vantage6 is privacy preserving federated learning infrastructure. The endpoint /api/collaboration/{id}/task is used to collect all tasks from a certain collaboration. To get such tasks, a user should have permission to view the collaboration and to view the tasks in it. However, prior to version 4.0.0, it is only checked if the user has permission to view the collaboration. Version 4.0.0 contains a patch. There are no known workarounds.
The Guest account feature in Mattermost version 6.7.0 and earlier fails to properly restrict the permissions, which allows a guest user to fetch a list of all public channels in the team, in spite of not being part of those channels.
An issue has been discovered in GitLab affecting all versions starting with 3.0.1. Improper access control allows demoted project members to access details on authored merge requests
A document disclosure flaw was found in Elasticsearch versions after 7.6.0 and before 7.11.0 when Document or Field Level Security is used. Get requests do not properly apply security permissions when executing a query against a recently updated document. This affects documents that have been updated and not yet refreshed in the index. This could result in the search disclosing the existence of documents and fields the attacker should not be able to view.
Under specialized conditions, GitLab CE/EE versions starting 7.10 may allow existing GitLab users to use an invite URL meant for another email address to gain access into a group.
Improper authorization in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions since 13.0 allows guests in private projects to view CI/CD analytics
An incorrect permission check in Jenkins Role-based Authorization Strategy Plugin 3.1 and earlier allows attackers with Item/Read permission on nested items to access them, even if they lack Item/Read permission for parent folders.
A flaw was found in the BPMN editor in version jBPM 7.51.0.Final. Any authenticated user from any project can see the name of Ruleflow Groups from other projects, despite the user not having access to those projects. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality.
A vulnerability in Cisco Connected Mobile Experiences (CMX) API authorizations could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to enumerate what users exist on the system. The vulnerability is due to a lack of authorization checks for certain API GET requests. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending specific API GET requests to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to enumerate users of the CMX system.
Cloud Foundry CAPI (Cloud Controller) versions prior to 1.98.0 allow authenticated users having only the "cloud_controller.read" scope, but no roles in any spaces, to list all droplets in all spaces (whereas they should see none).
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 17.9 before 18.3.6, 18.4 before 18.4.4, and 18.5 before 18.5.2 that could have allowed an authenticated attacker to bypass access control restrictions and view GitLab Pages content intended only for project members by authenticating through OAuth providers.
RSA Archer, versions prior to 6.7 P3 (6.7.0.3), contain an authorization bypass vulnerability in the REST API. A remote authenticated malicious Archer user could potentially exploit this vulnerability to view unauthorized information.
Automated Note Search Tool (update provided in SAP Basis 7.0, 7.01, 7.02, 7.31, 7.4, 7.5, 7.51, 7.52, 7.53 and 7.54) does not perform sufficient authorization checks leading to the reading of sensitive information.
Netmaker makes networks with WireGuard. Prior to version 1.5.0, a user assigned the platform-user role can retrieve WireGuard private keys of all wireguard configs in a network by calling GET /api/extclients/{network} or GET /api/nodes/{network}. While the Netmaker UI restricts visibility, the API endpoints return full records, including private keys, without filtering based on the requesting user's ownership. This issue has been patched in version 1.5.0.
The CustomAppsRestResource list resource in Atlassian Navigator Links before version 3.3.23, from version 4.0.0 before version 4.3.7, from version 5.0.0 before 5.0.1, and from version 5.1.0 before 5.1.1 allows remote attackers to enumerate all linked applications, including those that are restricted or otherwise hidden, through an incorrect authorization check.
Incorrect access control in Adapt Learning Adapt Authoring Tool <= 0.11.3 allows attackers with Authenticated User roles to obtain email addresses via the "Get users" feature. The vulnerability occurs due to a flaw in permission verification logic, where the wildcard character in permitted URLs grants unintended access to endpoints restricted to users with Super Admin roles. This makes it possible for attackers to disclose the email addresses of all users.
IBM Business Process Manager 8.0, 8.5, and 8.6 and IBM Business Automation Workflow 18.0 and 19.0 could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by the failure to perform insufficient authorization checks. IBM X-Force ID: 181126.
In the plex.tv backend for Plex Media Server (PMS) through 2025-12-31, a non-server device token can retrieve other tokens (intended for unrelated access) via clients.plex.tv/devices.xml.
An incorrect authorization vulnerability allowed unauthorized read access to the contents of internal repositories for contractor accounts when the Contractors API feature was enabled. The Contractors API is a rarely-enabled feature in private preview. This vulnerability affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.18 and was fixed in versions 3.14.15, 3.15.10, 3.16.6 and 3.17.3

Multiple vulnerabilities in the web management framework of Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with read-only privileges to gain unauthorized read access to sensitive data or cause the web management software to hang or crash, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. For more information about these vulnerabilities, see the Details section of this advisory.
Editors/LogViewerController.cs in Umbraco through 8.9.1 allows a user to visit a logviewer endpoint even if they lack Applications.Settings access.
TYPO3 is a free and open source Content Management Framework. Backend users could see items in the backend page tree without having access if the mounts pointed to pages restricted for their user/group, or if no mounts were configured but the pages allowed access to "everybody." However, affected users could not manipulate these pages. Users are advised to update to TYPO3 versions 10.4.46 ELTS, 11.5.40 LTS, 12.4.21 LTS, 13.3.1 that fix the problem described. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
Improper Authorization (CWE-285) in Kibana can lead to privilege escalation (CAPEC-233) by allowing an authenticated user to bypass intended permission restrictions via a crafted HTTP request. This allows an attacker who lacks the live queries - read permission to successfully retrieve the list of live queries.
Zitadel is an open source identity management platform. In Zitadel, even after an organization is deactivated, associated projects, respectively their applications remain active. Users across other organizations can still log in and access through these applications, leading to unauthorized access. Additionally, if a project was deactivated access to applications was also still possible. The issue stems from the fact that when an organization is deactivated in Zitadel, the applications associated with it do not automatically deactivate. The application lifecycle is not tightly coupled with the organization's lifecycle, leading to a situation where the organization or project is marked as inactive, but its resources remain accessible. This vulnerability allows for unauthorized access to projects and their resources, which should have been restricted post-organization deactivation. Versions 2.62.1, 2.61.1, 2.60.2, 2.59.3, 2.58.5, 2.57.5, 2.56.6, 2.55.8, and 2.54.10 have been released which address this issue. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade may explicitly disable the application to make sure the client is not allowed anymore.
An issue has been discovered in GitLab affecting all versions starting from 16.2 before 16.2.8, all versions starting from 16.3 before 16.3.5, all versions starting from 16.4 before 16.4.1. Users were capable of linking CI/CD jobs of private projects which they are not a member of.
An Authorization Bypass vulnerability in the Marmind web application with version 4.1.141.0 allows users with lower privileges to gain control to files uploaded by administrative users. The accessed files were not visible by the low privileged users in the web GUI.
In Apache Solr, the cluster can be partitioned into multiple collections and only a subset of nodes actually host any given collection. However, if a node receives a request for a collection it does not host, it proxies the request to a relevant node and serves the request. Solr bypasses all authorization settings for such requests. This affects all Solr versions prior to 7.7 that use the default authorization mechanism of Solr (RuleBasedAuthorizationPlugin).
In JetBrains YouTrack before 2024.3.44799 access to global app config data without appropriate permissions was possible
A missing permission check in Jenkins Amazon EC2 Plugin 1.50.1 and earlier in form-related methods allowed users with Overall/Read access to enumerate credentials ID of credentials stored in Jenkins.
The FULL - Customer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Information Disclosure via the /health REST route in versions up to, and including, 2.2.3 due to improper authorization. This allows authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions and above to obtain sensitive information about the site configuration as disclosed by the WordPress health check.
Moodle failed to verify enrolment status correctly when sending quiz notifications. As a result, suspended or inactive users might receive quiz-related messages, leaking limited course information.
An issue was discovered in GitLab Community and Enterprise Edition before 11.4.13, 11.5.x before 11.5.6, and 11.6.x before 11.6.1. It has Incorrect Access Control.
Lychee is a free, open-source photo-management tool. Prior to 7.1.0, an authorization vulnerability exists in Lychee's album password unlock functionality that allows users to gain possibly unauthorized access to other users' password-protected albums. When a user unlocks a password-protected public album, the system automatically unlocks ALL other public albums that share the same password, resulting in a complete authorization bypass. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.1.0.
A vulnerability exists where a low-privileged user can exploit insufficient permissions in credential handling to leak NTLM hashes of saved credentials. The exploitation involves using retrieved credentials to expose sensitive NTLM hashes, impacting systems beyond the initial target and potentially leading to broader security vulnerabilities.
The web service responsible for fetching other users' enrolled courses did not validate that the requesting user had permission to view that information in each course in moodle before 3.10.2, 3.9.5, 3.8.8, 3.5.17.
A flaw was found in PostgreSQL in versions before 13.2. This flaw allows a user with SELECT privilege on one column to craft a special query that returns all columns of the table. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality.
In JetBrains TeamCity before 2025.07 improper access control allowed disclosure of build settings via snapshot dependencies
In JetBrains TeamCity before 2025.07 improper access control allowed disclosure of build settings via VCS configuration

In Tuleap Community Edition prior to version 16.9.99.1752585665 and Tuleap Enterprise Edition prior to 16.8-6 and 16.9-5, users may potentially access confidential information from artifacts that they are not authorized to view. This is fixed in Tuleap Community Edition prior to version 16.9.99.1752585665 and Tuleap Enterprise Edition prior to 16.8-6 and 16.9-5.
FreeScout is a free self-hosted help desk and shared mailbox. Prior to version 1.8.179, when creating a conversation from a message in another conversation, there is no check to ensure that the user has the ability to view this message. Thus, the user can view arbitrary messages from other mailboxes or from other conversations to which they do not have access (access restriction to conversations is implemented by the show_only_assigned_conversations setting, which is also not checked). This issue has been patched in version 1.8.179.
Batch Engine in Liferay Portal 7.4.0 through 7.4.3.112, and Liferay DXP 2023.Q4.0 through 2023.Q4.7, 2023.Q3.1 through 2023.Q3.10, and 7.4 GA through update 92 does not properly check permission with import and export tasks, which allows remote authenticated users to access the exported data via the REST APIs.
Mattermost versions 10.5.x <= 10.5.4, 9.11.x <= 9.11.13 fail to properly restrict API access to team information, allowing guest users to bypass permissions and view information about public teams they are not members of via a direct API call to /api/v4/teams/{team_id}.
IBM QRadar 7.3.0 to 7.3.2 Patch 4 is vulnerable to incorrect authorization in some components which could allow an authenticated user to obtain sensitive information. IBM X-Force ID: 164430.

Mattermost versions 10.7.x <= 10.7.0, 10.5.x <= 10.5.3, 9.11.x <= 9.11.12 fails to properly enforce access control restrictions for System Manager roles, allowing authenticated users with System Manager privileges to view team details they should not have access to via direct API requests to team endpoints, even when explicitly configured with 'No access' to Teams in the System Console.
A flaw was found in Moodle. Insufficient capability checks in a messaging web service allowed users to view other users' names and online statuses.
An issue was discovered in MantisBT before 2.24.4. Due to insufficient access-level checks, any logged-in user allowed to perform Group Actions can get access to the Summary fields of private Issues via bug_arr[]= in a crafted bug_actiongroup_page.php URL. (The target Issues can have Private view status, or belong to a private Project.)
An issue has been discovered in GitLab EE affecting all versions from 13.3 before 17.11.6, 18.0 before 18.0.4, and 18.1 before 18.1.2 that could have allowed authenticated project owners to bypass group-level forking restrictions by manipulating API requests.
A vulnerability was found in moodle before versions 3.6.3, 3.5.5 and 3.4.8. Permissions were not correctly checked before loading event information into the calendar's edit event modal popup, so logged in non-guest users could view unauthorised calendar events. (Note: It was read-only access, users could not edit the events.)
