Pterodactyl is a free, open-source game server management panel. Versions 1.11.11 and below allow TOTP to be used multiple times during its validity window. Users with 2FA enabled are prompted to enter a token during sign-in, and afterward it is not sufficiently marked as used in the system. This allows an attacker who intercepts that token to use it in addition to a known username/password during the 60-second token validity window. The attacker must have intercepted a valid 2FA token (for example, during a screen share). This issue is fixed in version 1.12.0.
capsule-proxy is a reverse proxy for Capsule Operator which provides multi-tenancy in Kubernetes. In versions prior to 0.2.1 an attacker with a proper authentication mechanism may use a malicious `Connection` header to start a privilege escalation attack towards the Kubernetes API Server. This vulnerability allows for an exploit of the `cluster-admin` Role bound to `capsule-proxy`. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
Privilege Escalation in OpenText Dimensions RM allows an authenticated user to escalate there privilege to the privilege of another user via HTTP Request

1Password SCIM Bridge before 1.6.2 mishandles validation of authenticated requests for log files, leading to disclosure of a TLS private key.
Incorrect Privilege Assignment vulnerability in Hitachi Storage Plug-in for VMware vCenter allows remote authenticated users to cause privilege escalation. This issue affects Hitachi Storage Plug-in for VMware vCenter: from 04.8.0 before 04.9.1.
PolarLearn is a free and open-source learning program. In 0-PRERELEASE-15 and earlier, POST /api/v1/auth/sign-in creates a valid session for banned accounts before verifying the supplied password. That session is then accepted across authenticated /api routes, enabling account data access and authenticated actions as the banned user.
Autolab, a course management service that enables auto-graded programming assignments, has misconfigured reset password permissions in version 3.0.0. For email-based accounts, users with insufficient privileges could reset and theoretically access privileged users' accounts by resetting their passwords. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.1. No known workarounds exist.
Broken Authentication in Atlassian Connect Spring Boot (ACSB) in version 1.1.0 before 2.1.3 and from version 2.1.4 before 2.1.5: Atlassian Connect Spring Boot is a Java Spring Boot package for building Atlassian Connect apps. Authentication between Atlassian products and the Atlassian Connect Spring Boot app occurs with a server-to-server JWT or a context JWT. Atlassian Connect Spring Boot versions 1.1.0 before 2.1.3 and versions 2.1.4 before 2.1.5 erroneously accept context JWTs in lifecycle endpoints (such as installation) where only server-to-server JWTs should be accepted, permitting an attacker to send authenticated re-installation events to an app.
The All in One SEO WordPress plugin before 4.1.5.3 is affected by a Privilege Escalation issue, which was discovered during an internal audit by the Jetpack Scan team, and may grant bad actors access to protected REST API endpoints they shouldn’t have access to. This could ultimately enable users with low-privileged accounts, like subscribers, to perform remote code execution on affected sites.
Bifrost is a heterogeneous middleware that synchronizes MySQL, MariaDB to Redis, MongoDB, ClickHouse, MySQL and other services for production environments. Versions prior to 1.8.8-release are subject to authentication bypass in the admin and monitor user groups by deleting the X-Requested-With: XMLHttpRequest field in the request header. This issue has been patched in 1.8.8-release. There are no known workarounds.
Agentflow BPM enterprise management system has improper authentication. A remote attacker with general user privilege can change the name of the user account to acquire arbitrary account privilege, and access, manipulate system or disrupt service.
ArmorX Android APP's multi-factor authentication (MFA) for the login function is not properly implemented. Remote attackers who obtain user credentials can bypass MFA, allowing them to successfully log into the APP.
Attackers can access the CGE account management function without privilege for permission elevation and execute arbitrary commands or files after obtaining user permissions.
An Authentication Bypass vulnerability in the SAML Authentication component of BlackBerry Workspaces Server (deployed with Appliance-X) version(s) 10.1, 9.1 and earlier could allow an attacker to potentially gain access to the application in the context of the targeted user’s account.
Adobe Commerce versions 2.4.7-p2, 2.4.6-p7, 2.4.5-p9, 2.4.4-p10 and earlier are affected by an Improper Authentication vulnerability that could result in a security feature bypass. A low-privileged attacker could leverage this vulnerability to gain unauthorized access without proper credentials. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction.
Improper authentication vulnerability in GROWI versions prior to v4.2.20 allows a remote attacker to view the unauthorized pages without access privileges via unspecified vectors.
RubyGems.org is the Ruby community gem host. A bug in password & email change confirmation code allowed an attacker to change their RubyGems.org account's email to an unowned email address. Having access to an account whose email has been changed could enable an attacker to save API keys for that account, and when a legitimate user attempts to create an account with their email (and has to reset password to gain access) and is granted access to other gems, the attacker would then be able to publish and yank versions of those gems. Commit number 90c9e6aac2d91518b479c51d48275c57de492d4d contains a patch for this issue.
Improper authentication vulnerability in multiple digital video recorders provided by TAKENAKA ENGINEERING CO., LTD. allows a remote authenticated attacker to execute an arbitrary OS command on the device or alter the device settings.

An issue was discovered in Mattermost Server before 4.7.0, 4.6.2, and 4.5.2. An attacker could authenticate to a different user's account via a crafted SAML response.
django-mfa3 is a library that implements multi factor authentication for the django web framework. It achieves this by modifying the regular login view. Django however has a second login view for its admin area. This second login view was not modified, so the multi factor authentication can be bypassed. Users are affected if they have activated both django-mfa3 (< 0.5.0) and django.contrib.admin and have not taken any other measures to prevent users from accessing the admin login view. The issue has been fixed in django-mfa3 0.5.0. It is possible to work around the issue by overwriting the admin login route, e.g. by adding the following URL definition *before* the admin routes: url('admin/login/', lambda request: redirect(settings.LOGIN_URL)
TYPO3 is an open source PHP based web content management system. In versions prior to 8.7.49, 9.5.38, 10.4.33, 11.5.20, and 12.1.1 TYPO3 is vulnerable to Improper Authentication. Restricting frontend login to specific users, organized in different storage folders (partitions), can be bypassed. A potential attacker might use this ambiguity in usernames to get access to a different account - however, credentials must be known to the adversary. This issue is patched in versions 8.7.49 ELTS, 9.5.38 ELTS, 10.4.33, 11.5.20, 12.1.1.
Improper authentication in Citrix StoreFront Server < 1912.0.1000 allows an attacker who is authenticated on the same Microsoft Active Directory domain as a Citrix StoreFront server to read arbitrary files from that server.
Improper access control in Citrix Workspace app for Windows 1912 CU1 and 2006.1 causes privilege escalation and code execution when the automatic updater service is running.
Frigate is a network video recorder (NVR) with realtime local object detection for IP cameras. Versions prior to 0.17.0-beta1 allow any authenticated user to change their own password without verifying the current password through the /users/{username}/password endpoint. Changing a password does not invalidate existing JWT tokens, and there is no validation of password strength. If an attacker obtains a valid session token (e.g., via accidentally exposed JWT, stolen cookie, XSS, compromised device, or sniffing over HTTP), they can change the victim’s password and gain permanent control of the account. Since password changes do not invalidate existing JWT tokens, session hijacks persist even after a password reset. Additionally, the lack of password strength validation exposes accounts to brute-force attacks. This issue has been resolved in version 0.17.0-beta1.
OAuthenticator is software that allows OAuth2 identity providers to be plugged in and used with JupyterHub. Prior to version 17.4.0, an authentication bypass vulnerability in oauthenticator allows an attacker with an unverified email address on an Auth0 tenant to login to JupyterHub. When email is used as the usrname_claim, this gives users control over their username and the possibility of account takeover. This issue has been patched in version 17.4.0.
In Django User Sessions (django-user-sessions) before 1.7.1, the views provided allow users to terminate specific sessions. The session key is used to identify sessions, and thus included in the rendered HTML. In itself this is not a problem. However if the website has an XSS vulnerability, the session key could be extracted by the attacker and a session takeover could happen.
IBM Event Streams 10.0.0 could allow an authenticated user to perform tasks to a schema due to improper authentication validation. IBM X-Force ID: 186233.
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Platinum Mobile 1.0.4.850. Affected is /MobileHandler.ashx which leads to broken access control. The attack requires authentication. An issue was discovered on V-SOL V1600D V2.03.69 and V2.03.57, V1600D4L V1.01.49, V1600D-MINI V1.01.48, V1600G1 V2.0.7 and V1.9.7, and V1600G2 V1.1.4 OLT devices. It is possible to elevate the privilege of a CLI user (to full administrative access) by using the password !j@l#y$z%x6x7q8c9z) for the enable command.
In the Macally WIFISD2-2A82 Media and Travel Router 2.000.010, the Guest user is able to reset its own password. This process has a vulnerability which can be used to take over the administrator account and results in shell access. As the admin user may read the /etc/shadow file, the password hashes of each user (including root) can be dumped. The root hash can be cracked easily which results in a complete system compromise.
Use of an undocumented user in BASETech GE-131 BT-1837836 firmware 20180921 allows remote attackers to view the video stream.
Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to 9.5.2-alpha.5 and 8.6.18, the Keycloak authentication adapter does not validate the azp (authorized party) claim of Keycloak access tokens against the configured client-id. A valid access token issued by the same Keycloak realm for a different client application can be used to authenticate as any user on the Parse Server that uses the Keycloak adapter. This enables cross-application account takeover in multi-client Keycloak realms. All Parse Server deployments that use the Keycloak authentication adapter with a Keycloak realm that has multiple client applications are affected. This vulnerability is fixed in 9.5.2-alpha.5 and 8.6.18.
Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to 9.5.2-alpha.9. and 8.6.22, the OAuth2 authentication adapter, when configured without the useridField option, only verifies that a token is active via the provider's token introspection endpoint, but does not verify that the token belongs to the user identified by authData.id. An attacker with any valid OAuth2 token from the same provider can authenticate as any other user. This affects any Parse Server deployment that uses the generic OAuth2 authentication adapter (configured with oauth2: true) without setting the useridField option. This vulnerability is fixed in 9.5.2-alpha.9. and 8.6.22.
Caddy is an extensible server platform that uses TLS by default. From version 2.10.0 to before version 2.11.2, forward_auth copy_headers does not strip client-supplied headers, allowing identity injection and privilege escalation. This issue has been patched in version 2.11.2.
OliveTin gives access to predefined shell commands from a web interface. Prior to version 3000.11.1, when JWT authentication is configured using either "authJwtPubKeyPath" (local RSA public key) or "authJwtHmacSecret" (HMAC secret), the configured audience value (authJwtAud) is not enforced during token parsing. As a result, validly signed JWT tokens with an incorrect aud claim are accepted for authentication. This allows authentication using tokens intended for a different audience/service. This issue has been patched in version 3000.11.1.
Statmatic is a Laravel and Git powered content management system (CMS). Starting in version 6.0.0 and prior to version 6.4.0, Authenticated Control Panel users may under certain conditions obtain elevated privileges without completing the intended verification step. This can allow access to sensitive operations and, depending on the user’s existing permissions, may lead to privilege escalation. This has been fixed in 6.4.0.
Improper authentication in Windows Admin Center allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network.
authentik is an open-source identity provider. Prior to 2025.8.6, 2025.10.4, and 2025.12.4, when using a SAML Source that has the option Verify Assertion Signature under Verification Certificate enabled and not Verify Response Signature, or does not have the Encryption Certificate setting under Advanced Protocol settings configured, it was possible for an attacker to inject a malicious assertion before the signed assertion that authentik would use instead. authentik 2025.8.6, 2025.10.4, and 2025.12.4 fix this issue.
A flaw was found in the reset credential flow in all Keycloak versions before 8.0.0. This flaw allows an attacker to gain unauthorized access to the application.
