Reflected cross-site scripting issue in Datasette

Datasette is an open source multi-tool for exploring and publishing data. The `?_trace=1` debugging feature in Datasette does not correctly escape generated HTML, resulting in a [reflected cross-site scripting](https://owasp.org/www-community/attacks/xss/#reflected-xss-attacks) vulnerability. This vulnerability is particularly relevant if your Datasette installation includes authenticated features using plugins such as [datasette-auth-passwords](https://datasette.io/plugins/datasette-auth-passwords) as an attacker could use the vulnerability to access protected data. Datasette 0.57 and 0.56.1 both include patches for this issue. If you run Datasette behind a proxy you can workaround this issue by rejecting any incoming requests with `?_trace=` or `&_trace=` in their query string parameters.

All-In-One Security (AIOS) <= 5.4.7 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via REST API Request Path

The All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to and including 5.4.7. This is due to insufficient input sanitization in the get_rest_route() function and missing output escaping in the column_default() method of the debug log list table. When the 'Disable REST API for non-logged in users' feature (aiowps_disallow_unauthorized_rest_requests) is enabled alongside debug logging (aiowps_enable_debug), an unauthenticated attacker can embed arbitrary HTML or JavaScript in the REST request path. The path is retrieved via urldecode($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']), which decodes URL-encoded payloads into literal HTML characters. This decoded, unsanitized value is concatenated directly into a debug log message and stored in the database. When an administrator navigates to the AIOS Dashboard Debug Logs page, the column_default() method returns the raw database value without escaping, and the parent list table echoes it directly, causing JavaScript execution in the administrator's browser session. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when an administrator views the debug log page, enabling nonce theft, privileged AJAX/REST actions, and potential full site compromise.

SlimStat Analytics <= 5.4.11 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via User-Agent Header

The SlimStat Analytics plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'User-Agent' header in all versions up to, and including, 5.4.11 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The show_complete_user_agent_tooltip setting must be explicitly enabled by an administrator (disabled by default) for the stored payload to be rendered and executed.

SUMO Reward Points for WooCommerce <= 32.7.0 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'reason' Parameter

The SUMO Reward Points plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the REST API endpoint `/wp-json/wc-srp/v1/earning` in versions up to, and including, 32.7.0. This is due to the `user_has_cap` filter in the `SRP_REST_Earning_Controller` class unconditionally granting the custom `rs_earning_read` capability to all users — including unauthenticated visitors — combined with missing sanitization of the `reason` parameter in the `create_items()` function and missing output escaping in the `column_default()` method of `SRP_Master_Log`. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into the reward points log that will execute whenever an administrator accesses the Master Log or User Reward Points admin pages.

Custom Payment Gateways for WooCommerce <= 2.1.0 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'alg_wc_cpg_input_fields' Parameter

The Custom Payment Gateways for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'alg_wc_cpg_input_fields' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This vulnerability is exploitable by unauthenticated guest users submitting a crafted checkout POST request, requiring no custom input fields to be configured in the plugin.

FormCraft <= 3.9.14 - Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Matrix Field Sub-Parameters

The FormCraft plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the '[parameter name]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.9.14 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The exploit chain combines a server-side gap — where composite matrix sub-field keys such as field2_0 and field2_1 are never passed through the sanitization loop and are stored raw via $wpdb->insert() — with a client-side gap where DOMPurify is only invoked when typeof field.value === 'string', but matrix values arrive from the server as arrays, bypassing the check before being mapped to strings and injected into the DOM. Additionally, the same sink is reachable via a second attack vector: array-typed field values are passed through htmlentities() on submission but later reversed by html_entity_decode() at formcraft-main.php:2608 and :2122, restoring the malicious payload before storage and rendering.
