Verba (goldenverba) Server-Side Request Forgery via /api/connect and Same-Origin Middleware Bypass

Verba RAG application version 2.1.3 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability combined with a same-origin middleware bypass that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to make the server issue arbitrary HTTP requests by supplying a crafted Origin header and attacker-controlled host and port values. Attackers can bypass the localhost origin check in the API middleware by sending any Origin value prefixed with ' regardless of port, then submit arbitrary host and port parameters to the /api/connect endpoint to cause the server to issue outbound GET requests to attacker-controlled infrastructure.

Axios: shouldBypassProxy does not recognize IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses, allowing NO_PROXY bypass (incomplete fix for CVE-2025-62718)

Axios is a promise based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js. Prior to 0.32.0 and 1.16.0, Axios does not normalise IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses. When NO_PROXY lists an IPv4 address such as 127.0.0.1 or 169.254.169.254, a request URL using the IPv4-mapped IPv6 form (::ffff:7f00:1, ::ffff:a9fe:a9fe) still routes through the configured proxy. Node.js resolves these addresses to the underlying IPv4 host, so the request reaches the internal service via the proxy rather than being blocked. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.32.0 and 1.16.0.

text-generation-inference 3.3.7 SSRF via fetch_image in multimodal chat completions

text-generation-inference through 3.3.7 contains a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the OpenAI-compatible multimodal chat completions endpoint that allows unauthenticated network attackers to coerce the server into issuing arbitrary HTTP GET requests by supplying a crafted image_url value in chat message content. The fetch_image function in router/src/validation.rs performs no validation of private, loopback, link-local, or cloud metadata target addresses, and the reqwest HTTP client follows redirects by default, enabling attackers to bypass scheme checks via redirect chains to reach internal services and cloud instance-metadata endpoints for internal port scanning and credential theft.

Crawl4AI unauthenticated SSRF in Docker streaming crawl endpoint

Crawl4AI is an open-source LLM-friendly web crawler and scraper. Prior to 0.9.0, the Docker API server applied its SSRF destination check on the non-streaming /crawl path but not on the streaming path. handle_stream_crawl_request passed seed URLs straight to the crawler with no destination validation, allowing a remote unauthenticated client to call POST /crawl/stream or POST /crawl with crawler_config.stream=true with a URL pointing at an internal, private, or link-local address; the server fetched it and streamed the response body back. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.0.

Terrascan v1.18.3 and prior are vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the remote_url parameter in the remote directory scan endpoint (POST /v1/{iac}/{iacVersion}/{cloud}/remote/dir/scan) when running in server mode. An unauthenticated remote attacker can supply an attacker-controlled HTTP URL as remote_url with remote_type set to "http". The URL is passed directly to hashicorp/go-getter (v1.7.5) without validation. Go-getter's HttpGetter supports the X-Terraform-Get response header, allowing the attacker's server to redirect the download to a file:// URL, enabling local file read. Additionally, HttpGetter has Netrc set to true, causing it to read ~/.netrc and send stored credentials to attacker-controlled hostnames. This affects deployments running terrascan in server mode (terrascan server), which binds to 0.0.0.0 with no authentication. Note: Terrascan was archived in August 2023 and no patch will be released.

Terrascan v1.18.3 and prior are vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via external URL resolution in uploaded IaC templates when running in server mode. When Terrascan parses uploaded ARM templates or CloudFormation templates, it resolves external URLs referenced within those templates via hashicorp/go-getter with all default detectors enabled, including FileDetector. An unauthenticated remote attacker can upload an ARM template containing a templateLink.uri or parametersLink.uri field, or a CloudFormation template containing an AWS::CloudFormation::Stack TemplateURL field, pointing to an attacker-controlled URL. Terrascan will fetch the attacker-controlled URL server-side. Unlike SSRF via the remote scan endpoint, file:// URLs are directly usable without requiring an X-Terraform-Get redirect, enabling local file read. This affects deployments running terrascan in server mode (terrascan server), which binds to 0.0.0.0 with no authentication. Note: Terrascan was archived in August 2023 and no patch will be released.

Firecrawl Playwright Service SSRF Protection Bypass via Missing Post-Redirect Validation

Firecrawl version 2.8.0 and prior contain a server-side request forgery (SSRF) protection bypass vulnerability in the Playwright scraping service where network policy validation is applied only to the initial user-supplied URL and not to subsequent redirect destinations. Attackers can supply an externally valid URL that passes validation and returns an HTTP redirect to an internal or restricted resource, allowing the browser to follow the redirect and fetch the final destination without revalidation, thereby gaining access to internal network services and sensitive endpoints. This issue is distinct from CVE-2024-56800, which describes redirect-based SSRF generally. This vulnerability specifically arises from a post-redirect enforcement gap in implemented SSRF protections, where validation is applied only to the initial request and not to the final redirected destination.

Postiz: Unauthenticated Full-Read SSRF via /public/stream Endpoint with Trivially Bypassable Extension Check

Postiz is an AI social media scheduling tool. Prior to version 2.21.3, the GET /public/stream endpoint in PublicController accepts a user-supplied url query parameter and proxies the full HTTP response back to the caller. AVideo vulnerable to unauthenticated SSRF via HTTP redirect bypass in LiveLinks proxy

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 25.0 and below, the plugin/LiveLinks/proxy.php endpoint validates user-supplied URLs against internal/private networks using isSSRFSafeURL(), but only checks the initial URL. When the initial URL responds with an HTTP redirect (Location header), the redirect target is fetched via fakeBrowser() without re-validation, allowing an attacker to reach internal services (cloud metadata, RFC1918 addresses) through an attacker-controlled redirect. AVideo has a SSRF Protection Bypass via IPv4-Mapped IPv6 Addresses in Unauthenticated LiveLinks Proxy

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `isSSRFSafeURL()` function in AVideo can be bypassed using IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses (`::ffff:x.x.x.x`). The unauthenticated `plugin/LiveLinks/proxy.php` endpoint uses this function to validate URLs before fetching them with curl, but the IPv4-mapped IPv6 prefix passes all checks, allowing an attacker to access cloud metadata services, internal networks, and localhost services. Redirect-based SSRF leading to internal network access in curl_cffi (with TLS impersonation bypass)

curl_cffi is the a Python binding for curl. Prior to 0.15.0, curl_cffi does not restrict requests to internal IP ranges, and follows redirects automatically via the underlying libcurl. Because of this, an attacker-controlled URL can redirect requests to internal services such as cloud metadata endpoints. In addition, curl_cffi’s TLS impersonation feature can make these requests appear as legitimate browser traffic, which may bypass certain network controls. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.15.0.

Mailpit is Vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via Link Check API

Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. Prior to version 1.29.2, the Link Check API (/api/v1/message/{ID}/link-check) is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). The server performs HTTP HEAD requests to every URL found in an email without validating target hosts or filtering private/internal IP addresses. The response returns status codes and status text per link, making this a non-blind SSRF. In the default configuration (no authentication on SMTP or API), this is fully exploitable remotely with zero user interaction. This is the same class of vulnerability that was fixed in the HTML Check API (CVE-2026-23845 / GHSA-6jxm-fv7w-rw5j) and the screenshot proxy (CVE-2026-21859 / GHSA-8v65-47jx-7mfr), but the Link Check code path was not included in either fix. changedetection.io Vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via Watch URLs

changedetection.io is a free open source web page change detection tool. In versions prior to 0.54.1, changedetection.io is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) because the URL validation function `is_safe_valid_url()` does not validate the resolved IP address of watch URLs against private, loopback, or link-local address ranges. An authenticated user (or any user when no password is configured, which is the default) can add a watch for internal network URLs. The application fetches these URLs server-side, stores the response content, and makes it viewable through the web UI — enabling full data exfiltration from internal services. Version 0.54.1 contains a fix for the issue.

Server-Side Request Forgery in BedrockProxyChatModel via Unvalidated Media URL Fetching

Spring AI's spring-ai-bedrock-converse contains a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in BedrockProxyChatModel when processing multimodal messages that include user-supplied media URLs. Insufficient validation of those URLs allows an attacker to induce the server to issue HTTP requests to unintended internal or external destinations. This issue affects Spring AI: from 1.0.0 before 1.0.5, from 1.1.0 before 1.1.4.

External Control of File Name or Path and Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in Kibana Google Gemini Connector

External Control of File Name or Path (CWE-73) combined with Server-Side Request Forgery (CWE-918) can allow an attacker to cause arbitrary file disclosure through a specially crafted credentials JSON payload in the Google Gemini connector configuration. This requires an attacker to have authenticated access with privileges sufficient to create or modify connectors (Alerts & Connectors: All). The server processes a configuration without proper validation, allowing for arbitrary network requests and for arbitrary file reads.

Python-kdcproxy: unauthenticated ssrf via realm‑controlled dns srv

If kdcproxy receives a request for a realm which does not have server addresses defined in its configuration, by default, it will query SRV records in the DNS zone matching the requested realm name. This creates a server-side request forgery vulnerability, since an attacker could send a request for a realm matching a DNS zone where they created SRV records pointing to arbitrary ports and hostnames (which may resolve to loopback or internal IP addresses). This vulnerability can be exploited to probe internal network topology and firewall rules, perform port scanning, and exfiltrate data. Deployments where the "use_dns" setting is explicitly set to false are not affected.

In Eclipse BaSyx Java Server SDK versions prior to 2.0.0-milestone-10, the Operation Delegation feature fails to validate the destination URI of delegated requests. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this design flaw to force the BaSyx server to execute blind HTTP POST requests to arbitrary internal or external targets. This allows an attacker to bypass network segmentation and pivot into isolated internal IT/OT infrastructure or target Cloud Metadata services (IMDS).

Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server – Server Side Request Forgery

The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination. (CWE-918)   Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server versions before 10.2.0.0 and 9.3.0.9, including 8.3.x, do not validate the Host header of incoming HTTP/HTTPS requests.   By providing URLs to unexpected hosts or ports, attackers can make it appear that the server is sending the request, possibly bypassing access controls such as firewalls that prevent the attackers from accessing the URLs directly. The server can be used as a proxy to conduct port scanning of hosts in internal networks, use other URLs such as that can access documents on the system (using file://), or use other protocols such as gopher:// or tftp://, which may provide greater control over the contents of requests.

LMDeploy Server-Side Request Forgery via HTTP Redirect Bypass

LMDeploy through 0.14.0, fixed in commit 03c3130, contains a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the _load_http_url function within the connection.py media handler, where the private-IP guard validates only the original URL without re-validating hosts after HTTP redirects. An unauthenticated attacker can submit a crafted image_url to the chat completions endpoint pointing to an attacker-controlled host that returns a redirect to a private IP or cloud-metadata endpoint, causing the server to follow the redirect and expose internal service content through the model pipeline.

Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) SSRF via console_release Directory

Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host prior to version 25.1.102 and Application prior to version 25.1.1413 (VA/SaaS deployments) contain a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability. The `console_release` directory is reachable from the internet without any authentication. Inside that directory are dozens of PHP scripts that build URLs from user‑controlled values and then invoke either 'curl_exec()` or `file_get_contents()` without proper validation. Although many files attempt to mitigate SSRF by calling `filter_var', the checks are incomplete. Because the endpoint is unauthenticated, any remote attacker can supply a hostname and cause the server to issue requests to internal resources. This enables internal network reconnaissance, potential pivoting, or data exfiltration. This vulnerability has been confirmed to be remediated, but it is unclear as to when the patch was introduced.
