FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.180, the application incorrectly checks user access rights for conversations. Users with show_only_assigned_conversations enabled can assign themselves to an arbitrary conversation from the mailbox to which they have access, thereby bypassing the restriction on viewing conversations. This issue has been patched in version 1.8.180.
FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.180, the System does not provide a check on which "clients" of the System an authorized user can view and edit, and which ones they cannot. As a result, an authorized user who does not have access to any of the existing mailboxes, as well as to any of the existing conversations, has the ability to view and edit the System's clients. The limitation of client visibility can be implemented by the limit_user_customer_visibility setting, however, in the specified scenarios, there is no check for the presence of this setting. This issue has been patched in version 1.8.180.
FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.180, the application's logic requires the user to perform a correct sequence of actions to implement a functional capability, but the application allows access to the functional capability without correctly completing one or more actions in the sequence. The leaves the attributes of Mailbox object able to be changed by the fill method. This issue has been patched in version 1.8.180.
FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to 1.8.212, the endpoint GET /thread/read/{conversation_id}/{thread_id} does not require authentication and does not validate whether the given thread_id belongs to the given conversation_id. This allows any unauthenticated attacker to mark any thread as read by passing arbitrary IDs, enumerate valid thread IDs via HTTP response codes (200 vs 404), and manipulate opened_at timestamps across conversations (IDOR). This vulnerability is fixed in 1.8.212.
FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.211, checkIpByMask() in app/Misc/Helper.php checks whether the input IP contains a / character. Plain IP addresses never contain /, so the function always returns false without checking any CIDR ranges. The entire 10.0.0.0/8 and 172.16.0.0/12 private ranges are unprotected. This issue has been patched in version 1.8.211.
FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. In versions 1.8.208 and below, the ThreadPolicy::edit() method contains a broken access control vulnerability that allows any authenticated user (regardless of role or mailbox access) to read and modify all customer-created thread messages across all mailboxes. This flaw enables silent modification of customer messages (evidence tampering), bypasses the entire mailbox permission model, and constitutes a GDPR/compliance violation. The issue has been fixed in version 1.8.209.
FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.179, when creating a conversation from a message in another conversation, there is no check to ensure that the user has the ability to view this message. Thus, the user can view arbitrary messages from other mailboxes or from other conversations to which they do not have access (access restriction to conversations is implemented by the show_only_assigned_conversations setting, which is also not checked). This issue has been patched in version 1.8.179.
FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.215, `MailboxesController::updateSave()` persists `chat_start_new` outside the allowed-field filter. A user with only the mailbox `sig` permission sees only the signature field in the UI, but can still change the hidden mailbox-wide chat setting via direct POST. Version 1.8.215 fixes the vulnerability.
FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.215, customer-thread editing is authorized through `ThreadPolicy::edit()`, which checks mailbox access but does not apply the assigned-only restriction from `ConversationPolicy`. A user who cannot view a conversation can still load and edit customer-authored threads inside it. Version 1.8.215 fixes the vulnerability.
FreeScout is a free help desk and shared inbox built with PHP's Laravel framework. Prior to version 1.8.217, a user holding the PERM_EDIT_USERS permission (intended for general user-profile editing) can read and modify the notification subscriptions of any other user, including admins, by sending a single POST request. This is a sibling of CVE-2025-48472's notification authorization bypass — the prior fix did not cover this code path. A non-admin attacker can silently disable an admin's email/browser/mobile notifications, suppressing security alerts and conversation-assignment notices. This issue has been patched in version 1.8.217.
FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.215, when `APP_SHOW_ONLY_ASSIGNED_CONVERSATIONS` is enabled, direct conversation view correctly blocks users who are neither the assignee nor the creator. The `save_draft` AJAX path is weaker. A direct POST can create a draft inside a conversation that is hidden in the UI. Version 1.8.215 fixes the vulnerability.
An incorrect authorization vulnerability has been reported to affect File Station 6. If a remote attacker gains a user account, they can then exploit the vulnerability to bypass intended access restrictions. We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version: File Station 5 5.5.6.5243 and later
The dashboard permissions API does not verify the target dashboard scope and only checks the dashboards.permissions:* action. As a result, a user who has permission management rights on one dashboard can read and modify permissions on other dashboards. This is an organization‑internal privilege escalation.
Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. From version 9.8.0 to before version 9.9.1-alpha.3, the routeAllowList server option restricts external client access to a configured list of REST API routes. The check is only enforced as Express middleware against the outer HTTP request URL, so the /batch handler dispatches each sub-request to the internal router without re-running the allow-list check. An external caller whose outer route matches batch can issue batch sub-requests to any REST API route that the operator omitted from the allow-list. Authentication, ACL, CLP, and other inner-route authorization controls still apply — only the operator-configured route firewall is bypassed. This issue has been patched in version 9.9.1-alpha.3.
OpenBao's AWS Plugin generates AWS access credentials based on IAM policies. Prior to version 0.1.1, the AWS Plugin is vulnerable to cross-account IAM role Impersonation in the AWS auth method. The vulnerability allows an IAM role from an untrusted AWS account to authenticate by impersonating a role with the same name in a trusted account, leading to unauthorized access. This impacts all users of the auth-aws plugin who operate in a multi-account AWS environment where IAM role names may not be unique across accounts. This vulnerability has been patched in version 0.1.1 of the auth-aws plugin. A workaround for this issue involves guaranteeing that IAM role names are unique across all AWS accounts that could potentially interact with your OpenBao environment, and to audit for any duplicate IAM roles.
Galette is a membership management web application for non profit organizations. Starting in version 0.9.6 and prior to version 1.2.0, attackers with group manager role can bypass intended restrictions allowing unauthorized access and changes despite role-based controls. Since it requires privileged access initially, exploitation is restricted to malicious insiders or compromised group managers accounts. Version 1.2.0 fixes the issue.
Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in Apache OFBiz. This issue affects Apache OFBiz: through 18.12.14. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 18.12.15, which fixes the issue. Unauthenticated endpoints could allow execution of screen rendering code of screens if some preconditions are met (such as when the screen definitions don't explicitly check user's permissions because they rely on the configuration of their endpoints).
In jupyterhub-kubespawner before 0.12, certain usernames will be able to craft particular server names which will grant them access to the default server of other users who have matching usernames. This has been fixed in 0.12.
Adobe Commerce versions 2.4.9-alpha2, 2.4.8-p2, 2.4.7-p7, 2.4.6-p12, 2.4.5-p14, 2.4.4-p15 and earlier are affected by an Incorrect Authorization vulnerability. A low-privileged attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass security measures and maintain unauthorized access. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction.
In JetBrains TeamCity before 2022.04.7, 2022.10.6, 2023.05.6, 2023.11.5, 2024.03.2 a third-party agent could impersonate a cloud agent
Frappe is a full-stack web application framework. Prior to versions 14.66.3 and 15.16.0, file permission can be bypassed using certain endpoints, granting less privileged users permission to delete or clone a file. Versions 14.66.3 and 15.16.0 contain a patch for this issue. No known workarounds are available.

Budibase is an open-source low-code platform. Prior to 3.39.0, the single-datasource GET and PUT routes are guarded by generic TABLE READ, not by Builder/Admin permission or datasource-specific ownership/resource checks. The built-in Basic app user role maps to the WRITE permission set, which includes table read/write and query write. A Basic user can therefore read an existing REST datasource, receive redacted authConfigs values, submit an update that changes only config.url while keeping the redacted placeholders, and trigger an existing saved relative-path REST query. During update, mergeConfigs() restores the old stored secret when it sees the redaction placeholder. During query execution, Budibase prefixes the attacker-controlled datasource config.url to the relative query path and applies the resolved stored auth headers. The result is server-side disclosure of the builder-configured REST Authorization secret to an attacker-controlled listener. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.39.0.
Vulnerability in the Oracle MES for Process Manufacturing product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Device Integration). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.13. Sunnet eHRD, a human training and development management system, contains a vulnerability of Broken Access Control. After login, attackers can use a specific URL, access unauthorized functionality and data.
Live Helper Chat is an open-source application that enables live support websites. In 4.84v, the Live Helper Chat REST API chat update endpoint allows a REST user with lhchat/use to update a chat in a department they cannot read. The endpoint accepts arbitrary chat object fields, so the user can change the chat hash and status and then access or tamper with the chat through visitor/widget paths. The same write primitive can set operation_admin, which is later emitted as operator-side JavaScript.
Vulnerability in the Oracle Enterprise Asset Management product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Work Definition Issues). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.11-12.2.13. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Enterprise Asset Management. RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.2.0 to before 4.2.4, RabbitMQ's MQTT plugin allows for topic-level authorization using regular expressions with variable substitution. Administrators can create patterns such as ^{client_id}-sensors$ to restrict user access to topics that include their client ID. However, the client_id is provided by the user in the MQTT CONNECT packet and is inserted into the regex pattern without escaping special regex characters. This flaw enables an authenticated MQTT user to inject regex operators to bypass authorization. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.4 and 4.3.0.
Portainer Community Edition is a lightweight service delivery platform for containerized applications that can be used to manage Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes and ACI environments. From 2.33.0 to before 2.33., Portainer proxies requests to Kubernetes clusters through a middleware layer (kubeClientMiddleware) that validates the requesting user's token before forwarding traffic to the cluster. When security.RetrieveTokenData returned an error, the middleware wrote an HTTP 403 response but was missing a return statement — execution continued into the handler with a nil tokenData value. The Kubernetes endpoints sit behind Portainer's outer AuthenticatedAccess bouncer, so an attacker requires a valid Portainer session. However, a user whose secondary token validation fails in kubeClientMiddleware — for example a user without permission to access a given Kubernetes endpoint — would have their request forwarded to the cluster anyway, bypassing the authorization check. The same defect was present in both the CE and EE codebases. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.33.8.
OpenClaw before 2026.4.8 contains a security bypass vulnerability in node.invoke(browser.proxy) that allows mutation of persistent browser profiles. Attackers can exploit this path to circumvent the browser.request persistent profile-mutation guard and modify browser configurations.
Clerk JavaScript is the official JavaScript repository for Clerk authentication. has(), auth.protect(), and related authorization predicates in @clerk/shared, @clerk/nextjs, @clerk/backend, and other framework SDKs can return true for certain combined authorization checks when the result should be false, allowing a gated action to proceed for a user who does not satisfy the full set of requested conditions. This call shape can be bypassed if certain conditions are met: a has() or auth.protect() call that combines a reverification check with any of role, permission, feature, or plan, or that combines a billing check (feature or plan) with a role or permission check. This vulnerability is fixed in @clerk/clerk-js 5.125.10 and 6.7.5.
Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. Starting in version 0.18.0 and prior to version 2.2.1, when a user account is disabled or locked, the status check is only enforced on the local login and JWT token refresh paths. Three other authentication paths — API tokens, CalDAV basic auth, and OpenID Connect — do not verify user status, allowing disabled or locked users to continue accessing the API and syncing data. Version 2.2.1 patches the issue.
SciTokens C++ is a minimal library for creating and using SciTokens from C or C++. Prior to version 1.4.1, scitokens-cpp is vulnerable to an authorization bypass in path-based scope validation. The enforcer used a simple string-prefix comparison when checking whether a requested resource path was covered by a token's authorized scope path. Because the check did not require a path-segment boundary, a token scoped to one path could incorrectly authorize access to sibling paths that merely started with the same prefix. This issue has been patched in version 1.4.1.
Nginx UI is a web user interface for the Nginx web server. Prior to version 2.3.4, a user who was disabled by an administrator can use previously issued API tokens for up to the token lifetime. In practice, disabling a compromised account does not actually terminate that user’s access, so an attacker who already stole a JWT can continue reading and modifying protected resources after the account is marked disabled. Since tokens can be used to create new accounts, it is possible the disabled user to maintain the privilege. Version 2.3.4 patches the issue.
OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.2.25 fail to enforce sender authorization checks for interactive callbacks including block_action, view_submission, and view_closed in shared workspace deployments. Unauthorized workspace members can bypass allowFrom restrictions and channel user allowlists to enqueue system-event text into active sessions.
OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.2.26 contain an authorization bypass vulnerability in the pairing-store access control for direct message pairing policy that allows attackers to reuse pairing approvals across multiple accounts. An attacker approved as a sender in one account can be automatically accepted in another account in multi-account deployments without explicit approval, bypassing authorization boundaries.
REVA is an interoperability platform. Prior to 2.42.3 and 2.40.3, a bug in the GRPC authorization middleware of the "Reva" component of OpenCloud allows a malicious user to bypass the scope verification of a public link. By exploiting this via the the "archiver" service this can be leveraged to create an archive (zip or tar-file) containing all resources that this creator of the public link has access to. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.42.3 and 2.40.3.
Argo Workflows is an open source container-native workflow engine for orchestrating parallel jobs on Kubernetes. Prior to versions 3.7.14 and 4.0.5, a user with create Workflow permission can bypass templateReferencing: Strict to get host network access, switch service accounts, override pod security context, add tolerations to schedule on control-plane nodes, or enable SA token mounting. This defeats the stated purpose of the feature. The practical impact depends on what Kubernetes-level controls are in place. Clusters with PodSecurity admission or OPA/Gatekeeper would independently block some of these (like hostNetwork). Clusters that rely on Argo's Strict mode as the primary enforcement layer are fully exposed. This issue has been patched in versions 3.7.14 and 4.0.5.
A vulnerability was identified in the XPC services of Fantastical. The services failed to implement proper client authorization checks in its listener:shouldAcceptNewConnection method, unconditionally accepting requests from any local process. As a result, any local, unprivileged process could connect to the XPC service and access its methods. This issue has been resolved in version 4.0.16.
Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content. Prior to 11.17.0, aggregate functions (min, max) applied to fields with the conceal special type incorrectly return raw database values instead of the masked placeholder. When combined with groupBy, any authenticated user with read access to the affected collection can extract concealed field values, including static API tokens and two-factor authentication secrets from directus_users. This vulnerability is fixed in 11.17.0.
File Browser is a file managing interface for uploading, deleting, previewing, renaming, and editing files within a specified directory. Prior to 2.63.1, when an admin revokes a user's Share and Download permissions, existing share links created by that user remain fully accessible to unauthenticated users. The public share download handler does not re-check the share owner's current permissions. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.63.1.
A vulnerability has been discovered in eladmin v2.7 and before. This vulnerability allows for an arbitrary user password reset under any user permission level.
MinIO is a high-performance object storage system. In all versions prior to RELEASE.2025-10-15T17-29-55Z, a privilege escalation vulnerability allows service accounts and STS (Security Token Service) accounts with restricted session policies to bypass their inline policy restrictions when performing operations on their own account, specifically when creating new service accounts for the same user. The vulnerability exists in the IAM policy validation logic where the code incorrectly relied on the DenyOnly argument when validating session policies for restricted accounts. When a session policy is present, the system should validate that the action is allowed by the session policy, not just that it is not denied. An attacker with valid credentials for a restricted service or STS account can create a new service account for itself without policy restrictions, resulting in a new service account with full parent privileges instead of being restricted by the inline policy. This allows the attacker to access buckets and objects beyond their intended restrictions and modify, delete, or create objects outside their authorized scope. The vulnerability is fixed in version RELEASE.2025-10-15T17-29-55Z.
