Due to insufficient input validation, SAP Commerce (Swagger UI) allows an unauthenticated attacker to inject the malicious code from remote sources, which can be leveraged by an attacker to execute a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack. This could lead to a high impact on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data in SAP Commerce.
User management functionality in SAP NetWeaver Application Server Java is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). This could enable an attacker to inject malicious payload that gets stored and executed when a user accesses the functionality, hence leading to information disclosure or unauthorized data modifications within the scope of victims browser. There is no impact on availability.
The Data Services Management Console does not sufficiently encode user-controlled inputs, allowing an attacker to inject malicious script. When a targeted victim, who is already logged in, clicks on the compromised link, the injected script gets executed within the scope of victims browser. An attacker could thereby control the behavior of this web-application.
SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence (BI Workspace) allows an unauthenticated attacker to craft and store malicious script within a workspace. When the victim accesses the workspace, the script will execute in their browser enabling the attacker to potentially access sensitive session information, modify or make browser information unavailable. This leads to a high impact on confidentiality and low impact on integrity, availability.

After successful exploitation, an attacker with user level access can cause high impact on confidentiality, modify some information and can cause unavailability of the application at user level.
SAP NetWeaver Application Server Java does not sufficiently handle user input, resulting in a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability. The application allows attackers with basic user privileges to store a Javascript payload on the server, which could be later executed in the victim's web browser. With this the attacker might be able to read or modify information associated with the vulnerable web page.
SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform allows an attacker to inject JavaScript code in Web Intelligence reports. This code is then executed in the victim's browser each time the vulnerable page is visited by the victim. On successful exploitation, an attacker could cause limited impact on confidentiality and integrity within the scope of victims browser. There is no impact on availability. This vulnerability occurs only when script/html execution is enabled by the administrator in Central Management Console.

After successful exploitation, an attacker with user level access can read and modify some sensitive information but cannot delete the data.
SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal (KMC) does not sufficiently encode user-controlled inputs, resulting in Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability in KMC servlet. An attacker could craft a script and trick the user into clicking it. When a victim who is registered on the portal clicks on such link, confidentiality and integrity of their web browser session could be compromised.

This vulnerability allows users to modify website content and on successful exploitation, an attacker can cause low impact to the confidentiality and integrity of the application.
SAP Financial Consolidation does not sufficiently encode user-controlled inputs, resulting in Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. These endpoints are exposed over the network. The vulnerability can exploit resources beyond the vulnerable component. On successful exploitation, an attacker can cause limited impact to confidentiality of the application.
SAP Financial Consolidation allows data to enter a Web application through an untrusted source. These endpoints are exposed over the network and it allows the user to modify the content from the web site. On successful exploitation, an attacker can cause significant impact to confidentiality and integrity of the application.
SAP CRM WebClient UI - version S4FND 102, S4FND 103, S4FND 104, S4FND 105, S4FND 106, WEBCUIF 701, WEBCUIF 731, WEBCUIF 746, WEBCUIF 747, WEBCUIF 748, WEBCUIF 800, WEBCUIF 801, does not sufficiently encode user-controlled inputs, resulting in Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An attacker with low privileges can cause limited impact to integrity of the application data after successful exploitation. There is no impact on confidentiality and availability.

SAP NetWeaver Application Server for ABAP and ABAP Platform do not sufficiently encode user controlled inputs, resulting in Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An attacker can control code that is executed within a user’s browser, which could result in modification, deletion of data, including accessing or deleting files, or stealing session cookies which an attacker could use to hijack a user’s session. Hence, this could have impact on Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of the system.
SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence - version 420, has a URL with parameter that could be vulnerable to XSS attack. The attacker could send a malicious link to a user that would possibly allow an attacker to retrieve the sensitive information.
SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP does not sufficiently encode user-controlled inputs, leading to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This enables an attacker, without requiring any privileges, to inject malicious JavaScript into a website. When a user visits the compromised page, the injected script gets executed, potentially compromising the confidentiality and integrity within the scope of the victims browser. Availability is not impacted.
SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform (Web Intelligence) contains a deprecated web application endpoint that is not properly secured. An attacker could take advantage of this by injecting a malicious url in the data returned to the user. On successful exploitation, there could be a limited impact on confidentiality and integrity within the scope of victims browser. There is no impact on availability.
SAP NetWeaver (Design Time Repository) - version 7.50, returns an unfavorable content type for some versioned files, which could allow an authorized attacker to create a file with a malicious content and send a link to a victim in an email or instant message. Under certain circumstances, this could lead to Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability.
SAP Business Planning and Consolidation - versions 740, 750, allows an authorized attacker to upload a malicious file, resulting in Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability. After successful exploitation, an attacker can cause limited impact on confidentiality and integrity of the application.

The Resource Settings page allows a high privilege attacker to load exploitable payload to be stored and reflected whenever a User visits the page. In a successful attack, some information could be obtained and/or modified. However, the attacker does not have control over what information is obtained, or the amount or kind of loss is limited.
SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal is vulnerable to reflected cross site scripting due to insufficient encoding of user-controlled input. An unauthenticated attacker could craft a malicious URL and trick a user to click it. If the victim clicks on this crafted URL before it times out, then the attacker could read and manipulate user content in the browser.

Canarytokens is an open source tool which helps track activity and actions on your network. A Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability was identified in the history page of triggered Canarytokens prior to sha-fb61290. An attacker who discovers an HTTP-based Canarytoken (a URL) can use this to execute Javascript in the Canarytoken's trigger history page (domain: canarytokens.org) when the history page is later visited by the Canarytoken's creator. This vulnerability could be used to disable or delete the affected Canarytoken, or view its activation history. It might also be used as a stepping stone towards revealing more information about the Canarytoken's creator to the attacker. For example, an attacker could recover the email address tied to the Canarytoken, or place Javascript on the history page that redirect the creator towards an attacker-controlled Canarytoken to show the creator's network location. This vulnerability is similar to CVE-2022-31113, but affected parameters reported differently from the Canarytoken trigger request. An attacker could only act on the discovered Canarytoken. This issue did not expose other Canarytokens or other Canarytoken creators. Canarytokens Docker images sha-fb61290 and later contain a patch for this issue.
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Crosswork Change Automation could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the web-based management interface of an affected system. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input by the web-based management interface of an affected system. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a user to click a crafted link. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the affected interface or access sensitive, browser-based information.
