Apache Axis2 allows remote attackers to forge messages and bypass authentication via a SAML assertion that lacks a Signature element, aka a "Signature exclusion attack," a different vulnerability than CVE-2012-4418.
The filesystem authentication (condor_io/condor_auth_fs.cpp) in Condor 7.6.x before 7.6.10 and 7.8.x before 7.8.4 uses authentication directories even when they have weak permissions, which allows remote attackers to impersonate users by renaming a user's authentication directory.
FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). In versions prior to 2.7.0, NT LAN Manager (NTLM) authentication does not properly abort when someone provides and empty password value. This issue affects FreeRDP based RDP Server implementations. RDP clients are not affected. The vulnerability is patched in FreeRDP 2.7.0. There are currently no known workarounds.
The (1) reports API and (2) administration feature in the comments API in the Ushahidi Platform before 2.5 do not require authentication, which allows remote attackers to generate reports and organize comments via API functions.
Atheme IRC Services before 7.2.12, when used in conjunction with InspIRCd, allows authentication bypass by ending an IRC handshake at a certain point during a challenge-response login sequence.

An exploitable authentication bypass vulnerability exists in the ESPON Web Control functionality of Epson EB-1470Ui MAIN: 98009273ESWWV107 MAIN2: 8X7325WWV303. A specially crafted series of HTTP requests can cause authentication bypass resulting in information disclosure. An attacker can send an HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability.
SonicWall SSO-agent default configuration uses NetAPI to probe the associated IP's in the network, this client probing method allows a potential attacker to capture the password hash of the privileged user and potentially forces the SSO Agent to authenticate allowing an attacker to bypass firewall access controls.
CryptPad is a collaboration suite. Prior to version 2025.3.0, enforcement of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in CryptPad can be trivially bypassed, due to weak implementation of access controls. An attacker that compromises a user's credentials can gain access to the victim's account, even if the victim has 2FA set up. This is due to 2FA not being enforced if the path parameter is not 44 characters long, which can be bypassed by simply URL encoding a single character in the path. This issue has been patched in version 2025.3.0.
The AMQP 0-8, 0-9, 0-91, and 0-10 connection handling in Apache Qpid Java before 6.0.3 might allow remote attackers to bypass authentication and consequently perform actions via vectors related to connection state logging.
Authentication is globally bypassed in github.com/nanobox-io/golang-nanoauth between v0.0.0-20160722212129-ac0cc4484ad4 and v0.0.0-20200131131040-063a3fb69896 if ListenAndServe is called with an empty token.
Auth0-PHP provides the PHP SDK for Auth0 Authentication and Management APIs. Starting in version 8.0.0-BETA1 and prior to version 8.14.0, session cookies of applications using the Auth0-PHP SDK configured with CookieStore have authentication tags that can be brute forced, which may result in unauthorized access. Certain pre-conditions are required to be vulnerable to this issue: Applications using the Auth0-PHP SDK, or the Auth0/symfony, Auth0/laravel-auth0, and Auth0/wordpress SDKs that rely on the Auth0-PHP SDK; and session storage configured with CookieStore. Upgrade Auth0/Auth0-PHP to v8.14.0 to receive a patch. As an additional precautionary measure, rotating cookie encryption keys is recommended. Note that once updated, any previous session cookies will be rejected.
An issue in OXHOO TP50 OXH1.50 allows unauthenticated attackers to access the administrative panel via browsing to the URL http://device_ip/index1.html.

The authentication protocol in Oracle Database Server 10.2.0.3, 10.2.0.4, 10.2.0.5, 11.1.0.7, 11.2.0.2, and 11.2.0.3 allows remote attackers to obtain the session key and salt for arbitrary users, which leaks information about the cryptographic hash and makes it easier to conduct brute force password guessing attacks, aka "stealth password cracking vulnerability."
An issue was discovered in Hyland OnBase 16.0.2.83 and below, 17.0.2.109 and below, 18.0.0.37 and below, 19.8.16.1000 and below and 20.3.10.1000 and below. Client-side authentication is used for critical functions such as adding users or retrieving sensitive information.
In Alerta before version 8.1.0, users may be able to bypass LDAP authentication if they provide an empty password when Alerta server is configure to use LDAP as the authorization provider. Only deployments where LDAP servers are configured to allow unauthenticated authentication mechanism for anonymous authorization are affected. A fix has been implemented in version 8.1.0 that returns HTTP 401 Unauthorized response for any authentication attempts where the password field is empty. As a workaround LDAP administrators can disallow unauthenticated bind requests by clients.
An issue was discovered on the Forvia Hella HELLA Driving Recorder DR 820. Bypassing of Device Pairing can occur. The pairing mechanism relies solely on the connecting device's MAC address. By obtaining the MAC address through network scanning and spoofing it, an attacker can bypass the authentication process and gain full access to the dashcam's features without proper authorization.
EmpowerID before 7.205.0.1 allows an attacker to bypass an MFA (multi factor authentication) requirement if the first factor (username and password) is known, because the first factor is sufficient to change an account's email address, and the product would then send MFA codes to the new email address (which may be attacker-controlled). NOTE: this is different from CVE-2023-4177, which claims to be about "some unknown processing of the component Multi-Factor Authentication Code Handler" and thus cannot be correlated with other vulnerability information.
An improper authentication vulnerability in CA Privileged Access Manager 3.x Web-UI jk-manager and jk-status allows a remote attacker to gain sensitive information or alter configuration.
Forcepoint Next Generation Firewall (Forcepoint NGFW) 6.4.x before 6.4.7, 6.5.x before 6.5.4, and 6.6.x before 6.6.2 has a serious authentication vulnerability that potentially allows unauthorized users to bypass password authentication and access services protected by the NGFW Engine. The vulnerability affects the following NGFW features when the LDAP authentication method is used as the backend authentication: IPsec VPN, SSL VPN or Browser-based user authentication. The vulnerability does not apply when any other backend authentication is used. The RADIUS authentication method is not vulnerable, for example.
Open Access Management (OpenAM) is an access management solution that includes Authentication, SSO, Authorization, Federation, Entitlements and Web Services Security. OpenAM up to version 14.7.2 does not properly validate the signature of SAML responses received as part of the SAMLv1.x Single Sign-On process. Attackers can use this fact to impersonate any OpenAM user, including the administrator, by sending a specially crafted SAML response to the SAMLPOSTProfileServlet servlet. This problem has been patched in OpenAM 14.7.3-SNAPSHOT and later. User unable to upgrade should comment servlet `SAMLPOSTProfileServlet` from their pom file. See the linked GHSA for details.
The web server in ABB Telephone Gateway TG/S 3.2 and Busch-Jaeger 6186/11 Telefon-Gateway allows access to different endpoints of the application without authenticating by accessing a specific uniform resource locator (URL) , violating the access-control (ACL) rules. This issue allows obtaining sensitive information that may aid in further attacks and privilege escalation.
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Enterprise NFV Infrastructure Software (NFVIS) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass authentication and get limited access to the web-based management interface. The vulnerability is due to an incorrect implementation of authentication in the web-based management interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted authentication request to the web-based management interface on an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to view limited configuration details and potentially upload a virtual machine image.
SPID.AspNetCore.Authentication is an AspNetCore Remote Authenticator for SPID. Authentication using Spid and CIE is based on the SAML2 standard which provides two entities: Identity Provider (IDP): the system that authenticates users and provides identity information (SAML affirmation) to the Service Provider, in essence, is responsible for the management of the credentials and identity of users; Service Provider (SP): the system that provides a service to the user and relies on the Identity Provider to authenticate the user, receives SAML assertions from the IdP to grant access to resources. The validation logic of the signature is central as it ensures that you cannot create a SAML response with arbitrary assertions and then impersonate other users. There is no guarantee that the first signature refers to the root object, it follows that if an attacker injects an item signed as the first element, all other signatures will not be verified. The only requirement is to have an XML element legitimately signed by the IdP, a condition that is easily met using the IdP's public metadata. An attacker could create an arbitrary SAML response that would be accepted by SPs using vulnerable SDKs, allowing him to impersonate any Spid and/or CIE user. This vulnerability has been addressed in version 3.4.0 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
Amphora Images in OpenStack Octavia >=0.10.0 <2.1.2, >=3.0.0 <3.2.0, >=4.0.0 <4.1.0 allows anyone with access to the management network to bypass client-certificate based authentication and retrieve information or issue configuration commands via simple HTTP requests to the Agent on port https/9443, because the cmd/agent.py gunicorn cert_reqs option is True but is supposed to be ssl.CERT_REQUIRED.
A vulnerability has been identified in SPPA-T3000 MS3000 Migration Server (All versions). Sentry is a developer-first error tracking and performance monitoring tool. A critical vulnerability was discovered in the SAML SSO implementation of Sentry. It was reported to us via our private bug bounty program. The vulnerability allows an attacker to take over any user account by using a malicious SAML Identity Provider and another organization on the same Sentry instance. The victim email address must be known in order to exploit this vulnerability. The Sentry SaaS fix was deployed on Jan 14, 2025. For self hosted users; if only a single organization is allowed `(SENTRY_SINGLE_ORGANIZATION = True)`, then no action is needed. Otherwise, users should upgrade to version 25.1.0 or higher. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
A vulnerability in the Quality of Voice Reporting (QOVR) service of Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance (PCA) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to access the system as a valid user. The vulnerability is due to insufficient authentication controls. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting to the QOVR service with a valid username. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to perform actions with the privileges of the user that is used for access. This vulnerability affects Cisco PCA Software Releases prior to 12.1 SP2.
Cryptographic issue in GPS HLOS Driver while downloading Qualcomm GNSS assistance data.
Cryptographic issue occurs due to use of insecure connection method while downloading.
A vulnerability was found in Moodle versions 3.7 before 3.7.3, 3.6 before 3.6.7, 3.5 before 3.5.9 and earlier. OAuth 2 providers who do not verify users' email address changes require additional verification during sign-up to reduce the risk of account compromise.
All Samba versions 4.x.x before 4.9.17, 4.10.x before 4.10.11 and 4.11.x before 4.11.3 have an issue, where the S4U (MS-SFU) Kerberos delegation model includes a feature allowing for a subset of clients to be opted out of constrained delegation in any way, either S4U2Self or regular Kerberos authentication, by forcing all tickets for these clients to be non-forwardable. In AD this is implemented by a user attribute delegation_not_allowed (aka not-delegated), which translates to disallow-forwardable. However the Samba AD DC does not do that for S4U2Self and does set the forwardable flag even if the impersonated client has the not-delegated flag set.
Due to the lack of adequately implemented access-control rules, all versions Kingspan TMS300 CS are vulnerable to an attacker viewing and modifying the application settings without authenticating by accessing a specific uniform resource locator (URL) on the webserver.

`effectindex/tripreporter` is a community-powered, universal platform for submitting and analyzing trip reports. Prior to commit bd80ba833b9023d39ca22e29874296c8729dd53b, any user with an account on an instance of `effectindex/tripreporter`, e.g. `subjective.report`, may be affected by an improper password verification vulnerability. The vulnerability allows any user with a password matching the password requirements to log in as any user. This allows access to accounts / data loss of the user. This issue is patched in commit bd80ba833b9023d39ca22e29874296c8729dd53b. No action necessary for users of `subjective.report`, and anyone running their own instance should update to this commit or newer as soon as possible. As a workaround, someone running their own instance may apply the patch manually.
fileadmin.php in Libra File Manager (aka Libra PHP File Manager) 1.18 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass authentication, and read arbitrary files, modify arbitrary files, and list arbitrary directories, by inserting certain user and isadmin parameters in the query string.
A vulnerability has been identified in Mendix SAML (Mendix 7 compatible) (All versions >= V1.16.4 < V1.17.3), Mendix SAML (Mendix 8 compatible) (All versions >= V2.2.0 < V2.3.0), Mendix SAML (Mendix 9 latest compatible, New Track) (All versions >= V3.1.9 < V3.3.1), Mendix SAML (Mendix 9 latest compatible, Upgrade Track) (All versions >= V3.1.8 < V3.3.0), Mendix SAML (Mendix 9.6 compatible, New Track) (All versions >= V3.1.9 < V3.2.7), Mendix SAML (Mendix 9.6 compatible, Upgrade Track) (All versions >= V3.1.8 < V3.2.6). The affected versions of the module insufficiently verify the SAML assertions. This could allow unauthenticated remote attackers to bypass authentication and get access to the application. For compatibility reasons, fix versions still contain this issue, but only when the recommended, default configuration option `'Use Encryption'` is disabled.
An Incorrect Access Control vulnerability has been identified in Citrix XenMobile Server 10.8.0 before Rolling Patch 6 and 10.9.0 before Rolling Patch 3. An attacker can impersonate and take actions on behalf of any Mobile Application Management (MAM) enrolled device.
