An issue was discovered in savestruct_internal.c in FreedroidRPG 1.0rc2. Saved game files are composed of Lua scripts that recover a game's state. A file can be modified to put any Lua code inside, leading to arbitrary code execution while loading.
In Tensorflow before version 2.3.1, the `RaggedCountSparseOutput` implementation does not validate that the input arguments form a valid ragged tensor. In particular, there is no validation that the values in the `splits` tensor generate a valid partitioning of the `values` tensor. Hence, the code is prone to heap buffer overflow. If `split_values` does not end with a value at least `num_values` then the `while` loop condition will trigger a read outside of the bounds of `split_values` once `batch_idx` grows too large. The issue is patched in commit 3cbb917b4714766030b28eba9fb41bb97ce9ee02 and is released in TensorFlow version 2.3.1.
Irssi before 0.8.15, when SSL is used, does not verify that the server hostname matches a domain name in the subject's Common Name (CN) field or a Subject Alternative Name field of the X.509 certificate, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof IRC servers via an arbitrary certificate.
phpThumb.php in phpThumb() 1.7.9 and possibly other versions, when ImageMagick is installed, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via the fltr[] parameter, as discovered in the wild in April 2010. NOTE: the provenance of this information is unknown; the details are obtained solely from third party information.
A Remote Code Execution vulnerability has been found in the Horde_Image library when using the "Im" backend that utilizes ImageMagick's "convert" utility. It's not exploitable through any Horde application, because the code path to the vulnerability is not used by any Horde code. Custom applications using the Horde_Image library might be affected. This vulnerability affects all versions of Horde_Image from 2.0.0 to 2.5.1, and is fixed in 2.5.2. The problem is missing input validation of the index field in _raw() during construction of an ImageMagick command line.
PyGIT.py in the Trac Git plugin (trac-git) before 0.0.20080710-3+lenny1 and before 0.0.20090320-1 on Debian GNU/Linux, when enabled in Trac, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in a crafted HTTP query that is used to generate a certain git command.
A prototype pollution vulnerability has been found in `object-path` <= 0.11.4 affecting the `set()` method. The vulnerability is limited to the `includeInheritedProps` mode (if version >= 0.11.0 is used), which has to be explicitly enabled by creating a new instance of `object-path` and setting the option `includeInheritedProps: true`, or by using the default `withInheritedProps` instance. The default operating mode is not affected by the vulnerability if version >= 0.11.0 is used. Any usage of `set()` in versions < 0.11.0 is vulnerable. The issue is fixed in object-path version 0.11.5 As a workaround, don't use the `includeInheritedProps: true` options or the `withInheritedProps` instance if using a version >= 0.11.0.
In TYPO3 CMS greater than or equal to 9.0.0 and less than 9.5.20, and greater than or equal to 10.0.0 and less than 10.4.6, in a case where an attacker manages to generate a valid cryptographic message authentication code (HMAC-SHA1) - either by using a different existing vulnerability or in case the internal encryptionKey was exposed - it is possible to retrieve arbitrary files of a TYPO3 installation. This includes the possibility to fetch typo3conf/LocalConfiguration.php, which again contains the encryptionKey as well as credentials of the database management system being used. In case a database server is directly accessible either via internet or in a shared hosting network, this allows the ability to completely retrieve, manipulate or delete database contents. This includes creating an administration user account - which can be used to trigger remote code execution by injecting custom extensions. This has been patched in versions 9.5.20 and 10.4.6.
Multiple PHP remote file inclusion vulnerabilities in SweetRice 0.5.4, 0.5.3, and earlier allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the root_dir parameter to (1) _plugin/subscriber/inc/post.php and (2) as/lib/news_modify.php.
The vio_verify_callback function in viosslfactories.c in MySQL 5.0.x before 5.0.88 and 5.1.x before 5.1.41, when OpenSSL is used, accepts a value of zero for the depth of X.509 certificates, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof arbitrary SSL-based MySQL servers via a crafted certificate, as demonstrated by a certificate presented by a server linked against the yaSSL library.
