An authenticated command injection vulnerability exists in IPFire Firewall before 2.21 Core Update 124 in backup.cgi. This allows an authenticated user with privileges for the affected page to execute arbitrary commands.
IPFire versions prior to 2.29 (Core Update 198) contain a command injection vulnerability that allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands as the 'nobody' user via the BE_NAME parameter when installing a blacklist. When a blacklist is installed the application issues an HTTP POST to /cgi-bin/urlfilter.cgi and interpolates the value of BE_NAME directly into a shell invocation without appropriate sanitation. Crafted input can inject shell metacharacters, leading to arbitrary command execution in the context of the 'nobody' user.
lfs/backup in IPFire 2.25-core155 does not ensure that /var/ipfire/backup/bin/backup.pl is owned by the root account. It might be owned by an unprivileged account, which could potentially be used to install a Trojan horse backup.pl script that is later executed by root. Similar problems with the ownership/permissions of other files may be present as well.

The Calamaris log exporter CGI (/cgi-bin/logs.cgi/calamaris.dat) in IPFire 2.29 does not properly sanitize user-supplied input before incorporating parameter values into a shell command. An unauthenticated remote attacker can inject arbitrary OS commands by embedding shell metacharacters in any of the following parameters BYTE_UNIT, DAY_BEGIN, DAY_END, HIST_LEVEL, MONTH_BEGIN, MONTH_END, NUM_CONTENT, NUM_DOMAINS, NUM_HOSTS, NUM_URLS, PERF_INTERVAL, YEAR_BEGIN, YEAR_END.

An attacker can send diagnostic while authenticated as a low privilege user to trigger this vulnerability.
ZoneMinder is a free, open source Closed-circuit television software application for Linux which supports IP, USB and Analog cameras. Versions prior to 1.36.33 and 1.37.33 contain an OS Command Injection via daemonControl() in (/web/api/app/Controller/HostController.php). Any authenticated user can construct an api command to execute any shell command as the web user. This issue is patched in versions 1.36.33 and 1.37.33.
SAP Business Object (Adaptive Job Server) - versions 420, 430, allows remote execution of arbitrary commands on Unix, when program objects execution is enabled, to authenticated users with scheduling rights, using the BI Launchpad, Central Management Console or a custom application based on the public java SDK. Programs could impact the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the system.

cups-filters contains backends, filters, and other software required to get the cups printing service working on operating systems other than macos. If you use the Backend Error Handler (beh) to create an accessible network printer, this security vulnerability can cause remote code execution. `beh.c` contains the line `retval = system(cmdline) >> 8;` which calls the `system` command with the operand `cmdline`. `cmdline` contains multiple user controlled, unsanitized values. As a result an attacker with network access to the hosted print server can exploit this vulnerability to inject system commands which are executed in the context of the running server. This issue has been addressed in commit `8f2740357` and is expected to be bundled in the next release. Users are advised to upgrade when possible and to restrict access to network printers in the meantime.

A vulnerability in the REST API of Cisco Catalyst Center could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands in a restricted container as the root user. This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in REST API request parameters. The application does not clean the HTML characters of the podcast information obtained from the Feed, which allows the injection of HTML and JS code (cross-site scripting). Being an application made in electron, cross-site scripting can be scaled to remote code execution, making it possible to execute commands on the machine where the application is running. The vulnerability is patched in Poddycast version 0.8.1.
