Underflow in PHP-FPM can lead to RCE

In PHP versions 7.1.x below 7.1.33, 7.2.x below 7.2.24 and 7.3.x below 7.3.11 in certain configurations of FPM setup it is possible to cause FPM module to write past allocated buffers into the space reserved for FCGI protocol data, thus opening the possibility of remote code execution.

Stack buffer overflow in pjproject

PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. Versions 2.12 and prior contain a stack buffer overflow vulnerability that affects PJSUA2 users or users that call the API `pjmedia_sdp_print(), pjmedia_sdp_media_print()`. Applications that do not use PJSUA2 and do not directly call `pjmedia_sdp_print()` or `pjmedia_sdp_media_print()` should not be affected. A patch is available on the `master` branch of the `pjsip/pjproject` GitHub repository. There are currently no known workarounds.

firmware: thead: Fix buffer overflow and use standard endian macros

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: thead: Fix buffer overflow and use standard endian macros Addresses two issues in the TH1520 AON firmware protocol driver: 1. Fix a potential buffer overflow where the code used unsafe pointer arithmetic to access the 'mode' field through the 'resource' pointer with an offset. This was flagged by Smatch static checker as: "buffer overflow 'data' 2 <= 3" 2. Replace custom RPC_SET_BE* and RPC_GET_BE* macros with standard kernel endianness conversion macros (cpu_to_be16, etc.) for better portability and maintainability. The functionality was re-tested with the GPU power-up sequence, confirming the GPU powers up correctly and the driver probes successfully. usb: gadget: f_uac1_legacy: validate control request size

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_uac1_legacy: validate control request size f_audio_complete() copies req->length bytes into a 4-byte stack variable: u32 data = 0; memcpy(&data, req->buf, req->length); req->length is derived from the host-controlled USB request path, which can lead to a stack out-of-bounds write. Validate req->actual against the expected payload size for the supported control selectors and decode only the expected amount of data. This avoids copying a host-influenced length into a fixed-size stack object.

fs/ntfs3: validate rec->used in journal-replay file record check

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: validate rec->used in journal-replay file record check check_file_record() validates rec->total against the record size but never validates rec->used. The do_action() journal-replay handlers read rec->used from disk and use it to compute memmove lengths: DeleteAttribute: memmove(attr, ..., used - asize - roff) CreateAttribute: memmove(..., attr, used - roff) change_attr_size: memmove(..., used - PtrOffset(rec, next)) When rec->used is smaller than the offset of a validated attribute, or larger than the record size, these subtractions can underflow allowing us to copy huge amounts of memory in to a 4kb buffer, generally considered a bad idea overall. This requires a corrupted filesystem, which isn't a threat model the kernel really needs to worry about, but checking for such an obvious out-of-bounds value is good to keep things robust, especially on journal replay Fix this up by bounding rec->used correctly. This is much like commit b2bc7c44ed17 ("fs/ntfs3: Fix slab-out-of-bounds read in DeleteIndexEntryRoot") which checked different values in this same switch statement.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: ccp: Don't attempt to copy ID to userspace if PSP command failed When retrieving the ID for the CPU, don't attempt to copy the ID blob to userspace if the firmware command failed. Buffer overflow in drivers/xen/sys-hypervisor.c

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Buffer overflow in drivers/xen/sys-hypervisor.c The build id returned by HYPERVISOR_xen_version(XENVER_build_id) is neither NUL terminated nor a string. The first causes a buffer overflow as sprintf in buildid_show will read and copy till it finds a NUL. 00000000 f4 91 51 f4 dd 38 9e 9d 65 47 52 eb 10 71 db 50 |..Q..8..eGR..q.P| 00000010 b9 a8 01 42 6f 2e 32 |...Bo.2| 00000017 So use a memcpy instead of sprintf to have the correct value: 00000000 f4 91 51 f4 dd 00 9e 9d 65 47 52 eb 10 71 db 50 |..Q.....eGR..q.P| 00000010 b9 a8 01 42 |...B| 00000014 (the above have a hack to embed a zero inside and check it's returned correctly). This is XSA-485 / CVE-2026-31786

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Netatalk. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the copyapplfile function. When parsing the len element, the process does not properly validate the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a fixed-length stack-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-15869.
