swagger-typescript-api generates API clients for Fetch or Axios from OpenAPI specifications. Prior to 13.12.2, src/resolved-swagger-schema.ts getRemoteRequestHeaders forwards --authorizationToken to every URL fetched by fetchRemoteSchemaDocument while warmUpRemoteSchemasCache resolves external $ref URLs, allowing an attacker-controlled OpenAPI spec to exfiltrate the developer or CI bearer token to a cross-origin endpoint. This issue is fixed in version 13.12.2.
A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Simple Machines Forum v2.1.6 allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML via injecting a crafted payload into the Forum Name parameter.
A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in RiteCMS v3.1.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of a user's browser via a crafted payload.
GlobalNewFiles is a MediaWiki extension maintained by Miraheze. Prior to commit number cee254e1b158cdb0ddbea716b1d3edc31fa4fb5d, the username column of the GlobalNewFiles special page is vulnerable to a stored XSS. Commit number cee254e1b158cdb0ddbea716b1d3edc31fa4fb5d contains a patch. As a workaround, one may disallow <,> (or other characters required to insert html/js) from being used in account names so an XSS is not possible.
ThinkDashboard is a self-hosted bookmark dashboard built with Go and vanilla JavaScript. In versions 0.6.7 and below, an attacker can upload any file they wish to the /data directory of the web application via the backup import feature. When importing a backup, an attacker can first choose a .zip file to bypass the client-side file-type verification. This could lead to stored XSS, or be used for other nefarious purposes such as malware distribution. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.8.
Insufficient validation of untrusted input in Intents in Google Chrome on Android prior to 95.0.4638.69 allowed a remote attacker to arbitrarily browser to a malicious URL via a crafted HTML page.
Improper Input Validation vulnerability in WatchGuard Fireware OS allows an attacker to manipulate the value of the HTTP Host header in requests sent to the Web UI. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to redirect users to malicious websites, poison the web cache, or inject malicious JavaScript into responses sent by the Web UI. This issue affects Fireware OS: from 12.0 up to and including 12.11.
Insufficient validation of untrusted input in Omnibox in Google Chrome prior to 148.0.7778.96 allowed a remote attacker to inject arbitrary scripts or HTML (UXSS) via malicious network traffic. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
The Zoom Client for Meetings before version 5.7.3 (for Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, and Windows) contain a server side request forgery vulnerability in the chat\'s "link preview" functionality. In versions prior to 5.7.3, if a user were to enable the chat\'s "link preview" feature, a malicious actor could trick the user into potentially sending arbitrary HTTP GET requests to URLs that the actor cannot reach directly.
A DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the text editor feature of the Onlook web application 0.2.32. This vulnerability occurs because user-supplied input is not properly sanitized before being directly injected into the DOM via innerHTML when editing a text element. An attacker can exploit this to inject malicious HTML and script code, which is then executed within the context of the preview iframe, allowing for the execution of arbitrary scripts in the user's session.
TS3 Manager is modern web interface for maintaining Teamspeak3 servers. A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in versions 2.2.1 and earlier. The vulnerability exists in the error handling mechanism of the login page, where malicious scripts embedded in server hostnames are executed in the victim's browser context without proper sanitization. This issue is fixed in version 2.2.2.
A validation issue was addressed with improved input sanitization. This issue is fixed in iTunes U 3.8.3. Processing a maliciously crafted URL may lead to arbitrary javascript code execution.
In Apache Dubbo prior to 2.6.9 and 2.7.9, the usage of parseURL method will lead to the bypass of white host check which can cause open redirect or SSRF vulnerability.
Insecure caller check and input validation vulnerabilities in SearchKeyword deeplink logic prior to Samsung Internet 16.0.2 allows unstrusted applications to execute script codes in Samsung Internet.
Dell iDRAC8 versions prior to 2.75.100.75 contain a host header injection vulnerability. A remote unauthenticated attacker may potentially exploit this vulnerability by injecting arbitrary ‘Host’ header values to poison a web-cache or trigger redirections.
Multiple vulnerabilities in the web-based management interface of Cisco Data Center Network Manager (DCNM) could allow a remote attacker with network-operator privileges to conduct a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack or a reflected file download (RFD) attack against a user of the interface. For more information about these vulnerabilities, see the Details section of this advisory.
The Brizy – Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.1. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on form submissions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to submit forms intended for public use as another user via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. On sites where unfiltered_html is enabled, this can lead to the admin unknowingly adding a Stored Cross-Site Scripting payload.
AEM versions 6.5.5.0 (and below), 6.4.8.1 (and below), 6.3.3.8 (and below) and 6.2 SP1-CFP20 (and below) are affected by an HTML injection vulnerability in the content editor component that allows unauthenticated users to craft an HTTP request that includes arbitrary HTML code in a parameter value. An attacker could then use the malicious GET request to lure victims to perform unsafe actions in the page (ex. phishing).
netlify-ipx is an on-Demand image optimization for Netlify using ipx. In versions prior to 1.2.3, an attacker can bypass the source image domain allowlist by sending specially crafted headers, causing the handler to load and return arbitrary images. Because the response is cached globally, this image will then be served to visitors without requiring those headers to be set. XSS can be achieved by requesting a malicious SVG with embedded scripts, which would then be served from the site domain. Note that this does not apply to images loaded in `<img>` tags, as scripts do not execute in this context. The image URL can be set in the header independently of the request URL, meaning any site images that have not previously been cached can have their cache poisoned. This problem has been fixed in version 1.2.3. As a workaround, cached content can be cleared by re-deploying the site.
Improper Input Validation vulnerability in OpenText Self Service Password Reset allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). This issue affects Self Service Password Reset before 4.5.0.2 and 4.4.0.6
The iubenda-cookie-law-solution plugin before 2.3.5 for WordPress does not restrict URL sanitization to http protocols.
OpenMRS 2.9 and prior copies "Referrer" header values into an html element named "redirectUrl" within many webpages (such as login.htm). There is insufficient validation for this parameter, which allows for the possibility of cross-site scripting.
It was discovered that the /DsaDataTest endpoint is susceptible to Cross-site scripting (XSS) attack. It was noted that the Metric parameter does not have any input checks on the user input that allows an attacker to craft its own malicious payload to trigger a XSS vulnerability.
An injection issue was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Catalina 10.15.4. A remote attacker may be able to cause arbitrary javascript code execution.
Open Redirect vulnerability exists in VMware vRealize Log Insight prior to 8.1.0 due to improper Input validation.
Nagios XI versions prior to 5.6.11 contain unauthenticated vulnerabilities in the Highcharts local exporting tool. Crafted export requests could (1) inject script into exported/returned content due to insufficient output encoding (XSS), and (2) cause the server to fetch attacker-specified URLs (SSRF), potentially accessing internal network resources. An unauthenticated remote attacker can leverage these issues to execute script in a user's browser when the exported content is viewed and to disclose sensitive information reachable from the export server via SSRF.
Dell Networking X-Series firmware versions prior to 3.0.1.8 contain a host header injection vulnerability. A remote unauthenticated attacker may potentially exploit this vulnerability by injecting arbitrary host header values to poison the web-cache or trigger redirections.
Improper Input Validation, Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Web GUI of Secomea GateManager allows an attacker to execute arbitrary javascript code. This issue affects: Secomea GateManager all versions prior to 9.4.
chat in OX App Suite 7.10.5 has Improper Input Validation. A user can be redirected to a rogue OX Chat server via a development-related hook.
Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. In versions 12.0.0 through 15.5.20 and 16.0.0 through 16.2.10, a rewrites() or redirects() rule that builds its external destination hostname from request-controlled input can be pointed at an arbitrary hostname, regardless of the rule's hostname suffix. For a rewrite, Next.js proxies the request to that arbitrary host and serves the response from the application's origin, leading to Server-Side Request forgery. A redirects() rule configured this way is vulnerable to an Open Redirect. This issue has been fixed in versions 15.5.21 and 16.2.11.
The AWV component of Mitel MiCollab before 9.2 could allow an attacker to view system information by sending arbitrary code due to improper input validation, aka XSS.
The AWV portal of Mitel MiCollab before 9.2 could allow an attacker to gain access to conference information by sending arbitrary code due to improper input validation, aka XSS. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to view user conference information.
A flaw was found in Django REST Framework versions before 3.12.0 and before 3.11.2. When using the browseable API viewer, Django REST Framework fails to properly escape certain strings that can come from user input. This allows a user who can control those strings to inject malicious <script> tags, leading to a cross-site-scripting (XSS) vulnerability.
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 22.0.0-rc.2, 21.2.15 20.3.22, and 19.2.23, an issue in the @angular/service-worker package compromises the integrity of request-policy enforcement during request reconstruction. When the Angular Service Worker intercepts network requests for matched assets, it reconstructs a new Request object using an internal helper function. During this reconstruction process, the helper function strips the strict, client-defined request redirect policy configuration (such as redirect: 'error'), falling back to the browser's default 'follow' strategy. If the target web application makes client-side requests with a strict policy (e.g., expecting a network error instead of automatically following redirects), the service worker will bypass this instruction and automatically follow HTTP 3xx redirects to other destinations. This acts as an unintended proxy/intermediary ("Confused Deputy") and can result in cookie/credential exposure or same-origin session-restricted data leakage if public dynamic routes redirect to sensitive routes. This vulnerability is fixed in 22.0.0-rc.2, 21.2.15, 20.3.22, and 19.2.23.
Insufficient data validation in Browser Switcher in Google Chrome prior to 124.0.6367.60 allowed a remote attacker to inject scripts or HTML into a privileged page via a malicious file. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Webex Meetings Server Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to redirect a user to an undesired web page. The vulnerability is due to improper input validation of the URL parameters in an HTTP request that is sent to an affected device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by crafting an HTTP request that could cause the web application to redirect the request to a specified malicious URL. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to redirect a user to a malicious website.
The Request package through 2.88.1 for Node.js allows a bypass of SSRF mitigations via an attacker-controller server that does a cross-protocol redirect (HTTP to HTTPS, or HTTPS to HTTP). NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 22.0.0-next.12, 21.2.13, 20.3.21, and 19.2.22, a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in @angular/platform-server. The issue stems from how the server-side rendering (SSR) engine processes the request URL provided to the rendering entry points. When an absolute-form URL (e.g., http://evil.com) is passed to the rendering engine, the internal ServerPlatformLocation can be manipulated into adopting the attacker-controlled domain as the "current" hostname. Consequently, any relative HttpClient requests or PlatformLocation.hostname references are redirected to the attacker controlled server, potentially exposing internal APIs or metadata services. This vulnerability is fixed in 22.0.0-next.12, 21.2.13, 20.3.21, and 19.2.22.
A vulnerability in the web interface of Cisco Managed Services Accelerator (MSX) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to redirect a user to a malicious web page. The vulnerability is due to improper input validation of the parameters of an HTTP request. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by intercepting a user's HTTP request and modifying it into a request that causes the web interface to redirect the user to a specific malicious URL. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to redirect a user to a malicious web page. This type of vulnerability is known as an open redirect attack and is used in phishing attacks that get users to unknowingly visit malicious sites.
The Apify MCP server enables AI agents to extract data from websites using ready-made scrapers, crawlers, and automation tools available on the Apify Store. Prior to 0.9.21, the fetch-apify-docs tool in src/tools/common/fetch_apify_docs.ts validates allowlisted documentation domains with String.startsWith() rather than URL hostname comparison, allowing attacker-controlled URLs such as `https://docs.apify.com.evil.com/` and `https://docs.apify.com@evil.com/` to pass the ALLOWED_DOC_DOMAINS check and return arbitrary fetched content to the LLM. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.21.
Server-side request forgery (ssrf) in Microsoft Exchange Server allows an authorized attacker to perform spoofing over a network.
Lack of Input Validation in the web UI might lead to potential exploitation. This issue affects BLU-IC2: through 1.19.5; BLU-IC4: through 1.19.5.
A Server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the ProductConfig servlet in Zoho ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus through 6013 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to perform blind HTTP requests or perform a Cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against the administrative interface via an HTTP request, a different vulnerability than CVE-2019-3905.
Lack of application manifest sanitation could lead to potential stored XSS.This issue affects BLU-IC2: through 1.19.5; BLU-IC4: through 1.19.5.
memos is a privacy-first, lightweight note-taking service. In memos 0.13.2, an SSRF vulnerability exists at the /o/get/image that allows unauthenticated users to enumerate the internal network and retrieve images. The response from the image request is then copied into the response of the current server request, causing a reflected XSS vulnerability. Version 0.22.0 of memos removes the vulnerable file.
ZITADEL, open source authentication management software, uses Go templates to render the login UI. Due to a improper use of the `text/template` instead of the `html/template` package, the Login UI did not sanitize input parameters prior to versions 2.47.3, 2.46.1, 2.45.1, 2.44.3, 2.43.9, 2.42.15, and 2.41.15. An attacker could create a malicious link, where he injected code which would be rendered as part of the login screen. While it was possible to inject HTML including JavaScript, the execution of such scripts would be prevented by the Content Security Policy. Versions 2.47.3, 2.46.1, 2.45.1, 2.44.3, 2.43.9, 2.42.15, and 2.41.15 contain a patch for this issue. No known workarounds are available.
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Finesse could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct a stored XSS attack by exploiting an RFI vulnerability. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input for specific HTTP requests that are sent to an affected device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a user to click a crafted link. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the affected interface or access sensitive information on the affected device.
DedeCMS v5.7 was discovered to contain a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability via the component /dede/mychannel_add.php
In JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA before 2023.3.3 a plugin for JetBrains Space was able to send an authentication token to an inappropriate URL
This package provides universal methods to use multiple template engines with the Fiber web framework using the Views interface. This vulnerability specifically impacts web applications that render user-supplied data through this template engine, potentially leading to the execution of malicious scripts in users' browsers when visiting affected web pages. The vulnerability has been addressed, the template engine now defaults to having autoescape set to `true`, effectively mitigating the risk of XSS attacks.
