WPO365 | SEAMLESS WORDPRESS + MICROSOFT INTEGRATION (WPO365 | LOGIN) <= 43.2 - Cross-Site Request Forgery to Privilege Escalation via Plugin Settings Update

The WPO365 | Login plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 43.2. This is due to the Ajax_Service::verify_ajax_request() helper gating its wp_verify_nonce() call behind the boolean option 'enable_nonce_check', which is absent from the default 'wpo365_options' array and therefore evaluates to false via get_global_boolean_var(); as a result, the wp_ajax_wpo365_update_settings handler (Ajax_Service::update_settings) accepts POSTs from cross-origin pages and forwards the attacker-supplied 'settings' payload (base64/JSON) to Options_Service::update_options(), which merges every key/value into wpo365_options without a key allowlist. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite arbitrary plugin options — including enabling the SCIM REST endpoint (enable_scim), planting an attacker-known scim_secret_token, and setting new_usr_default_role to 'administrator' — via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

opensourcepos has Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability that leads to Unauthorized Administrator Creation

Open Source Point of Sale (opensourcepos) is a web based point of sale application written in PHP using CodeIgniter framework. Starting in version 3.4.0 and prior to version 3.4.2, a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability exists in the application's filter configuration. The CSRF protection mechanism was **explicitly disabled**, allowing the application to process state-changing requests (POST) without verifying a valid CSRF token. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this by hosting a malicious web page. If a logged-in administrator visits this page, their browser is forced to send unauthorized requests to the application. A successful exploit allows the attacker to silently create a new Administrator account with full privileges, leading to a complete takeover of the system and loss of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The vulnerability has been patched in version 3.4.2. The fix re-enables the CSRF filter in `app/Config/Filters.php` and resolves associated AJAX race conditions by adjusting token regeneration settings. As a workaround, administrators can manually re-enable the CSRF filter in `app/Config/Filters.php` by uncommenting the protection line. However, this is not recommended without applying the full patch, as it may cause functionality breakage in the Sales module due to token synchronization issues.

A remote unauthenticated cross-site request forgery (csrf) vulnerability was discovered in Aruba AirWave Management Platform version(s): Prior to 8.2.12.0. A vulnerability in the AirWave web-based management interface could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to conduct a CSRF attack against a vulnerable system. A successful exploit would consist of an attacker persuading an authorized user to follow a malicious link, resulting in arbitrary actions being carried out with the privilege level of the targeted user.

Axigen Mail Server before 10.5.57 and 10.6.x before 10.6.26 contains a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the WebAdmin interface through improper handling of the _s (breadcrumb) parameter. The application accepts state-changing requests via the GET method and automatically processes base64-encoded commands queued in the _s parameter immediately after administrator authentication. Attackers can craft malicious URLs that, when clicked by administrators, execute arbitrary administrative actions upon login without further user interaction, including creating rogue administrator accounts or modifying critical server configurations.

Authlib: 1-click Account Takeover

Authlib is a Python library which builds OAuth and OpenID Connect servers. In versions 1.0.0 through 1.6.5, cache-backed state/request-token storage is not tied to the initiating user session, so CSRF is possible for any attacker that has a valid state (easily obtainable via an attacker-initiated authentication flow). When a cache is supplied to the OAuth client registry, FrameworkIntegration.set_state_data writes the entire state blob under _state_{app}_{state}, and get_state_data ignores the caller’s session altogether. This issue has been patched in version 1.6.6.

Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in Multiple WSO2 Products via HTTP GET in Admin Services

A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability exists in multiple WSO2 products due to the use of the HTTP GET method for state-changing operations within admin services, specifically in the event processor of the Carbon console. Although the SameSite=Lax cookie attribute is used as a mitigation, it is ineffective in this context because it allows cookies to be sent with cross-origin top-level navigations using GET requests. A malicious actor can exploit this vulnerability by tricking an authenticated user into visiting a crafted link, leading the browser to issue unintended state-changing requests. Successful exploitation could result in unauthorized operations such as data modification, account changes, or other administrative actions. According to WSO2 Secure Production Guidelines, exposure of Carbon console services to untrusted networks is discouraged, which may reduce the impact in properly secured deployments.

Contact Form 7 Style <= 3.1.9 - Cross-Site Request Forgery to Stored Cross-Site Scripting

Due to the lack of sanitization and lack of nonce protection on the custom CSS feature, an attacker could craft a request to inject malicious JavaScript on a site using the Contact Form 7 Style WordPress plugin through 3.1.9. If an attacker successfully tricked a site’s administrator into clicking a link or attachment, then the request could be sent and the CSS settings would be successfully updated to include malicious JavaScript.
