Zulip is an open source team chat application. A weekly cron job (added in 50256f48314250978f521ef439cafa704e056539) demotes channels to being "inactive" after they have not received traffic for 180 days. However, upon doing so, an event was sent to all users in the organization, not just users in the channel. This event contained the name of the private channel. Similarly, the same commit (50256f48314250978f521ef439cafa704e056539) added functionality to notify clients when channels stopped being "inactive." The first message sent to a private channel which had not previously had any messages for over 180 days (and were thus already marked "inactive") would leak an event to all users in the organization; this event also contained the name of the private channel. Commits 75be449d456d29fef27e9d1828bafa30174284b4 and a2a1a7f8d152296c8966f1380872c0ac69e5c87e fixed the issue. This vulnerability only existed in `main`, and was not part of any published versions.
In zulip before 1.3.12, bot API keys were accessible to other users in the same realm.
Zulip is an open-source team collaboration tool. A vulnerability in version 8.0 is similar to CVE-2023-32677, but applies to multi-use invitations, not single-use invitation links as in the prior CVE. Specifically, it applies when the installation has configured non-admins to be able to invite users and create multi-use invitations, and has also configured only admins to be able to invite users to streams. As in CVE-2023-32677, this does not let users invite new users to arbitrary streams, only to streams that the inviter can already see. Version 8.1 fixes this issue. As a workaround, administrators can limit sending of invitations down to users who also have the permission to add users to streams.
Zulip is an open-source team collaboration tool with topic-based threading that combines email and chat. When displaying messages with embedded remote images, Zulip normally loads the image preview via a go-camo proxy server. However, an attacker who can send messages could include a crafted URL that tricks the server into embedding a remote image reference directly. This could allow the attacker to infer the viewer’s IP address and browser fingerprinting information. This vulnerability is fixed in Zulip Server 5.6. Zulip organizations with image and link previews [disabled](https://zulip.com/help/allow-image-link-previews) are not affected.
Zulip is an open-source team collaboration tool. When a user moves a Zulip message, they have the option to move all messages in the topic, move only subsequent messages as well, or move just a single message. If the user chose to just move one message, and was moving it from a public stream to a private stream, Zulip would successfully move the message, -- but active users who did not have access to the private stream, but whose client had already received the message, would continue to see the message in the public stream until they reloaded their client. Additionally, Zulip did not remove view permissions on the message from recently-active users, allowing the message to show up in the "All messages" view or in search results, but not in "Inbox" or "Recent conversations" views. While the bug has been present since moving messages between streams was first introduced in version 3.0, this option became much more common starting in Zulip 8.0, when the default option in the picker for moving the very last message in a conversation was changed. This issue is fixed in Zulip Server 8.3. No known workarounds are available.
Zulip server provides an open-source team chat that helps teams stay productive and focused. Zulip Server 7.0 and above are vulnerable to an information disclose attack, where, if a Zulip server is hosting multiple organizations, an unauthenticated user can make a request and determine if an email address is in use by a user. Zulip Server 9.4 resolves the issue, as does the `main` branch of Zulip Server. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
Zulip is an open-source team collaboration tool. Zulip Server versions 2.1.0 above have a user interface tool, accessible only to server owners and server administrators, which provides a way to download a "public data" export. While this export is only accessible to administrators, in many configurations server administrators are not expected to have access to private messages and private streams. However, the "public data" export which administrators could generate contained the attachment contents for all attachments, even those from private messages and streams. Zulip Server version 5.4 contains a patch for this issue.
An error in the implementation of an autosubscribe feature in the check_stream_exists route of the Zulip group chat application server before 1.4.3 allowed an authenticated user to subscribe to a private stream that should have required an invitation from an existing member to join. The issue affects all previously released versions of the Zulip server.
Zulip is an open-source team collaboration tool. For organizations with System for Cross-domain Identity Management(SCIM) account management enabled, Zulip Server 5.0 through 5.6 checked the SCIM bearer token using a comparator that did not run in constant time. Therefore, it might theoretically be possible for an attacker to infer the value of the token by performing a sophisticated timing analysis on a large number of failing requests. If successful, this would allow the attacker to impersonate the SCIM client for its abilities to read and update user accounts in the Zulip organization. Organizations where SCIM account management has not been enabled are not affected.
A flaw has been found in Kilo-Org kilocode up to 7.0.47. This issue affects the function Load of the file packages/opencode/src/config/config.ts of the component Environment Variable Handler. Executing a manipulation of the argument KILO_CONFIG_CONTENT can lead to information disclosure. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
The 24liveblog - live blog tool plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Exposure of Sensitive Information in versions up to, and including, 2.2. This is due to the lb24_block_enqueue_scripts() function being hooked to enqueue_block_editor_assets and, for any non-administrator user, falling back to loading the administrator-configured site-wide 24liveblog integration secrets (lb24_token, lb24_refresh_token, lb24_uid, lb24_uname) from the options table via get_option() and emitting them through wp_localize_script() as the lb24BlockData JavaScript object. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to extract third-party 24liveblog account credentials (including the API token and refresh token) by simply opening the block editor and inspecting the page source.
A weakness has been identified in SourceCodester CET Automated Grading System with AI Predictive Analytics 1.0. This impacts an unknown function of the file /index.php of the component SQL Handler. Executing a manipulation can lead to information exposure through error message. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks.
An exposure of sensitive information to an unauthorized actor vulnerability [CWE-200] in FortiManager 7.4.2 and below, 7.2.5 and below, 7.0.12 and below allows a remote authenticated attacker assigned to an Administrative Domain (ADOM) to access device summary of unauthorized ADOMs via crafted HTTP requests.
etcd is a distributed key-value store for the data of a distributed system. Prior to versions 3.4.26 and 3.5.9, the LeaseTimeToLive API allows access to key names (not value) associated to a lease when `Keys` parameter is true, even a user doesn't have read permission to the keys. The impact is limited to a cluster which enables auth (RBAC). Versions 3.4.26 and 3.5.9 fix this issue. There are no known workarounds.
The Mux Video Uploader plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.4 via the muxvideo_enqueue_settings_script. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to extract sensitive data including Mux API credentials.
Mattermost versions 9.5.x <= 9.5.3, 9.7.x <= 9.7.1 and 8.1.x <= 8.1.12 fail to perform a proper authorization check in the /api/v4/groups/<group-id>/channels/<channel-id>/link endpoint which allows a user to learn the members of an AD/LDAP group that is linked to a team by adding the group to a channel, even if the user has no access to the team.
The Slider by Soliloquy – Responsive Image Slider for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.1 via the map_meta_cap. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to extract draft slider metadata including unpublished media URLs, captions, and slider configuration authored by administrators or editors.
Nextcloud Talk is a chat, video & audio call extension for Nextcloud. In affected versions a user that was added later to a conversation can use this information to get access to data that was deleted before they were added to the conversation. This issue has been patched in version 15.0.5 and it is recommended that users upgrad to 15.0.5. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
Airflow versions 2.7.0 through 2.8.4 have a vulnerability that allows an authenticated user to see sensitive provider configuration via the "configuration" UI page when "non-sensitive-only" was set as "webserver.expose_config" configuration (The celery provider is the only community provider currently that has sensitive configurations). You should migrate to Airflow 2.9 or change your "expose_config" configuration to False as a workaround. This is similar, but different to CVE-2023-46288 https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-9qqg-mh7c-chfq which concerned API, not UI configuration page.
The SAP AIF (ODATA service) - versions 755, 756, discloses more detailed information than is required. An authorized attacker can use the collected information possibly to exploit the component. As a result, an attacker can cause a low impact on the confidentiality of the application.
Discourse Calendar adds the ability to create a dynamic calendar in the first post of a topic on the open-source discussion platform Discourse. Prior to version 0.4, event invitees created in topics in private categories or PMs (private messages) can be retrieved by anyone, even if they're not logged in. This problem is resolved in version 0.4 of the discourse-calendar plugin. While no known workaround is available, putting the site behind `login_required` will disallow this endpoint to be used by anonymous users, but logged in users can still get the list of invitees in the private topics.
A vulnerability has been found in Ad Blocking Detector Plugin up to 1.2.1 on WordPress and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file ad-blocking-detector.php. The manipulation leads to information disclosure. The attack can be initiated remotely. Upgrading to version 1.2.2 is able to address this issue. The patch is identified as 3312b9cd79e5710d1e282fc9216a4e5ab31b3d94. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. VDB-222610 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability.
OpenRemote versions before 1.26.2 contain an information disclosure vulnerability in the SyslogResource REST endpoint that fails to filter operational logs by realm. Attackers with the read:rules role can access the GET /api/{realm}/syslog/event endpoint to retrieve operational logs from all tenants, exposing asset IDs, agent connection details, rule names, and protocol errors across the multi-tenant deployment.
Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content. In versions prior to 9.16.0 users with read access to the `password` field in `directus_users` can extract the argon2 password hashes by brute forcing the export functionality combined with a `_starts_with` filter. This allows the user to enumerate the password hashes. Accounts cannot be taken over unless the hashes can be reversed which is unlikely with current hardware. This problem has been patched by preventing any hashed/concealed field to be filtered against with the `_starts_with` or other string operator in version 9.16.0. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade may mitigate this issue by ensuring that no user has `read` access to the `password` field in `directus_users`.
IBM Marketing Platform 9.1.0, 9.1.2, 10.0, and 10.1 exposes sensitive information in the headers that could be used by an authenticated attacker in further attacks against the system. IBM X-Force ID: 120906.
Minder by Stacklok is an open source software supply chain security platform. A refactoring in commit `5c381cf` added the ability to get GitHub repositories registered to a project without specifying a specific provider. Unfortunately, the SQL query for doing so was missing parenthesis, and would select a random repository. This issue is patched in pull request 2941. As a workaround, revert prior to `5c381cf`, or roll forward past `2eb94e7`.
Vulnerability in the Oracle U.S. Federal Financials product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Internal Operations). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Helm is a tool that streamlines installing and managing Kubernetes applications.`getHostByName` is a Helm template function introduced in Helm v3. The function is able to accept a hostname and return an IP address for that hostname. To get the IP address the function performs a DNS lookup. The DNS lookup happens when used with `helm install|upgrade|template` or when the Helm SDK is used to render a chart. Information passed into the chart can be disclosed to the DNS servers used to lookup the IP address. For example, a malicious chart could inject `getHostByName` into a chart in order to disclose values to a malicious DNS server. The issue has been fixed in Helm 3.11.1. Prior to using a chart with Helm verify the `getHostByName` function is not being used in a template to disclose any information you do not want passed to DNS servers.

Discourse-reactions is a plugin that allows user to add their reactions to the post. When whispers are enabled on a site via `whispers_allowed_groups` and reactions are made on whispers on public topics, the contents of the whisper and the reaction data are shown on the `/u/:username/activity/reactions` endpoint.
Nextcloud Server before 9.0.55 and 10.0.2 suffers from a error message disclosing existence of file in write-only share. Due to an error in the application logic an adversary with access to a write-only share may enumerate the names of existing files and subfolders by comparing the exception messages.
Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor vulnerability in SwitchWP WP Client Reports plugin <= 1.0.16 versions.
An exposure of sensitive information to an unauthorized actor vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSandbox 4.4.0 through 4.4.4, FortiSandbox 4.2.1 through 4.2.6, FortiSandbox 4.0 all versions, FortiSandbox 3.2.2 through 3.2.4, FortiSandbox 3.1.5 allows attacker to information disclosure via HTTP get requests.
silverstripe/reports is an API for creating backend reports in the Silverstripe Framework. In affected versions reports can be accessed by their direct URL by any user who has access to view the reports admin section, even if the `canView()` method for that report returns `false`. This issue has been addressed in version 5.2.3. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
The Download Manager and Payment Form WordPress Plugin – WP SmartPay plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in versions 1.1.0 to 2.7.13 via the show() function due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to view other user's data like email address, name, and notes.
HCL Connections is vulnerable to an information disclosure vulnerability, due to an IBM WebSphere Application Server error, which could allow a user to obtain sensitive information they are not entitled to due to the improper handling of request data.
The WPFront User Role Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.1.11184 via the wpfront_user_role_editor_assign_roles_user_autocomplete AJAX action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to extract retrieve a list of all user email addresses who are registered on the site.
SimpleChat is a secure AI conversation application with personal and group workspaces for document-grounded interactions. Prior to 0.241.203, the authenticated GET /api/user/info/<user_id> and GET /api/user/profile-image/<user_id> endpoints in application/single_app/route_backend_users.py accepted a caller-supplied user_id and read the matching Cosmos DB user-settings document without object-level authorization, allowing a low-privilege authenticated user to retrieve another user's email address, display name, and profile image. This issue is fixed in version 0.241.203.
Capgo before 12.128.2 fails to strip EXIF metadata from images uploaded via the app information endpoint, exposing sensitive geolocation data. Attackers can upload images containing EXIF metadata to extract geographic location information and other embedded metadata from uploaded files.
Grist is spreadsheet software using Python as its formula language. Prior to 1.7.15, the GET /forms endpoint read table and column metadata without applying the document's access rules and did not check that the requested section was actually a form. A user with only partial read access, including public access on a publicly viewable document, could request the metadata of any widget and reveal table and column structure that access rules would otherwise hide, even in documents that contain no forms. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.15.
Archer Platform 6 before 2024.03 contains a sensitive information disclosure vulnerability. An authenticated attacker could potentially obtain access to sensitive information via a popup warning message.
Discourse is an open-source messaging platform. In versions 3.0.1 and prior on the `stable` branch and versions 3.1.0.beta2 and prior on the `beta` and `tests-passed` branches, the count of personal messages displayed for a tag is a count of all personal messages regardless of whether the personal message is visible to a given user. As a result, any users can technically poll a sensitive tag to determine if a new personal message is created even if the user does not have access to the personal message. In the patched versions, the count of personal messages tagged with a given tag is hidden by default. To revert to the old behaviour of displaying the count of personal messages for a given tag, an admin may enable the `display_personal_messages_tag_counts` site setting.
TYPO3 is an open source PHP based web content management system released under the GNU GPL. The TYPO3-specific `t3://` URI scheme could be used to access resources outside of the users' permission scope. This encompassed files, folders, pages, and records (although only if a valid link-handling configuration was provided). Exploiting this vulnerability requires a valid backend user account. Users are advised to update to TYPO3 versions 8.7.57 ELTS, 9.5.46 ELTS, 10.4.43 ELTS, 11.5.35 LTS, 12.4.11 LTS, 13.0.1 that fix the problem described. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
TYPO3 is an open source PHP based web content management system released under the GNU GPL. Password hashes were being reflected in the editing forms of the TYPO3 backend user interface. This allowed attackers to crack the plaintext password using brute force techniques.
