The parser_yyerror function in the UTF-8 parser in Ruby 2.4.1 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (invalid write or read) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted Ruby script, related to the parser_tokadd_utf8 function in parse.y. NOTE: this might have security relevance as a bypass of a $SAFE protection mechanism.
An issue was discovered in Suricata 4.1.4. By sending multiple IPv4 packets that have invalid IPv4Options, the function IPV4OptValidateTimestamp in decode-ipv4.c tries to access a memory region that is not allocated. There is a check for o->len < 5 (corresponding to 2 bytes of header and 3 bytes of data). Then, "flag = *(o->data + 3)" places one beyond the 3 bytes, because the code should have been "flag = *(o->data + 1)" instead.

wolfSSL 4.1.0 has a one-byte heap-based buffer over-read in DecodeCertExtensions in wolfcrypt/src/asn.c because reading the ASN_BOOLEAN byte is mishandled for a crafted DER certificate in GetLength_ex.

Creolabs Gravity Version: 1.0 Heap Overflow Potential Code Execution. By creating a large loop whiling pushing data to a buffer, we can break out of the bounds checking of that buffer. When list.join is called on the data it will read past a buffer resulting in a Heap-Buffer-Overflow.

SiYuan is a personal knowledge management system. Prior to version 3.6.2, document IDs were retrieved via the /api/file/readDir interface, and then the /api/block/getChildBlocks interface was used to view the content of all documents. Version 3.6.2 patches the issue.

In p2p_process_prov_disc_req of p2p_pd.c, there is a possible out of bounds read and write due to a use after free. This could lead to remote escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android-11 Android-8.1 Android-9 Android-10Android ID: A-181660448
The path in this case is a little bit convoluted. The end result is that via an ioctl an untrusted app can control the ui32PageIndex offset in the expression:sPA.uiAddr = page_to_phys(psOSPageArrayData->pagearray[ui32PageIndex]);With the current PoC this crashes as an OOB read. However, given that the OOB read value is ending up as the address field of a struct I think i seems plausible that this could lead to an OOB write if the attacker is able to cause the OOB read to pull an interesting kernel address. Regardless if this is a read or write, it is a High severity issue in the kernel.Product: AndroidVersions: Android SoCAndroid ID: A-238904312
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: dvb-net: fix OOB access in ULE extension header tables The ule_mandatory_ext_handlers[] and ule_optional_ext_handlers[] tables in handle_one_ule_extension() are declared with 255 elements (valid indices 0-254), but the index htype is derived from network-controlled data as (ule_sndu_type & 0x00FF), giving a range of 0-255. When htype equals 255, an out-of-bounds read occurs on the function pointer table, and the OOB value may be called as a function pointer. Add a bounds check on htype against the array size before either table is accessed. Out-of-range values now cause the SNDU to be discarded.
Insufficient input validation in NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway when configured as a SAML IDP leading to memory overread
A flaw was found with the RHSA-2019:3950 erratum, where it did not fix the CVE-2019-13616 SDL vulnerability. This issue only affects Red Hat SDL packages, SDL versions through 1.2.15 and 2.x through 2.0.9 has a heap-based buffer overflow flaw while copying an existing surface into a new optimized one, due to a lack of validation while loading a BMP image, is possible. An application that uses SDL to parse untrusted input files may be vulnerable to this flaw, which could allow an attacker to make the application crash or execute code.
