CubeCart is an ecommerce software solution. Prior to 6.7.3, an admin with documents edit permission can save raw <?php … ?> into the Invoice Editor. The next time any admin clicks Print on any order, the rendered template is written to files/print.<md5>.php. files/.htaccess ships an explicit <Files print.*.php> allow from all </Files> carve-out, so the file is fetched and executed by any unauthenticated visitor. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.7.3.
FreshRSS is a free, self-hostable RSS aggregator. In versions 1.26.1 and below, an authenticated administrator user can execute arbitrary code on the FreshRSS server by modifying the update URL to one they control, and gain code execution after running an update. After successfully executing code, user data including hashed passwords can be exfiltrated, the instance can be defaced when file permissions allow. Malicious code can be inserted into the instance to steal plaintext passwords, among others. This is fixed in version 1.26.2.
MyBB is a free and open source forum software. In affected versions the Admin CP's Settings management module does not validate setting types correctly on insertion and update, making it possible to add settings of supported type `php` with PHP code, executed on on _Change Settings_ pages. This results in a Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability. The vulnerable module requires Admin CP access with the `Can manage settings?` permission. MyBB's Settings module, which allows administrators to add, edit, and delete non-default settings, stores setting data in an options code string ($options_code; mybb_settings.optionscode database column) that identifies the setting type and its options, separated by a new line character (\n). In MyBB 1.2.0, support for setting type php was added, for which the remaining part of the options code is PHP code executed on Change Settings pages (reserved for plugins and internal use). MyBB 1.8.30 resolves this issue. There are no known workarounds.

Shopware is an open commerce platform. Prior to versions 6.6.5.1 and 6.5.8.13, the `context` variable is injected into almost any Twig Template and allows to access to current language, currency information. The context object allows also to switch for a short time the scope of the Context as a helper with a callable function. The function can be called also from Twig and as the second parameter allows any callable, it's possible to call from Twig any statically callable PHP function/method. It's not possible as customer to provide any Twig code, the attacker would require access to Administration to exploit it using Mail templates or using App Scripts. Update to Shopware 6.6.5.1 or 6.5.8.13 to receive a patch. For older versions of 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 and 6.4 corresponding security measures are also available via a plugin.

Prior to version 1.8.178, FreeScout is vulnerable to code injection due to insufficient validation of user input in the php_path parameter. The backticks characters are not removed, as well as tabulation is not removed. When checking user input, the file_exists function is also called to check for the presence of such a file (folder) in the file system. A user with the administrator role can create a translation for the language, which will create a folder in the file system. Further in tools.php, the user can specify the path to this folder as php_path, which will lead to the execution of code in backticks. This issue has been patched in version 1.8.178.
Total.js framework (npm package total.js) is a framework for Node.js platfrom written in pure JavaScript similar to PHP's Laravel or Python's Django or ASP.NET MVC. Windmill is an open-source developer platform for internal code: APIs, background jobs, workflows and UIs. Workspace environment variable values are interpolated into JavaScript string literals without escaping single quotes in the NativeTS executor. A workspace admin who sets a custom environment variable with a value containing `'` can inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes inside every NativeTS script in that workspace. This is a code injection bug in `worker.rs`, not related to the sandbox/NSJAIL topic. Version 1.664.0 patches the issue.
The Easy PHP Settings plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Code Injection in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.4 via the `update_wp_memory_constants()` method. This is due to insufficient input validation on the `wp_memory_limit` and `wp_max_memory_limit` settings before writing them to `wp-config.php`. The `sanitize_text_field()` function used for sanitization does not filter single quotes, allowing an attacker to break out of the string context in a PHP `define()` statement. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to inject and execute arbitrary PHP code on the server by modifying `wp-config.php`, which is loaded on every page request.
The Speed Booster Pack ⚡ PageSpeed Optimization Suite WordPress plugin before 4.2.0 did not validate its caching_exclude_urls and caching_include_query_strings settings before outputting them in a PHP file, which could lead to RCE
