Improper Neutralization of Special Elements Used in a Template Engine vulnerability in Saso Nikolov Event Tickets with Ticket Scanner allows Server Side Include (SSI) Injection. This issue affects Event Tickets with Ticket Scanner: from n/a through 2.3.11.
Cachet, the open-source status page system. Prior to the 2.4 branch, a template functionality which allows users to create templates allows them to execute any code on the server during the bad filtration and old twig version. Commit 6fb043e109d2a262ce3974e863c54e9e5f5e0587 of the 2.4 branch contains a patch for this issue.
An issue in HummerRisk HummerRisk v.1.10 thru 1.4.1 allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted request to the service/LicenseService component.
Improper Control of Generation of Code ('Code Injection') vulnerability in BinaryStash WP Booklet. This issue affects WP Booklet: from n/a through 2.1.8.
Modelina is a library for generating data models based on inputs such as AsyncAPI, OpenAPI, or JSON Schema documents. Versions prior to 1.0.0 are vulnerable to Code injection. This issue affects anyone who is using the default presets and/or does not handle the functionality themself. This issue has been partially mitigated in version 1.0.0, with the maintainer's GitHub Security Advisory (GHSA) noting "It is impossible to fully guard against this, because users have access to the original raw information. However, as of version 1, if you only access the constrained models, you will not encounter this issue. Further similar situations are NOT seen as a security issue, but intended behavior." The suggested workaround from the maintainers is "Fully custom presets that change the entire rendering process which can then escape the user input."
The Slider Revolution WordPress plugin through 6.6.12 does not check for valid image files upon import, leading to an arbitrary file upload which may be escalated to Remote Code Execution in some server configurations.
This High severity RCE (Remote Code Execution) vulnerability was introduced in version 8.0.0 of Bitbucket Data Center and Server. An issue was discovered in Nokia NetAct before 22 FP2211. On the Working Set Manager page, users can create a Working Set with a name that has a client-side template injection payload. Input validation is missing during creation of the working set. For an external attacker, it is very difficult to exploit this, because a few dynamically created parameters such as Jsession-id, a CSRF token, and an Nxsrf token would be needed. The attack can realistically only be performed by an internal user.
Discord Recon Server is a bot that allows one to do one's reconnaissance process from one's Discord. A vulnerability in Discord Recon Server prior to 0.0.3 could be exploited to read internal files from the system and write files into the system resulting in remote code execution. This issue has been fixed in version 0.0.3. As a workaround, one may copy the code from `assets/CommandInjection.py` in the Discord Recon Server code repository and overwrite vulnerable code from one's own Discord Recon Server implementation with code that contains the patch.
Server-side Template Injection (SSTI) in Shopware 6 (<= v6.4.20.0, v6.5.0.0-rc1 <= v6.5.0.0-rc4), affecting both shopware/core and shopware/platform GitHub repositories, allows remote attackers with access to a Twig environment without the Sandbox extension to bypass the validation checks in `Shopware\Core\Framework\Adapter\Twig\SecurityExtension` and call any arbitrary PHP function and thus execute arbitrary code/commands via usage of fully-qualified names, supplied as array of strings, when referencing callables. Users are advised to upgrade to v6.4.20.1 to resolve this issue. This is a bypass of CVE-2023-22731.
SOY CMS v3.0.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a <?php substring in the second text box. NOTE: the vendor indicates that there was an assumption that the content is "made editable on its own.
Fides is an open-source privacy engineering platform for managing the fulfillment of data privacy requests in a runtime environment, and the enforcement of privacy regulations in code. The Fides webserver API allows custom integrations to be uploaded as a ZIP file. This ZIP file must contain YAML files, but Fides can be configured to also accept the inclusion of custom Python code in it. The custom code is executed in a restricted, sandboxed environment, but the sandbox can be bypassed to execute any arbitrary code. The vulnerability allows the execution of arbitrary code on the target system within the context of the webserver python process owner on the webserver container, which by default is `root`, and leverage that access to attack underlying infrastructure and integrated systems. This vulnerability affects Fides versions `2.11.0` through `2.19.0`. Exploitation is limited to API clients with the `CONNECTOR_TEMPLATE_REGISTER` authorization scope. In the Fides Admin UI this scope is restricted to highly privileged users, specifically root users and users with the owner role. Exploitation is only possible if the security configuration parameter `allow_custom_connector_functions` is enabled by the user deploying the Fides webserver container, either in `fides.toml` or by setting the env var `FIDES__SECURITY__ALLOW_CUSTOM_CONNECTOR_FUNCTIONS=True`. By default this configuration parameter is disabled. The vulnerability has been patched in Fides version `2.19.0`. Users are advised to upgrade to this version or later to secure their systems against this threat. Users unable to upgrade should ensure that `allow_custom_connector_functions` in `fides.toml` and the `FIDES__SECURITY__ALLOW_CUSTOM_CONNECTOR_FUNCTIONS` are both either unset or explicit set to `False`.
Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 1.8.0-beta.27, Grav CMS is vulnerable to a Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) that allows any authenticated user with editor permissions to execute arbitrary code on the remote server, bypassing the existing security sandbox. Since the security sandbox does not fully protect the Twig object, it is possible to interact with it (e.g., call methods, read/write attributes) through maliciously crafted Twig template directives injected into a web page. This allows an authenticated editor to add arbitrary functions to the Twig attribute system.twig.safe_filters, effectively bypassing the Grav CMS sandbox. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.8.0-beta.27.
Code Injection in GitHub repository froxlor/froxlor prior to 2.0.11.
An authenticated attacker can leverage an exposed getattr() method via a Jinja template to smuggle OS commands and perform other actions that are normally expected to be private methods. This issue was resolved in the Managed and SaaS deployments on February 1, 2023, and in version 23.2.1 of the Self-Managed version of InsightCloudSec.
An authenticated attacker can leverage an exposed resource.db() accessor method to smuggle Python method calls via a Jinja template, which can lead to code execution. This issue was resolved in the Managed and SaaS deployments on February 1, 2023, and in version 23.2.1 of the Self-Managed version of InsightCloudSec.
ExpressionEngine before 5.4.2 and 6.x before 6.0.3 allows PHP Code Injection by certain authenticated users who can leverage Translate::save() to write to an _lang.php file under the system/user/language directory.
Code Injection in GitHub repository froxlor/froxlor prior to 2.0.10.
The software contains a hard-coded password it uses for its own inbound authentication or for outbound communication to external components on the Reason DR60 (all firmware versions prior to 02A04.1).
A command injection vulnerability exists in TeemIp versions before 2.4.0. The new_config parameter of exec.php allows one to create a new PHP file with the exception of config information. The malicious PHP code sent is executed instantaneously and is not saved on the server.
Real Time Logic FuguHub v8.1 and earlier was discovered to contain a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability via the component /FuguHub/cmsdocs/.
SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Analysis edition for OLAP allows an authenticated attacker to inject malicious code that can be executed by the application over the network. On successful exploitation, an attacker can perform operations that may completely compromise the application causing a high impact on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the application.
An SSTI (Server-Side Template Injection) vulnerability exists in the get_address_display method of Frappe ERPNext through 15.89.0. This function renders address templates using frappe.render_template() with a context derived from the address_dict parameter, which can be either a dictionary or a string referencing an Address document. Although ERPNext uses a custom Jinja2 SandboxedEnvironment, dangerous functions like frappe.db.sql remain accessible via get_safe_globals(). An authenticated attacker with permission to create or modify an Address Template can inject arbitrary Jinja expressions into the template field. By creating an Address document with a matching country, and then calling the get_address_display API with address_dict="address_name", the system will render the malicious template using attacker-controlled data. This leads to server-side code execution or database information disclosure.
The webutils in Proofpoint Enterprise Protection (PPS/POD) contain a vulnerability that allows an authenticated user to execute remote code through 'eval injection'. This affects all versions 8.20.0 and below.
CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based CMS skeleton that delivers a production-ready, modular architecture with RBAC authorization and theme support. Prior to version 0.28.5.0, an authenticated user with file editor permissions can achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE) by leveraging the file creation and save endpoints, an attacker can upload and execute arbitrary PHP code on the server. This issue has been patched in version 0.28.5.0.
Erugo is a self-hosted file-sharing platform. In versions up to and including 0.2.14, an authenticated low-privileged user can upload arbitrary files to any specified location due to insufficient validation of user‑supplied paths when creating shares. By specifying a writable path within the public web root, an attacker can upload and execute arbitrary code on the server, resulting in remote code execution (RCE). This vulnerability allows a low-privileged user to fully compromise the affected Erugo instance. Version 0.2.15 fixes the issue.
AutoGPT is a platform that allows users to create, deploy, and manage continuous artificial intelligence agents that automate complex workflows. Prior to autogpt-platform-beta-v0.6.44, AutoGPT Platform's block execution endpoints (both main web API and external API) allow executing blocks by UUID without checking the `disabled` flag. Any authenticated user can execute the disabled `BlockInstallationBlock`, which writes arbitrary Python code to the server filesystem and executes it via `__import__()`, achieving Remote Code Execution. In default self-hosted deployments where Supabase signup is enabled, an attacker can self-register; if signup is disabled (e.g., hosted), the attacker needs an existing account. autogpt-platform-beta-v0.6.44 contains a fix.
baigoStudio baigoSSO v3.0.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via the first form field of a configuration screen, because this code is written to the BG_SITE_NAME field in the opt_base.inc.php file.
Yoke is a Helm-inspired infrastructure-as-code (IaC) package deployer. In 0.19.0 and earlier, a vulnerability exists in the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) component of Yoke. It allows users with CR create/update permissions to execute arbitrary WASM code in the ATC controller context by injecting a malicious URL through the overrides.yoke.cd/flight annotation. The ATC controller downloads and executes the WASM module without proper URL validation, enabling attackers to create arbitrary Kubernetes resources or potentially escalate privileges to cluster-admin level.
Claude Code is an agentic coding tool. Prior to version 2.0.72, due to an error in command parsing, it was possible to bypass the Claude Code confirmation prompt to trigger execution of untrusted commands through the find command. Reliably exploiting this required the ability to add untrusted content into a Claude Code context window. This issue has been patched in version 2.0.72.
Envoy Gateway is an open source project for managing Envoy Proxy as a standalone or Kubernetes-based application gateway. Prior to 1.5.7 and 1.6.2, EnvoyExtensionPolicy Lua scripts executed by Envoy proxy can be used to leak the proxy's credentials. These credentials can then be used to communicate with the control plane and gain access to all secrets that are used by Envoy proxy, e.g. TLS private keys and credentials used for downstream and upstream communication. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.5.7 and 1.6.2.
Tiki before 24.1, when feature_create_webhelp is enabled, allows lib/structures/structlib.php PHP Object Injection because of an eval.
Skipper is an HTTP router and reverse proxy for service composition. The default skipper configuration before 0.23.0 was -lua-sources=inline,file. The problem starts if untrusted users can create lua filters, because of -lua-sources=inline , for example through a Kubernetes Ingress resource. The configuration inline allows these user to create a script that is able to read the filesystem accessible to the skipper process and if the user has access to read the logs, they an read skipper secrets. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.23.0.
Upload profile either through API or user interface in Chef Automate prior to and including version 4.10.29 using InSpec check command with maliciously crafted profile allows remote code execution.
PHP code injection in watolib auth.php and hosttags.php in Tribe29's Checkmk <= 2.1.0p10, Checkmk <= 2.0.0p27, and Checkmk <= 1.6.0p29 allows an attacker to inject and execute PHP code which will be executed upon request of the vulnerable component.
Eval injection in yzmphp/core/function/global.func.php in YzmCMS v3.7.1 allows remote attackers to achieve arbitrary code execution via PHP code in the POST data of an index.php?m=member&c=member_content&a=init request.
AyaCMS v3.1.2 was found to have a code flaw in the ust_sql.inc.php file, which allows attackers to cause command execution by inserting malicious code.
Akeneo PIM is an open source Product Information Management (PIM). Akeneo PIM Community Edition versions before v5.0.119 and v6.0.53 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code on the server by uploading a crafted image. Akeneo PIM Community Edition after the versions aforementioned provides patched Apache HTTP server configuration file, for docker setup and in documentation sample, to fix this vulnerability. Community Edition users must change their Apache HTTP server configuration accordingly to be protected. The patch for Cloud Based Akeneo PIM Services customers has been applied since 30th October 2022. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade may Replace any reference to `<FilesMatch \.php$>` in their apache httpd configurations with: `<Location "/index.php">`.
A remote OScript execution issue was discovered in OpenText Content Suite Platform 22.1 (16.2.19.1803). Multiple endpoints allow the user to pass the parameter htmlFile, which is included in the HTML output rendering pipeline of a request. Because the Content Server evaluates and executes Oscript code in HTML files, it is possible for an attacker to execute Oscript code. The Oscript scripting language allows the attacker (for example) to manipulate files on the filesystem, create new network connections, or execute OS commands.
Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server prior to versions 9.4.0.1 and 9.3.0.2, including 8.3.x allow certain web services to set property values which contain Spring templates that are interpreted downstream.
Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server prior to versions 9.4.0.1 and 9.3.0.2, including 8.3.x cannot allow a system administrator to disable scripting capabilities of Pentaho Reports (*.prpt) through the JVM script manager.

Performing a manipulation of the argument equations results in code injection. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. This product is using a rolling release to provide continious delivery. Therefore, no version details for affected nor updated releases are available. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A vulnerability was found in FastCMS. It has been rated as critical. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /template/edit of the component Template Handler. The manipulation leads to injection. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The identifier VDB-214901 was assigned to this vulnerability.
Jenkins Katalon Plugin 1.0.32 and earlier implements an agent/controller message that does not limit where it can be executed and allows invoking Katalon with configurable arguments, allowing attackers able to control agent processes to invoke Katalon on the Jenkins controller with attacker-controlled version, install location, and arguments, and attackers additionally able to create files on the Jenkins controller (e.g., attackers with Item/Configure permission could archive artifacts) to invoke arbitrary OS commands.
Auth. Remote Code Execution vulnerability in Easy WP SMTP plugin <= 1.5.1 on WordPress.
An issue was discovered in NOKIA AMS 9.7.05. Remote Code Execution exists via the debugger of the ipAddress variable. A remote user, authenticated to the AMS server, could inject code in the PING function. The privileges of the command executed depend on the user that runs the service.
iKuai OS v3.6.7 was discovered to contain an authenticated remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability.
