A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in yangzongzhuan RuoYi up to 4.8.1. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the component Image Source Handler. The manipulation leads to improper restriction of rendered ui layers. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
Drupal 9.3 implemented a generic entity access API for entity revisions. However, this API was not completely integrated with existing permissions, resulting in some possible access bypass for users who have access to use revisions of content generally, but who do not have access to individual items of node and media content. This vulnerability only affects sites using Drupal's revision system.
The Prevent Direct Access – Protect WordPress Files plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access and modification of data| due to a misconfigured capability check on the 'pda_lite_custom_permission_check' function in versions 2.8.6 to 2.8.8.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to access and change the protection status of media.
XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform offering runtime services for applications built on top of it. In affected versions any user with SCRIPT right can save a document with the right of the current user which allow accessing API requiring programming right if the current user has programming right. This has been patched in XWiki 13.0. Users are advised to update to resolve this issue. The only known workaround is to limit SCRIPT access.
An issue was discovered in the AbuseFilter extension for MediaWiki through 1.35.2. It incorrectly executed certain rules related to blocking accounts after account creation. Such rules would allow for user accounts to be created while blocking only the IP address used to create an account (and not the user account itself). Such rules could also be used by a nefarious, unprivileged user to catalog and enumerate any number of IP addresses related to these account creations.
A flaw was found in KubeVirt's Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) evaluation logic. The authorization mechanism improperly truncates subresource names, leading to incorrect permission evaluations. This allows authenticated users with specific custom roles to gain unauthorized access to subresources, potentially disclosing sensitive information or performing actions they are not permitted to do. Additionally, legitimate users may be denied access to resources.
Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in The Wikimedia Foundation Mediawiki - OAuth Extension allows Authentication Bypass. This issue affects Mediawiki - OAuth Extension: from 1.39 through 1.43.
Zoho ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus before 14202, ServiceDesk Plus MSP before 14300, and SupportCenter Plus before 14300 have a privilege escalation vulnerability in the Release module that allows unprivileged users to access the Reminders of a release ticket and make modifications.
A security defect was identified in Foundry workspace-server that enabled a user to bypass an authorization check and view settings related to 'Developer Mode'. This enabled users with insufficient privilege the ability to view and interact with Developer Mode settings in a limited capacity. A fix was deployed with workspace-server 7.7.0.
Budibase is an open-source low-code platform. Prior to 3.38.1, the row action trigger endpoint (POST /api/tables/:sourceId/actions/:actionId/trigger) fails to validate that the user-supplied rowId is within the scope of the view's row filters. A user with access to a filtered view can trigger row actions on any row in the underlying table, including rows explicitly excluded by the view's security filters. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.38.1.
Mattermost versions 11.2.x <= 11.2.2, 10.11.x <= 10.11.10, 11.4.x <= 11.4.0, 11.3.x <= 11.3.1 fail to restrict team-level access when processing membership sync from a remote cluster, which allows a malicious remote cluster to grant a user access to an entire private team instead of only the shared channel via sending crafted membership sync messages that trigger team membership assignment. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00574
OpenClaw before 2026.4.20 contains a tool policy bypass vulnerability allowing bundled MCP and LSP tools to circumvent configured tool restrictions. Attackers with local agent access can append restricted tools to the effective tool set after policy filtering, bypassing profile policies, allow/deny lists, owner-only restrictions, sandbox policies, and subagent policies.
Istio is an open platform to connect, manage, and secure microservices. In versions 1.25.0 through 1.27.8, 1.28.0 through 1.28.5, 1.29.0, and 1.29.1, the serviceAccounts and notServiceAccounts fields in AuthorizationPolicy incorrectly interpret dots (.) as a regular expression matcher. Because . is a valid character in a service account name, an AuthorizationPolicy ALLOW rule targeting a service account such as cert-manager.io also matches cert-manager-io, cert-managerXio, etc. A DENY rule targeting the same name fails to block those variants. Fixes are available in versions 1.29.2, 1.28.6, and 1.27.9.
Open WebUI is a self-hosted artificial intelligence platform designed to operate entirely offline. Prior to 0.9.0, the is_user_channel_member function checks whether a ChannelMember row exists but does not check the is_active field. When a user is deactivated from a group or DM channel (removed by the channel owner, or leaves voluntarily), their membership row persists with is_active=False and status='left'. Because the authorization check ignores this field, the deactivated user retains full read and write access to the channel via direct API calls. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.9.0.
OpenClaw before 2026.4.29 contains a policy bypass vulnerability in QQBot admin commands that allows authenticated senders to skip DM-only and allowFrom policy checks. Attackers can route admin commands from unauthorized senders or contexts to execute restricted behavior that policy should have blocked.
Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to versions 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2, an authorization bypass vulnerability in hidden Solved topics may allow unauthorized users to accept or unaccept solutions. Versions 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2 contain a patch. As a workaround, ensure only trusted users are part of the Site Setting for accept_all_solutions_allowed_groups.
Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to versions 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2, moderators can create Zendesk tickets for topics they do not have access to view. This affects all forums that use the Zendesk plugin. Versions 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2 contain a patch. No known workarounds are available.
Mattermost versions 10.4.x <= 10.4.2, 10.3.x <= 10.3.3, 9.11.x <= 9.11.8 fail to fail to enforce channel conversion restrictions, which allows members with permission to convert public channels to private ones to also convert private ones to public
IRIS is a web collaborative platform that helps incident responders share technical details during investigations. In versions prior to 2.4.28, users can create alerts for customers that are not assigned to them. This can be abused to falsely attribute fake alerts to customers. In combination with Cross-Site Scripting, this can also be used to exfiltrate alerts from other customers. Version 2.4.28 contains a patch.
Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Versions prior to 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2 have two authorization issues in the chat direct message API. First, when creating a direct message channel or adding users to an existing one, the `target_groups` parameter was passed directly to the user resolution query without checking group or member visibility for the acting user. An authenticated chat user could craft an API request with a known private/hidden group name and receive a channel containing that group's members, leaking their identities. Second, `can_chat?` only checked group membership, not the `chat_enabled` user preference. A chat-disabled user could create or query DM channels between other users via the direct messages API, potentially exposing private `last_message` content from the serialized channel response. Versions 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2 contain a patch. No known workarounds are available.
OpenClaw before 2026.4.20 contains an improper authorization vulnerability in paired-device pairing management that allows limited-scope sessions to enumerate and act on pairing requests. Attackers with paired-device access can approve or operate on unrelated pending device requests within the same gateway scope.
OpenClaw before 2026.3.28 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability in the chat.send endpoint that allows write-scoped gateway callers to persist admin-only verboseLevel session overrides. Attackers can exploit the /verbose parameter to bypass access controls and expose sensitive reasoning or tool output intended to be restricted to administrators.
OpenClaw before 2026.3.31 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in Discord slash command and autocomplete paths that fail to enforce group DM channel allowlist restrictions. Authorized Discord users can bypass channel restrictions by invoking slash commands, allowing access to restricted group DM channels.
OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.2.22 contain an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows clients authenticated with a shared gateway token to connect as role=node without device identity verification. Attackers can exploit this by claiming the node role during WebSocket handshake to inject unauthorized node.event calls, triggering agent.request and voice.transcript flows without proper device pairing.
OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.2.26 fail to enforce sender authorization in member and message subtype system event handlers, allowing unauthorized events to be enqueued. Attackers can bypass Slack DM allowlists and per-channel user allowlists by sending system events from non-allowlisted senders through message_changed, message_deleted, and thread_broadcast events.
OpenClaw before 2026.3.31 contains an access control bypass vulnerability in the Discord voice manager that allows attackers to bypass channel-level member access allowlist restrictions. Attackers can send Discord voice ingress requests before channel allowlist authorization is performed, gaining unauthorized access to restricted voice channels.
vantage6 is privacy preserving federated learning infrastructure. Prior to version 4.0.0, malicious users may try to get access to resources they are not allowed to see, by creating resources with integers as names. One example where this is a risk, is when users define which users are allowed to run algorithms on their node. This may be defined by username or user id. Now, for example, if user id 13 is allowed to run tasks, and an attacker creates a username with username '13', they would be wrongly allowed to run an algorithm. There may also be other places in the code where such a mixup of resource ID or name leads to issues. Version 4.0.0 contains a patch for this issue. The best solution is to check when resources are created or modified, that the resource name always starts with a character.
Adobe Commerce versions 2.4.7-p3, 2.4.6-p8, 2.4.5-p10, 2.4.4-p11, 2.4.8-beta1 and earlier are affected by an Incorrect Authorization vulnerability that could result in a security feature bypass. A low-privileged attacker could exploit this vulnerability to view or modify select information. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction.
Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in Apache Cassandra allowing users to access a datacenter or IP/CIDR groups they should not be able to when using CassandraNetworkAuthorizer or CassandraCIDRAuthorizer. Users with restricted data center access can update their own permissions via data control language (DCL) statements on affected versions. This issue affects Apache Cassandra: from 4.0.0 through 4.0.15 and from 4.1.0 through 4.1.7 for CassandraNetworkAuthorizer, and from 5.0.0 through 5.0.2 for both CassandraNetworkAuthorizer and CassandraCIDRAuthorizer. Operators using CassandraNetworkAuthorizer or CassandraCIDRAuthorizer on affected versions should review data access rules for potential breaches. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.0.16, 4.1.8, 5.0.3, which fixes the issue.
IBM Jazz Foundation 7.0.3 through 7.0.3 iFix019 and 7.1.0 through 7.1.0 iFix005 is vulnerable to access control violations that allows the users to view or access/perform actions beyond their expected capability.

IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next 7.1, and 7.2 could allow an authenticated user to view and edit data beyond their authorized access permissions.
NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source have a vulnerability in the ngx_stream_ssl_module module due to the improper handling of revoked certificates when configured with the ssl_verify_client on and ssl_ocsp on directives, allowing the TLS handshake to succeed even after an OCSP check identifies the certificate as revoked. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
An issue was discovered in the AbuseFilter extension for MediaWiki through 1.35.2. It improperly handled account blocks for certain automatically created MediaWiki user accounts, thus allowing nefarious users to remain unblocked.
IBM Security Guardium Key Lifecycle Manager 3.0, 3.0.1, 4.0, 4.1, and 4.1.1 could allow an authenticated user to perform actions that they should not have access to due to improper authorization. IBM X-Force ID: 247630.
XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform. Starting in version 3.0-milestone-1, it's possible to execute a script with the right of another user, provided the target user does not have programming right. The problem has been patched in XWiki 14.8-rc-1, 14.4.5, and 13.10.10. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
WeKan versions prior to 8.19 contain an authorization vulnerability in card move logic. A user can specify a destination board/list/swimlane without adequate authorization checks for the destination and without validating that destination objects belong to the destination board, potentially enabling unauthorized cross-board moves.
The WebChannel API, which is used to transport various information across processes, did not check the sending principal but rather accepted the principal being sent. This could have led to privilege escalation attacks. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 134, Firefox ESR 128.6, Thunderbird 134, and Thunderbird 128.6.
Pimcore Web2Print Tools Bundle adds tools for web-to-print use cases to Pimcore. Prior to 5.2.2 and 6.1.1, the application fails to enforce proper server-side authorization checks on the API endpoint responsible for managing "Favourite Output Channel Configurations." Testing revealed that an authenticated backend user without explicitely lacking permissions for this feature was still able to successfully invoke the endpoint and modify or retrieve these configurations. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.2.2 and 6.1.1.
Mastodon is a free, open-source social network server based on ActivityPub. Prior to versions 4.5.5, 4.4.12, and 4.3.18, an insecure direct object reference in the web push subscription update endpoint lets any authenticated user update another user's push subscription by guessing or obtaining the numeric subscription id. This can be used to disrupt push notifications for other users and also leaks the web push subscription endpoint. Any user with a web push subscription is impacted, because another authenticated user can tamper with their push subscription settings if they can guess or obtain the subscription id. This allows an attacker to disrupt push notifications by changing the policy (whether to filter notifications from non-followers or non-followed users) and subscribed notification types of their victims. Additionally, the endpoint returns the subscription object, which includes the push notification endpoint for this subscription, but not its keypair. Mastodon versions v4.5.5, v4.4.12, v4.3.18 are patched.
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 15.10 before 18.10.8, 18.11 before 18.11.5, and 19.0 before 19.0.2 that under certain conditions could have allowed an authenticated user with developer-role permissions to modify hidden merge requests due to incorrect authorization enforcements.
Kiuwan SAST improperly authorizes SSO logins for locally disabled mapped user accounts, allowing disabled users to continue accessing the application. Kiuwan Cloud was affected, and Kiuwan SAST on-premise (KOP) was affected before 2.8.2509.4.
OpenSupports exposes an endpoint that allows the list of 'supervised users' for any account to be edited, but it does not validate whether the actor is the owner of that list. A Level 1 staff member can modify the supervision relationship of a third party (the target user), who can then view the tickets of the added 'supervised' users. This breaks the authorization model and filters the content of other users' tickets. This issue affects OpenSupports: 4.11.0.
Autolab is a course management service that enables auto-graded programming assignments. There is a vulnerability in version 3.0.1 where CAs can view or edit the grade for any submission ID, even if they are not a CA for the class that has the submission. The endpoints only check that the CAs have the authorization level of a CA in the class in the endpoint, which is not necessarily the class the submission is attached to. Version 3.0.2 contains a patch. No known workarounds are available.
Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content. In affected versions if there are two overlapping policies for the `update` action that allow access to different fields, instead of correctly checking access permissions against the item they apply for the user is allowed to update the superset of fields allowed by any of the policies. E.g. have one policy allowing update access to `field_a` if the `id == 1` and one policy allowing update access to `field_b` if the `id == 2`. The user with both these policies is allowed to update both `field_a` and `field_b` for the items with ids `1` and `2`. Before v11, if a user was allowed to update an item they were allowed to update the fields that the single permission, that applied to that item, listed. With overlapping permissions this isn't as clear cut anymore and the union of fields might not be the fields the user is allowed to update for that specific item. The solution that this PR introduces is to evaluate the permissions for each field that the user tries to update in the validateItemAccess DB query, instead of only verifying access to the item as a whole. This is done by, instead of returning the actual field value, returning a flag that indicates if the user has access to that field. This uses the same case/when mechanism that is used for stripping out non permitted field that is at the core of the permissions engine. As a result, for every item that the access is validated for, the expected result is an item that has either 1 or null for all the "requested" fields instead of any of the actual field values. These results are not useful for anything other than verifying the field level access permissions. The final check in validateItemAccess can either fail if the number of items does not match the number of items the access is checked for (ie. the user does not have access to the item at all) or if not all of the passed in fields have access permissions for any of the returned items. This is a vulnerability that allows update access to unintended fields, potentially impacting the password field for user accounts. This has been addressed in version 11.1.2 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
In version v0.3.8 of open-webui, an improper privilege management vulnerability exists in the API endpoints GET /api/v1/documents/ and POST /rag/api/v1/doc. This vulnerability allows a lower-privileged user to access and overwrite files managed by a higher-privileged admin. By exploiting this vulnerability, an attacker can view metadata of files uploaded by an admin and overwrite these files, compromising the integrity and availability of the RAG models.
Ree6 is a moderation bot. This vulnerability would allow other server owners to create configurations such as "Better-Audit-Logging" which contain a channel from another server as a target. This would mean you could send log messages to another Guild channel and bypass raid and webhook protections. A specifically crafted log message could allow spamming and mass advertisements. This issue has been patched in version 1.9.9. There are currently no known workarounds.
