The BasicJsonStringifier::SerializeJSArray function in json-stringifier.h in the JSON stringifier in Google V8, as used in Google Chrome before 47.0.2526.73, improperly loads array elements, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds memory access) or possibly have unspecified other impact via crafted JavaScript code.
A flaw in Node.js TLS hostname handling can cause Embedded-nul hostnames can lead to silent authority rebinding due to c-string truncation in resolver bindings. This vulnerability affects all supported release lines: **Node.js 22**, **Node.js 24**, and **Node.js 26**.
The crc32_big function in crc32.c in zlib 1.2.8 might allow context-dependent attackers to have unspecified impact via vectors involving big-endian CRC calculation.
Various `node:fs` functions allow specifying paths as either strings or `Uint8Array` objects. In Node.js environments, the `Buffer` class extends the `Uint8Array` class. Node.js prevents path traversal through strings (see CVE-2023-30584) and `Buffer` objects (see CVE-2023-32004), but not through non-`Buffer` `Uint8Array` objects. This is distinct from CVE-2023-32004 which only referred to `Buffer` objects. However, the vulnerability follows the same pattern using `Uint8Array` instead of `Buffer`. Please note that at the time this CVE was issued, the permission model is an experimental feature of Node.js.
HTTP request smuggling in Node.js 10, 12, and 13 causes malicious payload delivery when transfer-encoding is malformed
Including trailing white space in HTTP header values in Nodejs 10, 12, and 13 causes bypass of authorization based on header value comparisons
A command inject vulnerability allows an attacker to perform command injection on Windows applications that indirectly depend on the CreateProcess function when the specific conditions are satisfied.
Undici allows duplicate HTTP Content-Length headers when they are provided in an array with case-variant names (e.g., Content-Length and content-length). This produces malformed HTTP/1.1 requests with multiple conflicting Content-Length values on the wire. Who is impacted: * Applications using undici.request(), undici.Client, or similar low-level APIs with headers passed as flat arrays * Applications that accept user-controlled header names without case-normalization Potential consequences: * Denial of Service: Strict HTTP parsers (proxies, servers) will reject requests with duplicate Content-Length headers (400 Bad Request) * HTTP Request Smuggling: In deployments where an intermediary and backend interpret duplicate headers inconsistently (e.g., one uses the first value, the other uses the last), this can enable request smuggling attacks leading to ACL bypass, cache poisoning, or credential hijacking
The permission model protects itself against path traversal attacks by calling path.resolve() on any paths given by the user. If the path is to be treated as a Buffer, the implementation uses Buffer.from() to obtain a Buffer from the result of path.resolve(). By monkey-patching Buffer internals, namely, Buffer.prototype.utf8Write, the application can modify the result of path.resolve(), which leads to a path traversal vulnerability. This vulnerability affects all users using the experimental permission model in Node.js 20 and Node.js 21. Please note that at the time this CVE was issued, the permission model is an experimental feature of Node.js.
Node.js before 16.6.0, 14.17.4, and 12.22.4 is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution, XSS, Application crashes due to missing input validation of host names returned by Domain Name Servers in Node.js dns library which can lead to output of wrong hostnames (leading to Domain Hijacking) and injection vulnerabilities in applications using the library.
inffast.c in zlib 1.2.8 might allow context-dependent attackers to have unspecified impact by leveraging improper pointer arithmetic.
Integer overflow in the MDC2_Update function in crypto/mdc2/mdc2dgst.c in OpenSSL before 1.1.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds write and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via unknown vectors.
Heap-based buffer overflow in the ares_create_query function in c-ares 1.x before 1.12.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds write) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a hostname with an escaped trailing dot.
Node.js before 16.6.0, 14.17.4, and 12.22.4 is vulnerable to a use after free attack where an attacker might be able to exploit the memory corruption, to change process behavior.
undici is an HTTP/1.1 client, written from scratch for Node.js.`undici` is vulnerable to SSRF (Server-side Request Forgery) when an application takes in **user input** into the `path/pathname` option of `undici.request`. If a user specifies a URL such as `http://127.0.0.1` or `//127.0.0.1` ```js const undici = require("undici") undici.request({origin: "http://example.com", pathname: "//127.0.0.1"}) ``` Instead of processing the request as `http://example.org//127.0.0.1` (or `http://example.org/http://127.0.0.1` when `http://127.0.0.1 is used`), it actually processes the request as `http://127.0.0.1/` and sends it to `http://127.0.0.1`. If a developer passes in user input into `path` parameter of `undici.request`, it can result in an _SSRF_ as they will assume that the hostname cannot change, when in actual fact it can change because the specified path parameter is combined with the base URL. This issue was fixed in `undici@5.8.1`. The best workaround is to validate user input before passing it to the `undici.request` call.
The User Verification by PickPlugins plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authentication bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.46. This is due to the use of a loose PHP comparison operator to validate OTP codes in the "user_verification_form_wrap_process_otpLogin" function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any user with a verified email address, such as an administrator, by submitting a "true" OTP value.
The Temporary Login plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions up to and including 1.0.0. This is due to improper input validation in the maybe_login_temporary_user() function, which fails to verify that the 'temp-login-token' GET parameter is a scalar string before processing it. When the parameter is supplied as an array, PHP's empty() check is bypassed and sanitize_key() returns an empty string, which is then passed as the meta_value to get_users(). WordPress ignores an empty meta_value and returns all users matching the meta_key '_temporary_login_token', allowing authentication without a valid token. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to authenticate as any active temporary login user by sending a single crafted GET request.

The Micro Air Vehicle Link (MAVLink) protocol presents authentication mechanisms on its version 2.0 however according to its documentation, in order to maintain backwards compatibility, GCS and autopilot negotiate the version via the AUTOPILOT_VERSION message. Since this negotiation depends on the answer, an attacker may craft packages in a way that hints the autopilot to adopt version 1.0 of MAVLink for the communication. Given the lack of authentication capabilities in such version of MAVLink (refer to CVE-2020-10282), attackers may use this method to bypass authentication capabilities and interact with the autopilot directly.
Authentication Bypass Using an Alternate Path or Channel vulnerability in Information Technology Wawp automation-web-platform allows Authentication Bypass. This issue affects Wawp: from n/a through < 3.0.18.
A vulnerability in SenseLive X3050’s web management interface allows unauthorized access to certain configuration endpoints due to improper access control enforcement. In all versions of ABB Power Generation Information Manager (PGIM) and Plant Connect, the affected product is vulnerable to authentication bypass, which may allow an attacker to remotely bypass authentication and extract credentials from the affected device.
The Login with phone number plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authentication bypass in versions up to, and including, 1.7.26. This is due to the 'activation_code' default value is empty, and the not empty check is missing in the 'lwp_ajax_register' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any existing user on the site, such as an administrator, if they have access to the user email. The vulnerability is patched in version 1.7.26, but there is an issue in the patch that causes the entire function to not work, and this issue is fixed in version 1.7.27.

The Visa Acceptance Solutions plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.0. This is due to the `express_pay_product_page_pay_for_order()` function logging users in based solely on a user-supplied billing email address during guest checkout for subscription products, without verifying email ownership, requiring a password, or validating a one-time token. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as any existing user, including administrators, by providing the target user's email address in the billing_details parameter, resulting in complete account takeover and site compromise.
Authentication bypass using an alternate path or channel in Microsoft Azure Active Directory B2C allows an unauthorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network.

In OpenAirInterface V2.2.0 AMF, Out of sequence messages causes incorrect state transition during UE registration procedure. This allows authentication to be bypassed completely. If a SecurityModeComplete message is sent after InitialUERegistration, a registration reject is received followed by a registration accept! This leads the UE to be registered without proper authentication.
An issue in the login mechanism of Kaleris YMS v7.2.2.1 allows attackers to bypass login verification to access the application 's resources.
SEPPmail Secure Email Gateway before version 15.0.3 allows account takeover by abusing GINA account initialization to reset a victim account password.
Seerr is an open-source media request and discovery manager for Jellyfin, Plex, and Emby. Starting in version 2.0.0 and prior to version 3.1.0, an authentication guard logic flaw in `POST /api/v1/auth/jellyfin` allows an unauthenticated attacker to register a new Seerr account on any Plex-configured instance by authenticating with an attacker-controlled Jellyfin server. The attacker receives an authenticated session and can immediately use the application with default permissions, including the ability to submit media requests to Radarr/Sonarr. Any Seerr deployment where all three of the following are true may be vulnerable: `settings.main.mediaServerType` is set to `PLEX` (the most common deployment).; `settings.jellyfin.ip` is set to `""` (default, meaning Jellyfin was never configured); and `settings.main.newPlexLogin` is set to `true` (default). Jellyfin-configured and Emby-configured deployments are not affected. Version 3.1.0 of Seerr fixes this issue.

The Case Theme User plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.3. This is due to the plugin not properly logging in a user with the data that was previously verified through the facebook_ajax_login_callback() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as administrative users, as long as they have an existing account on the site which can easily be created by default through the temp user functionality, and access to the administrative user's email.

This is due to the check_login() function not properly verifying a user's identity prior to successfully authenticating them This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to bypass standard authentication and access administrative user accounts. Please note social login needs to be enabled in order for a site to be impacted by this vulnerability.
WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. Prior to version 3.6.5, an unsafe use of the `extract()` function on the `$_REQUEST` superglobal allows an unauthenticated attacker to overwrite local variables in multiple PHP scripts. This vulnerability can be leveraged to completely bypass authentication checks, allowing unauthorized access to administrative and protected areas of the WeGIA application. Version 3.6.5 fixes the issue.
