A vulnerability has been identified in SINEC INS (All versions < V1.0 SP2 Update 3). The affected application uses hard-coded cryptographic key material to obfuscate configuration files. This could allow an attacker to learn that cryptographic key material through reverse engineering of the application binary and decrypt arbitrary backup files.
A user can tell curl >= 7.20.0 and <= 7.78.0 to require a successful upgrade to TLS when speaking to an IMAP, POP3 or FTP server (`--ssl-reqd` on the command line or`CURLOPT_USE_SSL` set to `CURLUSESSL_CONTROL` or `CURLUSESSL_ALL` withlibcurl). This requirement could be bypassed if the server would return a properly crafted but perfectly legitimate response. This flaw would then make curl silently continue its operations **withoutTLS** contrary to the instructions and expectations, exposing possibly sensitive data in clear text over the network.
curl 7.61.0 through 7.76.1 suffers from exposure of data element to wrong session due to a mistake in the code for CURLOPT_SSL_CIPHER_LIST when libcurl is built to use the Schannel TLS library. The selected cipher set was stored in a single "static" variable in the library, which has the surprising side-effect that if an application sets up multiple concurrent transfers, the last one that sets the ciphers will accidentally control the set used by all transfers. In a worst-case scenario, this weakens transport security significantly.
Node.js before 16.4.1, 14.17.2, 12.22.2 is vulnerable to an out-of-bounds read when uv__idna_toascii() is used to convert strings to ASCII. The pointer p is read and increased without checking whether it is beyond pe, with the latter holding a pointer to the end of the buffer. This can lead to information disclosures or crashes. This function can be triggered via uv_getaddrinfo().
A vulnerability has been identified in SINEC Traffic Analyzer (6GK8822-1BG01-0BA0) (All versions < V2.0). The affected application do not properly enforce restriction of excessive authentication attempts. This could allow an unauthenticated attacker to conduct brute force attacks against legitimate user credentials or keys.
A vulnerability has been identified in SENTRON 7KT PAC1260 Data Manager (All versions). The web interface of affected devices contains a path traversal vulnerability. This could allow an unauthenticated attacker it to access arbitrary files on the device with root privileges.
A vulnerability has been identified in SINEMA Remote Connect Server (All versions < V3.2 SP1). The affected application does not properly implement brute force protection against user credentials in its Client Communication component. This could allow an attacker to learn user credentials that are vulnerable to brute force attacks.
Issue summary: A bug has been identified in the processing of key and initialisation vector (IV) lengths. This can lead to potential truncation or overruns during the initialisation of some symmetric ciphers. Impact summary: A truncation in the IV can result in non-uniqueness, which could result in loss of confidentiality for some cipher modes. When calling EVP_EncryptInit_ex2(), EVP_DecryptInit_ex2() or EVP_CipherInit_ex2() the provided OSSL_PARAM array is processed after the key and IV have been established. Any alterations to the key length, via the "keylen" parameter or the IV length, via the "ivlen" parameter, within the OSSL_PARAM array will not take effect as intended, potentially causing truncation or overreading of these values. The following ciphers and cipher modes are impacted: RC2, RC4, RC5, CCM, GCM and OCB. For the CCM, GCM and OCB cipher modes, truncation of the IV can result in loss of confidentiality. For example, when following NIST's SP 800-38D section 8.2.1 guidance for constructing a deterministic IV for AES in GCM mode, truncation of the counter portion could lead to IV reuse. Both truncations and overruns of the key and overruns of the IV will produce incorrect results and could, in some cases, trigger a memory exception. However, these issues are not currently assessed as security critical. Changing the key and/or IV lengths is not considered to be a common operation and the vulnerable API was recently introduced. Furthermore it is likely that application developers will have spotted this problem during testing since decryption would fail unless both peers in the communication were similarly vulnerable. For these reasons we expect the probability of an application being vulnerable to this to be quite low. However if an application is vulnerable then this issue is considered very serious. For these reasons we have assessed this issue as Moderate severity overall. The OpenSSL SSL/TLS implementation is not affected by this issue. The OpenSSL 3.0 and 3.1 FIPS providers are not affected by this because the issue lies outside of the FIPS provider boundary. OpenSSL 3.1 and 3.0 are vulnerable to this issue.
A vulnerability has been identified in Mendix Encryption (All versions >= V10.0.0 < V10.0.2). Affected versions of the module define a specific hard-coded default value for the EncryptionKey constant, which is used in projects where no individual EncryptionKey was specified. This could allow to an attacker to decrypt any encrypted project data, as the default encryption key can be considered compromised.

LibVNC commit before d01e1bb4246323ba6fcee3b82ef1faa9b1dac82a contains a memory leak (CWE-655) in VNC server code, which allow an attacker to read stack memory and can be abused for information disclosure. Combined with another vulnerability, it can be used to leak stack memory and bypass ASLR. This attack appear to be exploitable via network connectivity. These vulnerabilities have been fixed in commit d01e1bb4246323ba6fcee3b82ef1faa9b1dac82a.
A flaw was found in libarchive. On 32-bit systems, an integer overflow vulnerability exists in the zisofs block pointer allocation logic. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a specially crafted ISO9660 image, which can lead to a heap buffer overflow. This could potentially allow for arbitrary code execution on the affected system.
A vulnerability has been identified in Siveillance Video Client (All versions). In environments where Windows NTLM authentication is enabled the affected client application transmits usernames to the server in cleartext. This could allow an attacker in a privileged network position to obtain valid adminstrator login names and use this information to launch further attacks.
A flaw was found in m2crypto. This issue may allow a remote attacker to decrypt captured messages in TLS servers that use RSA key exchanges, which may lead to exposure of confidential or sensitive data.
A vulnerability has been identified in SINEC INS (All versions < V1.0 SP2 Update 6). The affected application does not properly sanitize path input in the `GET /api/sftp/uploadFiles` endpoint used for directory listing. Issue summary: Applications performing certificate name checks (e.g., TLS clients checking server certificates) may attempt to read an invalid memory address resulting in abnormal termination of the application process. Impact summary: Abnormal termination of an application can a cause a denial of service. Applications performing certificate name checks (e.g., TLS clients checking server certificates) may attempt to read an invalid memory address when comparing the expected name with an `otherName` subject alternative name of an X.509 certificate. This may result in an exception that terminates the application program. Note that basic certificate chain validation (signatures, dates, ...) is not affected, the denial of service can occur only when the application also specifies an expected DNS name, Email address or IP address. TLS servers rarely solicit client certificates, and even when they do, they generally don't perform a name check against a reference identifier (expected identity), but rather extract the presented identity after checking the certificate chain. So TLS servers are generally not affected and the severity of the issue is Moderate. The FIPS modules in 3.3, 3.2, 3.1 and 3.0 are not affected by this issue.
A vulnerability has been identified in Siemens OPC UA Modelling Editor (SiOME) (All versions < V2.8). Affected products suffer from a XML external entity (XXE) injection vulnerability. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to interfere with an application's processing of XML data and read arbitrary files in the system.

A vulnerability has been identified in SiPass integrated AC5102 (ACC-G2) (All versions < V6.4.8), SiPass integrated ACC-AP (All versions < V6.4.8). Affected devices expose several MQTT URLs without authentication. This could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to access sensitive data.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ethernet: lantiq_etop: fix memory disclosure When applying padding, the buffer is not zeroed, which results in memory disclosure. The mentioned data is observed on the wire. This patch uses skb_put_padto() to pad Ethernet frames properly. The mentioned function zeroes the expanded buffer. In case the packet cannot be padded it is silently dropped. Statistics are also not incremented. This driver does not support statistics in the old 32-bit format or the new 64-bit format. These will be added in the future. In its current form, the patch should be easily backported to stable versions. Ethernet MACs on Amazon-SE and Danube cannot do padding of the packets in hardware, so software padding must be applied.
A vulnerability has been identified in Polarion V2310 (All versions), Polarion V2404 (All versions < V2404.2). The login implementation of the affected application contains an observable response discrepancy vulnerability when validating usernames. This could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to distinguish between valid and invalid usernames.
UltraVNC revision 1198 contains multiple memory leaks (CWE-655) in VNC client code, which allow an attacker to read stack memory and can be abused for information disclosure. These vulnerabilities have been fixed in revision 1199.
The web server of affected devices do not properly authenticate user request to the '/ClientArea/RuntimeInfoData.mwsl' endpoint. This could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to gain knowledge about current actual and configured maximum cycle times as well as about configured maximum communication load.
UltraVNC revision 1211 contains multiple memory leaks (CWE-665) in VNC server code, which allows an attacker to read stack memory and can be abused for information disclosure. Combined with another vulnerability, it can be used to leak stack memory and bypass ASLR. This attack appears to be exploitable via network connectivity. These vulnerabilities have been fixed in revision 1212.
Issue summary: Applications using RSASVE key encapsulation to establish a secret encryption key can send contents of an uninitialized memory buffer to a malicious peer. Impact summary: The uninitialized buffer might contain sensitive data from the previous execution of the application process which leads to sensitive data leakage to an attacker. RSA_public_encrypt() returns the number of bytes written on success and -1 on error. The affected code tests only whether the return value is non-zero. As a result, if RSA encryption fails, encapsulation can still return success to the caller, set the output lengths, and leave the caller to use the contents of the ciphertext buffer as if a valid KEM ciphertext had been produced. If applications use EVP_PKEY_encapsulate() with RSA/RSASVE on an attacker-supplied invalid RSA public key without first validating that key, then this may cause stale or uninitialized contents of the caller-provided ciphertext buffer to be disclosed to the attacker in place of the KEM ciphertext. As a workaround calling EVP_PKEY_public_check() or EVP_PKEY_public_check_quick() before EVP_PKEY_encapsulate() will mitigate the issue. The FIPS modules in 3.6, 3.5, 3.4, 3.3, 3.1 and 3.0 are affected by this issue.
A vulnerability has been identified in Siveillance Video DLNA Server (2019 R1), Siveillance Video DLNA Server (2019 R2), Siveillance Video DLNA Server (2019 R3), Siveillance Video DLNA Server (2020 R1), Siveillance Video DLNA Server (2020 R2), Siveillance Video DLNA Server (2020 R3), Siveillance Video DLNA Server (2021 R1). The affected application contains a path traversal vulnerability that could allow to read arbitrary files on the server that are outside the application’s web document directory. An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit this issue to access sensitive information for subsequent attacks.
A vulnerability has been identified in Control Center Server (CCS) (All versions < V1.5.0). The SFTP service (default port 22/tcp) of the Control Center Server (CCS) contains an authentication bypass vulnerability. A remote attacker with network access to the CCS server could exploit this vulnerability to read data from the EDIR directory (for example, the list of all configured stations).
A vulnerability has been identified in Location Intelligence family (All versions < V4.4). Affected products do not properly enforce a strong user password policy. This could facilitate a brute force attack against legitimate user passwords.
A vulnerability has been identified in Location Intelligence family (All versions < V4.4). Affected products do not properly enforce restriction of excessive authentication attempts. This could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to conduct brute force attacks against legitimate user passwords.
