better-auth passkey before 1.4.0 IDOR via delete-passkey

better-auth passkey versions before 1.4.0 contain an insecure direct object reference vulnerability in the passkey deletion endpoint that allows authenticated users to delete arbitrary passkeys by ID. Attackers with valid sessions can submit crafted requests to the delete-passkey endpoint with enumerated passkey IDs to remove other users' passkeys.

@better-auth/stripe before 1.6.21 Authorization Bypass via Organization Subscription

@better-auth/stripe versions >= 1.4.11 and < 1.6.21, and >= 1.7.0-beta.0 and < 1.7.0-beta.10, contain an authorization bypass in organization subscription actions. The middleware validates the organization ID taken from the request query string against the authorizeReference callback, but the handler reads the organization ID only from the request body and falls back to the caller's active organization from their session. When these differ, an authenticated member of multiple organizations can perform subscription actions (cancel, change plan, restore, billing portal access) against an organization they belong to but should not manage, and can access another organization's billing details including payment methods, invoices, and subscription state.

better-auth SCIM 1.5.0 before 1.7.0-beta.4 Authorization Bypass

better-auth SCIM versions from 1.5.0 before 1.7.0-beta.4 fail to bind non-organization SCIM providers to their creator by default, allowing authenticated users to manage other users' providers. Attackers can regenerate SCIM bearer tokens, invalidate legitimate tokens, and authenticate to SCIM API routes with the attacker-controlled token.

Rallly Improper Authorization in Comment Deletion Endpoint Allows Unauthorized Comment Removal

Rallly is an open-source scheduling and collaboration tool. Prior to version 4.5.4, an authorization flaw in the comment deletion API allows any authenticated user to delete comments belonging to other users, including poll owners and administrators. The endpoint relies solely on the comment ID for deletion and does not validate whether the requesting user owns the comment or has permission to remove it. This issue has been patched in version 4.5.4.

OpenReplay: Cross-user IDOR in notes and dashboard widgets

OpenReplay is a self-hosted session replay suite. In 1.27.0 and earlier, three dashboard and note mutation functions ran their SQL without the ownership predicate that their sibling read and edit functions use: notes.delete filtered only on note id and project id, while dashboards.update_widget and dashboards.remove_widget filtered only on dashboard id and widget id, allowing any authenticated member to delete another user's private session notes and remove or rewrite widgets on another user's private dashboards.

TypeBot: Cross-Workspace Theme Template IDOR (Modification and Deletion)

TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. Versions 3.15.2 and below have an Insecure Direct Object Reference vulnerability through cross-workspace Theme Template modification and deletion. The handleSaveThemeTemplate and handleDeleteThemeTemplate handlers validate that the authenticated user is a non-guest member of the provided workspaceId, but then operate on themeTemplateId via Prisma queries that do NOT include workspaceId in the WHERE clause. This allows any authenticated user to modify or delete theme templates belonging to any other workspace and may expose Template IDs via shared typebots or network traffic. This issue has been fixed in version 3.16.0.

Chamilo LMS has an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR)

Chamilo LMS is a learning management system. Prior to 1.11.38 and 2.0.0-RC.3, Chamilo LMS contains an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability in the Learning Path progress saving endpoint. The file lp_ajax_save_item.php accepts a uid (user ID) parameter directly from $_REQUEST and uses it to load and modify another user's Learning Path progress — including score, status, completion, and time — without verifying that the requesting user matches the target user ID. Any authenticated user enrolled in a course can overwrite another user's Learning Path progress by simply changing the uid parameter in the request. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.11.38 and 2.0.0-RC.3.

Open WebUI's process_files_batch() endpoint missing ownership check, allows unauthorized file overwrite

Open WebUI is a self-hosted artificial intelligence platform designed to operate entirely offline. Prior to version 0.8.6, any authenticated user can overwrite any file's content by ID through the `POST /api/v1/retrieval/process/files/batch` endpoint. The endpoint performs no ownership check, so a regular user with read access to a shared knowledge base can obtain file UUIDs via `GET /api/v1/knowledge/{id}/files` and then overwrite those files, escalating from read to write. The overwritten content is served to the LLM via RAG, meaning the attacker controls what the model tells other users. Version 0.8.6 patches the issue.

Brave CMS has an Insecure Direct Object Reference in Article Image Deletion

Brave CMS is an open-source CMS. Prior to 2.0.6, an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability exists in the article image deletion feature. It is located in app/Http/Controllers/Dashboard/ArticleController.php within the deleteImage method. The endpoint accepts a filename from the URL but does not verify ownership. This allows an authenticated user with edit permissions to delete images attached to articles owned by other users. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.6.

Chamilo LMS is a learning management system. Prior to 1.11.38 and 2.0.0-RC.3, an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability in the gradebook result view page allows any authenticated teacher to delete any student's grade result across the entire platform by manipulating the delete_mark or resultdelete GET parameters.
