Discourse is an open source discussion platform. In versions prior to 3.5.4, 2025.11.2, 2025.12.1, and 2026.1.0, users archives are viewable by users with moderation privileges even though moderators should not have access to the archives. Private topic/post content made by the users are leaked through the archives leading to a breach of confidentiality. This issue is patched in versions 3.5.4, 2025.11.2, 2025.12.1, and 2026.1.0. To work around this problem, a site admin can temporarily revoke the moderation role from all moderators until the Discourse instance has been upgraded to a version that has been patched.

The License Manager for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data due to a missing capability check on the showLicenseKey() and showAllLicenseKeys() functions in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.6. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with admin dashboard access (contributors by default due to WooCommerce) to view arbitrary decrypted license keys. The functions contain a referrer nonce check. However, these can be retrieved via the dashboard through the "license" JS variable. Please note that the version in trunk is patched, however, the 3.0.7 tagged version is not.

The CloudStack Backup plugin has an improper authorization logic in versions 4.21.0.0 and 4.22.0.0. Anyone with authenticated user-account access in CloudStack 4.21.0.0+ environments, where this plugin is enabled and has access to specific APIs can list backups from any account in the environment. This vulnerability does not allow them to see the contents of the backup. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.22.0.1, which fixes the issue.
n8n before 2.29.8 and 2.30.x before 2.30.1 (affected from 2.27.0, when the OAuth 2.1 consent and token-issuance flow was introduced) does not verify that the authenticated user has access to the workflow referenced as the OAuth resource. On instances with at least one active MCP Server Trigger workflow configured with n8n OAuth2 authentication, a member-level user can register an OAuth client, self-approve consent for another user's workflow, and obtain a valid token. The workflow then runs in the owner's project context with the owner's stored credentials, and the attacker can set tool inputs and read outputs (potentially including data from the owner's connected integrations), breaking user and project isolation.

In the Druid ingestion system, the InputSource is used for reading data from a certain data source. However, the HTTP InputSource allows authenticated users to read data from other sources than intended, such as the local file system, with the privileges of the Druid server process. This is not an elevation of privilege when users access Druid directly, since Druid also provides the Local InputSource, which allows the same level of access. But it is problematic when users interact with Druid indirectly through an application that allows users to specify the HTTP InputSource, but not the Local InputSource. In this case, users could bypass the application-level restriction by passing a file URL to the HTTP InputSource. This issue was previously mentioned as being fixed in 0.21.0 as per CVE-2021-26920 but was not fixed in 0.21.0 or 0.21.1.

ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. Prior to version 7.4.0, a low-privileged user can bypass the /admin/export UI and exfiltrate the entire member directory. The POST /CSVCreateFile.php endpoint generates and streams a CSV containing the full Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of every Person/Family record in the database, without performing any feature-level or object-level authorization check beyond the coarse "has any admin permission" gate inherited from the legacy page bootstrap. In other words, any single non-admin permission flag is enough to reach the CSV bulk-export endpoint, even though such users should not have data export rights. The export script is missing a dedicated isAdmin() (or a new bExportData) authorization check of its own. This issue has been fixed in version 7.4.0.
The Ninja Forms WordPress plugin is vulnerable to sensitive information disclosure via the bulk_export_submissions function found in the ~/includes/Routes/Submissions.php file, in versions up to and including 3.5.7. This allows authenticated attackers to export all Ninja Forms submissions data via the /ninja-forms-submissions/export REST API which can include personally identifiable information.
RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to 3.13.15, 4.0.21, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6, RabbitMQ topic authorization can allow restricted topic writes and binds during metadata-store failures because topic-permission lookup errors from Khepri can collapse to undefined, which the internal backend treats as allow. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.21, 4.1.11, and 4.2.6.
Kestra is an open-source, event-driven orchestration platform. Prior to 1.0.45 and 1.3.21, the previewFileFromExecution endpoint (GET /api/v1/{tenant}/executions/{executionId}/file/preview) contains an access control bypass that allows any authenticated user to read output files from any other execution within the same tenant, bypassing execution-level and namespace-level isolation. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.0.45 and 1.3.21.

Prior to 0.185.0, a cross-tenant authorization flaw in Daytona's notification WebSocket gateway allowed any authenticated user to subscribe to another organization's realtime notification channel and passively receive that organization's events. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.185.0.
Twig is a template language for PHP. Prior to 3.26.0, several Twig language constructs trigger PHP string coercion on a Stringable operand without consulting SecurityPolicy::checkMethodAllowed(), allowing a sandboxed template author to invoke __toString() on objects reachable in the render context through conditional expressions, comparison operators, tests, template-loading tags, dynamic attribute names, spread arguments, the do tag, and the .. range operator. This issue is fixed in version 3.26.0.
phpMyFAQ before 4.1.2 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in AbstractAdministrationController::userHasPermission() that fails to terminate execution after sending a forbidden response. Attackers can access all permission-protected admin pages by requesting their URLs as authenticated users, exposing admin logs, user data, system information, and application configuration.
Outline is a service that allows for collaborative documentation. Prior to 1.7.0, the shares.create API accepts both collectionId and documentId simultaneously and, when published=false, only verifies read access for each—skipping the "share" permission check. A subsequent shares.update authorizes publication using an OR policy (can share collection OR can share document), so an attacker who holds share permission on one unrelated collection can publish a share that exposes an arbitrary document they cannot legitimately share, making it publicly accessible to unauthenticated users. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.7.0.
OpenProject is open-source, web-based project management software. Prior to 17.3.2 and 17.4.0, the GET /api/v3/shares endpoint returns share details for ALL work packages in a project to any user with the view_shared_work_packages permission. The authorization check operates at the project level only — it does not verify the requesting user can actually view each individual shared work package. This allows a regular project member to discover work package IDs and subjects (including confidential titles), which users have been granted shared access, what role level was assigned (Editor, Commenter, Viewer). This vulnerability is fixed in 17.3.2 and 17.4.0.
Hatchet is a platform for orchestrating background tasks, AI agents, and durable workflows at scale. Prior to 0.83.39, a missing authorization directive on the GET /api/v1/stable/dags/tasks endpoint caused Hatchet's tenant-membership check to be skipped for this route. A user authenticated to any tenant on the same Hatchet instance could query the endpoint with another tenant's UUID and a DAG UUID belonging to that tenant, and receive task metadata for that DAG. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.83.39.
Lychee is a free, open-source photo-management tool. Prior to 7.5.4, a SQL operator-precedence bug in SharingController::listAll() causes the orWhereNotNull('user_group_id') clause to escape the ownership filter applied by the when() block. Any authenticated non-admin user with upload permission who owns at least one album can retrieve all user-group-based sharing permissions across the entire instance, including private albums owned by other users. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.5.4.
TypeBot is a chatbot builder tool. In versions 3.15.2, the getLinkedTypebots API endpoint returns full bot definitions to any authenticated user who references a target bot ID in a Typebot Link block, regardless of workspace ownership, leading to IDOR. The authorization check uses Array.filter() with an async callback — since filter() is synchronous, the callback always returns a truthy Promise, so the access control predicate is never actually evaluated. Any authenticated Typebot user can read the full definition of any other workspace's private bots, including: all conversation blocks and logic flow, variable values embedded in the bot (credentials, API keys, PII), webhook URLs and integration configurations. This issue has been fixed in version 3.16.0.
The Web Stories for WordPress plugin supports the WordPress built-in functionality of protecting content with a password. The content is then only accessible to website visitors after entering the password. In WordPress, users with the "Author" role can create stories, but don't have the ability to edit password protected stories. The vulnerability allowed users with said role to bypass this permission check when trying to duplicate the protected story in the plugin's own dashboard, giving them access to the seemingly protected content. PdfDing is a selfhosted PDF manager, viewer and editor offering a seamless user experience on multiple devices. Prior to version 1.7.1, check_shared_access_allowed() validates only session existence — it does not check SharedPdf.inactive (expiration / max views) or SharedPdf.deleted. The Serve and Download endpoints rely solely on this function, allowing previously-authorized users to access shared PDF content after expiration, view limit, or soft-deletion. This issue has been patched in version 1.7.1.
The Profile Builder – User Profile & User Registration Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to sensitive information disclosure via the [user_meta] shortcode in versions up to, and including 3.9.0. This is due to insufficient restriction on sensitive user meta values that can be called via that shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level permissions, and above to retrieve sensitive user meta that can be used to gain access to a high privileged user account. This does require the Usermeta shortcode be enabled to be exploited.
Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to versions 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2, a non-staff user with elevated group membership could access deleted posts belonging to any user due to an overly broad authorization check on the deleted posts index endpoint. Versions 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2 contain a patch. No known workarounds are available.

Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. Prior to version 2.2.1, when the Vikunja API returns tasks, it populates the `related_tasks` field with full task objects for all related tasks without checking whether the requesting user has read permission on those tasks' projects. An authenticated user who can read a task that has cross-project relations will receive full details (title, description, due dates, priority, percent completion, project ID, etc.) of tasks in projects they have no access to. Version 2.2.1 patches the issue.
Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to versions 8.6.53 and 9.6.0-alpha.42, Parse Server's LiveQuery WebSocket interface does not enforce Class-Level Permission (CLP) pointer permissions (readUserFields and pointerFields). Any authenticated user can subscribe to LiveQuery events and receive real-time updates for all objects in classes protected by pointer permissions, regardless of whether the pointer fields on those objects point to the subscribing user. This bypasses the intended read access control, allowing unauthorized access to potentially sensitive data that is correctly restricted via the REST API. This issue has been patched in versions 8.6.53 and 9.6.0-alpha.42.
etcd is a distributed key-value store for the data of a distributed system. Prior to versions 3.4.42, 3.5.28, and 3.6.9, an authenticated user with RBAC restricted permissions on key ranges can use nested transactions to bypass all key-level authorization. This allows any authenticated user with direct access to etcd to effectively ignore all key range restrictions, accessing the entire etcd data store. Kubernetes does not rely on etcd’s built-in authentication and authorization. Instead, the API server handles authentication and authorization itself, so typical Kubernetes deployments are not affected. Versions 3.4.42, 3.5.28, and 3.6.9 contain a patch. If upgrading is not immediately possible, reduce exposure by treating the affected RPCs as unauthenticated in practice. Restrict network access to etcd server ports so only trusted components can connect and require strong client identity at the transport layer, such as mTLS with tightly scoped client certificate distribution.
Frigate is a network video recorder (NVR) with realtime local object detection for IP cameras. In version 0.17.0, a low-privilege authenticated user restricted to one camera can access snapshots from other cameras. This is possible through a chain of two authorization problems: `/api/timeline` returns timeline entries for cameras outside the caller's allowed camera set, then `/api/events/{event_id}/snapshot-clean.webp` declares `Depends(require_camera_access)` but never actually validates `event.camera` after looking up the event. Together, this allows a restricted user to enumerate event IDs from unauthorized cameras and then fetch clean snapshots for those events. Version 0.17.1 fixes the issue.
Incorrect Authorization (CWE-863) in Kibana can lead to information disclosure via Privilege Abuse (CAPEC-122). A user with limited Fleet privileges can exploit an internal API endpoint to retrieve sensitive configuration data, including private keys and authentication tokens, that should only be accessible to users with higher-level settings privileges. The endpoint composes its response by fetching full configuration objects and returning them directly, bypassing the authorization checks enforced by the dedicated settings APIs.
OliveTin gives access to predefined shell commands from a web interface. In 3000.10.2 and earlier, OliveTin’s live EventStream broadcasts execution events and action output to authenticated dashboard subscribers without enforcing per-action authorization. A low-privileged authenticated user can receive output from actions they are not allowed to view, resulting in broken access control and sensitive information disclosure.
OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.0.0.1, sensitivity checks for group encounters are broken because the code only consults form_encounter for sensitivity, while group encounters store sensitivity in form_groups_encounter. As a result, sensitivity is never correctly applied to group encounters, and users who should be restricted from viewing sensitive (e.g. mental health) encounters can view them. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.0.0.1.
OpenClaw before 2026.5.12 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability in Slack plugin approvals that allows exec-authorized users to resolve plugin approvals through the exec approver gate. Attackers with limited exec approval permissions can bypass intended approval splits to approve plugin actions outside operator configuration.
