Dolibarr ERP/CRM 9.0.1 was affected by stored XSS within uploaded files. These vulnerabilities allowed the execution of a JavaScript payload each time any regular user or administrative user clicked on the malicious link hosted on the same domain. The vulnerabilities could be exploited by low privileged users to target administrators. The viewimage.php page did not perform any contextual output encoding and would display the content within the uploaded file with a user-requested MIME type.
Dolibarr 6.0.4 is affected by: Cross Site Scripting (XSS). The impact is: Cookie stealing. The component is: htdocs/product/stats/card.php. The attack vector is: Victim must click a specially crafted link sent by the attacker.
Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in Dolibarr 10.0.6 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) label[libelle] parameter to the /htdocs/admin/dict.php?id=3 page; the (2) name[constname] parameter to the /htdocs/admin/const.php?mainmenu=home page; the (3) note[note] parameter to the /htdocs/admin/dict.php?id=10 page; the (4) zip[MAIN_INFO_SOCIETE_ZIP] or email[mail] parameter to the /htdocs/admin/company.php page; the (5) url[defaulturl], field[defaultkey], or value[defaultvalue] parameter to the /htdocs/admin/defaultvalues.php page; the (6) key[transkey] or key[transvalue] parameter to the /htdocs/admin/translation.php page; or the (7) [main_motd] or [main_home] parameter to the /htdocs/admin/ihm.php page.
htdocs/user/passwordforgotten.php in Dolibarr 10.0.6 allows XSS via the Referer HTTP header.

NocoDB is software for building databases as spreadsheets. Prior to version 0.301.0, a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in NocoDB’s attachment handling mechanism. Authenticated users can upload malicious SVG files containing embedded JavaScript, which are later rendered inline and executed in the browsers of other users who view the attachment. Because the malicious payload is stored server-side and executed under the application’s origin, successful exploitation can lead to account compromise, data exfiltration and unauthorized actions performed on behalf of affected users. Version 0.301.0 patches the issue.
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in cronoh NanoVault up to 1.2.1. This issue affects the function executeJavaScript of the file /main.js of the component xrb URL Handler. The manipulation leads to cross site scripting. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Axigen Mail Server before 10.5.57 contains multiple stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the WebAdmin interface. Three instances exist: (1) the log file name parameter in the Local Services Log page, (2) certificate file content in the SSL Certificates View Usage feature, and (3) the Certificate File name parameter in the WebMail Listeners SSL settings. Attackers can inject malicious JavaScript payloads that execute in administrators' browsers when they access affected pages or features, enabling privilege escalation attacks where low-privileged admins can force high-privileged admins to perform unauthorized actions.
The edit profile function of Grocy through 4.3.0 allows stored XSS and resultant privilege escalation by uploading a crafted HTML or SVG file, a different issue than CVE-2024-8370.
Discourse AI is a Discourse plugin which provides a number of AI features. When sharing Discourse AI Bot conversations into posts, if the conversation had HTML entities those could leak into the Discourse application when a user visited a post with a onebox to said conversation. This issue has been addressed in commit `92f122c`. Users are advised to update. Users unable to update may remove all groups from `ai bot public sharing allowed groups` site setting.
In MISP before 2.5.28, app/View/Elements/Workflows/executionPath.ctp allows XSS in the workflow execution path.
macro-pdfviewer is a PDF Viewer Macro for XWiki using Mozilla pdf.js. The width parameter of the PDF viewer macro isn't properly escaped, allowing XSS for any user who can edit a page. XSS can impact the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the whole XWiki installation when an admin visits the page with the malicious code. This is fixed in 2.5.6.
Multiple XSS issues were discovered in Sage Enterprise Intelligence 2021 R1.1 that allow an attacker to execute JavaScript code in the context of users' browsers. The attacker needs to be authenticated to reach the vulnerable features. An issue is present in the Notify Users About Modification menu and the Notifications feature. A user can send malicious notifications and execute JavaScript code in the browser of every user who has enabled notifications. This is a stored XSS, and can lead to privilege escalation in the context of the application. (Another issue is present in the Favorites tab. The name of a favorite or a folder of favorites is interpreted as HTML, and can thus embed JavaScript code, which is executed when displayed. This is a self-XSS.)
Ampache is a web based audio/video streaming application and file manager. This vulnerability exists in the interface section of the Ampache menu, where users can change "Custom URL - Logo". This section is not properly sanitized, allowing for the input of strings that can execute JavaScript. This issue has been addressed in version 7.0.1 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. In versions 5.5.2 - #156 and below, an authenticated regular user can create a photo collection whose Collection Name contains HTML/JavaScript payloads, which making ClipBucket’s Manage Photos feature vulnerable to Stored XSS. The payload is rendered unsafely in the Admin → Manage Photos interface, causing it to execute in the administrator’s browser, therefore allowing an attacker to target administrators and perform actions with elevated privileges. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.2 - #157.
Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('cross-site scripting') in Microsoft Office SharePoint allows an authorized attacker to perform spoofing over a network.
Joplin v2.8.8 allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted payload injected into the Node titles.
Emby Server is a personal media server. Prior to version 4.8.1.0 and prior to Beta version 4.9.0.0-beta, a malicious user can send an authentication request with a manipulated X-Emby-Client value, which gets added to the devices section of the admin dashboard without sanitization. This issue has been patched in version 4.8.1.0 and Beta version 4.9.0.0-beta.
In Gogs, versions v0.6.5 through v0.12.10 are vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) that leads to an account takeover.
XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform offering runtime services for applications built on top of it. It is possible for a user without Script or Programming rights to craft a URL pointing to a page with arbitrary JavaScript. This requires social engineer to trick a user to follow the URL. This has been patched in XWiki 14.10.21, 15.5.5, 15.10.6 and 16.0.0.
VRCX is an assistant/companion application for VRChat. In versions prior to 2024.03.23, a CefSharp browser with over-permission and cross-site scripting via overlay notification can be combined to result in remote command execution. These vulnerabilities are patched in VRCX 2023.12.24. In addition to the patch, VRCX maintainers worked with the VRC team and blocked the older version of VRCX on the VRC's API side. Users who use the older version of VRCX must update their installation to continue using VRCX.
XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform offering runtime services for applications built on top of it. By creating a conflict when another user with more rights is currently editing a page, it is possible to execute JavaScript snippets on the side of the other user, which compromises the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the whole XWiki installation. This has been patched in XWiki 15.10.8 and 16.3.0RC1.
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of EdgeConnect SD-WAN Orchestrator could allow an authenticated remote attacker to conduct a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against an administrative user of the interface. A successful exploit allows an attacker to execute arbitrary script code in a victim's browser in the context of the affected interface.
A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Proxmox Virtual Environment prior to v7.2-3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML via non-existent endpoints under path /api2/html/.
Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. All versions of Argo CD starting with v1.0.0 are vulnerable to a cross-site scripting (XSS) bug allowing a malicious user to inject a `javascript:` link in the UI. When clicked by a victim user, the script will execute with the victim's permissions (up to and including admin). The script would be capable of doing anything which is possible in the UI or via the API, such as creating, modifying, and deleting Kubernetes resources. A patch for this vulnerability has been released in the following Argo CD versions: v2.4.1, v2.3.5, v2.2.10 and v2.1.16. There are no completely-safe workarounds besides upgrading.
An Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos Space allows an attacker to store script tags directly in web pages that, when viewed by another user, enable the attacker to execute commands with the target's administrative permissions. This issue affects all versions of Junos Space before 24.1R4.
The Web Server component of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO EBX Add-ons contains an easily exploitable vulnerability that allows a low privileged attacker with network access to execute Stored Cross Site Scripting (XSS) on the affected system. A successful attack using this vulnerability requires human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Affected releases are TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO EBX Add-ons: versions 5.4.1 and below.
A vulnerability in open-webui/open-webui version 0.3.8 allows an attacker with a user-level account to perform a session fixation attack. The session cookie for all users is set with the default `SameSite=Lax` and does not have the `Secure` flag enabled, allowing the session cookie to be sent over HTTP to a cross-origin domain. An attacker can exploit this by embedding a malicious markdown image in a chat, which, when viewed by an administrator, sends the admin's session cookie to the attacker's server. This can lead to a stealthy administrator account takeover, potentially resulting in remote code execution (RCE) due to the elevated privileges of administrator accounts.
The Web Server component of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO EBX contains an easily exploitable vulnerability that allows a low privileged attacker with network access to execute Stored Cross Site Scripting (XSS) on the affected system. A successful attack using this vulnerability requires human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Affected releases are TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO EBX: versions 6.0.0 through 6.0.8.

A cross-site scripting (xss) vulnerability exists in the videoAddNew functionality of WWBN AVideo 11.6 and dev master commit 3f7c0364. A specially-crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary Javascript execution. An attacker can get an authenticated user to send a crafted HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability.
Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. Due to the improper URL protocols filtering of links specified in the `link.argocd.argoproj.io` annotations in the application summary component, an attacker can achieve cross-site scripting with elevated permissions. All unpatched versions of Argo CD starting with v1.0.0 are vulnerable to a cross-site scripting (XSS) bug allowing a malicious user to inject a javascript: link in the UI. When clicked by a victim user, the script will execute with the victim's permissions (up to and including admin). This vulnerability allows an attacker to perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim via the API, such as creating, modifying, and deleting Kubernetes resources. A patch for this vulnerability has been released in Argo CD versions v2.10.3 v2.9.8, and v2.8.12. There are no completely-safe workarounds besides upgrading. The safest alternative, if upgrading is not possible, would be to create a Kubernetes admission controller to reject any resources with an annotation starting with link.argocd.argoproj.io or reject the resource if the value use an improper URL protocol. This validation will need to be applied in all clusters managed by ArgoCD.
DNN (formerly DotNetNuke) is an open-source web content management platform (CMS) in the Microsoft ecosystem. Prior to version 10.1.0, the Prompt module allows execution of commands that can return raw HTML. Malicious input, even if sanitized for display elsewhere, can be executed when processed through certain commands, leading to potential script execution (XSS). This issue has been patched in version 10.1.0.
Apifox through 2.1.6 is vulnerable to Cross Site Scripting (XSS) which can lead to remote code execution.
Prior to the patched version, there is an XSS vulnerability in the description fields within the Mautic application which could be exploited by a logged in user of Mautic with the appropriate permissions. This could lead to the user having elevated access to the system.
Turtlapp Turtle Note v0.7.2.6 does not filter the <meta> tag during markdown parsing, allowing attackers to execute HTML injection.

A cross-site scripting (xss) vulnerability exists in the dataset upload functionality of ClearML Enterprise Server 3.22.5-1533. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to an arbitrary html code. An attacker can send a series of HTTP requests to trigger this vulnerability.
The Simple Download Monitor WordPress plugin before 3.9.5 does not escape the "File Thumbnail" post meta before outputting it in some pages, which could allow users with a role as low as Contributor to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. Given the that XSS is triggered even when the Download is in a review state, contributor could make JavaScript code execute in a context of a reviewer such as admin and make them create a rogue admin account, or install a malicious plugin
Stud.IP 5.x through 5.3.3 allows XSS with resultant upload of executable files, because upload_action and edit_action in Admin_SmileysController do not check the file extension. This leads to remote code execution with the privileges of the www-data user. The fixed versions are 5.3.4, 5.2.6, 5.1.7, and 5.0.9.
The Volkov Labs Business Links panel for Grafana provides an interface to navigate using external links, internal dashboards, time pickers, and dropdown menus. Prior to version 2.4.0, a malicious actor with Editor privileges can escalate their privileges to Administrator and perform arbitrary administrative actions. This is possible because the plugin allows arbitrary JavaScript code injection in the [Layout] → [Link] → [URL] field. Version 2.4.0 contains a fix for the issue.
A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Altium Forum due to missing server-side input sanitization in forum post content. An authenticated attacker can inject arbitrary JavaScript into forum posts, which is stored and executed when other users view the affected post. Successful exploitation allows the attacker’s payload to execute in the context of the victim’s authenticated Altium 365 session, enabling unauthorized access to workspace data, including design files and workspace settings. Exploitation requires user interaction to view a malicious forum post.
Mealie 3.0.1 and earlier is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the recipe creation functionality. Unsanitized user input in the "note" and "text" fields of the "/api/recipes/{recipe_name}" endpoint is rendered in the frontend without proper escaping leading to persistent XSS.
A cross-site scripting (xss) vulnerability exists in the channelBody.php user name functionality of WWBN AVideo 11.6 and dev master commit 15fed957fb. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary Javascript execution. An attacker can get a user to visit a webpage to trigger this vulnerability.
ILIAS 7.25 (2023-09-12) allows any authenticated user to execute arbitrary operating system commands remotely, when a highly privileged account accesses an XSS payload. The injected commands are executed via the exec() function in the execQuoted() method of the ilUtil class (/Services/Utilities/classes/class.ilUtil.php) This allows attackers to inject malicious commands into the system, potentially compromising the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the ILIAS installation and the underlying operating system.
NamelessMC is a free, easy to use & powerful website software for Minecraft servers. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in NamelessMC before 2.2.3 allows remote authenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the dashboard text editor component. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.2.4.
XWiki Rendering is a generic rendering system that converts textual input in a given syntax (wiki syntax, HTML, etc) into another syntax (XHTML, etc). Starting in version 5.4.5 and prior to version 14.10, the XHTML syntax depended on the `xdom+xml/current` syntax which allows the creation of raw blocks that permit the insertion of arbitrary HTML content including JavaScript. This allows XSS attacks for users who can edit a document like their user profile (enabled by default). This has been fixed in version 14.10 by removing the dependency on the `xdom+xml/current` syntax from the XHTML syntax. Note that the `xdom+xml` syntax is still vulnerable to this attack. As it's main purpose is testing and its use is quite difficult, this syntax shouldn't be installed or used on a regular wiki. There are no known workarounds apart from upgrading.
