baserCMS is a website development framework. Prior to version 5.2.3, baserCMS contains an OS command injection vulnerability in the core update functionality. An authenticated administrator can execute arbitrary OS commands on the server due to improper handling of user-controlled input that is directly passed to exec() without sufficient validation or escaping. This issue has been patched in version 5.2.3.
Command injection vulnerability in the operating system. Improper neutralisation of special elements in Active Directory integration allows the intended command to be modified when sent to a downstream component in WBSAirback 21.02.04.
OS Command Injection vulnerability in EndRun Technologies Sonoma D12 Network Time Server (GPS) F/W 6010-0071-000 Ver 4.00 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code, cause a denial of service, gain escalated privileges, gain sensitive information, and possibly other unspecified impacts.
Valtimo is a platform for Business Process Automation. In versions before 12.16.0.RELEASE, and from 13.0.0.RELEASE to before 13.1.2.RELEASE, any admin that can create or modify and execute process-definitions could gain access to sensitive data or resources. This includes but is not limited to: running executables on the application host, inspecting and extracting data from the host environment or application properties, spring beans (application context, database pooling). The following conditions have to be met in order to perform this attack: the user must be logged in, have the admin role, and must have some knowledge about running scripts via a the Camunda/Operator engine. Version 12.16.0 and 13.1.2 have been patched. It is strongly advised to upgrade. If no scripting is needed in any of the processes, it could be possible to disable it altogether via the ProcessEngineConfiguration. However, this workaround could lead to unexpected side-effects.
A command execution vulnerability exists in the access control functionality of Netgear Orbi Router RBR750 4.6.8.5. A specially-crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary command execution. An attacker can make an authenticated HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability.
OS Command Injection in iSTAR Ultra products web application allows an authenticated attacker to gain even more privileged access ('root' user) to the device firmware.
A command injection flaw was found in foreman. This flaw allows an authenticated user with admin privileges on the foreman instance to transpile commands through CoreOS and Fedora CoreOS configurations in templates, possibly resulting in arbitrary command execution on the underlying operating system.
OPNsense before 25.1.8 contains an authenticated command injection vulnerability in its Bridge Interface Edit endpoint (interfaces_bridge_edit.php). The span POST parameter is concatenated into a system-level command without proper sanitization or escaping, allowing an administrator to inject arbitrary shell operators and payloads. Successful exploitation results in remote code execution with the privileges of the web service (typically root), potentially leading to full system compromise or lateral movement. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input validation and improper handling of user-supplied data in backend command invocations.
Atheos is a self-hosted browser-based cloud integrated development environment. Prior to version 6.0.4, improper use of `escapeshellcmd()` in `/components/codegit/traits/execute.php` allows argument injection, leading to arbitrary command execution. Atheos administrators and users of vulnerable versions are at risk of data breaches or server compromise. Version 6.0.4 introduces a `Common::safe_execute` function that sanitizes all arguments using `escapeshellarg()` prior to execution and migrated all components potentially vulnerable to similar exploits to use this new templated execution system.
An authenticated user can perform command injection via unsanitized input to the NetFax Server’s ping functionality via the /test.php endpoint.
An authenticated OS command injection vulnerability exists in Netgear routers (tested on the DGN2200B model) firmware versions 1.0.0.36 and prior via the pppoe.cgi endpoint. A remote attacker with valid credentials can execute arbitrary commands via crafted input to the pppoe_username parameter. This flaw allows full compromise of the device and may persist across reboots unless configuration is restored.
A remote attacker with administrator account can gain full control of the device due to improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') while uploading a config file via webUI.
An issue was discovered in CommScope Ruckus Unleashed prior to 200.15.6.212.14 and 200.17.7.0.139, and in Ruckus ZoneDirector prior to 10.5.1.0.279, where a hidden debug script `.ap_debug.sh` invoked from the restricted CLI does not properly sanitize its input, allowing an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands as root on the controller or specified target.
Dell CloudLink, versions 8.0 through 8.1.2, contain vulnerability on restricted shell. A Privileged user with known password can break into command shell of CloudLink server and gain access of shell and escalate privilege, gain unauthorized access of system. If ssh is enabled with web credentials of server, attack is possible through network with known privileged user/password.

Nagios XI versions prior to 2024R1.4.2 contain a remote code execution vulnerability in the Business Process Intelligence (BPI) component. Insufficient validation and sanitization of administrator-controlled BPI configuration parameters (notably bpi_logfile and bpi_configfile) allow an authenticated administrative user to cause the product to create or overwrite files within the webroot and subsequently edit them via the BPI configuration editor. When such files carry executable extensions and are served by the web application, arbitrary code may be executed in the context of the web application user. Successful exploitation results in arbitrary command execution with the privileges of the Nagios XI web application user and can be leveraged to gain further control of the underlying host operating system.
An authenticated command injection vulnerability exists in the Beward N100 IP Camera firmware version M2.1.6.04C014 via the ServerName and TimeZone parameters in the servetest CGI page. An attacker with access to the web interface can inject arbitrary system commands into these parameters, which are unsafely embedded into backend system calls without proper input sanitization. Successful exploitation results in remote code execution with root privileges. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2024-12-02 UTC.

An OS command injection vulnerability exists in the OptiLink ONT1GEW GPON router firmware version V2.1.11_X101 Build 1127.190306 and earlier. The router’s web management interface fails to properly sanitize user input in the target_addr parameter of the formTracert and formPing administrative endpoints. An authenticated attacker can inject arbitrary operating system commands, which are executed with root privileges, leading to remote code execution. Successful exploitation enables full compromise of the device. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-02-04 UTC.
