libavcodec/mmvideo.c in FFmpeg before 2.4.2 does not consider all lines of HHV Intra blocks during validation of image height, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds access) or possibly have unspecified other impact via crafted MM video data.
Dell BSAFE Crypto-C Micro Edition, versions before 4.1.5, and Dell BSAFE Micro Edition Suite, versions before 4.6, contain an Improper Input Validation Vulnerability.
ThingsBoard before v3.2 is vulnerable to Host header injection in password-reset emails. This allows an attacker to send malicious links in password-reset emails to victims, pointing to an attacker-controlled server. Lack of validation of the Host header allows this to happen.
A memory corruption vulnerability exists in the cgi.c unescape functionality of ArduPilot APWeb master branch 50b6b7ac - master branch 46177cb9. A specially-crafted HTTP request can lead to memory corruption. An attacker can send a network request to trigger this vulnerability.
The default configuration of glot-www through 2018-05-19 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code because glot-code-runner supports os.system within a "python" "files" "content" JSON file.
The XmlImportExport plugin in MantisBT 1.2.17 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a crafted (1) description field or (2) issuelink attribute in an XML file, which is not properly handled when executing the preg_replace function with the e modifier.

The decode program in silk-v3-decoder Version:20160922 Build By kn007 does not strictly check data, resulting in a buffer overflow.
In Splunk Enterprise versions before 8.1.2, the uri path to load a relative resource within a web page is vulnerable to path traversal. It allows an attacker to potentially inject arbitrary content into the web page (e.g., HTML Injection, XSS) or bypass SPL safeguards for risky commands. The attack is browser-based. An attacker cannot exploit the attack at will and requires the attacker to initiate a request within the victim's browser (e.g., phishing).
A vulnerability exists in Sphider Search Engine prior to 1.3.6 due to exec calls in admin/spiderfuncs.php, which could let a remote malicious user execute arbitrary code.
PILOS is an open source front-end for BigBlueButton servers with a built-in load balancer. The password reset component deployed within PILOS uses the hostname supplied within the request host header when building a password reset URL. It may be possible to manipulate the URL sent to PILOS users when so that it points to the attackers server thereby disclosing the password reset token if/when the link is followed. This only affects local user accounts and requires the password reset option to be enabled. This issue has been patched in version 2.3.0.

This is enabled by an exported content provider app component that serves as a wrapper to the official content provider that contains the user's text messages. This app cannot be disabled by the user and the attack can be performed by a zero-permission app.
An issue was discovered in NeoMutt before 2018-07-16. nntp.c proceeds even if memory allocation fails for messages data.
The mdp_lut_hw_update function in drivers/video/msm/mdp.c in the MDP display driver for the Linux kernel 3.x, as used in Qualcomm Innovation Center (QuIC) Android contributions for MSM devices and other products, does not validate certain start and length values within an ioctl call, which allows attackers to gain privileges via a crafted application.
In ClickHouse before 18.10.3, unixODBC allowed loading arbitrary shared objects from the file system which led to a Remote Code Execution vulnerability.
Improper boundary check in UWB stack prior to SMR Mar-2022 Release 1 allows arbitrary code execution.
Composer is a dependency manager for the PHP programming language. Integrators using Composer code to call `VcsDriver::getFileContent` can have a code injection vulnerability if the user can control the `$file` or `$identifier` argument. This leads to a vulnerability on packagist.org for example where the composer.json's `readme` field can be used as a vector for injecting parameters into hg/Mercurial via the `$file` argument, or git via the `$identifier` argument if you allow arbitrary data there (Packagist does not, but maybe other integrators do). Composer itself should not be affected by the vulnerability as it does not call `getFileContent` with arbitrary data into `$file`/`$identifier`. To the best of our knowledge this was not abused, and the vulnerability has been patched on packagist.org and Private Packagist within a day of the vulnerability report.
GeoTools is an open source Java library that provides tools for geospatial data. The GeoTools library has a number of data sources that can perform unchecked JNDI lookups, which in turn can be used to perform class deserialization and result in arbitrary code execution. Similar to the Log4J case, the vulnerability can be triggered if the JNDI names are user-provided, but requires admin-level login to be triggered. The lookups are now restricted in GeoTools 26.4, GeoTools 25.6, and GeoTools 24.6. Users unable to upgrade should ensure that any downstream application should not allow usage of remotely provided JNDI strings.
The safe_eval function in Ansible before 1.5.4 does not properly restrict the code subset, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted instructions.
Entes EMG12 versions 2.57 and prior The application uses a web interface where it is possible for an attacker to bypass authentication with a specially crafted URL. This could allow for remote code execution.
The OpenStack RabbitMQ container image insecurely retrieves the rabbitmq_clusterer component over HTTP during the build stage. This could potentially allow an attacker to serve malicious code to the image builder and install in the resultant container image. Version of openstack-rabbitmq-container and openstack-containers as shipped with Red Hat Openstack 12, 13, 14 are believed to be vulnerable.
An issue was discovered in Mutt before 1.10.1 and NeoMutt before 2018-07-16. imap/command.c mishandles a long IMAP status mailbox literal count size.
Apache Flume versions 1.4.0 through 1.9.0 are vulnerable to a remote code execution (RCE) attack when a configuration uses a JMS Source with a JNDI LDAP data source URI when an attacker has control of the target LDAP server. This issue is fixed by limiting JNDI to allow only the use of the java protocol or no protocol.
It was found that the jclouds scriptbuilder Statements class wrote a temporary file to a predictable location. An attacker could use this flaw to access sensitive data, cause a denial of service, or perform other attacks.
Ballcat Codegen provides the function of online editing code to generate templates. In versions prior to 1.0.0.beta.2, attackers can implement remote code execution through malicious code injection of the template engine. This happens because Velocity and freemarker templates are introduced but input verification is not done. The fault is rectified in version 1.0.0.beta.2.
CodeIgniter4 is the 4.x branch of CodeIgniter, a PHP full-stack web framework. Prior to version 4.1.9, an improper input validation vulnerability allows attackers to execute CLI routes via HTTP request. Version 4.1.9 contains a patch. There are currently no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
libgadu before 1.11.4 and 1.12.0 before 1.12.0-rc3, as used in Pidgin and other products, allows remote Gadu-Gadu file relay servers to cause a denial of service (memory overwrite) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted message.
Multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities in CoronaMatrix phpAddressBook 2.11 allow remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the skin parameter to (1) index.php and (2) install.php. NOTE: it was later reported that vector 1 is also present in 2.0.
An issue was discovered in zsh before 5.6. Shebang lines exceeding 64 characters were truncated, potentially leading to an execve call to a program name that is a substring of the intended one.
An improper input validation vulnerability leading to arbitrary file execution was discovered in BigFileAgent. In order to cause arbitrary files to be executed, the attacker makes the victim access a web page d by them or inserts a script using XSS into a general website.
Improper input validation in Exynos baseband prior to SMR Feb-2022 Release 1 allows attackers to send arbitrary NAS signaling messages with fake base station.
WriteRegistry function in TSSServiSign component does not filter and verify users’ input, remote attackers can rewrite to the registry without permissions thus perform hijack attacks to execute arbitrary code.
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Software for Cisco IP Phone 7800 Series and Cisco IP Phone 8800 Series could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition or execute arbitrary code. The vulnerability exists because the software improperly validates user-supplied input during user authentication. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting to an affected device using HTTP and supplying malicious user credentials. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to trigger a reload of an affected device, resulting in a DoS condition, or to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the app user. Cisco fixed this vulnerability in the following SIP Software releases: 10.3(1)SR5 and later for Cisco Unified IP Conference Phone 8831; 11.0(4)SR3 and later for Cisco Wireless IP Phone 8821 and 8821-EX; and 12.5(1)SR1 and later for the rest of the Cisco IP Phone 7800 Series and 8800 Series.
A vulnerability in the sysadmin virtual machine (VM) on Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers running Cisco IOS XR 64-bit Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to access internal applications running on the sysadmin VM. The vulnerability is due to incorrect isolation of the secondary management interface from internal sysadmin applications. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting to one of the listening internal applications. A successful exploit could result in unstable conditions, including both a denial of service and remote unauthenticated access to the device. This vulnerability has been fixed in Cisco IOS XR 64-bit Software Release 6.5.3 and 7.0.1, which will edit the calvados_boostrap.cfg file and reload the device.
Improper input validation in obs-service-tar_scm of Open Build Service allows remote attackers to cause access and extract information outside the current build or cause the creation of file in attacker controlled locations. Affected releases are openSUSE Open Build Service: versions prior to 51a17c553b6ae2598820b7a90fd0c11502a49106.
Apache VCL versions 2.1 through 2.5 do not properly validate form input when processing a submitted block allocation. The form data is then used as an argument to the php built in function strtotime. This allows for an attack against the underlying implementation of that function. The implementation of strtotime at the time the issue was discovered appeared to be resistant to a malicious attack. However, all VCL systems running versions earlier than 2.5.1 should be upgraded or patched. This vulnerability was found and reported to the Apache VCL project by ADLab of Venustech.
Multiple vulnerabilities in Cisco Enterprise NFV Infrastructure Software (NFVIS) could allow an attacker to escape from the guest virtual machine (VM) to the host machine, inject commands that execute at the root level, or leak system data from the host to the VM. For more information about these vulnerabilities, see the Details section of this advisory.
The Publish Service in FlexPaper (later renamed FlowPaper) 2.3.6 allows remote code execution via setup.php and change_config.php.
main/http.c in Asterisk Open Source 1.8.x before 1.8.26.1, 11.8.x before 11.8.1, and 12.1.x before 12.1.1, and Certified Asterisk 1.8.x before 1.8.15-cert5 and 11.6 before 11.6-cert2, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (stack consumption) and possibly execute arbitrary code via an HTTP request with a large number of Cookie headers.
Improper input validation together with an integer overflow in the EAP-TLS protocol implementation in PPPD may cause a crash, information disclosure, or authentication bypass. This implementation is distributed as a patch for PPPD 0.91, and includes the affected eap.c and eap-tls.c files. Configurations that use the `refuse-app` option are unaffected.
