A flaw was found in the crypto subsystem of the Linux kernel before version kernel-4.15-rc4. The "null skcipher" was being dropped when each af_alg_ctx was freed instead of when the aead_tfm was freed. This can cause the null skcipher to be freed while it is still in use leading to a local user being able to crash the system or possibly escalate privileges.

An engine link following vulnerability in Trend Micro Apex One could allow a local attacker to escalate privileges on affected installations. Please note: an attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.
smss.exe debugging subsystem in Windows NT and Windows 2000 does not properly authenticate programs that connect to other programs, which allows local users to gain administrator or SYSTEM privileges by duplicating a handle to a privileged process, as demonstrated by DebPloit.
Apport can be tricked into connecting to arbitrary sockets as the root user
A vulnerability in Cisco SD-WAN Solution software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to elevate privileges to root on the underlying operating system. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted request to an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain root-level privileges.
AnyDesk for macOS versions 6.0.2 and older have a vulnerability in the XPC interface that does not properly validate client requests and allows local privilege escalation.
The inode_init_owner function in fs/inode.c in the Linux kernel through 3.16 allows local users to create files with an unintended group ownership, in a scenario where a directory is SGID to a certain group and is writable by a user who is not a member of that group. Here, the non-member can trigger creation of a plain file whose group ownership is that group. The intended behavior was that the non-member can trigger creation of a directory (but not a plain file) whose group ownership is that group. The non-member can escalate privileges by making the plain file executable and SGID.
All versions of Windscribe VPN for Mac and Windows <= v2.02.10 contain a local privilege escalation vulnerability in the WindscribeService component. A low privilege user could leverage several openvpn options to execute code as root/SYSTEM.
A security agent link following vulnerability in Trend Micro Apex One could allow a local attacker to escalate privileges on affected installations. Please note: an attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.
A vulnerability in Cisco Jabber Client Framework (JCF) for Mac Software, installed as part of the Cisco Jabber for Mac client, could allow an authenticated, local attacker to execute arbitrary code on an affected device The vulnerability is due to improper file level permissions on an affected device when it is running Cisco JCF for Mac Software. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating to the affected device and executing arbitrary code or potentially modifying certain configuration files. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code or modify certain configuration files on the device using the privileges of the installed Cisco JCF for Mac Software.

Windows Event Tracing Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability
Sympa through 6.2.57b.2 allows a local privilege escalation from the sympa user account to full root access by modifying the sympa.conf configuration file (which is owned by sympa) and parsing it through the setuid sympa_newaliases-wrapper executable.
A script injection vulnerability was identified in the Tuned package. The `instance_create()` D-Bus function can be called by locally logged-in users without authentication. This flaw allows a local non-privileged user to execute a D-Bus call with `script_pre` or `script_post` options that permit arbitrary scripts with their absolute paths to be passed. These user or attacker-controlled executable scripts or programs could then be executed by Tuned with root privileges that could allow attackers to local privilege escalation.

Improper privilege management vulnerability in McAfee Consumer Product Removal Tool prior to version 10.4.128 could allow a local user to modify a configuration file and perform a LOLBin (Living off the land) attack. This could result in the user gaining elevated permissions and being able to execute arbitrary code, through not correctly checking the integrity of the configuration file.
Dell EMC PowerScale OneFS versions 8.1.0 - 9.1.0 contain a privilege escalation vulnerability. A user with ISI_PRIV_JOB_ENGINE may use the PermissionRepair job to grant themselves the highest level of RBAC privileges thus being able to read arbitrary data, tamper with system software or deny service to users.
Dell EMC PowerScale OneFS versions 8.1.0 - 9.1.0 contain an improper input validation vulnerability. A user with the ISI_PRIV_CLUSTER privilege may exploit this vulnerability, leading to the execution of arbitrary OS commands on the application's underlying OS, with the privileges of the vulnerable application.

Dell SmartFabric OS10 Software, version(s) 10.5.6.x, 10.5.5.x, 10.5.4.x, 10.5.3.x, contain(s) an Improper Privilege Management vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges.
An issue was discovered in Xen through 4.14.x. The PCI passthrough code improperly uses register data. Code paths in Xen's MSI handling have been identified that act on unsanitized values read back from device hardware registers. While devices strictly compliant with PCI specifications shouldn't be able to affect these registers, experience shows that it's very common for devices to have out-of-spec "backdoor" operations that can affect the result of these reads. A not fully trusted guest may be able to crash Xen, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) for the entire system. Privilege escalation and information leaks cannot be excluded. All versions of Xen supporting PCI passthrough are affected. Only x86 systems are vulnerable. Arm systems are not vulnerable. Only guests with passed through PCI devices may be able to leverage the vulnerability. Only systems passing through devices with out-of-spec ("backdoor") functionality can cause issues. Experience shows that such out-of-spec functionality is common; unless you have reason to believe that your device does not have such functionality, it's better to assume that it does.

Improper input validation for some Intel(R) QAT software drivers for Windows before version 1.13 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a low complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are not present without special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts.
