Cross-site scripting vulnerability in Cybozu Garoon 5.0.0 to 5.15.2 allows a remote authenticated attacker with an administrative privilege to inject an arbitrary script on the web browser of the user who is logging in to the product.
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. In versions 5.5.2 - #156 and below, an authenticated regular user can create a photo collection whose Collection Name contains HTML/JavaScript payloads, which making ClipBucket’s Manage Photos feature vulnerable to Stored XSS. The payload is rendered unsafely in the Admin → Manage Photos interface, causing it to execute in the administrator’s browser, therefore allowing an attacker to target administrators and perform actions with elevated privileges. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.2 - #157.
XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform offering runtime services for applications built on top of it. `org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-platform-web` starting in version 3.1-milestone-1 and prior to 13.4-rc-1, `org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-platform-web-templates` prior to versions 14.10.2 and 15.5-rc-1, and `org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-web-standard` starting in version 2.4-milestone-2 and prior to version 3.1-milestone-1 are vulnerable to cross-site scripting. An attacker can create a template provider on any document that is part of the wiki (could be the attacker's user profile) that contains malicious code. This code is executed when this template provider is selected during document creation which can be triggered by sending the user to a URL. For the attacker, the only requirement is to have an account as by default the own user profile is editable. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary actions with the rights of the user opening the malicious link. Depending on the rights of the user, this may allow remote code execution and full read and write access to the whole XWiki installation. This has been patched in `org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-platform-web` 13.4-rc-1, `org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-platform-web-templates` 14.10.2 and 15.5-rc-1, and `org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-web-standard` 3.1-milestone-1 by adding the appropriate escaping. The vulnerable template file createinline.vm is part of XWiki's WAR and can be patched by manually applying the changes from the fix.
XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform offering runtime services for applications built on top of it. `org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-platform-web` starting in version 3.1-milestone-2 and prior to version 13.4-rc-1, as well as `org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-platform-web-templates` prior to versions 14.10.12 and 15.5-rc-1, are vulnerable to cross-site scripting. When trying to create a document that already exists, XWiki displays an error message in the form for creating it. Due to missing escaping, this error message is vulnerable to raw HTML injection and thus XSS. The injected code is the document reference of the existing document so this requires that the attacker first creates a non-empty document whose name contains the attack code. This has been patched in `org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-platform-web` version 13.4-rc-1 and `org.xwiki.platform:xwiki-platform-web-templates` versions 14.10.12 and 15.5-rc-1 by adding the appropriate escaping. The vulnerable template file `createinline.vm` is part of XWiki's WAR and can be patched by manually applying the changes from the fix.
The Web server component of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO EBX, TIBCO EBX, TIBCO EBX, TIBCO EBX Add-ons, TIBCO EBX Add-ons, TIBCO EBX Add-ons, and TIBCO Product and Service Catalog powered by TIBCO EBX contains an easily exploitable vulnerability that allows a low privileged attacker with network access to execute Stored Cross Site Scripting (XSS) on the affected system. A successful attack using this vulnerability requires human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Affected releases are TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO EBX: versions 5.8.124 and below, TIBCO EBX: versions 5.9.3, 5.9.4, 5.9.5, 5.9.6, 5.9.7, 5.9.8, 5.9.9, 5.9.10, 5.9.11, 5.9.12, 5.9.13, 5.9.14, and 5.9.15, TIBCO EBX: versions 6.0.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.2, and 6.0.3, TIBCO EBX Add-ons: versions 3.20.18 and below, TIBCO EBX Add-ons: versions 4.1.0, 4.2.0, 4.2.1, 4.2.2, 4.3.0, 4.3.1, 4.3.2, 4.3.3, 4.3.4, 4.4.0, 4.4.1, 4.4.2, 4.4.3, 4.5.0, 4.5.1, 4.5.2, 4.5.3, 4.5.4, 4.5.5, and 4.5.6, TIBCO EBX Add-ons: versions 5.0.0, 5.0.1, 5.1.0, 5.1.1, and 5.2.0, and TIBCO Product and Service Catalog powered by TIBCO EBX: versions 1.1.0 and below.
In Teedy, versions v1.5 through v1.9 are vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the name of a created Tag. Since the Tag name is not being sanitized properly in the edit tag page, a low privileged attacker can store malicious scripts in the name of the Tag. In the worst case, the victim who inadvertently triggers the attack is a highly privileged administrator. The injected scripts can extract the Session ID, which can lead to full Account Takeover of the administrator, and privileges escalation.
Cantemo Portal before 3.2.13, 3.3.x before 3.3.8, and 3.4.x before 3.4.9 has XSS. Leveraging this vulnerability would enable performing actions as users, including administrative users. This could enable account creation and deletion as well as deletion of information contained within the app.
Prima Systems FlexAir, Versions 2.3.38 and prior. Parameters sent to scripts are not properly sanitized before being returned to the user, which may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in a user’s browser session in context of an affected site.
In Gogs, versions v0.6.5 through v0.12.10 are vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) that leads to an account takeover.
Multiple Stored XSS in GitHub repository causefx/organizr prior to 2.1.1810. This allows attackers to execute malicious scripts in the user's browser and it can lead to session hijacking, sensitive data exposure, and worse.
Stored XSS due to no sanitization in the filename in GitHub repository causefx/organizr prior to 2.1.1810. This allows attackers to execute malicious scripts in the user's browser and it can lead to session hijacking, sensitive data exposure, and worse.
FUDForum 3.0.9 is vulnerable to Stored XSS via the nlogin parameter. This may result in remote code execution. An attacker can use a user account to fully compromise the system using a POST request. When the admin visits the user information, the payload will execute. This will allow for PHP files to be written to the web root, and for code to execute on the remote server.
Dell EMC XtremIO XMS versions prior to 6.3.0 contain a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability. A low-privileged malicious remote user of XtremIO may exploit this vulnerability to store malicious HTML or JavaScript code in application fields. When victim users access the injected page through their browsers, the malicious code may be executed by the web browser in the context of the vulnerable web application.
FUDForum 3.0.9 is vulnerable to Stored XSS via the User-Agent HTTP header. This may result in remote code execution. An attacker can use a user account to fully compromise the system via a GET request. When the admin visits user information under "User Manager" in the control panel, the payload will execute. This will allow for PHP files to be written to the web root, and for code to execute on the remote server. The problem is in admsession.php and admuser.php.
Stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the manage vocabulary page in Liferay Portal 7.4.2 through 7.4.3.87, and Liferay DXP 7.4 before update 88 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted payload injected into a Vocabulary's 'description' text field.
Advantech EKI-1524, EKI-1522, EKI-1521 devices through 1.21 are affected by a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability, which can be triggered by authenticated users in the device name field of the web-interface.
XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform offering runtime services for applications built on top of it. Any registered user can exploit a stored XSS through their user profile by setting the payload as the value of the time zone user preference. Even though the time zone is selected from a drop down (no free text value) it can still be set from JavaScript (using the browser developer tools) or by calling the save URL on the user profile with the right query string. Once the time zone is set it is displayed without escaping which means the payload gets executed for any user that visits the malicious user profile, allowing the attacker to steal information and even gain more access rights (escalation to programming rights). This issue is present since version 4.1M2 when the time zone user preference was introduced. The issue has been fixed in XWiki 14.10.5 and 15.1RC1.
CI4MS is a CodeIgniter 4-based CMS skeleton that delivers a production-ready, modular architecture with RBAC authorization and theme support. Prior to version 0.31.0.0, the application fails to properly sanitize user-controlled input when creating or editing blog posts within the Categories section. An attacker can inject a malicious JavaScript payload into the Categories content, which is then stored server-side. This stored payload is later rendered unsafely when the Categories are viewed via blog posts, without proper output encoding, leading to stored cross-site scripting (XSS). This issue has been patched in version 0.31.0.0.
Elcomplus SmartPTT is vulnerable when an attacker injects JavaScript code into a specific parameter that can executed upon accessing the dashboard or the main page.
Nodebb is an open source Node.js based forum software. In affected versions a prototype pollution vulnerability in the uploader module allowed a malicious user to inject arbitrary data (i.e. javascript) into the DOM, theoretically allowing for an account takeover when used in conjunction with a path traversal vulnerability disclosed at the same time as this report. The vulnerability has been patched as of v1.18.5. Users are advised to upgrade as soon as possible.
ASUS RT-A88U 3.0.0.4.386_45898 is vulnerable to Cross Site Scripting (XSS). The ASUS router admin panel does not sanitize the WiFI logs correctly, if an attacker was able to change the SSID of the router with a custom payload, they could achieve stored XSS on the device.
A stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Missing Data Codes functionality of REDCap before 11.4.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript code in the client's browser by storing said code as a Missing Data Code value. This can then be leveraged to execute a Cross-Site Request Forgery attack to escalate privileges to administrator.
The Interior Server and Gateway Server components of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO PartnerExpress contain easily exploitable Stored and Reflected Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities that allow a low privileged attacker to social engineer a legitimate user with network access to execute scripts targeting the affected system or the victim's local system. A successful attack using this vulnerability requires human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Affected releases are TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO PartnerExpress: versions 6.2.1 and below.
NocoDB is software for building databases as spreadsheets. Prior to version 0.301.0, a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in NocoDB’s attachment handling mechanism. Authenticated users can upload malicious SVG files containing embedded JavaScript, which are later rendered inline and executed in the browsers of other users who view the attachment. Because the malicious payload is stored server-side and executed under the application’s origin, successful exploitation can lead to account compromise, data exfiltration and unauthorized actions performed on behalf of affected users. Version 0.301.0 patches the issue.
pimcore is vulnerable to Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')
kimai2 is vulnerable to Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')
XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform offering runtime services for applications built on top of it. By creating a conflict when another user with more rights is currently editing a page, it is possible to execute JavaScript snippets on the side of the other user, which compromises the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the whole XWiki installation. This has been patched in XWiki 15.10.8 and 16.3.0RC1.
XWiki Rendering is a generic Rendering system that converts textual input in a given syntax into another syntax. The cleaning of attributes during XHTML rendering, introduced in version 14.6-rc-1, allowed the injection of arbitrary HTML code and thus cross-site scripting via invalid attribute names. This can be exploited, e.g., via the link syntax in any content that supports XWiki syntax like comments in XWiki. When a user moves the mouse over a malicious link, the malicious JavaScript code is executed in the context of the user session. When this user is a privileged user who has programming rights, this allows server-side code execution with programming rights, impacting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the XWiki instance. While this attribute was correctly recognized as not allowed, the attribute was still printed with a prefix `data-xwiki-translated-attribute-` without further cleaning or validation. This problem has been patched in XWiki 14.10.4 and 15.0 RC1 by removing characters not allowed in data attributes and then validating the cleaned attribute again. There are no known workarounds apart from upgrading to a version including the fix.
The WebFOCUS Reporting Server and WebFOCUS Client components of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO WebFOCUS Client, TIBCO WebFOCUS Installer, and TIBCO WebFOCUS Reporting Server contain easily exploitable Stored and Reflected Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities that allow a low privileged attacker to social engineer a legitimate user with network access to execute scripts targeting the affected system or the victim's local system. A successful attack using this vulnerability requires human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Affected releases are TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO WebFOCUS Client: versions 8207.27.0 and below, TIBCO WebFOCUS Installer: versions 8207.27.0 and below, and TIBCO WebFOCUS Reporting Server: versions 8207.27.0 and below.
Inductive Automation Ignition OPC UA Quick Client Cross-Site Scripting Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Inductive Automation Ignition. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the handling of the id parameter provided to the Inductive Automation Ignition web interface. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can lead to the injection of an arbitrary script. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-20355.
An Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos Space allows an attacker to store script tags directly in web pages that, when viewed by another user, enable the attacker to execute commands with the target's administrative permissions. This issue affects all versions of Junos Space before 24.1R4.
Countly, a product analytics solution, is vulnerable to cross-site scripting prior to version 21.11 of the community edition. The victim must follow a malicious link or be redirected there from malicious web site. The attacker must have an account or be able to create one. This issue is patched in version 21.11.
DNN (formerly DotNetNuke) is an open-source web content management platform (CMS) in the Microsoft ecosystem. Prior to version 10.1.0, the Prompt module allows execution of commands that can return raw HTML. Malicious input, even if sanitized for display elsewhere, can be executed when processed through certain commands, leading to potential script execution (XSS). This issue has been patched in version 10.1.0.
Cross Site Scripting Vulnerability in Wyomind Help Desk Magento 2 extension v.1.3.6 and before and fixed in v.1.3.7 allows attackers to escalte privileges via a crafted payload in the ticket message field.
Chamilo is a learning management system. Prior to version 1.11.34, there is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. By injecting malicious JavaScript into the course description field, an attacker with a low-privileged account (e.g., trainer) can execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of any other user viewing the course information page, including administrators. This allows an attacker to exfiltrate sensitive session cookies or tokens, resulting in account takeover (ATO) of higher-privileged users. This issue has been patched in version 1.11.34.
The Volkov Labs Business Links panel for Grafana provides an interface to navigate using external links, internal dashboards, time pickers, and dropdown menus. Prior to version 2.4.0, a malicious actor with Editor privileges can escalate their privileges to Administrator and perform arbitrary administrative actions. This is possible because the plugin allows arbitrary JavaScript code injection in the [Layout] → [Link] → [URL] field. Version 2.4.0 contains a fix for the issue.
Chamilo is a learning management system. Prior to version 1.11.34, there is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. By injecting malicious JavaScript into the course learning path Settings field, an attacker with a low-privileged account (e.g., trainer) can execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of any other user viewing the course information page, including administrators. This allows an attacker to exfiltrate sensitive session cookies or tokens, resulting in account takeover (ATO) of higher-privileged users. This issue has been patched in version 1.11.34.
XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform offering runtime services for applications built on top of it. Any user with edit rights can edit all pages in the `CKEditor' space. This makes it possible to perform a variety of harmful actions, such as removing technical documents, leading to loss of service and editing the javascript configuration of CKEditor, leading to persistent XSS. This issue has been patched in XWiki 14.10.6 and XWiki 15.1. This issue has been patched on the CKEditor Integration extension 1.64.9 for XWiki version older than 14.6RC1. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade may manually address the issue by restricting the `edit` and `delete` rights to a trusted user or group (e.g. the `XWiki.XWikiAdminGroup` group), implicitly disabling those rights for all other users. See commit `9d9d86179` for details.
Prior to the patched version, there is an XSS vulnerability in the description fields within the Mautic application which could be exploited by a logged in user of Mautic with the appropriate permissions. This could lead to the user having elevated access to the system.
SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, SiYuan's Bazaar (community marketplace) renders the name and version fields of a package's plugin.json (and the equivalent theme.json / template.json / widget.json / icon.json) into the Settings → Marketplace UI without HTML escaping. The kernel-side helper sanitizePackageDisplayStrings in kernel/bazaar/package.go HTML-escapes only Author, DisplayName, and Description — Name and Version flow through to the renderer raw. The frontend at app/src/config/bazaar.ts substitutes them into HTML template strings via ${item.preferredName} / ${data.name} / v${data.version} and assigns the result to innerHTML. As a consequence, malicious HTML in either field is parsed and executed when a user opens the marketplace tab. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0.
Chamilo is a learning management system. Versions prior to 1.11.34 have a Stored XSS through insecure file uploads in `Social Networks`. Through it, a low-privilege user can execute arbitrary code in the admin user inbox, allowing takeover of the admin account. Version 1.11.34 fixes the issue.
XWiki Rendering is a generic rendering system that converts textual input in a given syntax (wiki syntax, HTML, etc) into another syntax (XHTML, etc). Starting in version 5.4.5 and prior to version 14.10, the XHTML syntax depended on the `xdom+xml/current` syntax which allows the creation of raw blocks that permit the insertion of arbitrary HTML content including JavaScript. This allows XSS attacks for users who can edit a document like their user profile (enabled by default). This has been fixed in version 14.10 by removing the dependency on the `xdom+xml/current` syntax from the XHTML syntax. Note that the `xdom+xml` syntax is still vulnerable to this attack. As it's main purpose is testing and its use is quite difficult, this syntax shouldn't be installed or used on a regular wiki. There are no known workarounds apart from upgrading.
SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.0, it does not escape the untrusted fields (name, version, author, description) when they are serialized into the data-obj HTML attribute of each marketplace card. Because the attribute is single-quoted and the value is produced with JSON.stringify() (which does not escape ', <, or >), a package whose name contains a single quote breaks out of the attribute and injects arbitrary HTML. In the desktop client the main BrowserWindow runs with nodeIntegration: true, contextIsolation: false, so the injected markup escalates from DOM XSS to arbitrary OS command execution. This is the same root cause and same impact as the original advisory, reached through a sibling sink the patch did not cover. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0.
NamelessMC is a free, easy to use & powerful website software for Minecraft servers. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in NamelessMC before 2.2.3 allows remote authenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the dashboard text editor component. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.2.4.
A cross-site scripting (xss) vulnerability exists in the videosList page parameter functionality of WWBN AVideo 14.4 and dev master commit 8a8954ff. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary Javascript execution. An attacker can get a user to visit a webpage to trigger this vulnerability.
Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. Prior to versions 2.13.8, 2.14.13, and 3.0.4, an attacker can perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim via the API. Due to the improper filtering of URL protocols in the repository page, an attacker can achieve cross-site scripting with permission to edit the repository. This issue has been patched in versions 2.13.8, 2.14.13, and 3.0.4.
XWiki Contrib's Syntax Markdown allows importing Markdown content into wiki pages and creating wiki content in Markdown. In versions starting from 8.2 to before 8.9, the Markdown syntax is vulnerable to cross-site scripting (XSS) through HTML. In particular, using Markdown syntax, it's possible for any user to embed Javascript code that will then be executed on the browser of any other user visiting either the document or the comment that contains it. In the instance that this code is executed by a user with admins or programming rights, this issue compromises the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the whole XWiki installation. This issue has been patched in version 8.9.
CE Phoenix is a free, open-source eCommerce platform. A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in CE Phoenix versions 1.0.9.9 through 1.1.0.2 where an attacker can inject malicious JavaScript into the testimonial description field. Once submitted, if the shop owner (admin) approves the testimonial, the script executes in the context of any user visiting the testimonial page. Because the session cookies are not marked with the `HttpOnly` flag, they can be exfiltrated by the attacker — potentially leading to account takeover. Version 1.1.0.3 fixes the issue.
Dell EMC SourceOne, versions 7.2SP10 and prior, contain a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability. A remote low privileged attacker may potentially exploit this vulnerability, to hijack user sessions or to trick a victim application user to unknowingly send arbitrary requests to the server.
In “Dolibarr ERP CRM”, WYSIWYG Editor module, v2.8.1 to v13.0.2 are affected by a stored XSS vulnerability that allows low privileged application users to store malicious scripts in the “Private Note” field at “/adherents/note.php?id=1” endpoint. These scripts are executed in a victim’s browser when they open the page containing the vulnerable field. In the worst case, the victim who inadvertently triggers the attack is a highly privileged administrator. The injected scripts can extract the Session ID, which can lead to full Account takeover of the admin and due to other vulnerability (Improper Access Control on Private notes) a low privileged user can update the private notes which could lead to privilege escalation.
