0. This could allow the attacker to perform actions in the context of the victim's session.
Rejetto HFS 3.0.0 through 3.2.0 does not escape file names in its fallback "basic" web listing, and this listing can be forced by any browser via the ?get=basic parameter. A user with upload permission - or an anonymous user on servers with an open upload folder - can store a file whose name contains script that executes in the browser of anyone viewing the listing.
Perfect Support Ticketing & Document Management System through 1.7 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with Agent-level privileges to inject malicious payloads into the Notes field of assigned support tickets. Attackers can store malicious scripts that execute in the browser context of any user who views the affected ticket notes, including Superadmin users, enabling session hijacking or unauthorized actions on behalf of the victim.
Nagios XI versions prior to 5.7.2 are vulnerable to cross-site scripting (XSS) via the BPI (Business Process Intelligence) component’s Config Management and Edit Config page. Insufficient validation or escaping of user-supplied input may allow an attacker to inject and execute arbitrary script in the context of a victim's browser.
Milkdown before 7.21.3 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the @milkdown/preset-commonmark and @milkdown/components packages that allows attackers with document write access to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browser context of any user who opens the document or clicks a rendered link. The parseMarkdown runner stores raw URL values from the remark AST as href mark attributes without URL scheme validation, and the ineffective DOMPurify.sanitize call in edit-view.ts treats the bare URL string as a text node and returns it unchanged, allowing javascript: payloads to pass through the link-tooltip preview component and read-only mode anchor elements unmodified.
Milkdown before 7.21.3 contains a DOM cross-site scripting vulnerability in the @milkdown/plugin-emoji package that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the host application's origin by causing a victim to paste attacker-controlled content. The parseDOM.getAttrs handler stores raw innerHTML of pasted span elements with data-type="emoji" without sanitization, and the toMarkdown runner subsequently assigns this unsanitized value directly to a live DOM element's innerHTML, bypassing the DOMPurify sanitization used in the toDOM path, causing payload execution on every markdown serialization cycle.
URVE Smart Office is vulnerable to Stored XSS in report problem functionality. An attacker with a low-privileged account can upload an SVG file containing a malicious payload, which will be executed when a victim visits the URL of the uploaded resource. The resource is available to anyone without any form of authentication. This issue was fixed in version 1.1.24.
Lyrion Music Server 9.2.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers to inject malicious scripts through media file metadata tags like GENRE, ARTIST, and ALBUM. Attackers can craft files with XSS payloads in metadata tags that execute in the web interface when users view track information or play files, enabling access to management functions and settings disclosure.
Kuicms Php EE 2.0 contains a persistent cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts by submitting crafted content through the bbs reply endpoint. Attackers can send POST requests to /web/?c=bbs&a=reply with HTML and JavaScript payloads in the content parameter to execute arbitrary scripts in users' browsers.
Powie's WHOIS Domain Check 0.9.31 contains a persistent cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to inject arbitrary JavaScript by exploiting unsanitized input fields in plugin settings. Attackers can submit malicious payloads through textarea and input elements in the pwhois_settings.php configuration page to execute JavaScript in the admin context and escalate privileges.
WordPress Theme Wibar 1.1.8 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Brand component that allows authenticated users to inject malicious scripts by manipulating the Logo URL parameter. Attackers with editor, administrator, contributor, or author privileges can inject base64-encoded script payloads through the ftc_brand_url input field to execute arbitrary JavaScript when users visit the brand page.
Nagios Log Server versions prior to 2.1.6 contain cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities via the web interface on the Create User, Edit User, and Manage Host Lists pages. Insufficient validation or escaping of user-supplied input may allow an attacker to inject and execute arbitrary script in the context of a victim's browser.

AVideo (Meet plugin) through commit e8d6119f3cb1b849149906efeb0a41fc024f59f8 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Meet plugin's getMeetInfo.json.php endpoint. When a participant joins a public meeting, the raw HTTP User-Agent header is stored (meet_join_log.user_agent) without sanitization (bypassing AVideo's setter-level xss_esc() layer) and later echoed without output encoding (no htmlspecialchars()) in the Participants management panel, which is accessible to the meeting host and site administrators. An anonymous, unauthenticated attacker can join any public meeting while supplying a User-Agent header containing an HTML/JavaScript payload; the payload is persisted and executes in the privileged, authenticated browser session of the meeting host or a site administrator when they open the participant list. The issue was unpatched at the time of the report.
RAGFlow before 0.26.3 stores an agent pipeline (DSL) node name without sanitization: the agent update endpoint normalizes the submitted DSL via normalize_dsl, which only performs JSON serialization validation and preserves the node name verbatim. The dataflow-result web UI then renders that name into the "Rerun from current step" confirmation modal via dangerouslySetInnerHTML, and the i18next configuration sets escapeValue:false, so the value is inserted into the DOM without HTML encoding. An authenticated workspace user who can create or edit an agent can inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the session of another workspace member who opens the dataflow result and clicks rerun, enabling session/token theft and account takeover across the user trust boundary.
Hugo is a static site generator. From 0.60.0 until 0.163.3, Hugo's default code-block renderer wrote the Markdown code-fence language or info-string into the code class="language-…" data-lang="…" wrapper without HTML escaping. A fence info-string containing a quote and a script payload breaks out of the attribute and injects a live script element. This issue is fixed in 0.163.3.
The Core Config Manager (CCM) in Nagios XI versions prior to CCM 3.0.8 / Nagios XI 5.7.5 contains multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the overlay UI elements and the Notification/Check Period pages. Attackers with admin credentials can inject XSS payloads in the Description field of the Add banner functionality, which execute for all website visitors when they access the home page.
Cotonti Siena 0.9.26 and earlier contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated users with PFS access to inject arbitrary script payloads by supplying malicious HTML in the ntitle parameter processed through the TXT filter in pfs.main.php. Attackers can create a folder with a crafted title containing script tags that are stored unescaped in the database and execute in the browser of any user who views the folder listing, including administrators.
WordPress Plugin Buddypress 6.2.0 contains a persistent cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with moderator privileges to inject malicious script code through the figure parameter in wp:html blocks. Attackers can inject iframe elements with event handlers like onload that execute when administrators or privileged users preview or view the affected page content, enabling session hijacking and persistent phishing attacks.
NewsLister contains an authenticated persistent cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated administrators to inject malicious scripts through the title parameter in the news addition interface. Attackers can inject JavaScript payloads via the title field in the admin panel that execute when news items are viewed by other users.

Ellucian Banner Self-Service before the April T2 release (2025-04-23) contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the course search functionality that allows authenticated Banner ERP users to inject malicious payloads into faculty and course fields by exploiting missing HTML encoding during DOM insertion. An attacker with Banner ERP write access can store malicious JavaScript in fields such as faculty displayName, emailAddress, subjectDescription, or courseTitle; these values are subsequently served unsanitized by the unauthenticated getFacultyMeetingTimes API endpoint, causing arbitrary script execution in the browser of any user who views the affected course's meeting times.
n8n before 1.123.24, 2.10.4, and 2.12.0 (across its 1.x and 2.x branches) contains cross-site scripting and open redirect vulnerabilities in the Form Node due to unsanitized HTML description fields and overly permissive iframe sandbox policies. Authenticated users with workflow creation permissions can inject malicious scripts or redirect parameters to perform stored XSS attacks or phishing redirects against end users.
Queue Management System 4.0.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated administrators to inject malicious scripts through user creation fields. Attackers can insert JavaScript payloads in the First Name, Last Name, and Email fields during user creation, which execute when viewing the User List page.
NocoDB is software for building databases as spreadsheets. Prior to 2026.05.1, with NC_SECURE_ATTACHMENTS=true, an authenticated uploader could deliver .html or .svg attachments that the browser rendered inline from the NocoDB origin instead of forcing a download. The signed attachment handler stored response-header overrides under PascalCase keys (ResponseContentDisposition, ResponseContentType) while the controller that served the file read them under lowercase-hyphen names (response-content-disposition). The mismatch dropped the Content-Disposition: attachment header, leaving Express to auto-render .html, .svg, and similar inline. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.05.1.
Simple Link Directory through 9.0.4 echoes embed shortcode attributes into HTML data attributes without escaping in the embedder template. Attackers with contributor access can craft a shortcode attribute that injects an event handler executing in a viewer's browser.
Yoast Duplicate Post through 4.6 inserts an unescaped post title and permalink into the Classic Editor scheduled republish notice. Attackers can schedule a republish copy with a crafted title to execute script when an administrator views the resulting notice.
Simple Link Directory through 9.0.4 interpolates the sld_no_results_found option into a JavaScript string literal without encoding. Because sanitize_text_field leaves quotes intact, a stored payload breaks out of the string and runs script for every page visitor.
Lyrion Music Server 9.2.0 contains an unauthenticated stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the log viewer that allows attackers to inject malicious scripts by exploiting unescaped template variables. Attackers can inject XSS payloads through search, lines, and path query parameters or by crafting values that get logged such as URLs, User-Agent headers, stream titles, or player names to execute arbitrary scripts in users' browsers.
wger is a free, open-source workout and fitness manager. In versions 2.5 and below, the attribution_link property in AbstractLicenseModel constructs HTML by directly interpolating user-controlled license fields (such as license_author) without escaping, and templates render the result using Django's |safe filter. An authenticated user can create an ingredient with a malicious license_author value containing JavaScript, which executes in the browser of any visitor viewing the ingredient page, resulting in stored XSS. This issue has been fixed in version 2.5.
Carbon Forum 5.9.0 contains a persistent cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated administrators to inject malicious JavaScript code through the Forum Name field in dashboard settings. Attackers with admin privileges can store JavaScript payloads in the Forum Name field that execute in the browsers of all users visiting the forum, enabling session hijacking and data theft.
