Prior to versions 3.0.9, 3.1.6, and 3.2.6, the POST /chat/stop-chat-session/{chat_session_id} endpoint lets any authenticated user stop any other user's active chat session. The endpoint checks authentication but never verifies the session belongs to the caller. An attacker who knows a chat session UUID can kill another user's LLM generation mid-stream. This issue has been patched in versions 3.0.9, 3.1.6, and 3.2.6.

Versions prior to 1.2.30 are subject to an Insecure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerability present in the application's URL parameter. This vulnerability enables any user to read files uploaded by any other user, regardless of their privileges or restrictions. By Changing the file_id any user can render all the files where MimeType is image uploaded under **/files** directory regard less of uploaded by any user. This vulnerability poses a significant impact and severity to the application's security. By manipulating the URL parameter, an attacker can access sensitive files that should only be available to authorized users. This includes confidential documents or any other type of file stored within the application. The ability to read these files can lead to various detrimental consequences, such as unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information, privacy breaches, intellectual property theft, or exposure of trade secrets. Additionally, it could result in legal and regulatory implications, reputation damage, financial losses, and potential compromise of user trust. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.

The GenerateBlocks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.0. This is due to missing object-level authorization checks in the /wp-json/generateblocks/v1/dynamic-tag-replacements REST endpoint. The endpoint only verifies that the user has the edit_posts capability but does not verify the user has permission to access the specific post or its associated data referenced by attacker-controlled id parameters in dynamic tag content. File Browser is a file managing interface for uploading, deleting, previewing, renaming, and editing files within a specified directory. Versions 2.61.0 and below contain a permission enforcement bypass which allows users who are denied download privileges (perm.download = false) but granted share privileges (perm.share = true) to exfiltrate file content by creating public share links. While the direct raw download endpoint (/api/raw/) correctly enforces the download permission, the share creation endpoint only checks Perm.Share, and the public download handler (/api/public/dl/<hash>) serves file content without verifying that the original file owner has download permission. This means any authenticated user with share access can circumvent download restrictions by sharing a file and then retrieving it via the unauthenticated public download URL. The vulnerability undermines data-loss prevention and role-separation policies, as restricted users can publicly distribute files they are explicitly blocked from downloading directly. This issue has been fixed in version 2.62.0.
Craft CMS is a content management system (CMS). From version 4.0.0-RC1 to before version 4.17.8 and from version 5.0.0-RC1 to before version 5.9.14, a low-privileged authenticated user can read private asset content by calling assets/edit-image with an arbitrary assetId that they are not authorized to view. The endpoint returns image bytes (or a preview redirect) without enforcing a per-asset view authorization check, leading to potential unauthorized disclosure of private files. This issue has been patched in versions 4.17.8 and 5.9.14.

Chamilo LMS is an open-source learning management system. In versions prior to 2.0.0-RC.3, the notebook module contains an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability that allows any authenticated student to read the private course notes of any other user on the platform by manipulating the notebook_id parameter in the editnote action. The application fetches the note content using only the supplied integer ID without verifying that the requesting user owns the note, and the full title and HTML body are rendered in the edit form and returned to the attacker's browser. While ownership checks exist in the write paths (updateNote() and delete_note()), they are entirely absent from the read path (get_note_information()). This issue has been fixed in version 2.0.0-RC.3.
