Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Versions prior to 21.2.0, 21.1.16, 20.3.17, and 19.2.19 have a cross-Site scripting vulnerability in the Angular internationalization (i18n) pipeline. In ICU messages (International Components for Unicode), HTML from translated content was not properly sanitized and could execute arbitrary JavaScript. Angular i18n typically involves three steps, extracting all messages from an application in the source language, sending the messages to be translated, and then merging their translations back into the final source code. Translations are frequently handled by contracts with specific partner companies, and involve sending the source messages to a separate contractor before receiving final translations for display to the end user. If the returned translations have malicious content, it could be rendered into the application and execute arbitrary JavaScript. When successfully exploited, this vulnerability allows for execution of attacker controlled JavaScript in the application origin. Depending on the nature of the application being exploited this could lead to credential exfiltration and/or page vandalism. Several preconditions apply to the attack. The attacker must compromise the translation file (xliff, xtb, etc.). Unlike most XSS vulnerabilities, this issue is not exploitable by arbitrary users. An attacker must first compromise an application's translation file before they can escalate privileges into the Angular application client. The victim application must use Angular i18n, use one or more ICU messages, render an ICU message, and not defend against XSS via a safe content security policy. Versions 21.2.0, 21.1.6, 20.3.17, and 19.2.19 patch the issue. Until the patch is applied, developers should consider reviewing and verifying translated content received from untrusted third parties before incorporating it in an Angular application, enabling strict CSP controls to block unauthorized JavaScript from executing on the page, and enabling Trusted Types to enforce proper HTML sanitization.
A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Art Gallery Management System Project v1.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML via a crafted payload injected into the artname parameter under ART TYPE option in the navigation bar.
A vulnerability was found in UCMS 1.6.0. It has been classified as problematic. This affects an unknown part of the file saddpost.php of the component Column Configuration. Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Zoho Asset Explorer 6.9 via the credential name when creating a new Assets Workstation.
Pannellum is a lightweight, free, and open source panorama viewer for the web. In versions 3.5.0 through 2.5.6, the hot spot attributes configuration property allowed any attribute to be set, including HTML event handler attributes, allowing for potential XSS attacks. This affects websites hosting the standalone viewer HTML file and any other use of untrusted JSON config files (bypassing the protections of the escapeHTML parameter). As certain events fire without any additional user interaction, visiting a standalone viewer URL that points to a malicious config file — without additional user interaction — is sufficient to trigger the vulnerability and execute arbitrary JavaScript code, which can, for example, replace the contents of the page with arbitrary content and make it appear to be hosted by the website hosting the standalone viewer HTML file. This issue has been fixed in version 2.5.7. To workaround, setting the Content-Security-Policy header to script-src-attr 'none' will block execution of inline event handlers, mitigating this vulnerability. Don't host pannellum.htm on a domain that shares cookies with user authentication to mitigate XSS risk.
Certain Draytek products are vulnerable to Cross Site Scripting (XSS) via the wlogin.cgi script and user_login.cgi script of the router's web application management portal. This affects Vigor3910, Vigor1000B, Vigor2962 v4.3.2.1; Vigor2865 and Vigor2866 v4.4.1.0; Vigor2927 v4.4.2.2; and Vigor2915, Vigor2765, Vigor2766, Vigor2135 v4.4.2.0; Vigor2763 v4.4.2.1; Vigor2862 and Vigor2926 v3.9.9.0; Vigor2925 v3.9.3; Vigor2952 and Vigor3220 v3.9.7.3; Vigor2133 and Vigor2762 v3.9.6.4; and Vigor2832 v3.9.6.2.
Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) on the A3factura web platform, in parameter 'name', parameter 'name', in 'a3factura-app.wolterskluwer.es/#/incomes/customers' endpoint, which could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the victim's browser.
SVXportal version 2.5 and prior contain a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in the user profile update workflow (user_settings.php submitting to admin/update_user.php). Authenticated users can store malicious HTML/JavaScript in fields such as Firstname, lastname, email, and image_url, which are later rendered without adequate output encoding in the administrator interface (admin/users.php), resulting in JavaScript execution in an administrator's browser when the affected page is viewed.
Binardat 10G08-0800GSM network switch firmware version V300SP10260209 and prior reflect unsanitized user input in the web interface, allowing an attacker to inject and execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of an authenticated user.
Bugsink is a self-hosted error tracking tool. In versions prior to 2.0.13, an unauthenticated attacker who can submit events to a Bugsink project can store arbitrary JavaScript in an event. The payload executes only if a user explicitly views the affected Stacktrace in the web UI. When Pygments returns more lines than it was given (a known upstream quirk that triggers with Ruby heredoc-style input), `_pygmentize_lines()` in `theme/templatetags/issues.py:75-77` falls back to returning the raw input lines. `mark_safe()` at line 111-113 is then applied unconditionally - including to those unsanitized raw lines. Since DSN endpoints are public by Sentry protocol, no account is needed to inject. The payload sits in the database until an admin looks at the event. Successful exploitation requires that the attacker to be able to submit events to the project (i.e. knows the DSN or can access a client that uses it), the Bugsink ingest endpoint is reachable to the attacker, and an administrator explicitly views the crafted event in the UI. Under those conditions, the attacker can execute JavaScript in the administrator’s browser and act with that user’s privileges within Bugsink. Version 2.0.13 fixes the vulnerability.
Leafkit is a templating language with Swift-inspired syntax. Prior to 1.4.1, htmlEscaped in leaf-kit will only escape html special characters if the extended grapheme clusters match, which allows bypassing escaping by using an extended grapheme cluster containing both the special html character and some additional characters. In the case of html attributes, this can lead to XSS if there is a leaf variable in the attribute that is user controlled. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.1.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Prior to version 21.0, AVideo allows Markdown in video comments and uses Parsedown (v1.7.4) without Safe Mode enabled. Markdown links are not sufficiently sanitized, allowing `javascript:` URIs to be rendered as clickable links. An authenticated low-privilege attacker can post a malicious comment that injects persistent JavaScript. When another user clicks the link, the attacker can perform actions such as session hijacking, privilege escalation (including admin takeover), and data exfiltration. Version 21.0 contains a fix. As a workaround, validate and block unsafe URI schemes (e.g., `javascript:`) before rendering Markdown, and enable Parsedown Safe Mode.
The Ad Inserter WordPress plugin before 2.7.10, Ad Inserter Pro WordPress plugin before 2.7.10 do not sanitise and escape the html_element_selection parameter before outputting it back in the page, leading to a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting

Ghost is an open source content management system. In Ghost versions 5.43.0 through 5.12.04 and 6.0.0 through 6.14.0, an attacker was able to craft a malicious link that, when accessed by an authenticated staff user or member, would execute JavaScript with the victim's permissions, potentially leading to account takeover. Ghost Portal versions 2.29.1 through 2.51.4 and 2.52.0 through 2.57.0 were vulnerable to this issue. Ghost automatically loads the latest patch of the members Portal component via CDN. For Ghost 5.x users, upgrading to v5.121.0 or later fixes the vulnerability. v5.121.0 loads Portal v2.51.5, which contains the patch. For Ghost 6.x users, upgrading to v6.15.0 or later fixes the vulnerability. v6.15.0 loads Portal v2.57.1, which contains the patch. For Ghost installations using a customized or self-hosted version of Portal, it will be necessary to manually rebuild from or update to the latest patch version.

Discourse is an open source discussion platform. Prior to versions 2025.12.2, 2026.1.1, and 2026.2.0, a user full name can be evaluated as raw HTML when the following settings are set: `display_name_on_posts` => true; and `prioritize_username_in_ux` => false. Editing a post of a malicious user would trigger an XSS. Versions 2025.12.2, 2026.1.1, and 2026.2.0 patch the issue. No known workarounds are available.
paintballrefjosh/MaNGOSWebV4 before 4.0.8 is vulnerable to a reflected XSS in install/index.php (step parameter).
SPIP before 4.4.8 allows cross-site scripting (XSS) in the private area via malicious iframe tags. Cross site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Zoho ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus 14 via embedding videos in the language component.
NiceGUI is a Python-based UI framework. The ui.markdown() component uses the markdown2 library to convert markdown content to HTML, which is then rendered via innerHTML. By default, markdown2 allows raw HTML to pass through unchanged. This means that if an application renders user-controlled content through ui.markdown(), an attacker can inject malicious HTML containing JavaScript event handlers. Unlike other NiceGUI components that render HTML (ui.html(), ui.chat_message(), ui.interactive_image()), the ui.markdown() component does not provide or require a sanitize parameter, leaving applications vulnerable to XSS attacks. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.7.0.
MiniGal Nano version 0.3.5 and prior contain a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in index.php via the dir parameter. The application constructs $currentdir from user-controlled input and embeds it into an error message without output encoding, allowing an attacker to supply HTML/JavaScript that is reflected in the response. Successful exploitation can lead to execution of arbitrary script in a victim's browser in the context of the vulnerable application.
