Fediverse Embeds embeds fediverse posts on WordPress sites. Prior to version 1.5.8, Fediverse Embeds registered an unauthenticated REST route ftf/media-proxy (includes/Media_Proxy.php) with permission_callback => __return_true that accepted a base64-encoded URL and forwarded it to wp_remote_get($url) without enforcing any allowlist. The plugin's source contained a comment block explicitly acknowledging that the request should be validated against allowed fediverse domains, but in 1.5.7 the validation only set a local $can_download_media flag that was never read. The full response body was echoed back to the caller, so this was a full-read SSRF / open proxy reachable by any anonymous visitor. This issue has been patched in version 1.5.8.
Improper Input Validation, Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor, Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in Apache Camel in Vertx Websocket component. The camel-vertx-websocket consumer mapped inbound WebSocket query and path parameters into the Camel Exchange header map without applying any HeaderFilterStrategy (VertxWebsocketConsumer.populateExchangeHeaders()). Because nothing blocked the Camel header namespace, a client connecting to the WebSocket endpoint could set Camel-internal control headers - including CamelHttpUri (Exchange.HTTP_URI) - simply by supplying them as query parameters. In a route where the WebSocket consumer feeds a downstream HTTP producer, the injected CamelHttpUri redirects the server-side HTTP request to an attacker-chosen destination (server-side request forgery - for example to an internal service or a cloud metadata endpoint). In addition, the HTTP producer resolves Camel property placeholders on the resulting (attacker-controlled) URI, so placeholders embedded in the injected value - such as an environment-variable reference, an application property, or a vault reference - are resolved to their real values and sent to the attacker, disclosing environment variables, application properties and vault secrets. When the WebSocket endpoint is exposed without authentication, this is reachable by an unauthenticated remote attacker. This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.0.0 before 4.14.8, from 4.15.0 before 4.18.3, from 4.19.0 before 4.21.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.21.0, which fixes the issue. If users are on the 4.14.x LTS releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.14.8. If users are on the 4.18.x releases stream, then they are suggested to upgrade to 4.18.3. The fix makes the affected consumers apply a HeaderFilterStrategy that filters the Camel header namespace case-insensitively on inbound mapping, so externally-supplied Camel* / camel* headers are no longer copied into the Exchange. For deployments that cannot upgrade immediately, strip the Camel control headers from the inbound message before they reach any downstream producer (for example removeHeaders('Camel*') and removeHeaders('camel*') at the start of the route), require authentication on the WebSocket endpoint, and avoid bridging an untrusted consumer directly into an HTTP producer whose target URI can be driven from message headers.
A Server-Side Request Forgery vulnerability in DELMIA Apriso Release 2017 through Release 2022 could allow an unauthenticated attacker to issue requests to arbitrary hosts on behalf of the server running the DELMIA Apriso application.
`nuxt-api-party` is an open source module to proxy API requests. nuxt-api-party attempts to check if the user has passed an absolute URL to prevent the aforementioned attack. This has been recently changed to use the regular expression `^https?://`, however this regular expression can be bypassed by an absolute URL with leading whitespace. For example `\nhttps://whatever.com` which has a leading newline. According to the fetch specification, before a fetch is made the URL is normalized. "To normalize a byte sequence potentialValue, remove any leading and trailing HTTP whitespace bytes from potentialValue.". This means the final request will be normalized to `https://whatever.com` bypassing the check and nuxt-api-party will send a request outside of the whitelist. This could allow us to leak credentials or perform Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). This vulnerability has been addressed in version 0.22.1. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should revert to the previous method of detecting absolute URLs.
FrontMCP is a TypeScript-first framework for the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Prior to 2.3.0, the mcp-from-openapi library uses @apidevtools/json-schema-ref-parser to dereference $ref pointers in OpenAPI specifications without configuring any URL restrictions or custom resolvers. A malicious OpenAPI specification containing $ref values pointing to internal network addresses, cloud metadata endpoints, or local files will cause the library to fetch those resources during the initialize() call. This enables Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) and local file read attacks when processing untrusted OpenAPI specifications. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.3.0.
VMware Workspace ONE UEM console 20.0.8 prior to 20.0.8.37, 20.11.0 prior to 20.11.0.40, 21.2.0 prior to 21.2.0.27, and 21.5.0 prior to 21.5.0.37 contain an SSRF vulnerability. This issue may allow a malicious actor with network access to UEM to send their requests without authentication and to gain access to sensitive information.
text-generation-webui is an open-source web interface for running Large Language Models. Prior to 4.3, he superbooga and superboogav2 RAG extensions fetch user-supplied URLs via requests.get() with zero validation ā no scheme check, no IP filtering, no hostname allowlist. An attacker can access cloud metadata endpoints, steal IAM credentials, and probe internal services. The fetched content is exfiltrated through the RAG pipeline. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.3.
The vRealize Operations Manager API (8.x prior to 8.5) contains a Server Side Request Forgery in an end point. An unauthenticated malicious actor with network access to the vRealize Operations Manager API can perform a Server Side Request Forgery attack leading to information disclosure.
The vRealize Operations Manager API (8.x prior to 8.5) contains a Server Side Request Forgery in an end point. An unauthenticated malicious actor with network access to the vRealize Operations Manager API can perform a Server Side Request Forgery attack leading to information disclosure.
Jellyfin up to v10.7.7 was discovered to contain a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the component /Repositories. This vulnerability allows attackers to access network resources and sensitive information via a crafted POST request.
Ech0 is an open-source, self-hosted publishing platform for personal idea sharing. Prior to 4.2.8, Ech0 implements link preview (editor fetches a page title) through GET /api/website/title. That is legitimate product behavior, but the implementation is unsafe: the route is unauthenticated, accepts a fully attacker-controlled URL, performs a server-side GET, reads the entire response body into memory (io.ReadAll). There is no host allowlist, no SSRF filter, and InsecureSkipVerify: true on the outbound client. Anyone who can reach the instance can force the Ech0 server to open HTTP/HTTPS URLs of their choice as seen from the serverās network position (Docker bridge, VPC, localhost from the process view). This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.8.
Distribution is a toolkit to pack, ship, store, and deliver container content. Prior to 3.1.0, in pull-through cache mode, distribution discovers token auth endpoints by parsing WWW-Authenticate challenges returned by the configured upstream registry. The realm URL from a bearer challenge is used without validating that it matches the upstream registry host. As a result, an attacker-controlled upstream (or an attacker with MitM position to the upstream) can cause distribution to send the configured upstream credentials via basic auth to an attacker-controlled realm URL. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.0.
The unoconv package before 0.9 mishandles untrusted pathnames, leading to SSRF and local file inclusion.
DataHub is an open-source metadata platform. The DataHub frontend acts as a proxy able to forward any REST or GraphQL requests to the backend. The goal of this proxy is to perform authentication if needed and forward HTTP requests to the DataHub Metadata Store (GMS). It has been discovered that the proxy does not adequately construct the URL when forwarding data to GMS, allowing external users to reroute requests from the DataHub Frontend to any arbitrary hosts. As a result attackers may be able to reroute a request from originating from the frontend proxy to any other server and return the result. This vulnerability was discovered and reported by the GitHub Security lab and is tracked as GHSL-2022-076.
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 0.27.1, a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in @backstage/plugin-auth-backend when auth.experimentalClientIdMetadataDocuments.enabled is set to true. The CIMD metadata fetch validates the initial client_id hostname against private IP ranges but does not apply the same validation after HTTP redirects. The practical impact is limited. The attacker cannot read the response body from the internal request, cannot control request headers or method, and the feature must be explicitly enabled via an experimental flag that is off by default. Deployments that restrict allowedClientIdPatterns to specific trusted domains are not affected. Patched in @backstage/plugin-auth-backend version 0.27.1.
SQLBot is an intelligent data query system based on a large language model and RAG. Versions prior to 1.7.0 contain a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability that allows an attacker to retrieve arbitrary system and application files from the server. An attacker can exploit the /api/v1/datasource/check endpoint by configuring a forged MySQL data source with a malicious parameter extraJdbc="local_infile=1". When the SQLBot backend attempts to verify the connectivity of this data source, an attacker-controlled Rogue MySQL server issues a malicious LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE command during the MySQL handshake. This forces the target server to read arbitrary files from its local filesystem (such as /etc/passwd or configuration files) and transmit the contents back to the attacker. This issue was fixed in version 1.7.0.
A vulnerability has been found in SourceCodester Website Link Extractor 1.0. This vulnerability affects the function file_get_contents of the component URL Handler. The manipulation leads to server-side request forgery. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
Wallos is an open-source, self-hostable personal subscription tracker. Prior to version 4.6.2, the url parameter can be used to retrieve local system files. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.2.
Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in the AnnounContent of the /admin/read.php in OTCMS V7.66 and before. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to craft HTTP requests, without authentication, containing a URL pointing to internal services or any remote server
WeKnora is an LLM-powered framework designed for deep document understanding and semantic retrieval. Prior to version 0.2.12, the application's "Import document via URL" feature is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) through HTTP redirects. While the backend implements comprehensive URL validation (blocking private IPs, loopback addresses, reserved hostnames, and cloud metadata endpoints), it fails to validate redirect targets. An attacker can bypass all protections by using a redirect chain, forcing the server to access internal services. Additionally, Docker-specific internal addresses like host.docker.internal are not blocked. This issue has been patched in version 0.2.12.
Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in PhonePe PhonePe Payment Solutions. This issue affects PhonePe Payment Solutions: from n/a through 1.0.15.
OpenClaw is a personal AI assistant. Prior to version 2026.2.14, OpenClaw's SSRF protection could be bypassed using full-form IPv4-mapped IPv6 literals such as `0:0:0:0:0:ffff:7f00:1` (which is `127.0.0.1`). This could allow requests that should be blocked (loopback / private network / link-local metadata) to pass the SSRF guard. Version 2026.2.14 patches the issue.
Some Dahua software products have a vulnerability of server-side request forgery (SSRF). An Attacker can access internal resources by concatenating links (URL) that conform to specific rules.
Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in pdfmake versions 0.3.0-beta.2 through 0.3.5 allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via the src/URLResolver.js component. The fix was released in version 0.3.6 which introduces the setUrlAccessPolicy() method allowing server operators to define URL access rules. A warning is now logged when pdfmake is used server-side without a policy configured.
A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in composiohq/composio version v0.4.2, specifically in the /api/actions/execute/WEBTOOL_SCRAPE_WEBSITE_CONTENT endpoint. An unauthenticated Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was identified in one of the web services exposed on the syngo Dynamics application that could allow for the leaking of NTLM credentials as well as local service enumeration.
Mailpit is an email testing tool and API for developers. Versions prior to 1.28.3 are vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via HTML Check CSS Download. The HTML Check feature (`/api/v1/message/{ID}/html-check`) is designed to analyze HTML emails for compatibility. During this process, the `inlineRemoteCSS()` function automatically downloads CSS files from external `<link rel="stylesheet" href="...">` tags to inline them for testing. Version 1.28.3 fixes the issue.
A vulnerability in Batik of Apache XML Graphics allows an attacker to run untrusted Java code from an SVG. This issue affects Apache XML Graphics prior to 1.16. It is recommended to update to version 1.16.
An XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability allows malicious user to perform Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via crafted XML input containing malicious external entity references. This issue affects Xerox FreeFlow Core versions up to and including 8.0.7.Ā Please consider upgrading to FreeFlow Core version 8.1.0 via the software available on -Ā https://www.support.xerox.com/en-us/product/core/downloads
Mastodon is a free, open-source social network server based on ActivityPub. By nature, Mastodon performs a lot of outbound requests to user-provided domains. Mastodon, however, has some protection mechanism to disallow requests to local IP addresses (unless specified in `ALLOWED_PRIVATE_ADDRESSES`) to avoid the "confused deputy" problem. The list of disallowed IP address ranges was lacking some IP address ranges that can be used to reach local IP addresses. An attacker can use an IP address in the affected ranges to make Mastodon perform HTTP requests against loopback or local network hosts, potentially allowing access to otherwise private resources and services. This is fixed in Mastodon v4.5.4, v4.4.11, v4.3.17 and v4.2.29.
A vulnerability in Batik of Apache XML Graphics allows an attacker to run Java code from untrusted SVG via JavaScript. This issue affects Apache XML Graphics prior to 1.16. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.16.

The inclusion of the web scraper for AnythingLLM means that any user with the proper authorization level (manager, admin, and when in single user) could put in the URL ``` http://169.254.169.254/latest/meta-data/identity-credentials/ec2/security-credentials/ec2-instance ``` which is a special IP and URL that resolves only when the request comes from within an EC2 instance. This would allow the user to see the connection/secret credentials for their specific instance and be able to manage it regardless of who deployed it. The user would have to have pre-existing knowledge of the hosting infra which the target instance is deployed on, but if sent - would resolve if on EC2 and the proper `iptable` or firewall rule is not configured for their setup.
A vulnerability was found in BoyunCMS up to 1.4.20. It has been rated as critical. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /application/pay/controller/Index.php of the component curl. Both vulnerabilities could lead to the disclosure of sensitive data or potential system takeover.
GeoNode is an open source platform that facilitates the creation, sharing, and collaborative use of geospatial data. A SSRF vulnerability exists starting in version 3.2.0, bypassing existing controls on the software. This can allow a user to request internal services for a full read SSRF, returning any data from the internal network. The application is using a whitelist, but the whitelist can be bypassed. The bypass will trick the application that the first host is a whitelisted address, but the browser will use `@` or `%40` as a credential to the host geoserver on port 8080, this will return the data to that host on the response. Version 4.1.3.post1 is the first available version that contains a patch.
Server Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in saveUrlAs function in ImagesService.java in sunkaifei FlyCMS version 20190503.
