IBM WebSphere Automation 1.7.0 could allow an attacker with privileged access to the network to conduct a CSV injection. An attacker could execute arbitrary commands on the system, caused by improper validation of csv file contents. IBM X-Force ID: 285623.
There is a use-after-free in kernel versions before 5.5 due to a race condition between the release of ptp_clock and cdev while resource deallocation. When a (high privileged) process allocates a ptp device file (like /dev/ptpX) and voluntarily goes to sleep. During this time if the underlying device is removed, it can cause an exploitable condition as the process wakes up to terminate and clean all attached files. The system crashes due to the cdev structure being invalid (as already freed) which is pointed to by the inode.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: regmap: maple: Fix cache corruption in regcache_maple_drop() When keeping the upper end of a cache block entry, the entry[] array must be indexed by the offset from the base register of the block, i.e. max - mas.index. The code was indexing entry[] by only the register address, leading to an out-of-bounds access that copied some part of the kernel memory over the cache contents. This bug was not detected by the regmap KUnit test because it only tests with a block of registers starting at 0, so mas.index == 0.
An issue was found in Linux kernel before 5.5.4. The mwifiex_cmd_append_vsie_tlv() function in drivers/net/wireless/marvell/mwifiex/scan.c allows local users to gain privileges or cause a denial of service because of an incorrect memcpy and buffer overflow, aka CID-b70261a288ea.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: fix memory corruption bug with suspend and rebuild The ice driver would previously panic after suspend. This is caused from the driver *only* calling the ice_vsi_free_q_vectors() function by itself, when it is suspending. Since commit b3e7b3a6ee92 ("ice: prevent NULL pointer deref during reload") the driver has zeroed out num_q_vectors, and only restored it in ice_vsi_cfg_def(). This further causes the ice_rebuild() function to allocate a zero length buffer, after which num_q_vectors is updated, and then the new value of num_q_vectors is used to index into the zero length buffer, which corrupts memory. The fix entails making sure all the code referencing num_q_vectors only does so after it has been reset via ice_vsi_cfg_def(). I didn't perform a full bisect, but I was able to test against 6.1.77 kernel and that ice driver works fine for suspend/resume with no panic, so sometime since then, this problem was introduced. Also clean up an un-needed init of a local variable in the function being modified. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: check A-MSDU format more carefully If it looks like there's another subframe in the A-MSDU but the header isn't fully there, we can end up reading data out of bounds, only to discard later. Make this a bit more careful and check if the subframe header can even be present.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: cachestat: fix two shmem bugs When cachestat on shmem races with swapping and invalidation, there are two possible bugs: 1) A swapin error can have resulted in a poisoned swap entry in the shmem inode's xarray. Calling get_shadow_from_swap_cache() on it will result in an out-of-bounds access to swapper_spaces[]. Validate the entry with non_swap_entry() before going further. 2) When we find a valid swap entry in the shmem's inode, the shadow entry in the swapcache might not exist yet: swap IO is still in progress and we're before __remove_mapping; swapin, invalidation, or swapoff have removed the shadow from swapcache after we saw the shmem swap entry. This will send a NULL to workingset_test_recent(). The latter purely operates on pointer bits, so it won't crash - node 0, memcg ID 0, eviction timestamp 0, etc. are all valid inputs - but it's a bogus test. In theory that could result in a false "recently evicted" count. Such a false positive wouldn't be the end of the world. But for code clarity and (future) robustness, be explicit about this case. Bail on get_shadow_from_swap_cache() returning NULL.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: n_gsm: fix possible out-of-bounds in gsm0_receive() Assuming the following: - side A configures the n_gsm in basic option mode - side B sends the header of a basic option mode frame with data length 1 - side A switches to advanced option mode - side B sends 2 data bytes which exceeds gsm->len Reason: gsm->len is not used in advanced option mode. - side A switches to basic option mode - side B keeps sending until gsm0_receive() writes past gsm->buf Reason: Neither gsm->state nor gsm->len have been reset after reconfiguration. Fix this by changing gsm->count to gsm->len comparison from equal to less than. Also add upper limit checks against the constant MAX_MRU in gsm0_receive() and gsm1_receive() to harden against memory corruption of gsm->len and gsm->mru. All other checks remain as we still need to limit the data according to the user configuration and actual payload size.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tpm_tis_spi: Account for SPI header when allocating TPM SPI xfer buffer The TPM SPI transfer mechanism uses MAX_SPI_FRAMESIZE for computing the maximum transfer length and the size of the transfer buffer. As such, it does not account for the 4 bytes of header that prepends the SPI data frame. This can result in out-of-bounds accesses and was confirmed with KASAN. Introduce SPI_HDRSIZE to account for the header and use to allocate the transfer buffer.
