Bitcoin Core before v0.13.0 allows denial of service (memory exhaustion) triggered by the remote network alert system (deprecated since Q1 2016) if an attacker can sign a message with a certain private key that had been known by unintended actors, because of an infinitely sized map. This affects other uses of the codebase, such as Bitcoin Knots before v0.13.0.knots20160814 and many altcoins.
A vulnerability in a logging API in Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the device to become unresponsive or trigger an unexpected reload. This vulnerability could also allow an attacker with valid user credentials, but not Administrator privileges, to view a system log file that they would not normally have access to. This vulnerability is due to a lack of rate-limiting of requests that are sent to a specific API that is related to an FMC log. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a high rate of HTTP requests to the API. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition due to the FMC CPU spiking to 100 percent utilization or to the device reloading. CPU utilization would return to normal if the attack traffic was stopped before an unexpected reload was triggered.
cfg80211 in net/wireless/scan.c in the Linux kernel 2.6.30-rc1 and other versions before 2.6.31-rc6 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a sequence of beacon frames in which one frame omits an SSID Information Element (IE) and the subsequent frame contains an SSID IE, which triggers a NULL pointer dereference in the cmp_ies function. NOTE: a potential weakness in the is_mesh function was also addressed, but the relevant condition did not exist in the code, so it is not a vulnerability.
When F5 BIG-IP ASM 13.0.0-13.1.0.1, 12.1.0-12.1.3.5, 11.6.0-11.6.3.1, or 11.5.1-11.5.6 is processing HTTP requests, an unusually large number of parameters can cause excessive CPU usage in the BIG-IP ASM bd process.
The Telephony component in Apple iPhone OS before 3.1 does not properly handle SMS arrival notifications, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and service interruption) via a crafted SMS message.
In Android before 2018-04-05 or earlier security patch level on Qualcomm Snapdragon Mobile SD 210/SD 212/SD 205, SD 400, SD 410/12, SD 430, SD 450, SD 615/16/SD 415, SD 617, SD 625, SD 650/52, SD 800, SD 808, SD 810, SD 820, and SD 835, RTP daemon crashes and terminates VT call when UE receives RTCP unknown APP packet report which caused the parser to miss an end of RTCP packet length and go on forever looking for it, even going beyond the limits of the RTCP Packet length.
Linux kernel versions 4.9+ can be forced to make very expensive calls to tcp_collapse_ofo_queue() and tcp_prune_ofo_queue() for every incoming packet which can lead to a denial of service.
An issue was discovered in phpseclib 1.x before 1.0.23, 2.x before 2.0.47, and 3.x before 3.0.36. When processing the ASN.1 object identifier of a certificate, a sub identifier may be provided that leads to a denial of service (CPU consumption for decodeOID).
Use-after-free vulnerability in the frpr_icmp function in the ipfilter (aka IP Filter) subsystem in Sun Solaris 10, and OpenSolaris snv_45 through snv_110, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (panic) via unspecified vectors.

An exploitable code execution vulnerability exists in the UDP network functionality of Yi Home Camera 27US 1.8.7.0D. A specially crafted set of UDP packets can allocate unlimited memory, resulting in denial of service. An attacker can send a set of packets to trigger this vulnerability.
jsoneditor is vulnerable to Inefficient Regular Expression Complexity
Rack is a modular Ruby web server interface. Carefully crafted Range headers can cause a server to respond with an unexpectedly large response. Responding with such large responses could lead to a denial of service issue. Vulnerable applications will use the `Rack::File` middleware or the `Rack::Utils.byte_ranges` methods (this includes Rails applications). The vulnerability is fixed in 3.0.9.1 and 2.2.8.1.
Memory leak in the Ultra-SPARC T2 crypto provider device driver (aka n2cp) in Sun Solaris 10, and OpenSolaris snv_54 through snv_112, allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via unspecified vectors related to a large keylen value.
Philips Hue is vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack. Sending a SYN flood on port tcp/80 will freeze Philips Hue's hub and it will stop responding. The "hub" will stop operating and be frozen until the flood stops. During the flood, the user won't be able to turn on/off the lights, and all of the hub's functionality will be unresponsive. The cloud service also won't work with the hub.
A memory consumption issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in iCloud for Windows 7.7, watchOS 5, Safari 12, iOS 12, iTunes 12.9 for Windows, tvOS 12. Unexpected interaction causes an ASSERT failure.
In PHP 8.0.X before 8.0.28, 8.1.X before 8.1.16 and 8.2.X before 8.2.3, excessive number of parts in HTTP form upload can cause high resource consumption and excessive number of log entries. This can cause denial of service on the affected server by exhausting CPU resources or disk space.
DHCP Server Service Denial of Service Vulnerability
An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions starting from 14.0 before 15.6.7, all versions starting from 15.7 before 15.7.6, all versions starting from 15.8 before 15.8.1. It was possible to trigger a DoS attack by uploading a malicious Helm chart.

DHCP Server Service Denial of Service Vulnerability
Squid is an open source caching proxy for the Web supporting HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and more. Due to a Collapse of Data into Unsafe Value bug ,Squid may be vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack against HTTP header parsing. This problem allows a remote client or a remote server to perform Denial of Service when sending oversized headers in HTTP messages. In versions of Squid prior to 6.5 this can be achieved if the request_header_max_size or reply_header_max_size settings are unchanged from the default. In Squid version 6.5 and later, the default setting of these parameters is safe. Squid will emit a critical warning in cache.log if the administrator is setting these parameters to unsafe values. Squid will not at this time prevent these settings from being changed to unsafe values. Users are advised to upgrade to version 6.5. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. This issue is also tracked as SQUID-2024:2
mod_auth_openidc is an OpenID Certified™ authentication and authorization module for the Apache 2.x HTTP server that implements the OpenID Connect Relying Party functionality. In affected versions missing input validation on mod_auth_openidc_session_chunks cookie value makes the server vulnerable to a denial of service (DoS) attack. An internal security audit has been conducted and the reviewers found that if they manipulated the value of the mod_auth_openidc_session_chunks cookie to a very large integer, like 99999999, the server struggles with the request for a long time and finally gets back with a 500 error. Making a few requests of this kind caused our server to become unresponsive. Attackers can craft requests that would make the server work very hard (and possibly become unresponsive) and/or crash with minimal effort. This issue has been addressed in version 2.4.15.2. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
User-controlled operations could have allowed Denial of Service in M-Files Server before 23.4.12528.1 due to uncontrolled memory consumption.
libgit2 is a portable C implementation of the Git core methods provided as a linkable library with a solid API, allowing to build Git functionality into your application. Using well-crafted inputs to `git_revparse_single` can cause the function to enter an infinite loop, potentially causing a Denial of Service attack in the calling application. The revparse function in `src/libgit2/revparse.c` uses a loop to parse the user-provided spec string. There is an edge-case during parsing that allows a bad actor to force the loop conditions to access arbitrary memory. Potentially, this could also leak memory if the extracted rev spec is reflected back to the attacker. As such, libgit2 versions before 1.4.0 are not affected. Users should upgrade to version 1.6.5 or 1.7.2.
A vulnerability has been found in OmniSharp csharp-language-server-protocol up to 0.19.6 and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function CreateSerializerSettings of the file src/JsonRpc/Serialization/SerializerBase.cs of the component JSON Serializer. The manipulation leads to resource consumption. Upgrading to version 0.19.7 is able to address this issue. The patch is identified as 7fd2219f194a9ef2a8901bb131c5fa12272305ce. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. VDB-234238 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability.
`python-multipart` is a streaming multipart parser for Python. When using form data, `python-multipart` uses a Regular Expression to parse the HTTP `Content-Type` header, including options. An attacker could send a custom-made `Content-Type` option that is very difficult for the RegEx to process, consuming CPU resources and stalling indefinitely (minutes or more) while holding the main event loop. This means that process can't handle any more requests, leading to regular expression denial of service. This vulnerability has been patched in version 0.0.7.
libheif <= 1.17.6 contains a memory leak in the function JpegEncoder::Encode. This flaw allows an attacker to cause a denial of service attack.
In Srelay (the SOCKS proxy and Relay) v.0.4.8p3, a specially crafted network payload can trigger a denial of service condition and disrupt the service.
Node.js versions 9.7.0 and later and 10.x are vulnerable and the severity is MEDIUM. A bug introduced in 9.7.0 increases the memory consumed when reading from the network into JavaScript using the net.Socket object directly as a stream. An attacker could use this cause a denial of service by sending tiny chunks of data in short succession. This vulnerability was restored by reverting to the prior behaviour.
A reachable assertion in the decode_access_point_name_ie function of Magma <= 1.8.0 (fixed in v1.9 commit 08472ba98b8321f802e95f5622fa90fec2dea486) allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted NAS packet.
An unauthenticated remote attacker can use an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability to DoS the affected devices through excessive traffic on a single ethernet port.
A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU family (All versions >= V2.2 < V2.5.1). Affected devices do not properly handle large numbers of new incomming connections and could crash under certain circumstances. An attacker may leverage this to cause a Denial-of-Service situation.
MongoDB Server's mongos component can become unresponsive to new connections due to incorrect handling of incomplete data. This affects MongoDB when configured with load balancer support.
