VDB-250570 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability.
A vulnerability was found in RamseyK httpserver. It has been rated as critical. This issue affects the function ResourceHost::getResource of the file src/ResourceHost.cpp of the component URI Handler. The manipulation of the argument uri leads to path traversal: '../filedir'. The attack may be initiated remotely. The name of the patch is 1a0de56e4dafff9c2f9c8f6b130a764f7a50df52. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The associated identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-216863.
A path traversal vulnerability in FusionDirectory before 1.5 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files on the host that end with .png (and .svg or .xpm for some configurations) via the icon parameter of a GET request to geticon.php.
A path traversal vulnerability [CWE-23] in the API of FortiWeb 7.0.0 through 7.0.1, 6.3.0 through 6.3.19, 6.4 all versions, 6.2 all versions, 6.1 all versions, 6.0 all versions may allow an authenticated attacker to retrieve specific parts of files from the underlying file system via specially crafted web requests.
ArcGIS GeoEvent Server versions 10.8.1 and below has a read-only directory path traversal vulnerability that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks and read arbitrary files on the system.
Discord-Recon is a bot for the Discord chat service. In versions of Discord-Recon 0.0.3 and prior, a remote attacker is able to read local files from the server that can disclose important information. As a workaround, a bot maintainer can locate the file `app.py` and add `.replace('..', '')` into the `Path` variable inside of the `recon` function. The vulnerability is patched in version 0.0.4.
The AGG Software Web Server version 4.0.40.1014 and prior is vulnerable to a path traversal attack, which may allow an attacker to read arbitrary files from the file system.
The resolveRepositoryPath function doesn't properly validate user input and a malicious user may traverse to any valid Git repository outside the repoRoot. This issue may lead to unauthorized access of private Git repositories as long as the malicious user knows or brute-forces the location of the repository.
Directory traversal vulnerability in the web server in SpecView 2.5 build 853 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a ... (dot dot dot) in a URI.
A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in Chengdu Flash Flood Disaster Monitoring and Warning System 2.0. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file \Service\FileDownload.ashx. The manipulation of the argument Files leads to path traversal: '../filedir'. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. VDB-236206 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability.
VISAM VBASE Editor version 11.5.0.2 and VBASE Web-Remote Module may allow input passed in the URL that is not properly verified before use, which may allow an attacker to read arbitrary files from local resources.
Spring Cloud Config, versions 2.2.x prior to 2.2.3, versions 2.1.x prior to 2.1.9, and older unsupported versions allow applications to serve arbitrary configuration files through the spring-cloud-config-server module. A malicious user, or attacker, can send a request using a specially crafted URL that can lead to a directory traversal attack.
A vulnerability has been identified in syngo Dynamics (All versions < VA40G HF01). syngo Dynamics application server hosts a web service using an operation with improper write access control that could allow directory listing in any folder accessible to the account assigned to the website’s application pool.
A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Guangzhou Huayi Intelligent Technology Jeewms up to 20241229. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /wmOmNoticeHController.do. The manipulation leads to path traversal: '../filedir'. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 20250101 is able to address this issue. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component.
A vulnerability has been identified in EN100 Ethernet module DNP3 variant (All versions), EN100 Ethernet module IEC 61850 variant (All versions < V4.37), EN100 Ethernet module IEC104 variant (All versions), EN100 Ethernet module Modbus TCP variant (All versions), EN100 Ethernet module PROFINET IO variant (All versions). A vulnerability in the integrated web server of the affected devices could allow unauthorized attackers to obtain sensitive information about the device, including logs and configurations. At the time of advisory publication no public exploitation of this security vulnerability was known.
A relative path traversal vulnerability found in Advan VD-1 firmware versions up to 230. It allows attackers to download arbitrary files via url cgibin/ExportSettings.cgi?Download=filepath, without any authentication.
N-central is vulnerable to a path traversal that allows unintended access to the Apache Tomcat WEB-INF directory. Customer data is not exposed. This vulnerability is present in all deployments of N-central prior to N-central 2024.6.
LCDS Laquis SCADA prior to version 4.1.0.4150 allows a user-supplied path in file operations prior to proper validation. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose sensitive information under the context of the web server process.
The affected products are vulnerable to directory traversal, which may allow an attacker to obtain arbitrary operating system files.
An incorrect limitation of a path to a restricted directory (path traversal) has been detected in Pluck CMS, affecting version 4.7.18. An unauthenticated attacker could extract sensitive information from the server via the absolute path of a file located in the same directory or subdirectory as the module, but not from recursive directories.
A path traversal traversal vulnerability in obs-service-tar_scm of Open Build Service allows remote attackers to cause access files not in the current build. On the server itself this is prevented by confining the worker via KVM. Affected releases are openSUSE Open Build Service: versions prior to 70d1aa4cc4d7b940180553a63805c22fc62e2cf0.
In ABB SREA-01 revisions A, B, C: application versions up to 3.31.5, and SREA-50 revision A: application versions up to 3.32.8, an attacker may access internal files of ABB SREA-01 and SREA-50 legacy remote monitoring tools without any authorization over the network using a HTTP request which refers to files using ../../ relative paths. Once the internal password file is retrieved, the password hash can be identified using a brute force attack. There is also an exploit allowing running of commands after authorization.
http4s before versions 0.18.26, 0.20.20, and 0.21.2 has a local file inclusion vulnerability. This vulnerability applies to all users of org.http4s.server.staticcontent.FileService, org.http4s.server.staticcontent.ResourceService and org.http4s.server.staticcontent.WebjarService. URI normalization is applied incorrectly. Requests whose path info contain ../ or // can expose resources outside of the configured location. This issue is patched in versions 0.18.26, 0.20.20, and 0.21.2. Note that 0.19.0 is a deprecated release and has never been supported.
Next.js versions before 9.3.2 have a directory traversal vulnerability. Attackers could craft special requests to access files in the dist directory (.next). This does not affect files outside of the dist directory (.next). In general, the dist directory only holds build assets unless your application intentionally stores other assets under this directory. This issue is fixed in version 9.3.2.
