LocalAI - Server-Side Request Forgery via POST /models/apply

LocalAI contains an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability in the POST /models/apply endpoint that allows attackers to fetch arbitrary internal URLs. The endpoint passes unsanitized gallery URL fields directly to gallery.GetGalleryConfigFromURLWithContext without proper validation, enabling attackers to force the server to issue HTTP GET requests to private and loopback ranges with partial response content leaked through error messages.

Axios: shouldBypassProxy does not recognize IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses, allowing NO_PROXY bypass (incomplete fix for CVE-2025-62718)

Axios is a promise based HTTP client for the browser and Node.js. Prior to 0.32.0 and 1.16.0, Axios does not normalise IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses. When NO_PROXY lists an IPv4 address such as 127.0.0.1 or 169.254.169.254, a request URL using the IPv4-mapped IPv6 form (::ffff:7f00:1, ::ffff:a9fe:a9fe) still routes through the configured proxy. Node.js resolves these addresses to the underlying IPv4 host, so the request reaches the internal service via the proxy rather than being blocked. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.32.0 and 1.16.0.

FOG SSRF via unauthenticated endpoint(s)

FOG is a free open-source cloning/imaging/rescue suite/inventory management system. Prior to version 1.5.10, a server-side-request-forgery (SSRF) vulnerability allowed an unauthenticated user to trigger a GET request as the server to an arbitrary endpoint and URL scheme. This also allows remote access to files visible to the Apache user group. Other impacts vary based on server configuration. Version 1.5.10 contains a patch.

Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in gradio-app/gradio

A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in the gradio-app/gradio version 4.21.0, specifically within the `/queue/join` endpoint and the `save_url_to_cache` function. The vulnerability arises when the `path` value, obtained from the user and expected to be a URL, is used to make an HTTP request without sufficient validation checks. This flaw allows an attacker to send crafted requests that could lead to unauthorized access to the local network or the AWS metadata endpoint, thereby compromising the security of internal servers.

Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in nuxt-icon

Nuxt is a free and open-source framework to create full-stack web applications and websites with Vue.js. `nuxt/icon` provides an API to allow client side icon lookup. This endpoint is at `/api/_nuxt_icon/[name]`. The proxied request path is improperly parsed, allowing an attacker to change the scheme and host of the request. This leads to SSRF, and could potentially lead to sensitive data exposure. The `new URL` constructor is used to parse the final path. This constructor can be passed a relative scheme or path in order to change the host the request is sent to. This constructor is also very tolerant of poorly formatted URLs. As a result we can pass a path prefixed with the string `http:`. This has the effect of changing the scheme to HTTP. We can then subsequently pass a new host, for example `http:127.0.0.1:8080`. This would allow us to send requests to a local server. This issue has been addressed in release version 1.4.5 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.

Strapi v4.24.4 was discovered to contain a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the component /strapi.io/_next/image. This vulnerability allows attackers to scan for open ports or access sensitive information via a crafted GET request. NOTE: The Strapi Development Community argues that this issue is not valid. They contend that "the strapi/admin was wrongly attributed a flaw that only pertains to the strapi.io website, and which, at the end of the day, does not pose any real SSRF risk to applications that make use of the Strapi library."

Python-kdcproxy: unauthenticated ssrf via realm‑controlled dns srv

If kdcproxy receives a request for a realm which does not have server addresses defined in its configuration, by default, it will query SRV records in the DNS zone matching the requested realm name. This creates a server-side request forgery vulnerability, since an attacker could send a request for a realm matching a DNS zone where they created SRV records pointing to arbitrary ports and hostnames (which may resolve to loopback or internal IP addresses). This vulnerability can be exploited to probe internal network topology and firewall rules, perform port scanning, and exfiltrate data. Deployments where the "use_dns" setting is explicitly set to false are not affected.

Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server – Server Side Request Forgery

The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination. (CWE-918)   Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server versions before 10.2.0.0 and 9.3.0.9, including 8.3.x, do not validate the Host header of incoming HTTP/HTTPS requests.   By providing URLs to unexpected hosts or ports, attackers can make it appear that the server is sending the request, possibly bypassing access controls such as firewalls that prevent the attackers from accessing the URLs directly. The server can be used as a proxy to conduct port scanning of hosts in internal networks, use other URLs such as that can access documents on the system (using file://), or use other protocols such as gopher:// or tftp://, which may provide greater control over the contents of requests.

Crawl4AI unauthenticated SSRF in Docker streaming crawl endpoint

Crawl4AI is an open-source LLM-friendly web crawler and scraper. Prior to 0.9.0, the Docker API server applied its SSRF destination check on the non-streaming /crawl path but not on the streaming path. handle_stream_crawl_request passed seed URLs straight to the crawler with no destination validation, allowing a remote unauthenticated client to call POST /crawl/stream or POST /crawl with crawler_config.stream=true with a URL pointing at an internal, private, or link-local address; the server fetched it and streamed the response body back. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.0.

A Server-Side Forgery Request can be activated unmarshalling with XStream to access data streams from an arbitrary URL referencing a resource in an intranet or the local host

XStream is a Java library to serialize objects to XML and back again. In XStream before version 1.4.16, there is a vulnerability which may allow a remote attacker to request data from internal resources that are not publicly available only by manipulating the processed input stream. No user is affected, who followed the recommendation to setup XStream's security framework with a whitelist limited to the minimal required types. If you rely on XStream's default blacklist of the Security Framework, you will have to use at least version 1.4.16.

Terrascan v1.18.3 and prior are vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via external URL resolution in uploaded IaC templates when running in server mode. When Terrascan parses uploaded ARM templates or CloudFormation templates, it resolves external URLs referenced within those templates via hashicorp/go-getter with all default detectors enabled, including FileDetector. An unauthenticated remote attacker can upload an ARM template containing a templateLink.uri or parametersLink.uri field, or a CloudFormation template containing an AWS::CloudFormation::Stack TemplateURL field, pointing to an attacker-controlled URL. Terrascan will fetch the attacker-controlled URL server-side. Unlike SSRF via the remote scan endpoint, file:// URLs are directly usable without requiring an X-Terraform-Get redirect, enabling local file read. This affects deployments running terrascan in server mode (terrascan server), which binds to 0.0.0.0 with no authentication. Note: Terrascan was archived in August 2023 and no patch will be released.

AVideo has a SSRF Protection Bypass via IPv4-Mapped IPv6 Addresses in Unauthenticated LiveLinks Proxy

WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `isSSRFSafeURL()` function in AVideo can be bypassed using IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses (`::ffff:x.x.x.x`). The unauthenticated `plugin/LiveLinks/proxy.php` endpoint uses this function to validate URLs before fetching them with curl, but the IPv4-mapped IPv6 prefix passes all checks, allowing an attacker to access cloud metadata services, internal networks, and localhost services. Firecrawl Playwright Service SSRF Protection Bypass via Missing Post-Redirect Validation

Firecrawl version 2.8.0 and prior contain a server-side request forgery (SSRF) protection bypass vulnerability in the Playwright scraping service where network policy validation is applied only to the initial user-supplied URL and not to subsequent redirect destinations. Attackers can supply an externally valid URL that passes validation and returns an HTTP redirect to an internal or restricted resource, allowing the browser to follow the redirect and fetch the final destination without revalidation, thereby gaining access to internal network services and sensitive endpoints. This issue is distinct from CVE-2024-56800, which describes redirect-based SSRF generally. This vulnerability specifically arises from a post-redirect enforcement gap in implemented SSRF protections, where validation is applied only to the initial request and not to the final redirected destination.

Crawl4AI: SSRF via proxy settings in the Docker server bypasses the crawl-URL SSRF check

Crawl4AI is an open-source LLM friendly web crawler & scraper. Prior to 0.8.9, the Docker API server applied its SSRF destination check to the crawl target URL only, not to the proxy address. An unauthenticated request could supply a proxy pointing at an internal IP and route the browser through it, reaching internal services and cloud-metadata endpoints, while using a perfectly valid crawl URL. The Docker API is unauthenticated by default. /crawl, /crawl/stream, and /crawl/job accept a browser_config (and crawler_config). The following all feed Chromium's egress and were unchecked: browser_config.proxy_config.server, browser_config.proxy (deprecated field), crawler_config.proxy_config.server, and --proxy-server / --proxy-pac-url / --proxy-bypass-list / --host-resolver-rules flags in browser_config.extra_args. Mailpit is Vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via Link Check API

Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. Prior to version 1.29.2, the Link Check API (/api/v1/message/{ID}/link-check) is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). The server performs HTTP HEAD requests to every URL found in an email without validating target hosts or filtering private/internal IP addresses. The response returns status codes and status text per link, making this a non-blind SSRF. In the default configuration (no authentication on SMTP or API), this is fully exploitable remotely with zero user interaction. This is the same class of vulnerability that was fixed in the HTML Check API (CVE-2026-23845 / GHSA-6jxm-fv7w-rw5j) and the screenshot proxy (CVE-2026-21859 / GHSA-8v65-47jx-7mfr), but the Link Check code path was not included in either fix. text-generation-inference 3.3.7 SSRF via fetch_image in multimodal chat completions

text-generation-inference through 3.3.7 contains a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the OpenAI-compatible multimodal chat completions endpoint that allows unauthenticated network attackers to coerce the server into issuing arbitrary HTTP GET requests by supplying a crafted image_url value in chat message content. The fetch_image function in router/src/validation.rs performs no validation of private, loopback, link-local, or cloud metadata target addresses, and the reqwest HTTP client follows redirects by default, enabling attackers to bypass scheme checks via redirect chains to reach internal services and cloud instance-metadata endpoints for internal port scanning and credential theft.

External Control of File Name or Path and Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in Kibana Google Gemini Connector

External Control of File Name or Path (CWE-73) combined with Server-Side Request Forgery (CWE-918) can allow an attacker to cause arbitrary file disclosure through a specially crafted credentials JSON payload in the Google Gemini connector configuration. This requires an attacker to have authenticated access with privileges sufficient to create or modify connectors (Alerts & Connectors: All). The server processes a configuration without proper validation, allowing for arbitrary network requests and for arbitrary file reads.

Symfony: IpUtils::PRIVATE_SUBNETS Omits IPv6 Transition Forms (6to4, NAT64, Teredo, IPv4-compatible): SSRF Bypass in NoPrivateNetworkHttpClient

Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. From 5.4.0 to 5.4.53, 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13, NoPrivateNetworkHttpClient and IpUtils::PRIVATE_SUBNETS omitted IPv6 transition prefixes such as 6to4, NAT64, Teredo, and IPv4-compatible IPv6, allowing attacker-supplied URLs to represent private IPv4 targets in forms that IpUtils::isPrivateIp() did not block. This issue is fixed in versions 5.4.53, 6.4.41, 7.4.13, and 8.0.13.

Terrascan v1.18.3 and prior are vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the remote_url parameter in the remote directory scan endpoint (POST /v1/{iac}/{iacVersion}/{cloud}/remote/dir/scan) when running in server mode. An unauthenticated remote attacker can supply an attacker-controlled HTTP URL as remote_url with remote_type set to "http". The URL is passed directly to hashicorp/go-getter (v1.7.5) without validation. Go-getter's HttpGetter supports the X-Terraform-Get response header, allowing the attacker's server to redirect the download to a file:// URL, enabling local file read. Additionally, HttpGetter has Netrc set to true, causing it to read ~/.netrc and send stored credentials to attacker-controlled hostnames. This affects deployments running terrascan in server mode (terrascan server), which binds to 0.0.0.0 with no authentication. Note: Terrascan was archived in August 2023 and no patch will be released.

Mastodon: SSRF protection bypass on older Ruby versions

Mastodon is a free, open-source social network server based on ActivityPub. Prior to 4.5.10, 4.4.17, and 4.3.23, when using Ruby versions older than 3.4, PrivateAddressCheck.private_address? returns false for IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses (::ffff:a.b.c.d) corresponding to some private IPv4 addresses, depending on Ruby version, this can include loopback, RFC1918 private networks, and link-local space. An attacker who controls DNS for any domain can publish an AAAA record with such a mapped address; any outbound HTTP fetch Mastodon performs against that hostname then opens a real TCP connection to the underlying IPv4 address, including 127.0.0.1 and cloud-metadata endpoints such as 169.254.169.254. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.10, 4.4.17, and 4.3.23.

ZITADEL Vulnerable to Unauthenticated Full-Read SSRF via V2 Login

ZITADEL is an open-source identity infrastructure tool. Versions 4.7.0 and below are vulnerable to an unauthenticated, full-read SSRF vulnerability. The ZITADEL Login UI (V2) treats the x-zitadel-forward-host header as a trusted fallback for all deployments, including self-hosted instances. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to force the server to make HTTP requests to arbitrary domains, such as internal addresses, and read the responses, enabling data exfiltration and bypassing network-segmentation controls. This issue is fixed in version 4.7.1.

Octo-STS Vulnerable to Unauthenticated SSRF with HTTP Response Reflection in OIDC Flow

Octo-STS is a GitHub App that acts like a Security Token Service (STS) for the GitHub API. Octo-STS versions before v0.5.3 are vulnerable to unauthenticated SSRF by abusing fields in OpenID Connect tokens. Malicious tokens were shown to trigger internal network requests which could reflect error logs with sensitive information. Upgrade to v0.5.3 to resolve this issue. This version includes patch sets to sanitize input and redact logging.

Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) SSRF via console_release Directory

Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host prior to version 25.1.102 and Application prior to version 25.1.1413 (VA/SaaS deployments) contain a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability. The `console_release` directory is reachable from the internet without any authentication. Inside that directory are dozens of PHP scripts that build URLs from user‑controlled values and then invoke either 'curl_exec()` or `file_get_contents()` without proper validation. Although many files attempt to mitigate SSRF by calling `filter_var', the checks are incomplete. Because the endpoint is unauthenticated, any remote attacker can supply a hostname and cause the server to issue requests to internal resources. This enables internal network reconnaissance, potential pivoting, or data exfiltration. This vulnerability has been confirmed to be remediated, but it is unclear as to when the patch was introduced.
