Squid is a caching proxy for the Web. Due to an Improper Validation of Specified Index bug, Squid versions 3.3.0.1 through 5.9 and 6.0 prior to 6.4 compiled using `--with-openssl` are vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack against SSL Certificate validation. This problem allows a remote server to perform Denial of Service against Squid Proxy by initiating a TLS Handshake with a specially crafted SSL Certificate in a server certificate chain. This attack is limited to HTTPS and SSL-Bump. This bug is fixed in Squid version 6.4. In addition, patches addressing this problem for the stable releases can be found in Squid's patch archives. Those who you use a prepackaged version of Squid should refer to the package vendor for availability information on updated packages.

A flaw was found in samba. Spaces used in a string around a domain name (DN), while supposed to be ignored, can cause invalid DN strings with spaces to instead write a zero-byte into out-of-bounds memory, resulting in a crash. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
A remote, unauthenticated attacker can send a specific crafted HTTP or HTTPS requests causing a buffer over-read resulting in a crash of the webserver of the CODESYS Control runtime system.
An issue was discovered in HCC Embedded NicheStack IPv4 4.1. The dnc_copy_in routine for parsing DNS domain names does not check whether a domain name compression pointer is pointing within the bounds of the packet (e.g., forward compression pointer jumps are allowed), which leads to an Out-of-bounds Read, and a Denial-of-Service as a consequence.
The function CheckMic() in the Realtek RTL8195A Wi-Fi Module prior to versions released in April 2020 (up to and excluding 2.08) does not validate the size parameter for an internal function, _rt_md5_hmac_veneer() or _rt_hmac_sha1_veneer(), resulting in a stack buffer over-read which can be exploited for denial of service. An attacker can impersonate an Access Point and attack a vulnerable Wi-Fi client, by injecting a crafted packet into the WPA2 handshake. The attacker does not need to know the network's PSK.

The DNS feature in InterNiche NicheStack TCP/IP 4.0.1 is affected by: Out-of-bounds Read. The impact is: a denial of service (remote). The component is: DNS response processing in function: dns_upcall(). The attack vector is: a specific DNS response packet. The code does not check whether the number of queries/responses specified in the DNS packet header corresponds to the query/response data available in the DNS packet.
In TensorFlow release candidate versions 2.4.0rc*, the general implementation for matching filesystem paths to globbing pattern is vulnerable to an access out of bounds of the array holding the directories. There are multiple invariants and preconditions that are assumed by the parallel implementation of GetMatchingPaths but are not verified by the PRs introducing it (#40861 and #44310). Thus, we are completely rewriting the implementation to fully specify and validate these. This is patched in version 2.4.0. This issue only impacts master branch and the release candidates for TF version 2.4. The final release of the 2.4 release will be patched.

An issue was discovered in picoTCP and picoTCP-NG through 1.7.0. The DNS domain name record decompression functionality in pico_dns_decompress_name() in pico_dns_common.c does not validate the compression pointer offset values with respect to the actual data present in a DNS response packet, causing out-of-bounds reads that lead to Denial-of-Service.

An issue was discovered in the yh_create_session() function of yubihsm-shell through 2.0.2. The function does not explicitly check the returned session id from the device. An invalid session id would lead to out-of-bounds read and write operations in the session array. This could be used by an attacker to cause a denial of service attack.
Huawei DP300 V500R002C00; RP200 V500R002C00; V600R006C00; TE30 V100R001C10; V500R002C00; V600R006C00; TE40 V500R002C00; V600R006C00; TE50 V500R002C00; V600R006C00; TE60 V100R001C10; V500R002C00; V600R006C00 have an out-of-bounds read vulnerability. An unauthenticated, remote attacker has to control the peer device and craft the Signalling Connection Control Part (SCCP) messages to the target devices. Due to insufficient input validation of some values in the messages, successful exploit will cause out-of-bounds read and some services abnormal.
An issue was discovered in picoTCP and picoTCP-NG through 1.7.0. The code that processes DNS responses in pico_mdns_handle_data_as_answers_generic() in pico_mdns.c does not check whether the number of answers/responses specified in a DNS packet header corresponds to the response data available in the packet, leading to an out-of-bounds read, invalid pointer dereference, and Denial-of-Service.
A vulnerability in the data plane microcode of Lightspeed-Plus line cards for Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the line card to reset. This vulnerability is due to the incorrect handling of malformed packets that are received on the Lightspeed-Plus line cards. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted IPv4 or IPv6 packet through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the Lightspeed-Plus line card to reset, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition for any traffic that traverses that line card.

SCCPX module in Huawei DP300 V500R002C00; RP200 V500R002C00; V600R006C00; TE30 V100R001C10; V500R002C00; V600R006C00; TE40 V500R002C00; V600R006C00; TE50 V500R002C00; V600R006C00; TE60 V100R001C10; V500R002C00; V600R006C00 has an out-of-bounds read vulnerability. An unauthenticated, remote attacker crafts malformed packets with specific parameter to the affected products. Due to insufficient validation of packets, successful exploitation may impact availability of product service.
The File_read_line function in epan/wslua/wslua_file.c in Wireshark through 2.2.11 does not properly strip '\n' characters, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (buffer underflow and application crash) via a crafted packet that triggers the attempted processing of an empty line.
Huawei DP300 V500R002C00, RP200 V500R002C00, V600R006C00, TE30 V100R001C10, V500R002C00, V600R006C00, TE40 V500R002C00, V600R006C00, TE50 V500R002C00, V600R006C00, TE60 V100R001C01, V100R001C10, V500R002C00, V600R006C00 have an out-of-bound read vulnerability. A remote attacker send specially crafted Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) messages to the affected products. An issue was discovered in FNET through 4.6.4. The code for processing the hop-by-hop header (in the IPv6 extension headers) doesn't check for a valid length of an extension header, and therefore an out-of-bounds read can occur in _fnet_ip6_ext_header_handler_options in fnet_ip6.c, leading to Denial-of-Service.
Huawei NIP6800 versions V500R001C30, V500R001C60SPC500, and V500R005C00; and Secospace USG6600 and USG9500 versions V500R001C30SPC200, V500R001C30SPC600, V500R001C60SPC500, and V500R005C00 have an input validation vulnerability where the IPSec module does not validate a field in a specific message. Attackers can send specific message to cause out-of-bound read, compromising normal service.
