The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to and including 2.10.0. This is due to insufficient input validation and output escaping of Calculation Product field product names when rendered inside Repeater fields. The validate() method in the GF_Field_Calculation class only validates the quantity field (.3) and completely ignores the product name field (.1), allowing malicious HTML to pass through validation. When the value is saved, the sanitize_entry_value() method returns the raw value without sanitization for fields where HTML is not expected. Subsequently, when an entry is viewed in wp-admin, the get_value_entry_detail() method concatenates the unescaped product name directly into the output string, which is then rendered by the repeater's get_value_entry_detail() method without further escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts via form submissions that will execute whenever an authenticated administrator with the gravityforms_view_entries capability accesses the entry detail page.
The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘alt’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.9.1.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Consent field hidden inputs in versions up to and including 2.10.0. This is due to a flawed state validation mechanism that fails open when input is sanitized by wp_kses(), combined with insufficient output escaping. The state validation logic creates two hashes (raw input and wp_kses-sanitized input) and only fails validation if BOTH hashes don't match the original state. When an attacker injects XSS payloads using tags stripped by wp_kses() (like <svg>), the sanitized hash matches while the malicious raw value is preserved and saved to the database. When administrators view the Entries List page, the stored malicious consent label is retrieved and output without escaping, causing the XSS payload to execute. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in entries that will execute whenever an authenticated administrator accesses the entries list page.
The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Credit Card field's 'Card Type' sub-field (`input_<id>.4`) in all versions up to, and including, 2.9.30. This is due to the `get_value_entry_detail()` method in the `GF_Field_CreditCard` class outputting the card type value without escaping, combined with `get_value_save_entry()` accepting and storing unsanitized user input for the `input_<id>.4` parameter. The Card Type field is not rendered on the frontend form (it is normally derived from the card number), but the backend submission parser blindly accepts it if included in the POST request. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when an administrator views the form entry in the WordPress dashboard.
The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in all versions up to, and including, 2.9.28.1. This is due to a compound failure involving missing authorization on the `create_from_template` AJAX endpoint (allowing any authenticated user to create forms), insufficient input sanitization (`sanitize_text_field()` preserves single quotes), and missing output escaping when the form title is rendered in the Form Switcher dropdown (`title` attribute constructed without `esc_attr()`, and JavaScript `saferHtml` utility only escapes `&`, `<`, `>` but not quotes). This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes when an Administrator searches in the Form Switcher dropdown in the Form Editor.
The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘style_settings’ parameter in versions 2.9.0.1 up to, and including, 2.9.1.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The attack is only successful in the Chrome web browser, and requires directly browsing the media file via the attachment post.
The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to and including 2.10.0. This is due to insufficient validation and output escaping of Product Option field values. The vulnerability exists because the state validation function accepts submitted values where the wp_kses()-sanitized version matches a legitimate option value, but then stores the raw unsanitized value in the database. When administrators view entry details via the Order Summary section, the option_label is output directly without escaping (view-order-summary.php line 32), executing the injected JavaScript. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in entry data that will execute whenever an administrator accesses the entry details page.
The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to and including 2.10.0. This is due to insufficient input validation and output escaping in the SingleProduct field when used inside a Repeater field. When SingleProduct fields are nested within Repeater fields, the validation flow bypasses the state validation mechanism (failed_state_validation()) that would normally prevent tampering with field values. The validate_subfield() method only calls the field's validate() method, which for SingleProduct fields only validates the quantity field and does not check the product name field for tampering. As a result, an attacker can inject arbitrary HTML and JavaScript into the product name field (input .1). This malicious input is then saved to the database without sanitization because sanitize_entry_value() returns raw values when HTML is not expected for the field type. When an administrator views the entry in wp-admin/admin.php?page=gf_entries, the get_value_entry_detail() method outputs the product name without escaping, causing the stored XSS payload to execute in the administrator's browser. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever an administrator accesses an entry containing the malicious payload.
The Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to and including 2.10.0. This is due to insufficient input validation and output escaping on Hidden Product field values when used inside Repeater fields, where repeater subfields bypass state validation checks and the Hidden Product validate() method only validates the quantity field while ignoring the product name field that is later output without proper escaping in the get_value_entry_detail() method. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts through form submissions that will execute whenever an administrator views the entry details.
phpMyFAQ is an open source FAQ web application for PHP 8.1+ and MySQL, PostgreSQL and other databases. Due to insufficient validation on the `contentLink` parameter, it is possible for unauthenticated users to inject HTML code to the page which might affect other users. _Also, requires that adding new FAQs is allowed for guests and that the admin doesn't check the content of a newly added FAQ._ This vulnerability is fixed in 3.2.6.
IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty 23.0.0.3 through 24.0.0.3 is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. This vulnerability allows users to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in a specially crafted URI. IBM X-Force ID: 284576.
Kirby CMS v4.1.0 was discovered to contain a reflected self-XSS vulnerability via the URL parameter.
Cross Site Scripting vulnerability in Zadarma Zadarma extension v.1.0.11 allows a remote attacker to execute a arbitrary code via a crafted script to the webchat component.
This affects versions of the package opencart/opencart from 4.0.0.0 and before 4.1.0.0. A reflected XSS issue was identified in the directory parameter of admin common/filemanager.list route. An attacker could obtain a user's token by tricking the user to click on a maliciously crafted URL. The user is then prompted to login and redirected again upon authentication with the payload automatically executing. If the attacked user has admin privileges, this vulnerability could be used as the start of a chain of exploits like Zip Slip or arbitrary file write vulnerabilities in the admin functionality. **Notes:** 1) This is only exploitable if the attacker knows the name or path of the admin directory. The name of the directory is "admin" by default but there is a pop-up in the dashboard warning users to rename it. 2) The fix for this vulnerability is incomplete. The redirect is removed so that it is not possible for an attacker to control the redirect post admin login anymore, but it is still possible to exploit this issue in admin if the user is authenticated as an admin already.
SAP NWBC for HTML - versions SAP_UI 754, SAP_UI 755, SAP_UI 756, SAP_UI 757, SAP_BASIS 700, SAP_BASIS 701, SAP_BASIS 702, SAP_BASIS 731, does not sufficiently encode user-controlled inputs, resulting in Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker can inject malicious javascript to cause limited impact to confidentiality and integrity of the application data after successful exploitation.
Home Assistant Core before 2026.5.4 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the Shelly integration's async_get_media_image() method that allows attackers controlling a Shelly device's thumb field to serve arbitrary HTML content by supplying a data URI with a text/html content type without validation against an image-only allowlist. Attackers can cause the media player proxy endpoint to serve attacker-controlled bytes with Content-Type text/html in the Home Assistant web origin, enabling theft of session tokens from local storage and authenticated calls to sensitive service endpoints including lock, alarm, and cover controls.
The User Registration – Custom Registration Form, Login Form, and User Profile WordPress Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'Display Name' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.1.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This vulnerability requires social engineering to successfully exploit, and the impact would be very limited due to the attacker requiring a user to login as the user with the injected payload for execution.
The AHAthat Plugin WordPress plugin through 1.6 does not escape the $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] parameter before outputting it back in an attribute, which could lead to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting in old web browsers
The wpDataTables – WordPress Data Table, Dynamic Tables & Table Charts Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in all versions up to, and including, 6.5.0.4. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the prepareCellOutput() method of the LinkWDTColumn, ImageWDTColumn, and EmailWDTColumn classes. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, given that they can trick an Administrator into importing data from an attacker-controlled source and the affected column types (Link, Image, or Email) are configured.
The Enable Media Replace plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the SHORTPIXEL_DEBUG parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Exploiting this vulnerability requires the attacker to know the ID of an attachment uploaded by the user they are attacking.
secure_headers manages application of security headers with many safe defaults. Prior to 7.3.0, secure_headers builds the Content-Security-Policy value by stitching directives with ; separators, and build_sandbox_list_directive, build_media_type_list_directive, and build_report_to_directive interpolate caller-supplied strings without scrubbing ;, \r, or \n. When untrusted input reaches SecureHeaders.override_content_security_policy_directives or append APIs for :sandbox, :plugin_types, or :report_to, an attacker can inject a CSP directive such as script-src 'unsafe-inline' * before the legitimate script-src, enabling XSS reachability through these sinks or CSP report exfiltration. This issue is fixed in version 7.3.0.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions 29.0 and below contain a stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability in the YouTubeAPI plugin. The plugin renders the snippet.title field returned by the YouTube Data API into the homepage gallery markup with no HTML encoding. The title is set by the YouTube video uploader (anyone in the world) and is treated by AVideo as trusted content. A YouTube uploader who controls a video matching the operator's configured query injects HTML into the AVideo homepage by setting their video's title to a JavaScript-bearing string; the payload then executes in the browser of every visitor who loads any page that renders the gallery. When the visitor is an AVideo administrator, the injected JavaScript performs any admin action (create user, promote to admin, change configuration, install plugin) that uses cookie-based authentication without an additional CSRF token, escalating the bug into full administrative takeover. The payload persists for the duration of cacheTimeout (default 3600 seconds) after the malicious title is set on YouTube and survives YouTube removing the hostile video for the same window. This issue has been addressed by commit https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo/commit/7292129eaee5f609beae103b5cb387d55f17b877.
This vulnerability occurred due to missing input sanitization for one of the output fields that is extracted from headers on specific section of page causing a reflective cross site scripting attack. An attacker would need to perform a Man in the Middle attack in order to change header for a remote victim.
Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. From 13.4.0 to before 15.5.16 and 16.2.5, App Router applications that rely on CSP nonces can be vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting when deployed behind shared caches. In affected versions, malformed nonce values derived from request headers could be reflected into rendered HTML in an unsafe way, allowing an attacker to poison cached responses and cause script execution for later visitors. This vulnerability is fixed in 15.5.16 and 16.2.5.
SAP Wily Introscope Enterprise Manager allows an unauthenticated attacker to craft a specially crafted URL. Under certain conditions, when accessed by a victim, the injected script could execute in the users browser within the context of the application. This issue has a low impact on the confidentiality and integrity of the application with no impact on availability.
Adobe Experience Manager Forms JEE versions LTS SP1, 6.5.24.0 and earlier are affected by a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into a web page, potentially gaining elevated access or control over the victim's account or session. Exploit depends on conditions beyond the attacker's control. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must visit a maliciously crafted URL or interact with a compromised web page. Scope is changed.
DiceBear is an avatar library for designers and developers. Starting in version 5.0.0 and prior to versions 5.4.4, 6.1.4, 7.1.4, 8.0.3, and 9.4.1, SVG attribute values derived from user-supplied options (`backgroundColor`, `fontFamily`, `textColor`) were not XML-escaped before interpolation into SVG output. This could allow Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) when applications pass untrusted input to `createAvatar()` and serve the resulting SVG inline or with `Content-Type: image/svg+xml`. Starting in versions 5.4.4, 6.1.4, 7.1.4, 8.0.3, and 9.4.1, all affected SVG attribute values are properly escaped using XML entity encoding. Users should upgrade to the listed patched versions. Some mitigating factors limit vulnerability. Applications that validate input against the library's JSON Schema before passing it to `createAvatar()` are not affected. The DiceBear CLI validates input via AJV and was not vulnerable. Exploitation requires that an application passes untrusted, unvalidated external input directly as option values.
A vulnerability was found in kaltura mwEmbed up to 2.91. It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file modules/KalturaSupport/components/share/share.js of the component Share Plugin. The manipulation of the argument res leads to cross site scripting. The attack may be launched remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 2.92.rc1 is able to address this issue. The name of the patch is 4f11b6f6610acd6d89de5f8be47cf7c610643845. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. The identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-217664.
The Traveloka application 3.14.0 for Android exports com.traveloka.android.activity.common.WebViewActivity, leading to the opening of arbitrary URLs, which can inject deceptive content into the UI. (When in physical possession of the device, opening local files is also possible.) NOTE: As of 2019-09-23, the vendor has not agreed that this issue has serious impact. The vendor states that the issue is not critical because it does not allow Elevation of Privilege, Sensitive Data Leakage, or any critical unauthorized activity from a malicious user. The vendor also states that a victim must first install a malicious APK to their application.
SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform allows an attacker to inject JavaScript code in Web Intelligence reports. This code is then executed in the victim's browser each time the vulnerable page is visited by the victim. On successful exploitation, an attacker could cause limited impact on confidentiality and integrity within the scope of victims browser. There is no impact on availability. This vulnerability occurs only when script/html execution is enabled by the administrator in Central Management Console.
The Checkout Field Editor (Checkout Manager) for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘render_review_request_notice’ function in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Due to a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP (Applications based on Business Server Pages), an unauthenticated attacker could craft a URL that exploits an unprotected URL parameter to embed a malicious script. If a victim clicks the link, the injected input is processed during web page generation, resulting in the execution of malicious content in the victims browser context. This could allow the attacker to access and/or modify information, impacting the confidentiality and integrity of the application, with no impact to availability.
The Open User Map PRO plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'oum_location_notification' parameter in versions up to, and including, 1.4.31 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The Discount Rules for WooCommerce – Create Smart WooCommerce Coupons & Discounts, Bulk Discount, BOGO Coupons plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to the use of add_query_arg without appropriate escaping on the URL in all versions up to, and including, 2.6.5. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Please note that this is only exploitable when the 'Leave a Review' notice is present, which occurs after 100 orders are made and disappears after a user dismisses the notice.
The Open eClass platform (formerly known as GUnet eClass) is a complete course management system. Prior to version 4.2, a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of authenticated users by crafting malicious URLs and tricking victims into visiting them. This issue has been patched in version 4.2.
Termix is a web-based server management platform with SSH terminal, tunneling, and file editing capabilities. From 1.7.0 to 1.9.0, Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Termix File Manager component. The application fails to sanitize SVG file content before rendering it. This allows an attacker who has compromised a managed SSH server to plant a malicious file, which, when previewed by the Termix user, executes arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the application. The vulnerability is located in src/ui/desktop/apps/file-manager/components/FileViewer.tsx. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.10.0.
A Reflected Cross Site Scripting flaw was found in all pki-core 10.x.x versions module from the pki-core server due to the CA Agent Service not properly sanitizing the certificate request page. An attacker could inject a specially crafted value that will be executed on the victim's browser.
An error in the URL handler of the VIDEOJET multi 4000 may lead to a reflected cross site scripting (XSS) in the web-based interface. An attacker with knowledge of the encoder address can send a crafted link to a user, which will execute JavaScript code in the context of the user.
The Simple:Press plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'sforum_[md5 hash of the WordPress URL]' cookie value in versions up to, and including, 6.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. This would be highly complex to exploit as it would require the attacker to set the cookie a cookie for the targeted user.
A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the iHistorian Data Display of WorkstationST (<v07.09.15) could allow an attacker to compromise a victim's browser. WorkstationST is only deployed in specific, controlled environments rendering attack complexity significantly higher than if the attack were conducted on the software in isolation. WorkstationST v07.09.15 can be found in ControlST v07.09.07 SP8 and greater.
TYPO3 is an open source PHP based web content management system released under the GNU GPL. In affected versions DOM processing instructions are not handled correctly. This allows bypassing the cross-site scripting mechanism of typo3/html-sanitizer. This vulnerability has been addressed in versions 1.5.3 and 2.1.4. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
Inappropriate implementation in Views in Google Chrome on Linux prior to 149.0.7827.155 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to inject arbitrary scripts or HTML (UXSS) via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Versions of the package jsondiffpatch before 0.7.2 are vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) via HtmlFormatter::nodeBegin. An attacker can inject malicious scripts into HTML payloads that may lead to code execution if untrusted payloads were used as source for the diff, and the result renderer using the built-in html formatter on a private website.
Frigate is an open source network video recorder. Prior to version 0.13.0 Beta 3, there is a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in any API endpoints reliant on the `/<camera_name>` base path as values provided for the path are not sanitized. Exploiting this vulnerability requires the attacker to both know very specific information about a user's Frigate server and requires an authenticated user to be tricked into clicking a specially crafted link to their Frigate instance. This vulnerability could exploited by an attacker under the following circumstances: Frigate publicly exposed to the internet (even with authentication); attacker knows the address of a user's Frigate instance; attacker crafts a specialized page which links to the user's Frigate instance; attacker finds a way to get an authenticated user to visit their specialized page and click the button/link. As the reflected values included in the URL are not sanitized or escaped, this permits execution arbitrary Javascript payloads. Version 0.13.0 Beta 3 contains a patch for this issue.
A vulnerability has been identified in SINEC NMS (All versions < V2.0). The affected application improperly sanitizes certain SNMP configuration data retrieved from monitored devices. An attacker with access to a monitored device could prepare a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attack that may lead to unintentional modification of application data by legitimate users.
A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was identified in a parameter in Omada Controllers due to improper input sanitization. Exploitation requires advanced conditions, such as network positioning or emulating a trusted entity, and user interaction by an authenticated administrator. If successful, an attacker could execute arbitrary JavaScript in the administrator’s browser, potentially exposing sensitive information and compromising confidentiality.
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in Comodo Dragon up to 134.0.6998.179. This affects an unknown part of the component IP DNS Leakage Detector. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
TYPO3 HTML Sanitizer is an HTML sanitizer, written in PHP, aiming to provide cross-site-scripting-safe markup based on explicitly allowed tags, attributes and values. Starting in version 1.0.0 and prior to versions 1.5.1 and 2.1.2, due to an encoding issue in the serialization layer, malicious markup nested in a `noscript` element was not encoded correctly. `noscript` is disabled in the default configuration, but might have been enabled in custom scenarios. This allows bypassing the cross-site scripting mechanism of TYPO3 HTML Sanitizer. Versions 1.5.1 and 2.1.2 fix the problem.
A vulnerability was found in Travelmate Travelable Trek Management Solution 1.0. It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the component Comment Box Handler. The manipulation of the argument comment leads to cross site scripting. The attack may be launched remotely.
