An attacker can freely brute force username and password and can takeover any account. An attacker could easily guess user passwords and gain access to user and administrative accounts.
Weak password derivation for export in Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager before 2022.1 allows information disclosure via a password brute-force attack. An error caused base64 to be decoded.
A vulnerability has been identified in Desigo DXR2 (All versions < V01.21.142.5-22), Desigo PXC3 (All versions < V01.21.142.4-18), Desigo PXC4 (All versions < V02.20.142.10-10884), Desigo PXC5 (All versions < V02.20.142.10-10884). The login functionality of the application does not employ any countermeasures against Password Spraying attacks or Credential Stuffing attacks. An attacker could obtain a list of valid usernames on the device by exploiting the issue and then perform a precise Password Spraying or Credential Stuffing attack in order to obtain access to at least one account.
The IPsec VPN blade has a dedicated portal for downloading and connecting through SSL Network Extender (SNX). If the portal is configured for username/password authentication, it is vulnerable to a brute-force attack on usernames and passwords.
The login page of Revive Adserver v5.4.1 is vulnerable to brute force attacks. NOTE: The vendor's position is that this is effectively mitigated by rate limits and password-quality features.
LibreNMS is an auto-discovering PHP/MySQL/SNMP based network monitoring which includes support for a wide range of network hardware and operating systems. In affected versions the login method has no rate limit. An attacker may be able to leverage this vulnerability to gain access to user accounts. This issue has been addressed in version 23.11.0. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
Vulnerability of brute-force attacks on the device authentication module.Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect service confidentiality.
Missing Rate Limiting in Web Applications operating on Business-DNA Solutions GmbH’s TopEase® Platform Version <= 7.1.27 on the Login Form allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to perform multiple login attempts, which facilitates gaining privileges.
Lack of rate limiting in M-Files Server and M-Files Web products with versions before 21.12.10873.0 in certain type of user accounts allows unlimited amount of attempts and therefore makes brute-forcing login accounts easier.
The MEAC300-FNADE4 does not implement sufficient measures to prevent multiple failed authentication attempts within a short time frame, making it susceptible to brute-force attacks.
A lack of rate limiting in Elenos ETG150 FM transmitter v3.12 allows attackers to obtain user credentials via brute force and cause other unspecified impacts.
OpenStack Keystone 10.x through 16.x before 16.0.2, 17.x before 17.0.1, 18.x before 18.0.1, and 19.x before 19.0.1 allows information disclosure during account locking (related to PCI DSS features). By guessing the name of an account and failing to authenticate multiple times, any unauthenticated actor could both confirm the account exists and obtain that account's corresponding UUID, which might be leveraged for other unrelated attacks. All deployments enabling security_compliance.lockout_failure_attempts are affected.
firefly-iii is vulnerable to Improper Restriction of Excessive Authentication Attempts
Nextcloud Server is a data storage system for Nextcloud, a self-hosted productivity platform. When multiple requests are sent in parallel, all of them were executed even if the amount of faulty requests succeeded the limit by the time the response was sent to the client. This allowed someone to send as many requests the server could handle in parallel to bruteforce protected details instead of the configured limit, default 8. Nextcloud Server versions 25.0.7 and 26.0.2 and Nextcloud Enterprise Server versions 21.0.9.12, 22.2.10.12, 23.0.12.7, 24.0.12.2, 25.0.7 and 26.0.2 contain patches for this issue.
Flask-AppBuilder versions before 4.3.0 lack rate limiting which can allow an attacker to brute-force user credentials. Version 4.3.0 includes the ability to enable rate limiting using `AUTH_RATE_LIMITED = True`, `RATELIMIT_ENABLED = True`, and setting an `AUTH_RATE_LIMIT`.
In Discourse 2.7.0 through beta1, a rate-limit bypass leads to a bypass of the 2FA requirement for certain forms.
A vulnerability has been identified in SINEMA Remote Connect Server (All versions < V3.2 SP1). The affected application does not properly implement brute force protection against user credentials in its Client Communication component. This could allow an attacker to learn user credentials that are vulnerable to brute force attacks.
Improper Restriction of Excessive Authentication Attempts vulnerability in Mia Technology Inc. Mia-Med Health Aplication allows Interface Manipulation. This issue affects Mia-Med Health Aplication: before 1.0.14.
A vulnerability has been identified in SINEMA Remote Connect Server (All versions < V3.2 SP1). The affected application does not properly implement brute force protection against user credentials in its web API. This could allow an attacker to learn user credentials that are vulnerable to brute force attacks.
A vulnerability has been identified in SINEC Traffic Analyzer (6GK8822-1BG01-0BA0) (All versions < V2.0). The affected application do not properly enforce restriction of excessive authentication attempts. This could allow an unauthenticated attacker to conduct brute force attacks against legitimate user credentials or keys.
In Solstice Pod before 3.3.0 (or Open4.3), the screen key can be enumerated using brute-force attacks via the /lookin/info Solstice Open Control API because there are only 1.7 million possibilities.
