Browsershot version 3.57.2 allows an external attacker to remotely obtain arbitrary local files. This is possible because the application does not validate the URL protocol passed to the Browsershot::url method.
Browsershot version 3.57.2 allows an external attacker to remotely obtain arbitrary local files. This is possible because the application does not validate that the HTML content passed to the Browsershot::html method does not contain URL's that use the file:// protocol.
LedgerSMB does not sufficiently HTML-encode error messages sent to the browser. By sending a specially crafted URL to an authenticated user, this flaw can be abused for remote code execution and information disclosure.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 (on-premises) Cross-site Scripting Vulnerability

A XSS condition exists within GitLab in versions 15.11 before 16.10.6, 16.11 before 16.11.3, and 17.0 before 17.0.1. By leveraging this condition, an attacker can craft a malicious page to exfiltrate sensitive user information.

An reflected XSS vulnerability exists in the handling of invalid paths in the Flask server in Ankitects Anki 24.04. A specially crafted flashcard can lead to JavaScript code execution and result in an arbitrary file read. An attacker can share a malicious flashcard to trigger this vulnerability.
Wiki.js is a wiki app built on Node.js. Wiki.js 2.5.263 and earlier is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting through non-image file uploads for file types that can be viewed directly inline in the browser. By creating a malicious file which can execute inline JS when viewed in the browser (e.g. XML files), a malicious Wiki.js user may stage a stored cross-site scripting attack. This allows the attacker to execute malicious JavaScript when the file is viewed directly by other users. The file must be opened directly by the user and will not trigger directly in a normal Wiki.js page. A patch in version 2.5.264 fixes this vulnerability by adding an optional (enabled by default) force download flag to all non-image file types, preventing the file from being viewed inline in the browser. As a workaround, disable file upload for all non-trusted users. --- Thanks to @Haxatron for reporting this vulnerability. This High severity Reflected XSS and CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) vulnerability was introduced in versions 7.19.0, 7.20.0, 8.0.0, 8.1.0, 8.2.0, 8.3.0, 8.4.0, 8.5.0, 8.6.0, 8.7.1, 8.8.0, and 8.9.0 of Confluence Data Center and Server. This Reflected XSS and CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) vulnerability, with a CVSS Score of 7.1, allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary HTML or JavaScript code on a victims browser and force a end user to execute unwanted actions on a web application in which they're currently authenticated which has high impact to confidentiality, low impact to integrity, no impact to availability, and requires user interaction. Atlassian recommends that Confluence Data Center and Server customers upgrade to latest version, if you are unable to do so, upgrade your instance to one of the specified supported fixed versions: * Confluence Data Center and Server 7.19: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 7.19.26 * Confluence Data Center and Server 8.5: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 8.5.14 * Confluence Data Center and Server 9.0: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 9.0.1 See the release notes (https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-release-notes-327.html). Synapse is a Matrix reference homeserver written in python (pypi package matrix-synapse). Matrix is an ecosystem for open federated Instant Messaging and VoIP. In Synapse before version 1.27.0, the password reset endpoint served via Synapse was vulnerable to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. The impact depends on the configuration of the domain that Synapse is deployed on, but may allow access to cookies and other browser data, CSRF vulnerabilities, and access to other resources served on the same domain or parent domains. This is fixed in version 1.27.0.
