OWASP json-sanitizer before 1.2.2 may emit closing SCRIPT tags and CDATA section delimiters for crafted input. This allows an attacker to inject arbitrary HTML or XML into embedding documents.
FACTION is a PenTesting Report Generation and Collaboration Framework. Prior to 1.8.3, AccessControlInterceptor, the authentication gate for all Struts2 actions, unconditionally calls invocation.invoke() without checking for a valid session. Four action methods in BoilerPlateConfig perform no local session check either, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to read, overwrite, deactivate, and permanently delete any boilerplate template in the system. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.8.3.
The OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set (CRS) is affected by a partial rule set bypass by submitting a specially crafted HTTP Content-Type header field that indicates multiple character encoding schemes. A vulnerable back-end can potentially be exploited by declaring multiple Content-Type "charset" names and therefore bypassing the configurable CRS Content-Type header "charset" allow list. An encoded payload can bypass CRS detection this way and may then be decoded by the backend. The legacy CRS versions 3.0.x and 3.1.x are affected, as well as the currently supported versions 3.2.1 and 3.3.2. Integrators and users are advised to upgrade to 3.2.2 and 3.3.3 respectively.
The OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set (CRS) is affected by a partial rule set bypass for HTTP multipart requests by submitting a payload that uses a character encoding scheme via the Content-Type or the deprecated Content-Transfer-Encoding multipart MIME header fields that will not be decoded and inspected by the web application firewall engine and the rule set. The multipart payload will therefore bypass detection. A vulnerable backend that supports these encoding schemes can potentially be exploited. The legacy CRS versions 3.0.x and 3.1.x are affected, as well as the currently supported versions 3.2.1 and 3.3.2. Integrators and users are advised upgrade to 3.2.2 and 3.3.3 respectively. The mitigation against these vulnerabilities depends on the installation of the latest ModSecurity version (v2.9.6 / v3.0.8).
Modsecurity owasp-modsecurity-crs 3.2.0 (Paranoia level at PL1) has a SQL injection bypass vulnerability. Attackers can use the comment characters and variable assignments in the SQL syntax to bypass Modsecurity WAF protection and implement SQL injection attacks on Web applications.
ESAPI (The OWASP Enterprise Security API) is a free, open source, web application security control library. Prior to version 2.3.0.0, the default implementation of `Validator.getValidDirectoryPath(String, String, File, boolean)` may incorrectly treat the tested input string as a child of the specified parent directory. This potentially could allow control-flow bypass checks to be defeated if an attack can specify the entire string representing the 'input' path. This vulnerability is patched in release 2.3.0.0 of ESAPI. As a workaround, it is possible to write one's own implementation of the Validator interface. However, maintainers do not recommend this.
coreruleset (aka OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set) through 3.3.4 does not detect multiple Content-Type request headers on some platforms. This might allow attackers to bypass a WAF with a crafted payload, aka "Content-Type confusion" between the WAF and the backend application. This occurs when the web application relies on only the last Content-Type header. Other platforms may reject the additional Content-Type header or merge conflicting headers, leading to detection as a malformed header.
The OWASP Java HTML Sanitizer before 20211018.1 does not properly enforce policies associated with the SELECT, STYLE, and OPTION elements.
OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set 3.1.x before 3.1.2, 3.2.x before 3.2.1, and 3.3.x before 3.3.2 is affected by a Request Body Bypass via a trailing pathname.
FACTION is a PenTesting Report Generation and Collaboration Framework. Authentication is bypassed when an attacker registers a new user with admin privileges. This is possible at any time without any authorization. The request must follow the validation rules (no missing information, secure password, etc) but there are no other controls stopping them. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.3.
An issue was discovered in Craft CMS before 3.6.7. In some circumstances, a potential Remote Code Execution vulnerability existed on sites that did not restrict administrative changes (if an attacker were somehow able to hijack an administrator's session).
D-Link DIR845L v1.00-v1.03 contains a Static Default Credential vulnerability in /etc/init0.d/S80telnetd.sh.
An issue was discovered in Emote Remote Mouse through 4.0.0.0. Remote unauthenticated users can execute arbitrary code via crafted UDP packets with no prior authorization or authentication.
There is no account authentication and permission check logic in the firmware and existing apps of SiHAS's SGW-300, ACM-300, GCM-300, so unauthorized users can remotely control the device.

An issue was discovered in DriveLock 24.1 through 24.1.*, 24.2 through 24.2.*, and 25.1 through 25.1.*. An incomplete configuration (agent authentication) in DriveLock tenant allows attackers to impersonate any DriveLock agent on the network against the DES (DriveLock Enterprise Service).
Mesa Labs AmegaView Versions 3.0 and prior’s passcode is generated by an easily reversible algorithm, which may allow an attacker to gain access to the device.
FreePBX Endpoint Manager is a module for managing telephony endpoints in FreePBX systems. Versions are vulnerable to authentication bypass when the authentication type is set to "webserver." When providing an Authorization header with an arbitrary value, a session is associated with the target user regardless of valid credentials. This issue is fixed in versions 16.0.44 and 17.0.23.
Improper Authentication vulnerability in S&D smarthome(smartcare) application can cause authentication bypass and information exposure. Remote attackers can use this vulerability to take control of the home environment including indoor control.
In versions 8.2.1 through 8.5.2 of Pega Infinity, the password reset functionality for local accounts can be used to bypass local authentication checks.
Kaseya Virtual System Administrator (VSA) 7.x before 7.0.0.33, 8.x before 8.0.0.23, 9.0 before 9.0.0.19, and 9.1 before 9.1.0.9 does not properly require authentication, which allows remote attackers to bypass authentication and (1) add an administrative account via crafted request to LocalAuth/setAccount.aspx or (2) write to and execute arbitrary files via a full pathname in the PathData parameter to ConfigTab/uploader.aspx.
SAP NetWeaver ABAP Server and ABAP Platform, versions - 700, 701, 702, 731, 740, 750, 751, 752, 753, 754, 755, 804, does not create information about internal and external RFC user in consistent and distinguished format, which could lead to improper authentication and may be exploited by malicious users to obtain illegitimate access to the system.
An Improper Authentication vulnerability affecting DELMIA Apriso from Release 2020 through Release 2026 could allow an attacker to gain privileged access to the server.
The Burst Statistics – Privacy-Friendly WordPress Analytics (Google Analytics Alternative) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions 3.4.0 to 3.4.1.1. This is due to incorrect return-value handling in the `is_mainwp_authenticated()` function when validating application passwords from the Authorization header. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers, with knowledge of an administrator username, to impersonate that administrator for the duration of the request by supplying any random Basic Authentication password achieving privilege escalation.
A vulnerability was detected in OpenClaw up to 2026.1.24. The impacted element is the function handleBlueBubblesWebhookRequest of the file extensions/bluebubbles/src/monitor.ts of the component bluebubbles Webhook. Performing a manipulation results in improper authentication. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. Upgrading to version 2026.2.12 is sufficient to resolve this issue. The patch is named a6653be0265f1f02b9de46c06f52ea7c81a836e6. The affected component should be upgraded.
The Webinar Solution: Create live/evergreen/automated/instant webinars, stream & Zoom Meetings | WebinarIgnition plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthenticated login token generation due to a missing capability check on the `webinarignition_sign_in_support_staff` and `webinarignition_register_support` functions in all versions up to, and including, 4.03.32. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to generate login tokens for arbitrary WordPress users under certain circumstances, issuing authorization cookies which can lead to authentication bypass.
ZITADEL is an open source identity management platform. Starting in version 2.50.0 and prior to versions 2.71.19, 3.4.4, and 4.6.6, a vulnerability in ZITADEL's federation process allowed auto-linking users from external identity providers to existing users in ZITADEL even if the corresponding IdP was not active or if the organization did not allow federated authentication. This vulnerability stems from the platform's failure to correctly check or enforce an organization's specific security settings during the authentication flow. An Organization Administrator can explicitly disable an IdP or disallow federation, but this setting was not being honored during the auto-linking process. This allowed an unauthenticated attacker to initiate a login using an IdP that should have been disabled for that organization. The platform would incorrectly validate the login and, based on a matching criteria, link the attacker's external identity to an existing internal user account. This may result in a full Account Takeover, bypassing the organization's mandated security controls. Note that accounts with MFA enabled can not be taken over by this attack. Also note that only IdPs create on an instance level would allow this to work. IdPs registered on another organization would always be denied in the (auto-)linking process. Versions 4.6.6, 3.4.4, and 2.71.19 resolve the issue by correctly validating the organization's login policy before auto-linking an external user. No known workarounds are available aside from upgrading.

A business logic issue in the MStore API WordPress plugin, versions before 3.2.0, had an authentication bypass with Sign In With Apple allowing unauthenticated users to recover an authentication cookie with only an email address.
The ONLYOFFICE Docs plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation due to missing authorization within its oo.callback REST endpoint in versions 1.1.0 to 2.2.0. The plugin’s permission callback only verifies that the supplied, encrypted attachment ID maps to an existing attachment post, but does not verify the requester’s identity or capabilities. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as an arbitrary user.
An issue was discovered in Fanvil x210 V2 2.12.20 allowing unauthenticated attackers on the local network to access administrative functions of the device (e.g. file upload, firmware update, reboot...) via a crafted authentication bypass.
Missing Authorization vulnerability in PressTigers Simple Job Board simple-job-board allows Exploiting Incorrectly Configured Access Control Security Levels. This issue affects Simple Job Board: from n/a through <= 2.10.5.
The Newtec Celox UHD (models: CELOXA504, CELOXA820) running firmware version celox-21.6.13 is vulnerable to an authentication bypass. An attacker can exploit this issue by modifying intercepted responses from the /celoxservice endpoint. By injecting a forged response body during the loginWithUserName flow, the attacker can gain Superuser or Operator access without providing valid credentials.
The Plus Addons for Elementor Page Builder WordPress plugin before 4.1.7 was being actively exploited to by malicious actors to bypass authentication, allowing unauthenticated users to log in as any user (including admin) by just providing the related username, as well as create accounts with arbitrary roles, such as admin. These issues can be exploited even if registration is disabled, and the Login widget is not active.
The R.V.R Elettronica TEX product (firmware TEXL-000400, Web GUI TLAN-000400) is vulnerable to broken access control due to improper authentication checks on the /_Passwd.html endpoint. An attacker can send an unauthenticated POST request to change the Admin, Operator, and User passwords, resulting in complete system compromise.
The InfusedWoo Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation via missing authorization in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.2. This is due to missing nonce verification and capability checks in the iwar_save_recipe() AJAX handler. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create a malicious automation recipe that pairs an HTTP post trigger with an auto-login action, allowing any unauthenticated visitor to visit a crafted URL and receive authentication cookies for any targeted user account (e.g., administrator), achieving complete authentication bypass and privilege escalation.
The User Registration & User Profile – Profile Builder WordPress plugin before 3.4.9 has a bug allowing any user to reset the password of the admin of the blog, and gain unauthorised access, due to a bypass in the way the reset key is checked. Furthermore, the admin will not be notified of such change by email for example.
Starting from 2.53.6, 2.54.3, and 2.55.0, Zitadel only required multi factor authentication in case the login policy has either enabled requireMFA or requireMFAForLocalUsers. If a user has set up MFA without this requirement, Zitadel would consider single factor auhtenticated sessions as valid as well and not require multiple factors. Bypassing second authentication factors weakens multifactor authentication and enables attackers to bypass the more secure factor. An attacker can target the TOTP code alone, only six digits, bypassing password verification entirely and potentially compromising accounts with 2FA enabled. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.6.0, 3.4.3, and 2.71.18.
authentik is an open-source Identity Provider. Prior to versions 2023.8.4 and 2023.10.2, when the default admin user has been deleted, it is potentially possible for an attacker to set the password of the default admin user without any authentication. authentik uses a blueprint to create the default admin user, which can also optionally set the default admin users' password from an environment variable. When the user is deleted, the `initial-setup` flow used to configure authentik after the first installation becomes available again. authentik 2023.8.4 and 2023.10.2 fix this issue. As a workaround, ensure the default admin user (Username `akadmin`) exists and has a password set. It is recommended to use a very strong password for this user, and store it in a secure location like a password manager. It is also possible to deactivate the user to prevent any logins as akadmin.
The WP User Frontend WordPress plugin before 3.5.29 uses a user supplied argument called urhidden in its registration form, which contains the role for the account to be created with, encrypted via wpuf_encryption(). This could allow an attacker having access to the AUTH_KEY and AUTH_SALT constant (via an arbitrary file access issue for example, or if the blog is using the default keys) to create an account with any role they want, such as admin
A missing authorization vulnerability exists in Citrix ShareFile Storage Zones Controller before 5.7.3, 5.8.3, 5.9.3, 5.10.1 and 5.11.18 may allow unauthenticated remote compromise of the Storage Zones Controller.
An improper access control vulnerability in GitHub Enterprise Server allowed a workflow job to execute in a self-hosted runner group it should not have had access to. This affects customers using self-hosted runner groups for access control. A repository with access to one enterprise runner group could access all of the enterprise runner groups within the organization because of improper authentication checks during the request. This could cause code to be run unintentionally by the incorrect runner group. This vulnerability affected GitHub Enterprise Server versions from 3.0.0 to 3.0.15 and 3.1.0 to 3.1.7 and was fixed in 3.0.16 and 3.1.8 releases.
Login with hash: The login routine allows the client to log in to the system not by using the password, but by using the hash of the password. Combined with CVE-2021-23858, this allows an attacker to subsequently login to the system.
Permission vulnerability in the mobile application (com.afmobi.boomplayer) may lead to the risk of unauthorized operation.
IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.8.4 could allow unauthenticated attackers to access protected MCP project resources and execute MCP operations due to improper authorization enforcement in the Streamable MCP transport endpoint.
A vulnerability was found in ProjectsAndPrograms School Management System up to 6b6fae5426044f89c08d0dd101c7fa71f9042a59. This affects an unknown part.
