A vulnerability has been identified in Mendix Encryption (All versions >= V10.0.0 < V10.0.2). Affected versions of the module define a specific hard-coded default value for the EncryptionKey constant, which is used in projects where no individual EncryptionKey was specified. This could allow to an attacker to decrypt any encrypted project data, as the default encryption key can be considered compromised.

File Browser Insecurely Handles Passwords

File Browser provides a file managing interface within a specified directory and it can be used to upload, delete, preview, rename and edit files. Prior to version 2.34.1, a missing password policy and brute-force protection makes the authentication process insecure. Attackers could mount a brute-force attack to retrieve the passwords of all accounts in a given instance. This issue has been patched in version 2.34.1.
