Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in Flowplayer Flash before 3.2.17, as used in Moodle through 2.3.11, 2.4.x before 2.4.9, 2.5.x before 2.5.5, and 2.6.x before 2.6.2, allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML by (1) providing a crafted playerId or (2) referencing an external domain, a related issue to CVE-2013-7342.
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in flowplayer.swf in the Flash fallback feature in Flowplayer HTML5 5.4.3 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML by using URL encoding within the callback parameter name. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2013-7342.
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in flowplayer.swf in the Flash fallback feature in Flowplayer HTML5 5.4.1 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the callback parameter, a related issue to CVE-2013-7341.
Froxlor is open source server administration software. Prior to 2.1.9, a Stored Blind Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was identified in the Failed Login Attempts Logging Feature of the Froxlor Application. An unauthenticated User can inject malicious scripts in the loginname parameter on the Login attempt, which will then be executed when viewed by the Administrator in the System Logs. By exploiting this vulnerability, the attacker can perform various malicious actions such as forcing the Administrator to execute actions without their knowledge or consent. For instance, the attacker can force the Administrator to add a new administrator controlled by the attacker, thereby giving the attacker full control over the application. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.9.
Reflected XSS in Ivanti Endpoint Manager before version 2024 SU1 or before version 2022 SU7 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to obtain admin privileges. User interaction is required.
jupyterlab is an extensible environment for interactive and reproducible computing, based on the Jupyter Notebook Architecture. Prior to 4.5.7, JupyterLab's HTML sanitizer allowlists data-commandlinker-command and data-commandlinker-args on button elements, while CommandLinker listens for all click events on document.body and executes the named command without checking whether the element came from trusted JupyterLab UI. A notebook with a pre-saved HTML cell output containing a deceptive button can trigger arbitrary JupyterLab commands - including arbitrary code execution - on a single user click, without any code being submitted for execution by the user. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.5.7.
A critical stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Analytics component of lunary-ai/lunary versions up to 1.9.23, where the NEXT_PUBLIC_CUSTOM_SCRIPT environment variable is directly injected into the DOM using dangerouslySetInnerHTML without any sanitization or validation. This allows arbitrary JavaScript execution in all users' browsers if an attacker can control the environment variable during deployment or through server compromise. The vulnerability can lead to complete account takeover, data exfiltration, malware distribution, and persistent attacks affecting all users until the environment variable is cleaned. The issue is fixed in version 1.9.25.
Apache OpenMeetings 1.0.0 is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks, XSS attacks, click-jacking, and MIME based attacks.
`org.xwiki.commons:xwiki-commons-xml` is an XML library used by the open-source wiki platform XWiki. The HTML sanitizer, introduced in version 14.6-rc-1, allows the injection of arbitrary HTML code and thus cross-site scripting via invalid data attributes. This vulnerability does not affect restricted cleaning in HTMLCleaner as there attributes are cleaned and thus characters like `/` and `>` are removed in all attribute names. This problem has been patched in XWiki 14.10.4 and 15.0 RC1 by making sure that data attributes only contain allowed characters. There are no known workarounds apart from upgrading to a version including the fix.
LedgerSMB does not sufficiently HTML-encode error messages sent to the browser. By sending a specially crafted URL to an authenticated user, this flaw can be abused for remote code execution and information disclosure.
Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability leading to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) discovered in tarteaucitron.js – Cookies legislation & GDPR WordPress plugin (versions <= 1.5.4), vulnerable parameters "tarteaucitronEmail" and "tarteaucitronPass".
A flaw was found in c-ares library, where a missing input validation check of host names returned by DNS (Domain Name Servers) can lead to output of wrong hostnames which might potentially lead to Domain Hijacking. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
Valine v1.4.18 was discovered to contain a remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability which allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted POST request.
LedgerSMB does not check the origin of HTML fragments merged into the browser's DOM. By sending a specially crafted URL to an authenticated user, this flaw can be abused for remote code execution and information disclosure.
The WP Fluent Forms plugin < 3.6.67 for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery leading to stored Cross-Site Scripting and limited Privilege Escalation due to a missing nonce check in the access control function for administrative AJAX actions
A flaw was found in noobaa-core in versions before 5.7.0. This flaw results in the name of an arbitrarily URL being copied into an HTML document as plain text between tags, including potentially a payload script. The input was echoed unmodified in the application response, resulting in arbitrary JavaScript being injected into an application's response. The highest threat to the system is for confidentiality, availability, and integrity.
This vulnerability allows attackers to impersonate users and perform arbitrary actions leading to a Remote Code Execution (RCE) from the Alerts Settings page.
MockServer is open source software which enables easy mocking of any system you integrate with via HTTP or HTTPS. An attacker that can trick a victim into visiting a malicious site while running MockServer locally, will be able to run arbitrary code on the MockServer machine. With an overly broad default CORS configuration MockServer allows any site to send cross-site requests. Additionally, MockServer allows you to create dynamic expectations using Javascript or Velocity templates. Both engines may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on-behalf of MockServer. By combining these two issues (Overly broad CORS configuration + Script injection), an attacker could serve a malicious page so that if a developer running MockServer visits it, they will get compromised. For more details including a PoC see the referenced GHSL-2021-059.
Erxes, an experience operating system (XOS) with a set of plugins, is vulnerable to cross-site scripting in versions 0.22.3 and prior. This results in client-side code execution. The victim must follow a malicious link or be redirected there from malicious web site. There are no known patches.

A successful attack using this vulnerability requires human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Affected releases are TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO Administrator - Enterprise Edition: versions 5.10.2 and below, TIBCO Administrator - Enterprise Edition: versions 5.11.0 and 5.11.1, TIBCO Administrator - Enterprise Edition Distribution for TIBCO Silver Fabric: versions 5.10.2 and below, TIBCO Administrator - Enterprise Edition Distribution for TIBCO Silver Fabric: versions 5.11.0 and 5.11.1, TIBCO Administrator - Enterprise Edition for z/Linux: versions 5.10.2 and below, TIBCO Administrator - Enterprise Edition for z/Linux: versions 5.11.0 and 5.11.1, TIBCO Runtime Agent: versions 5.10.2 and below, TIBCO Runtime Agent: versions 5.11.0 and 5.11.1, TIBCO Runtime Agent for z/Linux: versions 5.10.2 and below, and TIBCO Runtime Agent for z/Linux: versions 5.11.0 and 5.11.1.
n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1, an unauthenticated attacker could register a malicious MCP OAuth client with a crafted client_name. If a victim user authorized the OAuth consent dialog and a second user subsequently revoked that access, a toast notification would render the injected script. Clicking the link would execute arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's authenticated n8n browser session, enabling credential and session token theft, workflow manipulation, or privilege escalation. This issue has been patched in versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1.
Notesnook is a note-taking app focused on user privacy & ease of use. Prior to Notesnook Web/Desktop version 3.3.15 and prior to Notesnook iOS/Android version 3.3.20, a stored XSS vulnerability in the note export flow can be escalated to remote code execution in the desktop app. The root cause is that exported note fields such as title, headline, and content are inserted into the generated HTML template without HTML escaping. When the note is later exported to PDF, Notesnook renders that HTML into a same-origin, unsandboxed iframe using iframe.srcdoc = .... Injected script executes in the Notesnook origin. In the desktop app, this becomes RCE because Electron is configured with nodeIntegration: true and contextIsolation: false. This issue has been patched in Notesnook Web/Desktop version 3.3.15 and Notesnook iOS/Android version 3.3.20.
Stored XSS and SQL injection vulnerability in MaxBoard could lead to occur Remote Code Execution, which could lead to information exposure and privilege escalation.
An issue was discovered in Faronics Insight 10.0.19045 on Windows. It is possible for an attacker to create a proof-of-concept script that functions similarly to a Student Console, providing unauthenticated attackers with the ability to exploit XSS vulnerabilities within the Teacher Console application and achieve remote code execution as NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM on all connected Student Consoles and the Teacher Console in a Zero Click manner.
The check_privacy_settings AJAX action of the WordPress GDPR WordPress plugin before 1.9.26, available to both unauthenticated and authenticated users, responds with JSON data without an "application/json" content-type. Since an HTML payload isn't properly escaped, it may be interpreted by a web browser led to this endpoint. Javascript code may be executed on a victim's browser. If the victim is an administrator with a valid session cookie, full control of the WordPress instance may be taken (AJAX calls and iframe manipulation are possible because the vulnerable endpoint is on the same domain as the admin panel - there is no same-origin restriction).
The St-Daily-Tip WordPress plugin through 4.7 does not have any CSRF check in place when saving its 'Default Text to Display if no tips' setting, and was also lacking sanitisation as well as escaping before outputting it the page. This could allow attacker to make logged in administrators set a malicious payload in it, leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting issue
The Contact Form 7 Captcha WordPress plugin before 0.0.9 does not have any CSRF check in place when saving its settings, allowing attacker to make a logged in user with the manage_options change them. Furthermore, the settings are not escaped when output in attributes, leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting issue.
The Blue Admin WordPress plugin through 21.06.01 does not sanitise or escape its "Logo Title" setting before outputting in a page, leading to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting issue. Furthermore, the plugin does not have CSRF check in place when saving its settings, allowing the issue to be exploited via a CSRF attack.
The Jetpack Scan team identified a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the patreon_save_attachment_patreon_level AJAX action of the Patreon WordPress plugin before 1.7.2. This AJAX hook is used to update the pledge level required by Patreon subscribers to access a given attachment. This action is accessible for user accounts with the ‘manage_options’ privilege (i.e.., only administrators). Unfortunately, one of the parameters used in this AJAX endpoint is not sanitized before being printed back to the user, so the risk it represents is the same as the previous XSS vulnerability.
On BIG-IP Advanced WAF and BIG-IP ASM versions 16.0.x before 16.0.1.1, 15.1.x before 15.1.2, 14.1.x before 14.1.3.1, 13.1.x before 13.1.3.6, and 12.1.x before 12.1.5.3, DOM-based XSS on DoS Profile properties page. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Software Development (EoSD) are not evaluated.
On all versions of 16.1.x, 16.0.x, 15.1.x, 14.1.x, 13.1.x, 12.1.x, and 11.6.x, a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in an undisclosed page of the BIG-IP Configuration utility that allows an attacker to execute JavaScript in the context of the currently logged-in user. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
Reflected Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability in Micro Focus Verastream Host Integrator, affecting version version 7.8 Update 1 and earlier versions. The vulnerability could allow disclosure of confidential data.
Cross Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in kevinpapst kimai2 1.30.0 in /src/Twig/Runtime/MarkdownExtension.php, allows attackers to gain escalated privileges.
django-helpdesk is vulnerable to Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')
A vulnerability has been identified in SICAM WEB firmware for SICAM A8000 RTUs (All versions < V05.30). The login screen does not sufficiently sanitize input, which enables an attacker to generate specially crafted log messages. If an unsuspecting victim views the log messages via the web browser, these log messages might be interpreted and executed as code by the web application. This Cross-Site-Scripting (XSS) vulnerability might compromize the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the web application.
The MFT Browser file transfer client and MFT Browser admin client components of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO Managed File Transfer Command Center and TIBCO Managed File Transfer Internet Server contain a vulnerability that theoretically allows an attacker to craft an URL that will execute arbitrary commands on the affected system. If the attacker convinces an authenticated user with a currently active session to enter or click on the URL the commands will be executed on the affected system. Affected releases are TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO Managed File Transfer Command Center: versions 8.2.1 and below and TIBCO Managed File Transfer Internet Server: versions 8.2.1 and below.
Overwolf Client 0.169.0.22 allows XSS, with resultant Remote Code Execution, via an overwolfstore:// URL.
The report generator component of TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO JasperReports Library, TIBCO JasperReports Library for ActiveMatrix BPM, TIBCO JasperReports Server, TIBCO JasperReports Server for AWS Marketplace, and TIBCO JasperReports Server for ActiveMatrix BPM contains a vulnerability that theoretically allows an attacker to exploit HTML injection to gain full control of a web interface containing the output of the report generator component with the privileges of any user that views the affected report(s). The attacker can theoretically exploit this vulnerability when other users view a maliciously generated report, where those reports use Fusion Charts and a data source with contents controlled by the attacker. Affected releases are TIBCO Software Inc.'s TIBCO JasperReports Library: versions 7.1.1 and below, versions 7.2.0 and 7.2.1, version 7.3.0, version 7.5.0, TIBCO JasperReports Library for ActiveMatrix BPM: versions 7.1.1 and below, TIBCO JasperReports Server: versions 7.1.1 and below, version 7.2.0, version 7.5.0, TIBCO JasperReports Server for AWS Marketplace: versions 7.5.0 and below, and TIBCO JasperReports Server for ActiveMatrix BPM: versions 7.1.1 and below.
The Jupyter notebook is a web-based notebook environment for interactive computing. In affected versions untrusted notebook can execute code on load. Jupyter Notebook uses a deprecated version of Google Caja to sanitize user inputs. A public Caja bypass can be used to trigger an XSS when a victim opens a malicious ipynb document in Jupyter Notebook. The XSS allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the victim computer using Jupyter APIs.
An issue was discovered in chat.php in LiveZilla Live Chat 8.0.1.3 (Helpdesk). A blind JavaScript injection lies in the name parameter. Triggering this can fetch the username and passwords of the helpdesk employees in the URI. This leads to a privilege escalation, from unauthenticated to user-level access, leading to full account takeover. The attack fetches multiple credentials because they are stored in the database (stored XSS). This affects the mobile/chat URI via the lgn and psswrd parameters.
Magento versions 2.3.5-p1 and earlier, and 2.3.5-p1 and earlier have a dom-based cross-site scripting vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
The installations for ABB System 800xA Information Manager versions 5.1, 6.0 to 6.0.3.2 and 6.1 wrongly contain an auxiliary component. An attacker is able to use this for an XSS-like attack to an authenticated local user, which might lead to execution of arbitrary code.
